For exactly 120 for a couples massage was not reflected on my account. I contacted groupon and gave them the order number in question as well as screenshots of my confirmation email. Instead of inquiring on the issue they refunded a second groupon voucher I bought for a movie ticket in the amount of 26.45 when I paid 29.45 and skipped out on paying my 3 additional dollars. When I contacted them a third time, my email was blocked. I would have been fine calling and explain this issue but there is no customer service number. Beware of the bs. Groupon is sketchy.
We were so excited my husband was given this as a birthday gift…. The extra expenses have been ridiculous… extra $100 each to fly out from Brisbane… extra costs to sit together on flight… car hire for 3 days cause a very basic motel is not near city, beach, etc…. We were not honoured any of our three Friday and Saturday night options… had to fly out on a Thursday… taking away our income (haven't even gone and down $1060)… gosh I hope our bottom of the peeking order destination is worth it!
The deals that you can get from this company are usually pretty good. But for some reason when you go to use it most of the time the purchase you got to use always tells you there is some kind of fine print that only allows this or that, but for some reason the fine print is rarely found. And on top of this it's got to be the worst customer service on the Earth. They tell you to chat to email and other things and leave a message for a call back either by email, or chat and yet even though I have done so nobody ever calls back. Even when I order something and it says it's been processed and a minute later it says refunded, it tells you to call the same number that only has a recording that gives you options on how to resolve your problems. But once you have exhausted all of those options and not have worked so far you are just stuck out. Because nothing gets done. They are also associated with living social which is another place that also has good deals what is the same as Groupon oh, so you can actually not talk to anybody there either. They really need to do something about the customer service it's brutal!
Did not get the item I order. Had an horrible customer service experience where I was hang up once and told that I would be called back also (never happenned)
They said they won't ship to PO boxes. So I put my physical address for UPS. UPS did end up tranfsering it to the local post office which then sent it back to Groupon, I called the post office box and they said if I had included a PO box it would have been delivered. $#*! you groupon! Now they say I can't get the item even when it returns to them and I don't have a camera for the trip I'm about to take to Alaska. WTF!
I recently Purchased a hotel room that was listed as a Gatlinburg, TN property on Groupon. In good faith I purchased two rooms via Groupon. Upon arrival we became aware this property is clearly not in Gatlinburg. It is in a seedy section of Pigeon Forge.
The hotel itself was extremely run down and dirty appearing. The pictures on Groupon's website are profoundly deceptive and look nothing like the hotel. Upon entering the lobby there is a prominent sign stating "No refunds Given for Early Checkout". -- always a reassuring thing to see.
When I mentioned to the lobby clerk that we were expecting a hotel in Gatlinburg she just shrugged her shoulders and handy me the Groupon customer service number.
Groupon customer service was extraordinarily unhelpful in resolving this issue. They told me no credit would be given because cancellation was within 72 hours of check-in. They told me to read the fine print next time. The fact that they sold me something in a clearly deceptive way (like listing the hotel under a different city) was completely irrelevant to them.
We did not check in or stay at this hotel. I would never put my family in a place like this. -- Dirty, awful, completely unacceptable for a family.
As for Groupon, I'M DONE! They clearly misrepresented this property and could not have been less helpful when trying to resolve the problem. If you're thinking about purchasing through Groupon, do a web search for "Groupon Scam". You will see countless customer complaints pertaining to Groupon misrepresenting the product being sold.

DO NOT BUY AIR DUCT CLEANING ON GROUPON. Your purchase get a scam man to your door, taking a look around your entire home to see everything you own and figure what he can scam you for. I bought a cleaning only to get an estimate of $200+ for them to do anything. I am no truly worried about theft. I asked for a refund and was told I can not seek a refund as I refused the work.

