Love it

I check this website periodically for great deals on restaurants and free trial offers for streaming services such as Tidal. I love the savings I have accumulated over the months. Check website and app for full range of discounts offered. Four stars because they regularly email me with information I can careless about.

Lousy service

I have been purchasing item from Ideel for many years, lately their customer service is horrible. I purchase 3 items, they only sent 2 and did not have the cutesy to tell me why the other one was not sent, I sent them a email, they send the item would be shipped between May 5-9 so far nothing has been shipped, When ever you place an order the item is always delayed, it is as if you have to send them email to remind them, lousy service

We are a flash sale site. This means, we keep very little inventory on hand - it's part of the way we can offer those great prices. Often times, our sales will have shipping dates in the future and it's entirely possible if your'e shopping across sales to have multiple expected shipping dates. We will send your items from your order out as they are available. Theoretically, an order with 3 items could result in 3 separate shipments. You can always find the expected ship date (such as the May 5-9 in this case) on the item's sale page, the check out page, your order confirmation email, and in the Orders tab on your account. I have sent several requests to stop receiving Groupon email offers, and they keep coming. Any company that you need to add to your span blocker to stop receiving emails is not a reputable company. Their subscriber numbers are clearly inflated. They did a great service to Google by not selling, in two years they will be begging to be purchased for a tenth the price.

Beware of the 'subject to availability clause'. If they get booked out, and its past the 1 week period where you get your refund, they can only issue a partial refund. If you try calling, there are extremely long wait times and you need to email them early if you didn't book until later in the valid period. Technically you should be able to book at any time during the period in which it is valid... there were no warnings to tell you to book early in case you missed out. And you've paid and given 'consideration' under contract law so why should consumers still be subject to 'booking early'? I thought a place was guaranteed.

I'm beyond pissed
December 18, 2010

I'm beyond pissed. This is my first purchase from this site. I ordered a watch on Dec 10 that was guaranteed to arrive by Dec 23. I received an email last night indicating they need an additional 5 business days which means that it won't arrive until after Christmas. This is a Christmas gift for my husband. I contacted customer service and I sent an email. Anyone have any suggestions? Based on the reviews I see this is typical for this website. After I get this item, I will be deleting this account. Online shopping should be stress free!

Great deals are as promised but their delivery promise is totally false. The products take at least a month after the order date for receiving. So, if you want the product fast Groupon is not the place to get it... however if you are patient with the very long delivery and the lack of response to customer inquire then order away.

Great discounts love the deals
January 30, 2022

The first time I found out about Groupon I was excited about the discounts, never fails to give a happy face, thanks Groupon. All the negative reviews are probably posted by angry Businesses who are losing money because they decided Groupon is not making them money, well you people decide to use Groupon to advertise for you than you don't to pay for their services, honestly doesn't make much sense. But I am a very very happy customer!

First lets start with Groupon delivery service...#1, The delivery was booked and cancelled 5 times due to the fact that they wanted to leave the boxes 5 minutes away from my house at the concierge office and not bring to my property. I had to call and speak to higher management in order for them to bring the boxes to my building. Ridiculous! #2, All items had faulty defects and was really bad quality. #3, When i spoke to customer service they were not helpful at all wanted me to do a million things before they would even consider helping me to the point i just told the lady to cancel my subscription and delete me from all database because i want nothing more to do with Groupon. This whole process was so ridiculous im left out of pocket and now have fault furniture. I dont advice anyone to use Groupon.

I had great experience with Groupon through out all my purchases & return as well. All my purchases via my phone too. I got email to let me know that the product might arrive late, which showed that they didn't forget about me. I also got confirmation email that they received my return & my $$ had been credited back to my credit card. So far all my items that I purchased were free shipping & free return. Easy & hassle free. I would recommend to everyone that read the fine print before you order b/c some sellers return policy on Groupon are different than other.

