I like ideeli. The items are always sent out on time and the dates of shipment are clearly listed when ordering. Yes, sometimes orders take weeks but you can't complain because the dates of shipment for each item are listed under the price. It is up to the buyer if they want to wait that long. Ive found some great deals and some good quality pieces, everything has arrived new and in nice red wrapping paper. I had a few issues which were easily resolved by talking to a customer service rep. They're $9.95 monthly shipping charge is very fair if your a frequent shopper, however I wish they offered 2 shipping options, a one time $5.95 or monthly 9.95---that would be awesome! Also, sometimes they advertise red sales but the items I recognize from earlier in the month and at the same full price, I find this deceptive. But I do realize ideeli needs to make $, just dont advertise it as a red or closeout price when it is not.
We were so excited my husband was given this as a birthday gift…. The extra expenses have been ridiculous… extra $100 each to fly out from Brisbane… extra costs to sit together on flight… car hire for 3 days cause a very basic motel is not near city, beach, etc…. We were not honoured any of our three Friday and Saturday night options… had to fly out on a Thursday… taking away our income (haven't even gone and down $1060)… gosh I hope our bottom of the peeking order destination is worth it!
I bought a 3 month gym membership for curves. It was redeemable at a choice of 2 locations. When I called the location of my choice the lady who answered said she didn't know what I was talking about and my Groupon was not redeemable at her location. Ok, fine. I contacted Groupon and they gave me "Groupon bucks". So Iwas able to choose another Groupon.
My choice was a mani/pedi. It said appointment only. I made an appointment a week in advance. I show up the day of and wait outside, in the cold, outside a locked store. The business is not answering the phone. Door locked and all lights off.
So I call Groupon and tell them that my appointment was a no show. Guess what, tough bananas for me. That's what I was told In a nutshell. I was thanked for "reaching out ", but they don't offer any refunds so I'm SOL.
Hmmmm, something is not right here.

I tried to call several times within the 24hours and left msgs with order number after missed their call, but never have someone answered / returned my calls! And they cancelled my order right after I missed their call. I never had any problems on any other orders from other sites.
I have been a satisfied customer at groupon for the past couple of years but this last week I have had three instances where I never recieved a product, the product that I ordered was not one that I ordered, and a local service I bought a groupon for was not licensed/able to offer the service. Overall money spent and lost was $250! When I called groupon they politely told me if was out of their hands and nothing they could do. The groupon to the fishing trip which has no boat license and thus is unable to take people on a fishing trip is still offered as a groupon to unsuspecting purchasers even after they were aware of the business being unlicensed and unable to offer the groupon service! I was always one to recommend groupon but I now have to warn others of groupons inconsistency. Save your $5 and go with a company who is reliable and able to reimburse you are not able to get what you purchased.
As I can tell about this site (and most of the alike ones) - its a good opportunity to get something at a low price, however I try to always order things I know about - that way you get a discount and the service/item of the expected quality.
We have been using groupon for a while but our last expcerience while travelling to London was great thanks to groupon. Excellent merchants for brazillian blow dry and the eateries were par non. Overall we saved lots and quality was not sacrificed. Groupon is great!
I tried to make a transaction two times and said cant be processed had a problem with my credit card so i tried a different card and a different order same item and the next day the two transactions that cold not be prepossessed went through and customer service said cant help me so now i have 3 of the same thing wtf
$75 worth of wine for $25. You have a purchase at least $75 worth of wine to get the total voucher of $75. The extra money on your voucher doesn't help cover the cost of shipping. It still ended up costing me $23 for tax and shipping. It wasn't a good deal after all. Won't buy any more vouchers from groupons!
I AM DONE with Groupon! They love to take your money! But beware if you have ANY problems! Like having (2) purchases on my account I never made! They are impossible to reach it has to be done by email (if you can even find there email). It takes them FOREVER to return that email and then they are unwilling to even address what you emailed them for except to say" That if you unable to use the purchaes you can give them as gifts!" It's unbelieveable it's like they have a pre-printed response. Buyers Beware is all I can say.

