For exactly 120 for a couples massage was not reflected on my account. I contacted groupon and gave them the order number in question as well as screenshots of my confirmation email. Instead of inquiring on the issue they refunded a second groupon voucher I bought for a movie ticket in the amount of 26.45 when I paid 29.45 and skipped out on paying my 3 additional dollars. When I contacted them a third time, my email was blocked. I would have been fine calling and explain this issue but there is no customer service number. Beware of the bs. Groupon is sketchy.
We were so excited my husband was given this as a birthday gift…. The extra expenses have been ridiculous… extra $100 each to fly out from Brisbane… extra costs to sit together on flight… car hire for 3 days cause a very basic motel is not near city, beach, etc…. We were not honoured any of our three Friday and Saturday night options… had to fly out on a Thursday… taking away our income (haven't even gone and down $1060)… gosh I hope our bottom of the peeking order destination is worth it!
Although there's are a lot of negative reviews about this site, I have nothing but positive things to say. I made my first purchase the other day and just received it in the mail. Throughout the process I also received email updates on the delivery status too. Quick, efficient, and great products for sale. I'll be using this site again!
Groupon goods sells junk. They stand behind the goods for 14 days and after that, even if the products are defective, they do not stand behind them. You get a sincere "sorry for your luck, sucker!" Very poor policy! Very disappointed customer! I've bought 3 iphone 5/6 cables and all have broken or stopped working. Save yourself the trouble and spend a little more for something that will last longer than a month or two! Lesson learned!
As a business owner I am always looking for marketing ideas. Recently, Groupon.com has been featured on the news as the greatest way to expand client base. 2 weeks ago I contacted them via their online form. 2 days later I followed up with an email to their advertising department. No response. A few days later, thinking maybe I made a mistake on the form, I filled out the form wrong. Still nothing. Now 2 weeks later I called and spoke with someone in customer support- they do not allow calls to the sales department. She informed me that someone will be in touch in 4-6 weeks! This is deplorable. They need to understand that if demand increase so too should their capacity. Poor management. Awful execution.
98$ spent for a "deal".
When i wanted to take an appointment with the society of the so-called offer, i never had any answer, whereas i sent them emails and phone calls.
I came directly to the society, someone told me they were not here anymore, but was unable to tell me if they just had moved or if they didn't exist anymore.
Now Groupon don't want to refund me.
Really bad experience... Groupon = zero, finally as their offers. I'll remind that for the next time.
Tip for consumers:
Be careful about the society of the offers you want to buy!!!
So I have bought a few things from Groupon and it does remind me a lot of many of the other discount sites, but I didn't want to rate this site as "Average" because there is something "Good" about them. They focus a lot on location and events. It's really nice to browse around on if you are looking for something to do.
After two weeks, over 30 emails of empty promises, seven phone calls that left me with more doubt, one that said I would get my voucher number a day after the registration was needed, and paying for the same service three times I ended up having to pay for the service through the vendor its self with out a groupon discount or help.
I have received garbage from Groupon- didn't cost a lot, so I never returned them and they broke within a week (I'm talking about an alarm clock that projected stars on the ceiling.) It was tiny and a piece of crap.
Now I ordered joggers for my kids, the sizing was way off (and I used their size chart), they sent the wrong items after waiting a long time, and now they want to give me a prepaid label to ship back the items for a refund. Since when is the customer inconvenienced for a mistake that the business made?
I am deleting my app and never shopping here again. Horrendous.
Love this company and their deals. Even if for some reason you don't use them before they expire, you can still get at least what you paid for it! I've found so many new wonderful placed simply because of Groupon, and now I'm a repeat customer. On the one unusual occasion that I did have a problem, I called customer service and they made it right within MINUTES. The merchants that use Groupon are really smart to, great way to build their clientele. You can even use Groupon with e-bates! Will never stop using, and if you haven't used Groupon yet, find a place and service near you and start now!
My credit card number was stolen and the thieves ordered 4 computers from Groupon. Did Groupon catch this unusual activity? Hell, no! When I tried to contact Groupon about the fraud it took 5 days to get a reply - which was the typical, "you haven't guarded your internet activities properly" scold. I don't even have a Groupon account and they're screwing with me.
I would like to say that this is my first time ordering from this website and i had been planning to order more but as of right now, i'm not really planning to order anymore just in case my luck turns crappy and all those bad things that other reviewers stated starts to happen to me. The shipping date was earlier than anticipated but paying $9 for shipping and making me wait a week to get my package is like, 'what? Even ebay sellers ship faster.' i would actually expect for ups to ship faster. Customer service was great and easy to contact though. Hopefully my items are right.