I purchased many Groupons for Christmas and birthday gifts. Due to COVID-19 Coronas course pandemic, the sellers either closed, moved away or died. Groupon refused to refund my money. Instead they issued GROUPON Bucks, holding almost $1000 in cash that I desperately need now to support my family. What good does Groupon Bucks do me? I'd rather have Chuckie Cheese Bucks, at least with those I could feed my kids! No customer service, live chats end if they don't like what you request, no email responses, and telephone is impossible for getting a live voice. If you try to work around the menu, they block telephone numbers and emails. They are a RIP OFF!

Sent me a damaged dress. Told me I could exchange it, and then by the time they got back to me they told me they ran out. How could they run out when the sale has been over for weeks? I SMELL BS! Unless other people are trying to exchange their damaged dresses. It wouldn't surprise me. BAD QUALITY CONTROL
Plus, I always feel like I'm getting some generic run-around response from them. They never put their name on their e-mails, so I am probably talking to several different reps that don't even read the previous e-mails, nor do they give a sh^t. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE
I have ordered through Groupon in past but NEVER again... I had items in cart and before checking out and authorizing transaction, I had a PROMO code to apply, I input code in promo box area and clicked apply, nothing was applied, INSTEAD it charged my card that I used a year ago in which I did not authorize to have saved to my Groupon account. I feel this is scam, c'mon Groupon especially at time like this. PLUS there is no way I can reach anyone from your company due to this pandemic. So you have lost a customer indefinite.
I didn't learn my lesson soon enough and bought several hundred dollars worth of goods and services before I accepted how INFERIOR their products and services. ALL the items of clothing I purchased were cheap and I had to discard them. I lost money with a company called Rose Farmers because of their deceptive advertising. The Blood Pressure cuff conked out witin a month! Customer service consists of Bots and/or agents that communicate LIKE Bots. Groupon tries hard not to refund your money in USD preferring instead to issue Groupon Bucks...what a laugh! Thereby FORCING you to order MORE of their Swill. Right now, I am terminally ill and they have once AGAIN refused to refund my money, instead trying to coerce me to purchase more Rubbish with their Play money. I REFUSE! They can keep it, and I will try my best to educate as many people about them until I die
I ordered a Nintendo 3DS for a really great deal: included a game and everything. After about 2 weeks of hearing nothing, I sent an email to them. They said the person they are getting them from ran out and they have no clue when they will be sending out more. Thankfully I was offered a full refund which will be credited back to my credit card. Still, that is taking a few days, and you would think Groupon could keep up with their own inventory.

Purchased the teeth whitening kit in June it is nearly august now I still have not received my item, I have called up several times regarding this matter each time they say it will arrive the following week. NO IT STILL HASNT ARRIVED! Worst customer service ever, awful company, all I ask for is a full refund how bloody hard is that?
I placed an order at the beginning of December and received it - everything OK in this respect. However, the customer service is extremely slow to respond to e-mails and there is no live chat available really although there seems to be - I tried twice during their working hours, waited patiently starting as a 4th or 6th customer and when there was only one person left they informed me that the average waiting time is about 7 minutes. And when it was finally my turn, I received a notice that there was no agent available to talk to me. Plus they no longer ship international orders (in spite what it says on their web site). When in my homecountry one of such selling sites offering flash sales stopped operating, they first waived flash sales so only outlet items were sold for a while before they closed the site completely. And the return policy of Ideel is a scam compared to European businesses where returns are governed by state laws not by moods of particular companies. I am sure there are plenty of other trustworthy sites to shop from.
So two stars because the merchandise was what I ordered (luckily) - but the items were not part of flash sales.

I'm writing this minutes after receiving my package. I have to admit, I was extremely skeptical of my transaction after reading this site last week. I had a full order placed in the shopping cart and then chose to abandon it after reading numerous bad reviews. BUT, a few days later I found two items that were must-haves and I was willing to take my own risk.
I order a sweater that I've always wanted, and boots that I've owned previously but wore them to the brim! I was even more skeptical because my order would be non-returnable--fearing that something could be wrong with the product since I subjected myself to read multiple bad reviews.
BUT ALAS! Items shipped in 6 days... I'm wearing them... no explosions yet. The boots fit differently than the ones I owned last year (which makes me speculate maybe Ideeli gets the WOMP overstock of brands) but that's okay. The sweater is warm and stylish.
All in all, I've had a great experience. I enjoy their website, I think graphically it has a better lay-out than Rue La La. I will definitely shop there again.

