There were several instances that I received trash from this site and was left to jump through hoops for a refund, which 90 percent of the time I never got. They have no customer support even though they keep 50 percent of the asking price. Some one who provided services to me through Groupon said they only receive 50 percent of the asking price and because of this businesses will not treat you equally as other customers. Groupon if for business who are struggling because of bad customer service, or because they want to sell you the trash that no one wanted because of defects or lack in quality. This site is a money pit. Do not take your chances on spending 1 cent on this garbage site. I read the reviews and I ignored them, do not make the same mistake as I did.
I had bought a deal that would let me get a custom Xbox controller for $30, a $100 value. Well when I went to redeem it and make my controller, the total came to over $200! The bare minimum you could buy (certain parts ARE needed after all) was $170. I'm not sure where this 'deal' came from, but I was not happy.
Luckily Josh was able to help me and give me a full refund.
Ordered an item on 11/23 for my daughters birthday on 12/16. Was told it would ship 12/5. On 12/10 I went online to find out. They claimed they shipped and it was delivered on 12/5 which it was not. They never sent a shipping notice so I had no idea!. Cant get through on the phone and "live chat" tells me we will get back to you. They did not. Live chat again tells me they are 'investigating" and I have to wait 8 days for an answer! What bull$#*!! Never order from there again!
Seems like every time I try to order something on Groupon. It is nothing but a headache. I think the people that place I had some there or a hoax. I recently thought I was ordering a Brazilian blowout hair kit, come to find out, they never sent me a confirmation with a tracking number but yet they wanted me to go ahead and Use the voucher so they could collect the money on it. This is nothing but a hoax and Groupon knows it and they backed these people for this reason I am out. If you want to keep your money and do good, stay away from Groupon and the other thing that product was supposed to have been $35 and they're charged me $49. I had five dollars in Groupon bucks left and now it has disappeared. This company is a fraud I think the Better Business Bureau needs to know about this fraudulent company.
Groupon gives out customer a redeemed/expired code. Don't ever buy their coupon. They would not refund your money if your coupon doesn''t work. I purchase Groupon-The body shop $10 for $20 on 10/25/2012. When i go to the store on 12/15/2012, the body shop manager said my groupon has been used on 10/19/2012. How could that happened? It's obviously Groupon has the fraud which they need to fix it. I called Groupon and let them know my situation. Their response is that this code has been used on 11/17. Where do they come out the date i don't even make a purchase? This is such a excuse. Groupon refuses to refund my money, but will give you a compensation, $5, Groupon bucks instead.

Mobile app and website cannot process any of my orders when trying to use Groupon Bucks. When trying to contact customer service, no response for days and no one available on live chat. I want my money back. Groupon, you are the WORST. Crappy products and services. Thought I'd give it one last shot but now you are just a thief.
I love how groupon helps you save some dollars for a lot of things. I usually get tickets here if I'm planning to visit a museum or parks with my friends. The bigger the group, usually, they have better offers. You just need to make sure that you read the fine print before purchasing or checking it first with the establishment.
Bought a manicure for my wife, was easy enough. However, the salon sold so many that they were booked a month out, which was a bit annoying. The deals on groupon are usually worthwhile though, so I will continue to use it, and recommend it.
Be careful if you contact Groupon customer service and someone called "Danilo A" takes your case. He's extremely rude and even threatened me over the chat. If someone calls a customer service is because there is an issue that needs to be resolved but he seems not willing to help us as customer. The place I had purchased a deal refused the service and Groupon doesn't want to give me the money back. And, when I try to contact Groupon today, I get that jerk $#*! who's useless and made me even more frustrated with the whole deal. Groupon, not worth it!
Sick of Groupon selling out to the damned porn industry. "Adult toys"?... seriously? How family friendly is that? No more looking at "Groupon" for family activities or products. Groupon NEEDS an R or X rated site for the porn crap they are pushing. Bondage kits? What a great family gift that makes. Groupon has lost more than just my business. Groupon seems to attract a lot of terrible companies peddling junk. There may be occasional good merchant/product but more than big majority of the stuff is just junk.
And, when they give refunds, they never return money back - they give some stupid credit that can be used for other Groupon junk. Basically, this company is a scam, IMO
Good deals on many items, places, trips, etc... I went to Vegas & stayed in a 4 star hotel/casino with pool, restaurants, etc. for 5 nights at a cost of $128.79 in full total with a Groupon deal. :) It was the best & much needed.
Hi you didn't post my first review. So I'm thinking you may only post the negative things, I don't know. If so that is really unfair to ideeli. I happen to like ideeli. I have got some really cool things on there at a deep discount. I've had one mishap and it was resolved quickly.

