I like ideeli. The items are always sent out on time and the dates of shipment are clearly listed when ordering. Yes, sometimes orders take weeks but you can't complain because the dates of shipment for each item are listed under the price. It is up to the buyer if they want to wait that long. Ive found some great deals and some good quality pieces, everything has arrived new and in nice red wrapping paper. I had a few issues which were easily resolved by talking to a customer service rep. They're $9.95 monthly shipping charge is very fair if your a frequent shopper, however I wish they offered 2 shipping options, a one time $5.95 or monthly 9.95---that would be awesome! Also, sometimes they advertise red sales but the items I recognize from earlier in the month and at the same full price, I find this deceptive. But I do realize ideeli needs to make $, just dont advertise it as a red or closeout price when it is not.

We were so excited my husband was given this as a birthday gift…. The extra expenses have been ridiculous… extra $100 each to fly out from Brisbane… extra costs to sit together on flight… car hire for 3 days cause a very basic motel is not near city, beach, etc…. We were not honoured any of our three Friday and Saturday night options… had to fly out on a Thursday… taking away our income (haven't even gone and down $1060)… gosh I hope our bottom of the peeking order destination is worth it!

I had paid for a hotel in New York for the weekend. I live in Ohio an unfortunately there was a huge snow storm coming through the midwest to the northeast. They were advising people not to travel. I had spoken with someone from the hotel an they said they didnt have a problem with me changing our reservation to the following weekend. I however had to get in contact with groupon. I went back an fourth with them all weekend one person would tell me one thing another would tell me something different. They were rude an ended up telling me there was nothing they could do. They weren't gonna do anything about it even though the hotel was fine with it. So needless to say they kept my money. I could totally see them saying no if i was wanting my money back. I'm just really disappointed cause i have been a great cutomer an now i won't use them again.

It happen to me several times, that I bought a product and Groupon never says what the final price is. Just a couple of minutes ago, I bought a juice cleanse, turns out that now that I've redemed it, I paid $35 for the shipping, without any options to choose how I want it to be shipped and it takes more than a week to receive it! So that would have been way cheaper to buy it directly in a shop instead through Grupon, plus, I'd have have it quicker. Grupon should at least mention about the costs before you buy it, so you have the choice, but ones you have the grupon purchased, you have no choice but pay that! I am pretty mad on missing information before the purchased... happened to me in many many ocasions! I do not recommend anyway to use Grupon for any kind of purchased! Plus, the customer service when I tried to talked to them was not helpful neither nice at all!

Last month me and my Girlfriend go to the Independence Park and after that we go to the Seward's Folly Bar & Grill because we know that there quality of there are so amazing! Groupon site is one of the best site which is good for Friends, family and special love ones.

Groupon does not willing to offer refund on their misleading deal. Obvious "Hotel Collection" is a brand name, and the Andiamo is not equal to "Hotel Collection". I cannot believe they still want to argue that.

Here is the respond I got from Groupon:
I am sorry for the confusion. To clarify, "Hotel Collection" is a marketing term for an upscale brand. Andiamo is the name of this business's Hotel Collection line and is the upscale brand featured in this company's Hotel Collection. Many companies offer an upscale Hotel Collection, and I apologize for the misunderstanding.

So I bought a Groupon (and I have bought some before and never had a problem, but after this mess - NEVER again) They sold me one that the merchant clearly is not responding to multiple calls, messages left and emails... (and they are still selling for that company BTW!) After never getting anywhere with the company (for over TWO months) I contacted Groupon... long story short, I had to call my credit card company, because Groupon doesn't care about happy customers (then I tried for THREE WEEKS and they just ran me around in circles!). Save yourself a major headache and don't buy from them!

I think that Groupon has pretty good deals.

Some negatives are when I go to claim a Groupon, its really crowded or the merchant doesn't look so happy when I am there to use my Groupon. I don't like the feeling of them not wanting to deliver the service with a pleasant smile. Truly, how can you really blame the business. Reading all the reviews, it seems apparent that the business loses out.

The other negative is that I always get buyer's remorse, every transaction, I wonder if it was a good buy. In any case, with the Groupons, I feel like it's pressure buying. I've had a few Groupons that I've let expire and lost money on because I just couldn't use it in time, I couldn't make the drive over to where I bought the cupcakes from and I had to order 48 hours in advance.

I did find a website that I really like now called www.Stretche.com. It's all the good of Groupon without the bad. No buyer's remorse because you don't need to buy, just "clip" a coupon for free.