Despite websites stating clearly that events have been canceled due to Covid-19 and that refunds will be issued from the point of sale, the customer service refused. The Extraordinary Event Policy means nothing, the buyer takes all the risk for scams or problems. The customer service is crap, this company is scummy. 0/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND.
The deals always look great, but I got terrible deals once in a while, e.g. the product quality was inferior. But just not my luck. They tried their best.
Have purchased from Groupon several times and would recommend as I've never had any problems! I wish I didn't have to use 100 strokes as I'm not that talkative.
Here's my experience.
My teenage daughter got taken in with the pictures of pretty dresses and the reasonable prices. We ordered 2 dresses and it would be about 3 weeks before we received them. She was very excited to receive them but we noticed right away that the cardboard box was damaged. What is the worst that could happen to the dresses, we thought and opened them only to find that the dresses had little holes in them and one of them had a stain. These were at best seconds!
She was quite heartbroken as she had saved up for these summer dresses and was looking forward to wearing them to school.
We called and set up a return which was painless but now we see that all we got was a store credit even though the items we received were defective.
I filled out their Ask A Question form asking for a full refund and got acknowledgement but nothing more since then.
My option at this point seems to be to dispute the charge on my credit card.
Let this be a warning to everyone - It is easy to set up a website with pretty pictures but you never know who you are dealing with or what you are buying. Our only defense is the credit card companies.

Worst customer service ever. They do not want to ask refund money back. Want you to used Groupon Cash. There's no call center email or chat. No Manager available.
Through Groupon, we purchased a package of two nights at the Adams Mark Hotel in Kansas City, MO that included 4 passes to their attached water park and $25 arcade credit each day. When we arrived, the hotel told us that Groupon only authorized our 2 night stay and did not authorize the 4 daily water park passes and $25 daily arcade play. We arrived on Thanksgiving night during an ice storm and the hotel did not have a supervisor to talk to, but they said 3 other families had checked in with the same problem, so we figured we would check it out in the morning. I immediately contacted Groupon. They were initially nice, but said we did not purchase the correct package. I then provided them proof from their own website that showed Groupon's claims were incorrect. After this, they refused to respond to us any longer. Our first room at the Adams Mark Hotel had numerous problems. The shower/tub in the bathroom looked like a bigfoot had vomited in it. We also found hair ties on the counters with others hair in them. We were given another room, but it lacked some furniture and wall art. Although it was a "non-smoking" room, it smelled like a cigar bar when we turned on the heat. The TV lacked many advertised channels. Others had such poor reception that they were not worth watching. On our second day, the hotel was without any electricity or heat for at least 4 hours. It was an awful experience over the Thanksgiving holiday. Groupon was no help whatsoever. They don't care and don't deliver on even the most basic level.
I used to use Groupon all the time, but lately the "deals" have not been of the same quality as when they started. I've unsubscribed from their emails because it's just not for me anymore.

Bought a First Aid course through Groupon supplied by Vetcorp. The night before the course Vetcorp emailed me saying that I should have read the 8 hours worth of literature attached by now to enable me to pass the course. Suffuce to say it was the first email I'd recieved and I needed those 8 hours to sleep before the course so I phoned Vetcorp that evening. After 3 calls to Vetcorp they called mid morning the next day saying she did not get my 2 previous calls. Hmmn... Vetcorp declared their innocence and said they would call me back after investigating. -No reply after 16 days. I also emailed Groupon 16 days ago asking for a refund also - no reply! Funny thing was Groupon sent me a survey a week ago asking what I though of their service, I replied that it would be nice if they replied to customers emails sent to their "support" department. Still waiting, I've just sent another email today, 3rd time lucky methinks.