Purchased registration for a 5k. First one for grandson. Tried to redeem. Code did not work. When I reached out to Groupon, the sent the same instructions that we're on the website, which had not worked the first four times I tried to use. NOT helpful! Then said they couldn't help me and sent me to event people and they have not responded since. I will never use Groupon again. Just go straight to the event or restaurant or whatever you're trying to do. Avoid Groupon.
Placed an order in November expecting delivery for Christmas. Now 2nd January and item still hasn't turned up. No response to emails. Can't get through on phone. Will never be using again! Avoid at all costs.
Merchandise can be sketchy at times and I've noticed a much stronger trend towards china lately. Not like everything under the sun isnt made there anyway. (you can always thank mankind's unsatisfiable greed for that) but a lot more of the "obvious" chinese labels are showing up more and more. Dont know wat im talking about? Just compare there goods with the stuff you find on the original chinese classic FOB shopping website, Geek. Its the same damn stuff! Except Geek is waaaay cheaper but you have absolutely no idea what your really gonna get and when or if you'll ever get it. Things like massages and mani pedis are always a sure and fairly reasonable bet on Groupon though. Stick to those and you'll be fine.
I purchased MyEyeDr. Complete eye glass witt eye exam for $49.00 at Groupon.
I ended up pay $79.00 more for basic frame and glasses total of $128.00
After 6 month right side of the frame(Temples) plastic coating cracked., I called MyEyeDr. Yesterday, they said this problem is not under warranty I have to pay for the new frame. I think should cover warranty for one year defective merchandise.
They told me to contact frame manufacturer for warranty repair, I don't have a manufacturer contact info niether MyEye Dr.

I planned and purchased a Reebok running shoes. I ordered it on 11th May and on 19 may I receive an email stating - 'Due to overwhelming response we are unable to deliver the shoes". I purchased a groupon for laser hair removal ($900+). The company I purchased the laser hair removal from didn't respond when I called for an appointment (I called three times). I contacted groupon for a refund. They said they would refund me back the $900+ to groupon bucks. When I asked for a refund back to my credit card, as I still want laser hair removal... And from a company I know and trust- they said they'd look into it. I've followed up with them four times with no response from groupon. Apparently I'm stuck with $900+ in groupon bucks?! Based on groupons customer service I never want to shop with them again. This is the worst customer service ever! I've just made a $900+ mistake. If I can give anyone any advice about groupon... DON'T BUY ANYTHING FROM GROUPON, unless you know and trust the company you're purchasing from.
I am absolutely done with Groupon. I ordered products 2 and 1/2 weeks ago. Half never showed up in My Groupons. I've been writing them every day since that night for refunds. 2 of them were time sensitive. Since they didn't show up they can't be used by me as I'm no longer in the area.
Every day I get some barely intelligible response from an Indian person. They aren't even answering the question! I can't stand it anymore. I can't believe an essential communication job for every business is outsourced to India. Reading from a script book of wrong answers back to me is not helpful!
So anyways, the dumb asswipe who wrote back today... after 2 1/2 weeks of contacting them for a refund since an hour after I ordered the stuff... Said sorry we don't allow refunds. You have to request one within 3 days of purchase. Wtf! Can they not read that that's what I've asked for since the first day of purchase?

