For exactly 120 for a couples massage was not reflected on my account. I contacted groupon and gave them the order number in question as well as screenshots of my confirmation email. Instead of inquiring on the issue they refunded a second groupon voucher I bought for a movie ticket in the amount of 26.45 when I paid 29.45 and skipped out on paying my 3 additional dollars. When I contacted them a third time, my email was blocked. I would have been fine calling and explain this issue but there is no customer service number. Beware of the bs. Groupon is sketchy.
We were so excited my husband was given this as a birthday gift…. The extra expenses have been ridiculous… extra $100 each to fly out from Brisbane… extra costs to sit together on flight… car hire for 3 days cause a very basic motel is not near city, beach, etc…. We were not honoured any of our three Friday and Saturday night options… had to fly out on a Thursday… taking away our income (haven't even gone and down $1060)… gosh I hope our bottom of the peeking order destination is worth it!
If you get ripped off as I did by a company, Groupon doesn't allow on-line reviews. They only have a compilation of reviews they choose. So, you can't tell others to avoid the said products. Additionally, they solicit a review via email for everyone, so the autopilot people make even the worst company's have a 70% positive review. Or maybe some reviews are given for free products. Anyways, they create to artificial market place where everything seems positive, until you get RIPPED OFF. Amazon is so much better at this.
The post office requires me to have 3 addresses for one place. If it ships fed ex or ups I have to wait 2 extra days to go thru post office, if I cold choose carrier I could select proper address and get it on time for what i paid for and if sent via post office its 2 weeks or more if the package shows at all. In conclusion the post office sucks around here, nor should a government agency be competing with ups or fed ex. I will not shop with groupon until they let me choose my own carrier especially when I'm paying for it.
A purchase from Groupon showed up on my card while I was asleep one night for something I don't use. When I reached out to Groupon a few hours later to get the fraudulent charge removed they said nothing we can do. You probably ordered it on accident which I didn't and there is nothing we can do. Their reply was read the fine print there are no refunds *%$&@ I didn't order it what part of that do you not understand how could I read the fine print of something I never ordered. Absolutely no help at all even after forwarding to their escalation team. Be careful when using Groupon if a charge shows up on your account you did not make there is no protection for you.
I take care of most of shopping by online and this is one of my favorite sites. I often compare pricing on same product by different online shopping sites, and ideeli usually offers the same item at the lowest price. Their shipping turnaround time is not the fastest and inconsistent but I'm not in hurry of getting these items anyway. So I can deal with slower shipping time. Overall, it's a cool website and they do give courtesy credit when their shipment gets delayed.
Have had two experiences in which what I purchased didn't come through to fruition. Absolutely regret joining up and will never use again... there is always the fine print which is inflexible and they take no prisoners. Bad customer service. Never again.

I bought a dress from this website... What a disappointing experience so far.
At first, I was hesitant to purchase from it cause it look to good to be true... I thought the shipping and handling was expensive, but I said what the hell... I purchase my item last month and still has not arrive... I been keeping an eye on the tracking number,... I even purchase something from eBay two weeks later since my purchase from ideeli and Ebay arrived today... status on tracking number seems to be stuck god knows where... Chat room asked me that it was in transit. They did not specify exactly the day of arrival... Message from USPS says the same thing for over 5 days... People do not buy anything from ideeli.com... they suck at customer service... I have been in marketing for several years never in my life experience anything like this... I will spread the word with family and friends beware people

The site is easy, intuitive, and beautiful! Those big photos of travel hotels lure me in and the newsletters (be it a tad annoying) also notify me of local finds. The site has helpful profiles, links, and great bullet points about the 'important stuff'. Nothing confusing here.
The Groupon Goods are always reliable and high quality.
I've never had a problem getting a return from a Groupon that I had an issue with, or a Groupon that had business closing. Their support is fast and attentive.
Groupon has some decent deals from time to time. And other times, not. I found a "deal" that was nothing close to a deal, wrote a review and then had it rejected. So be wary of the company's review system. 2 stars off for shady practices.
I've bought a product from Groupon and never received it. They keep escalating my issue to the third party which refuses to solve it and says that I have to wait 45 days for a claim. Not worth the stress.
I bought two sets of Christmas lights from Touch of Eco in September. I but them up in December and they worked for a few days then died.
Since it was beyond the return time they won't do anything about this. Two sets both don't work.
I was given two coupon codes. When I went to the vendor site they were both rejected as expired even though I purchased them from Groupon on that day. Groupon refused to give me a refund so i am left with no product and Groupon still charged me. Will never use them again
If more people would read the fine print that is clearly stated in big bold letters and our refund policy, then maybe these folks would understand things better, but people are so fast to buy something they dont read, me personally if im buying something im going to read everything with this purchase
Initially they are having issues with their website, I saw a coach sunglasses for 5$ and ordered 2 pair. But after a day they cancelled both the orders and gave me refund. But how disappointing, because of there website issues they could not deliver there order.
They lack effective controls, to say the least, over their Merchant Marketplace. Ordered a product that was never delivered. Took three attempts to get a "full refund" through their less-than-efficient customer services and at that the refund did not include amounts for taxes and shipping/handling paid. When presented with this omission Customer Service Rep was indifferent at best. Is it even legal to charge taxes and S/H fees for goods not delivered? I'm guessing not.
I ordered a pair of "blue leather loafers" for my husband as a gift! To my surprise the order received had two different shoes, one blue suede, and one blue leather! Who does that? Trying to get in contact with Ideel has been a job in itself. Can't get them on live Chat and cannot even get a return slip! Never again, the customers service sucks! It has not been a good shopping experience, awful!

