For exactly 120 for a couples massage was not reflected on my account. I contacted groupon and gave them the order number in question as well as screenshots of my confirmation email. Instead of inquiring on the issue they refunded a second groupon voucher I bought for a movie ticket in the amount of 26.45 when I paid 29.45 and skipped out on paying my 3 additional dollars. When I contacted them a third time, my email was blocked. I would have been fine calling and explain this issue but there is no customer service number. Beware of the bs. Groupon is sketchy.
We were so excited my husband was given this as a birthday gift…. The extra expenses have been ridiculous… extra $100 each to fly out from Brisbane… extra costs to sit together on flight… car hire for 3 days cause a very basic motel is not near city, beach, etc…. We were not honoured any of our three Friday and Saturday night options… had to fly out on a Thursday… taking away our income (haven't even gone and down $1060)… gosh I hope our bottom of the peeking order destination is worth it!
Long shipping times, 30 min customer service hold time, Poor quality products. Returns are a big hassle. Stay Away! Buy on eBay or Amazon. I returned a headset because fell out every time I turned my head... no refund and can't get a hold of anybody. #groupon
I ordered two items a month ago and nothing was delivered. I contacted their customer service chat service since you can no longer contact anyone by phone. They could not locate neither of my two items purchased and it took two chats and 45 minutes later to get this info. Never will I ever order anything with Groupon again!
Good luck getting your purchases in the "2 1/2 weeks" delivery period. Going on a month now and I haven't even gotten a shipping notification. Customer service is a joke. You send an e-mail and they tell you they received it and will respond, but never do. Will think twice about ordering anything ever again.
When a merchant has staffing issues (who doesn't these days) and cannot honor the Groupon for months, you are out of luck. No Groupon refund. No reissue. Groupon customer services says, "Sorry," "Sorry," "Sorry," but Groupon policy seems to say tough luck, sucker! Sure, Groupon says, you can use the value at that merchant (which whom you have no relationship) but which would result in your paying full price--half for the Groupon and balance to the merchant. My mistake.

Why won't you honor a coupon for a faithful customer? I've asked this question to your 'customer service' three times, but have only gotten stock responses, none of which applies to my problem. Shame on Groupon!
My initial reaction when discovering Groupon was this must be scam. Discounts which sometimes exceed 90% surely is too good to be true. However, I have since determined that this isn't the case. There is still some question marks over how Groupon gets such good discounts and still manages to make money but I can see three reasons why. Firstly Groupon can presumably get discounts through bulk buying, secondly many companies must offer to give discounts to Groupon in exchange for the publicity and finally some money must be made from people who purchase activities off of the website and then don't use them.
Good site. Used it to get a discount for jet skiing, cost me about 50% of the regular price. Never tried anything else, but the jet ski thing held its promise and i cant complain. If i find something i need in the future, i'll consider buying a coupon there again.
I have a few things that bothers me. Beside feeling bad for small businesses that can't survive business bother and if anything didn't do their research, I feel this is pretty much a scam for businesses and consumers. I mean businesses lose a pretty big chunk of money if they get to many, which I'm sure they don't limit on their site. Not enough customer demand means it's down here from there. Sticking with free coupons for now...
Ordered a ring for my girlfriend to go along with her bridesmaid dress (purple amethyst). Ordered it 2 1/2 month before the ceremony... Have yet to get it. That was in February... It is now 3 days till November.
Groupon sucks. Very unreliable unless it is a printed voucher! Do NOT buy goods from this scam! I can't even get my money back!
This is pretty good- I don't understand all the complaints. Although I just sent a return in, so if they don't refund me I may have to make a complaint... but up until now it's been great! Good selection and fast shipping for that kind of site.
I have only had wonderful experiences with Ideeli! I started ordering from them about six months ago. I think the fact they tell you how long it will take to get your items and I have never been disappointed! I usually order one item once a week:-)

So disappointing with groupon. Was a loyal customer. Purchased I-pad mini which is defective. There is no warranty and they won't take it back. Will never buy from them again! Customer services was completely not helpful.
As a small business owner, Groupon definitely takes advantage of their reach. I highly advise against part entering with them because the support is horrible and 50% of your earnings before all of their "promos" is absolutely ridiculous. I literally ended up loosing money by allowing customers to book via Groupon.