Bought a deal for frozen yogurt. Went the next day, the business is closed. Right place, right location, etc, etc. Bldg is gutted, phn disc, website defunct. I tell Groupon. They refund me "because I'm within the 3-day grace window" and do nothing else. Um, no. You refund me because the business is a lie and you take the deal down. A WEEK later the deal is still up. I submitted the evidence to google and yelp. Both took less than 24hrs to verify my "claims" and post the business is closed. But a week later Groupon still has the deal live. I've written them three times. They won't take it down. Now that is STEALING. That is CRIMINAL. I will never bu from them again.

Do not use!
Very unhappy with groupon services!
They were Unhelpful and didn't care about the problem that arose after i bought a couple of groupon vouchers.
I have been a customer at the groupon website for a very long time. Used there website to do holidays, fundays out with the family or even just lunch.
1 out of the 5 groupon vouchers i bought was wrong. Upon explaining i had no use for the voucher. That i couldn't use it even if i wanted to and that i would like to swap it to the same as the others from the same company, just different place. They pretty much said " to bad so sad" about the exchange.

I always use the Belgian groupon site. It's a good site when you want a hotelroom or a dinner. I can't recommend you to order clotes or furniture but some prices are very low. It is very easy to use, you book a room, i always send an extra mail to the hotel, just to be sure. Never had problems.

I am sorry a lot of people hav had bad experiences with ideeli... but i must tell you I LOVE this site. I´ve made over 15 purchases so far and have had great experiences in all but one of the items. Most of the time the prices are way below the regular price and I can assure you i´ve never had one item which I did not think had the proper quality. The only bad experience I´ve had is getting a dress with the security tag still attached. Ideeli told me to return it and that they would send it back again and pay for shipping, I tought it too much of a hassle and decided on removing it with my Dremel tool (not recommended unless you really know how to work this tool). After this the dress was lovely and I got tons of compliments on it. I´ve allways been happy about my ideeli purchases.

Other two sites I can highly recomend are gilt and hautelook.

I submitted all the information Groupon requires in order to be considered for an account to list items on Groupon, several months ago. Have not heard one thing back from them.

Then, I took a closer look at what they DO allow to be listed on their site, things like COUNTERFEIT otterboxes.

I guess the only clients they want are people that sell counterfeit crap and rip off customers.

Tip for consumers:
I think we should all boycott Groupon until they decide they want to allow REAL people with genuine products to list. Seems they are only interested in allowing scam artist to dump their crap on unsuspecting victims.

Purchased a so called deal on Groupon. Not sure who is making the money on these but I know it's a ripoff for the consumer. I ended up paying more in the end than I would have without the Groupon "deal". Whether it was Groupon or the merchant that was resonsible, I will never patronize either one again. I should have known better and I certainly will in the future. BUYER BEWARE!

Do not use Groupon! DO NOT USE GROUON. They refused to give me a refund for a service that was canceled by the company themselves, despite me asking for a refund the day after I purchased it and their policy of a guaranteed refund if requested within 3 days of purchase. This was a $300 purchase. Their reasoning is so that you can "support local businesses" instead of receiving a refund. This is interesting because individuals cannot support businesses if they themselves do not have money for luxury. Your money is better off being spent with the company themselves. Many times the companies will honor groupon prices if you purchase directly through them instead.

I bought concert tickets the tickets stated to pick them up at 6:30 pm for certain seats did exactly what the ticket said but when we arrived could only get tickets for the nose bleed section. Venue stated that the tickets were available for pick up at 10 am that was a error from GROUPON.

Ran a deal campaign with group on. They have falcified statements about refunds that they could not provide any proof for. They also have incompitent sales staff. Basically they are scamming businesses. Beware of scammy voucher companies.

I ordered for the first from ideeli. I loved the blouse even more once it was received. It arrived on the expected date. I wore the next day and received lots of compliments; however someone did notive a small tear on one of the sleeves. I was devastated... Contacted idelli on a Sat. And left a message and then left an e-mail. By Monday I received an email and also a personal call! Ed at customer service was very understanding and told me what I needed to do next;.