Bought a groupon for 4 (women) to travel to Bahamas. The resort that we're going to is being investigated for a brutal rape by hotel employees on a patron over this past weekend. Now we are 4 women who are supposed to travel to this resort! I call groupon to see if we can change resorts. What they can do for us. NOTHING. When asked to speak with a manager I was hung up on TWICE and then the third time was told they would call back and never heard from them.
No were either staying at a rapist resort OR out almost $2000!

I purchased a Set of 8 16 oz Guinness Vintage Pint Glasses from them and it was never delivered and after 1 month of waiting and contacting them. They told me they made a mistake and the product was not in stock at the time of sale... they refunded my money after 10 days which practically means they held my money for about 1 month and a half and god knows how many people had the same problem... this means stealing money and working with other peoples money... i will take this matter to a legal step and see what they have to say about that... i highly warn people not to purchase anything from GROUPON

Ticket disaster
November 3, 2017

Save yourself problems and do not purchase tickets from Groupon. I purchased 3 tickets more than a week ago for an event tomorrow and groupon charged me upfront. When I went to redeem the tickets, the event company did not recognize the transaction. As a result, I had to buy tickets last minute for me and my kids. Their customer service is overseas and they have absolutely no tools or authority to resolve issues so I wasted almost a full day continually calling and attempting a resolution. I finally had to give up and charge back on my credit card. Take my advice and stay away!

BE VERY CAREFUL! I ordered an iPhone case and it didn't appear in my account. I ordered again and ended up with two. Wrote to them once I finally found out how! Way too difficult to contact them! To inquire if there was one or two. They said it was handled. Then I receive and was charged for two. I wrote again and they said it says final sale in the fine print! Horrible Customer Service! On the services, the savings are ALWAYS exaggerated. Before purchase call them directly and most often they will match their groupon price.

We bought tickets through Groupon Live to see Barry Manilow at the Westgate Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. The show was cancelled because Barry was hospitalized with a Bronchial Infection and we were never notified that the show had been cancelled. Things happen and shows need to be cancelled, but the venue or Groupon should have contacted customers to tell them. Barry was admitted to the hospital the night before. They had the entire day to notify people and we yet we never received a text, email, or phone call from anyone. Instead we wasted our time driving to the event only to find out it had been cancelled. We won't ever purchase a show ticket from Groupon again since they clearly have such low regard for their customers.

I have purchased numerous vouchers and have never had any problems using them. When I had one place that had gone out of business in the city I lived the money was quickly reimbursed back to my credit card. Customer service is great!

Do not use their mobile app, and do not associate your credit card to the groupon site. You may find that you make a purchase without your knowledge just by browsing the site from your phone. Then told that nothing can be done about it until you receive and go through the process of returning the item. Meanwhile they have your money. It is either a unintentional or intentional glitch in their app. And it is unacceptable to be able to "purchase" an item without intent.

Wish we read read the reviews before trying Groupon. We purchased bowling passes with no blackout days or times listed. When we arrived on a Saturday night, we found a mostly empty bowling alley that would only redeem the voucher M-F, during the day. We were a large party that would have easily spent several hundred on beer alone! Not smart for the bowling alley, which we will never go to again. Groupon refused to refund the money and we will never use them again either.

The refund and cancellation for services no clearly mentioned. Groupon refuse to issue / process refund,
Purchase is good through 90 days and refund can be done within 24 hours of purchase - inbred color Groupon must list exception and refund and returns. Sales Marketing Falsification

I've made a few orders with this website, and have not had any issues. It seems the biggest gripe on here is with shipping; each of my orders have arrived in a timely manner. One took about a couple of weeks, but they didn't charge my card until it shipped. When you place the order in the cart, it tells you the expected ship date people! And even then I still get it before then. I'd hate to see this site go under, because of the opportunity to get such quality designer things at (mostly) reasonable prices. One bag I got for half of the retail price, and before I purchased it I did some research on kitson.com, and they were selling the exact same bag at the same time at full price! As far as I'm concerned, they're legit.