I waited 2+ weeks, had to hunt down the 3d party delivery service just to find out Groupon had never sent the package. After trying to reach a manager 3 phone calls later. 2hours with customer service. They put me on hold for almost 30minutes twice the call got dropped when on hold.(funny how this never happened with anyone else). Every time I asked for a call back I had a different person who was nonchalant about the problem. After 3 days I finally get ahold of a "supervisor" Paul (probably not his real name) code was *******. All I asked was that I get a refund and some credit for the waisted hours. NO HELP AT ALL. If you want to risk having a horrible experience don't go with Groupon just buy the stinking product full price you will pay more if you don't.
Group on customer service is an absolute joke and farce like many sites. Customer Service and third party merchants refuse to adjust terms in light of the COVID-19 crisis and like most businesses only cares about their profits instead of thinking of customers.
Be extremely careful browsing groupons - accidentaly hit the "buy" tab and it's yours. Period. You find out you bought it when you receive a confirmation email. You only have two hours after purchase, not after confirmation, to cancel the order. Depending on how often you check your email, there's a strong likelihood that you are stuck with whatever the item is. It has now happened to me twice. The first item I was able to return ( a big drag as it was sent to someone else, 1500 miles away); this second time (today) the item is nonreturnable - and absolutely unwanted, unneeded by anyone I know. Fortunately, it wasn't an item costing several hundred dollars - but, even if it had been, Groupon' answer is - "too late!"
Purchased Car Starter Groupon for $149.00. Called to set up appt. And was told it would be an additional 150.00. Groupon refuses to refund my money. I wish I had found this site BEFORE USING Groupon. It is a very expensive lesson for an old lady (75) on a fixed income! STAY AWAY FROM GROUPON!
I ordered something from Groupon over 3 weeks ago and still have not received my order. I have called multiple times and they keep saying "It will get there in a couple of days." It has been over 3 weeks now and still nothing. Lets just say my partner and I are NOT happy customers and I will NEVER order something from Groupon again!
Do not buy sofas from Groupon. I bought two sofas from them for my parents. The quality is so poor that the leather has literally peeled off. My parents are so embarrassed they've just been covering the tears with throw blankets. As they are pensioners they cannot afford to buy replacements until we get a refund from Groupon but as bought them over 12 months ago Groupon do not want to know, choosing to hide behind their terms and conditions and ignoring consumer law that states items must be fit for purpose and last a reasonable amount of time. Their live chat abruptly ended the chat because he didn't want to deal with me so I emailed their CEO Rich Williams. The only response so far is an email back from the normal customer service email asking for more details of the order. I provided this straight away and haven't heard anything back despite chasing them twice. I have therefore lodged a complaint with the EU online dispute resolution and am seeking legal advice on how best to take them to court to retrieve the money they have effectively stolen along with some compensation from my elderly parents. I will not rest until they have paid dearly for what they have done.

OK, so i returned them (in the meantime, my size sold out, which sucked.)
They recv'd my package on Oct 2. I waited until Oct 13 to inquire. Said they had a warehouse move and would process my refund "soon". So, I inquired AGAIN, on Oct 25. NO REPLY. I sent another email today. I am quite fed up with this company and frankly will not use again but in the meantime i want my money back - BECAUSE I WAS SENT THE WRONG ITEM.

I signed up for ideeli without reading the reviews. Then I saw all of these terrible things about how people hadn't gotten the right product, it had taken forever, yadda yadda yadda.
But... I was hooked by the prices so I tried it anyway. I've bought about 8 things from Ideeli.com on 4 separate occaisions. Each time, they have not only gotten my order correct, but it has also come around 4-5 days after I purchased it, which is waaaaaaay before it said it was going to arrive online. I've now decided to only shop at ideeli instead of gilt and hautelook, as I have also ordered items from those sites, and have yet to get them.

Took the kids yesterday afternoon and the door is locked, a messy hand-written note is taped to the door they are closed, and there is notice on the door by the landlord that they haven't paid the rent. I notified groupon yesterday. Today there is still a groupon for sale to Kids Quarterz and so far it has sold nearly $26,000 in groupons! Haven't heard back yet on my request for a refund.

They call for many reasons and without having the order information I'm unable to know why they needed to reach out and verify this order. As an online retailer we sometimes have to cancel an order that is not verified and since we are a member's only website, we can cancel an order if our Loss Prevention team is unable to verify it.
If you left a message with the information requested in the voicemail during the timeframe required, Loss Prevention should have been able to use that information to pass along the order for fulfillment. Failure to provide the requested information would have resulted in the cancellation and I'm terribly sorry for that inconvenience.
If you can provide me with the order number for the canceled order, I'd like to work with our Loss Prevention department to find out what happened.