In the email she let you know a refund was issued and that you don't need to return the incorrect shoes and may dispose of them. The refund should post your account within 3 to 5 business days. I've checked inventory and found that we don't have the shoes in the size you ordered and I'm truly sorry for this inconvenience.

Not a groupon groupie but this worked out great. Event was for four people. Included hour in classroom on terminology, range policy laws and safety. This was followed by range time using 16 different pistols from 22 to 45 cal... 5 rounds each.
Two beginners and two seasoned shooters agreed the event was great.
Participants received basic training on pistol features, safety, grip, sighting and range practices.
All participants shot 16 different pistols to evaluate caliber and feel of each pistol.
The instructors were very knowledgeable, patient and focused on safety.

I had got some pretty good deals from Groupon online. It just really seems to be a problem these days with companies like this that they DO NOT CARE about customer service. So, when you want to contact someone they have a horrible process to go through. Then wait on the phone for what was it, two or three hours? You got to be kidding me! Then when I talked to a women and mentioned this to her, her response was "We're working on it?" What is that supposed to mean. Don't use Groupon, they have horrible customer service!
This is the worst company ever. I buy most of my stuff on line. I bought a dress, it was polyester! Horrible Horrible. The name brand Sun Glasses I bought were used, so stretched out I could not wear them, they fell right off my face, and of course "No returns" I will never do business with them again. I should have read about them first! Don't buy from them

Ideel's wording is very misleading. I purchased items that say "Eligible for free return". You have to read further to see that you either get store credit for your return or your credit minus $8.95 for shipping (not sure if that amount is flat rate or fluctuations according you what you return).
The items look much nicer on the site than they do in person and the quality isn't up to par with what I was expecting.
Make sure you've seen the Brand / Item / Quality of the items in person before ordering from this site cause if you try to return, it will cost you (or they keep your money as store credit).
Won't be using them again when I can pay the same amount on Amazon/Gilt/etc who actually mean it when they say FREE Returns.

Took a month to get the item. Decided to return it. Since return was only authorized for 14 days from SHIP DATE I could not process it online. Live chatted with 4 different customer service reps over a period of 2 days - all nice but giving me erroneous information. Finally received 2 return authorizations for the same item but its been a week since first contact and still don't have the promised email with my prepaid return label. I did receive an email stating it would take several days to process the return label - really? Why? Now I have to contact them again because those several days have passed with nothing (not even in my spam folder)! I will never order from them again! What a hassle

I'm pleased with Groupon. I've bought many deals from them and whenever I had issues I was offered good customer service and they have been accommodating to me. The thing to be careful with is that there are a lot of deals that you are not able to redeem right away due to high demand. So if you're buying an experience that requires reservation, it may take you a month to be able to make an appointment.
I booked a reservation for 2 nights in ROW NY HOTEL. Advertisement said its only $75 a night. I end up paying $640. Yes $640! And groupon management said they have no responsibility if the merchant change their promotions. So when we are in the hotel we found out that the regular rate is less than the amount i paid using groupon. Dont use groupon please! Misleading advertisement! They said they'll give me $30 back! For what?
I wish I read the reviews before ordering anything from groupon. I ordered a duvet cover set in beginning of December it was supposed to be a Christmas present. It has now been 3 weeks and when I go to UPS website with the tracking number they provided me it says label created waiting for package to be received. It still hasn't been shipped! They have falsely sent me an email saying it shipped 2 weeks ago.
I have used Groupon for many years for personal deals & gifts, both in the UK and in Spain but my last experience has left me very reluctant to use again.
Purchased a deal for my mum for Christmas of three beauty treatments in a salon in Worsley, Lancashire. When she tried to book, they would only allow express treatments (not stated on the advert) and were extremely inflexible, even when my mum offered to only redeem for the two that she wanted. They also asked for the voucher upfront so they could claim the payment.
When I approached Groupon, they simply offered a refund in credits to spend on another offer. Poor customer service, no interest in retaining busines and no offer of compensation or apology. Will not be using again after this and would urge others to use Wowcher, LivingSocial or another competitor.