Hi Livia,
Welcome aboard! I'm so glad you found our customer service to be helpful. Should you have any questions about your order, I encourage you to contact us directly at support@ideeli.com.
Our current procedure is to ship to you after the manufacturers ship to us, which can result in a little bit longer of a wait time than you may be accustomed to, but does ensure guaranteed authenticity. I know it can be hard to wait for an item you're eagerly anticipating, and that's why we ship out as fast as possible once we receive your items directly from the manufacturer. Also, I encourage you to take advantage of our All-Day Shipping policy. We only charge shipping on your first check out of the day.
Finally, we take reviews on Sitejabber very seriously, and work to address and assist each and every reviewer. Please know that in the event of an unforeseen issue with an order, we will always work to make things right. If you have any further questions, don't hesitate to reach out to us at support@ideeli.com.

I HAVE been. Using Groupon for over two years now. Its been good thus far. I've had some issues with companies not. Being able to handle all the business but that's it. I email Groupon for a refund and its processed immediately! Who cares if they only give the companies 50% back they are in the business of making. Money. These terms are agreed upon UPFRONT!
Ordered an anniversary present 2 weeks ahead of time. Money deducted from my account the very next day. Their delivery promise was for 10-12 days. Past that time limit, I get an email about a delay. A month after the order was place, I get a notice of cancellation because of lack of supply. They would not give me any details about the supplier and my money will be refunded only in 5-10 days. If they can deduct the money in a day why cant they refund it? Also it is like I gave them an interest-free loan. Is it possible to file a class action suit against the company/
I have been buying from ideeli for several years. Two years ago I had a bad customer service experience when they sent me only one item instead of two, and did not want to compensate me for a missing item. But I let it go. Boy was I wrong. In the last month ideeli managed to screw up 2 of my orders: one item was of different size than what I ordered, and other one was different color. I have had enough. It would still be fine if they were prompt responding to my issue, but I have been waiting for 2 days for them to reply to me! They did send me a confirmation that they received my question, saying they they "pledge to respond within 24 hours". What a joke! Please don't bother ordering from ideeli when there are so many website with really excellent customer service, such as myhabit or zulily.
Hi Olga,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback on SiteJabber. We're truly sorry you had a poor experience with our shipping and apologize for any inconvenience the delay from our support team has caused you. I would like to look into these complications further, unfortunately, I do not have enough information to look you up in our system. Can you please private message me your order number and user id, as well as any other relevant information so I can get to the bottom of this as soon as possible? Thanks very much and I look forward to hearing from you.

Just wanted to leave a good review following my experience with groupon customer service. I was having trouble ordering a knife set from my phone so I called in. Crystal helped me place the order and even gave me a $5 credit for the error on their site. Yay! Now just keep your fingers crossed for timely delivery and I will be even happier.
Thanks,
Vic
Hope all your voucher redemptions go well. If not, don't expect any customer service from Groupon's customer support. The vendor would only accept Groupon redemption via their website, but the instructions on the website did not work. After multiple attempts over several weeks - to schedule my event, I contacted Groupon's customer support. I included my phone number after my name at the end of the each email. After several emails from Groupon - with no resolution or refund - Groupon's third email asked me to send my phone number. Disregarding my previous emails - what a waste of time and $47! I will only deal with Living Social and TravelZoo in the future! My friends say these are better sites.
I am devastated! Shopped with ideel/ideel since 2012. My family even knew that gift time to buy me an ideel gift certificate. Nothing bad to say about Groupon, it's a groupon not ideeli. Even my UPS man has asked me what happened. I shop the site daily and loved the Sunday Night Steals. Where will I shop now? Yes Hautelook is ok but as far as they go, just go to Nordstrom. I feel like I will be left behind with fashion as opposed to trending. I'm just sick about it.
I read a lot of complains about ideeli business, and I'm one of them:(
It's actually shame business and waste of time, (I'm happy, I didn't give them card no.)
You can see below, my posts, in order to find someone to be nice with me, customer, and final answer was; I'm not gonna comment, it's funny:
"Thank you for being in touch and letting us know your thoughts. As we continue to evolve the ideeli shopping experience to be the best that it can be, your feedback is crucial. We will be taking the most constructive criticism into consideration as we make further improvements. Thanks for being a part of ideeli." :): )
Do not trust to this company, especially if they offer some "promo" and I can tell them now: "I don't like your promo coupon, I don't like to be in business with you..."
