You should always check to see what the real price of the items are before buying a Groupon. Lot of their stuff is just regular price but with some gimmick added on. Other than that, usually they have good deals. I still buy from them often.
Theatre voucher failed to appear. After about two hours of online chat we were told the problem would be investigated which would likely take 48-72 hours. The show started in 2 hours. Attached picture shows order still processing an hour after the show began. Utterly incompetent and useless.
I was charged for a product I never got. Now I'm out $46.99 and got nothing out of it, I'm very disappointed. Don't buy from Groupon!

I have used Groupon for years and apparently the service has gotten worse. Worst experience ever. I had booked a trip to Niagara Falls at one of the area hotels. In finding out that the hotel had bed bugs previously. I wanted to cancel my reservation. Groupon denied my request. So I decided to take my family there and check it out for myself because I did not want to waste my money. In doing so our room was gross. There were oil stain on the sheets. I told the clerk that I wanted to cancel staying there. She said we are so sorry for the trouble and said for your convenience we will put you in the suit to stay. Canceling our other room. Later on I went to go to groupon to buy another coupon. Realizing our groupon was still there. I called to make sure when I booked again that there would be no trouble. The clerk said that it takes a while to drop off that because we stayed it was redeemed. This was back in August. I believed I had got credit. She told me so you are not bothered by seeing it on your account I will mark the Groupon as being used. I told her that I believed we had received a credit. She said it is marked as a booked day and not a coupon code even though thats how it was redeemed. Very frustrated. She told me that because we were given another room we were taken care of. Lets not figure a good couple hours were wasted trying to find a clean room. Can't believe I just wanted to take a trip with my family and all this mess happened because I decided to never never use groupon again. It was my families first trip together after being in the N. I. C. U with my son for 6 months because he was born early. We needed a nice trip for the four of us. The clerks were so cold and their customer service stunk. This had nothing to do with the fact I did not get my groupon back. I am still in shock. I do not suggest looking through this site because it only causes you trouble.

Let me tell you a little bit about my experience with groupon so far. I bought a deal from them for $34 on one day. Four days later my card was charged again for another $34. Their excuse was that i had purchased two deals from each of my accounts. I explained to them that i had tried to make a purchase from one account and was unable to complete the checkout process so i switched to another - and in any case, since i unsuccessfully attempted the purchase on one account and actually purchased the deal on another account on the same day, within minutes of one another, how did my card end up charged twice on different dates? Let me also note how hard it is to get in touch with these people. Send them an email and a robot responds saying they'll reply in 72 hours. Trust me, they won't unless you keep contacting them nonstop or threaten to dispute the charges. Their phone service is just as insipid and dense as the robot! When i requested a refund, they said they'd have one to me within 10 business days. Day 10 came and went and no refund was showing on my account. When i contacted them for the 1000th time i was told there was no way the charge could have even showed up on my bank statement. When i offered to send them a copy of my bank statement they relented and switched back to their original song and dance and said the refund had been released by their company and was being held up by my financial institution. Upon contacting my bank, they said there was nothing that could be seen on their end as far as a refund went and decided it was in my best interests to go ahead and dispute the charges and said groupon's actions have thus far constituted as fraud since they charged my card a second time on a different date without my authorization and requested i file a police report - which i am considering doing. Just a word to the wise... don't use them for anything. They're quite literally thieves in my book and that's all i have to say about them. I'm still considering contacting the BBB regarding them.