I would give 0 star if I could. I bought tickets for a concert for me and my wife with 3 months in advance, which I had to wait for an email to let me know when I could redeem the tickets. Never received the email, and when I called a month before the concert they told me everything was fine but I had to wait until 15 days before the concert to redeem the ticket. Called again 15 days before and they told me my tickets were canceled by the system, they didn't even know why it happened. I've been waiting for 3 months to go to this concert, and now I don't have a ticket, and when I try to buy from another retailer the price is insane, and there is no more seats for me and my wife to seat together. So desapointed.

Buyers beware: Groupon has a slick process to snare customers for their merchants! Groupon makes you view the voucher in order to get to the merchant's details and 'fine print' - the 'fine print doesn't transparently communicate shipping costs, so you have to navigate to checkout to find out - a $4.49 sketchpad offer in Groupon would cost an additional $7.20 for shipping (merchant is Qualtry)- outrageous for a sketchpad! Try to get a refund? - No: Groupon says 'you viewed the voucher so we can't refund, trade or exchange" - but you couldn't find out you were being gouged by the merchant UNLESS YOU VIEW THE VOUCHER and started the redemption process! I've been up and down with Groupon customer service, with no change in outcome... very disappointed, and I will be sharing with anyone who will listen!

I live in Canada got the deal for a hotel in Canada - Niagara Falls and Groupon charges me in US dollars? I could have just called the hotel direct and booked cheaper. When I read the fine print showed nothing for Us only said I would pay parking 30 CAD and a couple other CAD were pointed out. When I booked the deal it showed on my receipt $187.00 didn't say CAD or US. I emailed CSR at Groupon they said I should have read the fine print it says US and I say BS so watch yourself with this company they rip you off as if you need to even read fine print to see what you are charge. I will never use them again they danced around all my emails. They even removed the deal from my profile now cause it says nothing about US. I asked them to prove the deal said US and they never got back to me. I have deleted Groupon off my computer and much better off.

I purchased a groupon for use at a local spa. I informed the spa when making the appt. And also in person when I arrived. When I went to pay, I showed the receptionist my groupon voucher. I was told that it could not be validated because I was a repeat customer from 6 months ago. So I had to pay 3X's the amount of the treatment, including cost of the voucher. I had no way of knowing that I could not buy another voucher from the same business I'd used six months previously. Groupon took my money without a hitch. Since then, I have tried multiple times to contact customer service, but I cannot get through and the seller whose service I purchased have washed their hands of the whole situation.

It is not groupon so much that sucks, it is the $#*!ty people that buy from the damn site. They buy something at a bargain price, and they want royal or deluxe treatment. The people that buy from the this site, or any other sites like this, are the $#*!tiest and winiest, and stupidest i have ever encountered. I think that sites like this should be removed, it is bad for business. Most people, never got a good customer from it. Most of these people keep looking for stupid bargains. Groupon, living social, etc, are bad for business.

This the first time i used Groupon and will be the last time. I bought a Delux interior and exterior Detail from groupon. Took my car to get detailed. The guy at the shop told me Groupon just pays him 40% the money i paid groupon for the work I had to pay the difference. I protested and he said I do not have a choice since Groupon will not refund and there is no way I can get in touch with them. After trying to contact groupon i found ot he was right. There i no way to contact groupon costumer service. I am out $90

Tip for consumers:
you don't need groupon you find the items in sale and in my case it would have been cheaper to go directly to the merchant.

I had, in the past, used GROUPON many times, sometimes the voucher would expire and I was just stuck, my bad. This time I purchased one for a beauty school, two of my friends did also. The first one to "try" it left with green hair, they couldn't get the color out, btw, she wanted blonde hair not green. The 2nd one had clumps of hair fall out while she was in the chair, they left a solution on too long. When I contacted Customer Support to request a "credit", not a refund, the reply was, "It can't be bad all the time, just try it" I guess I'm weird, I happen to like my hair and want to keep it! If you have no Customer Support from them, write about it, so they get it. I've unsubscribed and so have my two bald and green haired friends!

I ordered a nice dress for homecoming on July 29 and got it today, August 9th. The time it took to get here was great! However the box was badly beaten up and dented and the dress... first it was wayyyy darker than the picture on ideeli showed. Things were hanging by threads and the hanger was broken. Needless to say, I am returning it tomorrow and hoping to get store credit. I will use up my store credit if I get it and never go back to ideeli again.

For lack to a reservation in an empty restaurant on a Thursday evening, the manager of Bohemia Restaurant in Hackensack, NJ refused to honor our Groupon. He would not refund the face value of our coupon and laughed in my face because this news came after we had eaten a full, if mediocre, dinner.