Hi Marjan,
I sincerely apologize for any confusion you might have experienced in connection with our promotional credit offer for Citi® card members. The offer you received via the ideeli link on the Citi® Specials site was intended for eligible Citi® card members only. I hope you received our e-mail to you on February 5th with further information on how to validate your Citi® card member status and fulfill this promotional offer. If you would like to validate your Citi® card member status, please e-mail us at support@ideeli.com with a telephone number where you can be reached so that we can complete the validation process.

The idea of a lot of people pitching in to get a discount is good, but Groupon is so shady it's not worth it. They have no moral compass and will hide hidden fees into their fine print. Then not allow refunds after you find the hidden fees. Products will be broke and they won't return it. The local deals are merchants that don't want to use them and make you feel awkward. It's just a bunch of junk just to try save a couple bucks. My overall feeling is the company itself is ran by scammers.
Tip for consumers:
They also own Living Social which is just as bad.
Products used:
I have purchased several products but none without some sort of issue.
Purchased restaurant voucher online on 5/2019; The restaurant was out of business and we contacted the Groupon customer support online for refund; The Groupon rep. Not only didn't help me, but also wanted to sell me something else instead of refund. She was very rude and cut off the chatting line just because I didn't follow her options to take their offering. I didn't use groupon often; from this experience, the entire thing seems a bad joke. The Groupon is playing games to cheat on people's money. No business/ service worse than this, stay away...
I went to Wales with a Groupon voucher last December for two nights with my partner. It was fantastic! We had a great time. I bought 3 manicure Groupon vouchers as Christmas presents last year and one friend enjoyed hers so much she has been going back and paying the full price. <3 Groupon! If I had a business then I would look at Groupon as a way of advertising. Get the punters in once without making a profit. If you are good enough people will come back and pay the full price!
Bought a groupon for water rafting, turned out it was wrong location. They did refund my 100 dollars but as groupon dollars. After a few months of not be able to find a DEAL
I purchased products instead. All I can say is I got dollar store merchandise at sears prices
I for 1 am done
Every thing is good unless you ordered any thing. I specially had bad experience from Groupon Goods. You will receive confirmation of product and done, now every thing is on mercy of Groupon. You are lucky if you receive product with in a month. Tracking number provided in shipping mail is generally not working. Product are not exactly same that ordered. In my case, I received totally different product.
More important, return policy: Fine print says every thing is simple. Groupon missed out finer prints like:
1. You need to justify why are you returning product?
2. There is no replacement available after deal closure.
3. Pay shipping charge from your pocket.
4. Wait for another 2-3 weeks (My refund is still missing) to get refund.
5. I think, It will not be cash/card refund but Groupon money, so you need to be a part of this game again:)
Enjoy ;)
I ordered an NYC cruise dinner around Manhattan and they immediately refunded me after purchase without any indication of why. They refunded me the total minus the convenience fee of $70 which is a lot of money. I complained and they only offered me a $10 credit. Please stay away from this scam site.
Purchased a groupon for a smog check on 7/25. Went to get the test done today on 7/31 and the shop said the machine is broken and had no clue when it would be fixed. Could be in an hour or a week. Needing to get my car registered I certainly dont have time to play games with this place. Talked to 3 different representatives on live chat. All 3 refused to give me a refund. Tried every phone number I can find online and none work. Selected the option to have a representative call me within 30 minutes. 5 hours later received an email saying due to technical difficulties they can't call me but I can try live chat to get help. I have opened up a Paypal case and now have to wait 10 days for a refund. Also have filed complaint with the FTC. They sold me a service that could not be completed and refuse to give a refund. Unbelievable.
I didn't realize that business owners got 50% taken off their profit. No wonder they tried to make it up out of me by changing terms, removing previous discounts/internet deal that had nothing to do with groupon. I ended up paying more than what groupon deal promised, got myself locked into a deal where the business owner and I no longer see eye to eye because we fought over terms being changed. At the end, business owners lose in all counts because customers like me (who got harrassed and pushed by business owners who try to recover profit) will not come back after the committment period. All the negativity generated from these initial transactions will come back to haunt business owners. RECOMMENDATION: don't use groupon. Bad deal at the end.
Groupon is the largest "daily deal" site, selling vouchers for discounted local experiences and services such as restaurants and spas, as well as travel packages, shopping, and a number of other items. Vouchers are purchased upfront and typically must be redeemed by a certain date, after which time Groupons expire. To businesses Groupon markets itself as a way to drive new customers. Groupon is a public company (NASDAQ: GRPN) and is based in Chicago, IL.