They have the best customer service-enjoy buying from them and is confident Groupon will make it right if a deal fails the customer. Unlike some other similar website that does not even come close to Groupon in deals and customer service.
Groupon will not allow you to talk with anyone and when you do try they will simply say we steal your money and give nothing in return, tough luck, read our terms and conditions.
I do not suggest using this company in any way shape or form. I know I have been ripped off enough.
I don't know how to PM you from here, but I shipped the bag back today. When you receive it, please look at the back of the main zipper pull, to see the defect (word is ill-formed), as well as the lining, where there are multiple defects (should read Coach, but is illegible). My guess is that your supplier sent you a good bag as a sample, and then sent you a bunch of fakes after your buyer approved it. It's a real shame because my daughter would have loved this.

I tried to use Groupon for a lot of the things I needed or wanted for my wedding. Upon ordering, half of what I purchased was either out of stock, or unavailable. I ordered something for my fiance and was told the company that I bought it from doesn't even offer the service and they have no idea how the Groupon was on there. If they got their act together, I would continue to be a patron, but at this point it's not worth the trouble.
I love their stuff and am generally very satisfied. My only complaint is that they inflate the original retail prices. I can often find the item directly on the designer site listed at 25% less full retail. It is still much cheaper on ideeli, but they lose some credibility by inflating (or allowing designers to inflate) prices on their own site for the inaccurate comparison value.

Made a purchase and returned it within the week, took 2 months to get only a partial refund. The only customer service is online and that is like beating your head against a wall. No phone number for Groupon aside from one that tells you to communicate online. So now im out $100.00. The products i returned were the worst quality ever, Made in China. Run!

Answer: Yes, Groupon is legit. You need to read the fine print before ordering live event tickets- -they will not refund your money even if it's there fault. I only buy tickets for activities that don't expire or you can use the purchase price towards a non-Groupon service the vendor offers. Hope this helps.

I've had nothing but good experiences from Ideel in all regards - product satisfaction, price, shipping, etc. - but I've never had to contact customer service so I don't know what you'll get, but they're phone number is (888) 835-1719.

They will lie, they literally told me customer service reps were out sick, thus no answer to my emails for about 2 weeks. But, don't loose hope, the DAY I posted a review on this site, they answered AND gave me a 25.00 credit for my trouble. So write a review on Site Jabber with all the details and a bet a manager will answer promptly. As this is their way, I NEVER ordered from the site again after at least 3 years of orders. Thank you for your feedback through SiteJabber. I'm sorry to hear that your package was marked as delivered by the shipping company but was not actually delivered to you.
Your package may have shipped early due to to the fact that the items were available in stock earlier than the manufacturer had given so the package shipped before the expected shipping window. When a package is ready to leave our fulfillment center, you should receive an email to the address listed in your account that provides the tracking information and I apologize if you didn't receive it. When a package is marked by the shipping company as "delivered," we have to contact them to start an investigation to try and locate the package since we don't have any further information regarding shipments from USP and USPS until an investigation is completed. If the package is not located in the investigation that typically takes between 5 and 8 business days, we issue you a full refund back to form of payment. Please know that this type of thing doesn't happen often and we understand that it's very inconvenient when it does.
You should have received your refund after the investigation was completed. If this is not the case and your refund has not been issued, please send me your order information in a private message and I'll look into it and make sure your refund has been put through.