I purchased my first Groupon recently, a 3 course meal at a 4 star deluxe hotel in Mayfair worth £60 and in all honesty, I've had better airline food!
I like a good deal the same as the next person, but when you buy something which is on offer, you expect the same quality as if you were paying full price but at a reduced discount otherwise it's not an offer. What you don't expect is served a sub par meal which reflects the actually value of what you have paid!
As far as first impressions go, I'm now going to be very sceptical on any future purchases made with Groupon
I am extremely upset that I cannot order items directly from Ideeli. Ideeli had unique and brand name clothes that you could get at a discount. Also, customer service was excellent. Now I have to find another venue to shop but it will not be through groupon which is difficult to navigate. Please bring back Ideeli. I think Ideeli has enough support and customers according to the comments submitted.
I used to love groupon, however recently comparing prices(for goods) to other retailers, especially amazon.com, Amazon still has lower prices for the same products. Pay attention buyers! Don't get me started on services! I purchased a Groupon for a hair salon and came out paying more than double the amount of the Groupon after services were provided. Be sure to call the restaurant or Salon before purchasing to see what is REALLY included because apparently the fine print isn't completely specified. AND when you want to leave a comment/question on groupon it has to be approved before it is posted. Just so you know not all questions/ comments or listed on the app/website.
Groupon used to be great and was slowly growing but now it's not about local restaurants and deals so much - just lots of junk you can find anywhere on the internet. I think a lot of the items are sold by Groupon themselves. ALWAYS check the actual retail price listed online for an item. You'll find that Groupon jacks the price up on their retail listing, which makes it look like you're getting a really good deal... NOT. I miss the old Groupon.
Booked a trip to Azores for 10/3. Never heard back from Azores express and when I contacted Groupon, they told me to hold off 3 to 4 days because they were probably just backed up. Never heard from Azores express at all so when I finally did, my return flight was no longer available. So basically Groupon deals, even though it includes rt airfare, you have nothing reserved after you have paid and the airlines is focusing on filling the seats with the more expensive travellers. Shady practice!
I have recently given groupon a second chance and in the 4 months I've been back with them I've had wrong products, reflexology that could have been done by a car mechanic and the list goes on. I called to seek compensation for their mistakes but all they do is tell you to send it back and reorder again. I said so let me get this straight... your mistake and you want me to use my time free of charge to correct your mistake with no retribution. The supervisors read off a script and could care less about their customer satisfaction!
I get daily emails from these people. Annoying. Sometimes they have some good deals, or at least what looks like good deals. I recently ordered one of those robot vacuum cleaners at a great price. It was delivered on time and it worked just fine for about two weeks. Now it doesn't work at all. I emailed Groupon customer service and their response was to tell me that I was on my own. Maybe I should contact the manufacturer of the device. That's not what I wanted to hear.
I would say stay away from Groupon Goods.
GF ordered 24 piece container set. Everything shows up fine, except 1 lid is cracked.
Call the support center and was told we would have to ship the entire set back.
Really? Really? Was told they don't ship individual pieces. Folks this is not Amazon in terms of customer service for merchandise.
We will steer clear of any more group on deals
After multiple negative experiences with Groupon I'm finally fed up. Orders never arrive in a timely manner. No tracking information. Things arrive broken/not functioning consistently. I have now been waiting for an order for nearly a month. If it ever does arrive I am going to have to have it forwarded to my current location as I had to return to graduate school for the start of the new semester before the package arrived. This package has yet to be fulfilled according to the information available online. Do not shop with groupon until they get their act together again, if you do, prepare for disappointment.
I miss this site so much! Have not found a replacement since! I purchased 90% of my wardrobe from Ideeli now I barely shop. Tried Zulily and others the selection is terrible or over priced. Someone please revive Ideeli. All my pieces that people ask where I got them were purchased from Ideeli.! Can't even find my favorite brands that used to be on there.
Tried for an hour to place an order, can't find phone number to talk to live person, can only live chat or email. They (2 different reps) could not figure out why their site would not process my order. After reading all the comments here & Consumer Affairs glad the order didn't go through. Would NOT recommend, use Jet.com have had great experience with them
