For exactly 120 for a couples massage was not reflected on my account. I contacted groupon and gave them the order number in question as well as screenshots of my confirmation email. Instead of inquiring on the issue they refunded a second groupon voucher I bought for a movie ticket in the amount of 26.45 when I paid 29.45 and skipped out on paying my 3 additional dollars. When I contacted them a third time, my email was blocked. I would have been fine calling and explain this issue but there is no customer service number. Beware of the bs. Groupon is sketchy.
We were so excited my husband was given this as a birthday gift…. The extra expenses have been ridiculous… extra $100 each to fly out from Brisbane… extra costs to sit together on flight… car hire for 3 days cause a very basic motel is not near city, beach, etc…. We were not honoured any of our three Friday and Saturday night options… had to fly out on a Thursday… taking away our income (haven't even gone and down $1060)… gosh I hope our bottom of the peeking order destination is worth it!
A great website to find good sales on practically anything from clothing items to vacation getaways. I recently booked a vacation resort on here, and got much more than what I actually paid for.
I ordered the FAVI LED PROJECTOR & 100" SCREEN BUNDLE from GROUPON. The only reason I ordered it was because of the screen combo. I never received the screen and it does not mention the screen on the shipping receipt. I contacted Groupon and advised them I did not receive the screen. Their response was they cannot provide the screen but they would give me $5 in groupon bucks. I advised them this was unacceptable and requested a supervisor to call me back. No contact to date form a supervisor and it has been over a week. It appears Groupon was aware they did not have the screens and sold the orderes anyway. Very deceptive business practices and false advertising. Groupon has gone downhill in my opinion and I will not be doing business with them any more.

I love groupon... like anything else online you must do your homework to know hat you are getting into. You must also realize that companies that promote a coupon generally are in one of three catagories... 1. they are a new business 2. They are a business on the verge of closing or 3. A successful business that wants to debut a new product or service. The goal of groupon from a business point of view is to get you there and show you their company with the hopes that you will like it so much that you will return and pay full price or tell someone about your experience. Many times with a new business they don't have things in order to be successful and with a business that is on the verge of closing you may not be able to save them and you will have a lousy experience. If you buy from groupon keep these things and check reviews or look at their website before investing a lot of $ into it. Because of groupon, my boyfriend and I have been able to afford things like white water rafting, zip lining, hang gliding, a zip roller coaster, going to the aquarium, eating out at our new favorite restaurant, eating at our old favorite restaurant and even the giant swing. It has opened the world to new adventures for us.
I've been the Ideeli customer since May 2013, but recent experience with this online retail was horrible. I've ordered 3 items few weeks ago (#*******) and found out that the size (4) were too big for the 2 items (Please note that I've ordered another item with the same brand few months ago with size 4 which it fits fine with me). I requested to exchange, but got rejected. They allow me to return (by making the return label for me) so that I can reorder smaller size (2). However, the return label didn't include both of the items I requested. I've asked the online chat support and he told me that one of the item is a final sale and can't be returned. I wasn't aware of this. When I request for my current credit to be return to my credit card because I wouldn't want to shop here anymore. It was rejected too because it was from a price match courtesy. When I asked if I can escalate my request to someone else and he told me that he is already a senior rep. So it seems that I'm stuck with the items that don't even fit me. I never rate bad about anyone's business but this one. :(
Groupon is a scam! They rip the merchants off more than half of the deal they are providing for the consumer and then expect the merchant to to go backwards to provide them the best quality services! As a merchant we absolutely want to provide the best for every consumer but we can't afford to do it for free. The consumer is being ripped off and so is the merchant. Groupon is taking money away from both parties! They talk around in circles and never give a straight answer on the problem! I don't recommend anyone ever working with this company. I've had nothing but problems! The consumers seem to have tons of problems qgetting clear information on what they are buying especially if you are able to buy several different groupons and packages that are at the same location. The merchant gets paid for "supplies" that's a load of crap because they can't even keep track what they owe and when or if they even paid the merchant! If you see a tempting deal contact the business first and work directly with them!
While the atmosphere was nice, the food was not. The size of dishes (huge) and their presentation made the food less appetizing. The quality of the steak was not prime as advertised.
I LOVE groupon, however it is getting frustrating that some of their businesses don't even have enough time slots to fill the demand from the groupons sold! I bought the mani-pedi coldada from Pink and White nail salon, I just tried to book today and they said they only had a time slot for the manicure portion. I could not make one of two time slots offered on a friday afternoon so the receptionist offered a 10% discount on future services. Ummmm, NO THANKS, I already paid $30.00 for a service that I will not be able to get I doubt that I want to go spend $60.00 more to actually recieve my service. Bottom line is you can get some great deals on groupon just be prepared to use them RIGHT AWAY or you may loose more than you save!
You get what you pay for. Ordered over ten groupons, and up until now have not had an issue. I will say that much of the deals are not the best, but that is not Groupon's fault.
I ordered product on 1/22/2016 and after 2 wks still not arrived. They keep on saying its on the way not sure, if it had a leg it would have arrived. Dont order from them. Not reliable
I purchased a Synergy Cellulite (Physicians Weight Loss- Manassass, VA) Groupon this time last year. They offered an extended plan at the rate of $1300. 00 which included about 30 treatments over a year. Unfortunately, about the same time my mother had to have two knee replacement surgeries during the year which caused me to spend weeks on end in SC. I ended up not using 9 of the treatments before the contract expired. I acknowledge that I should have been more diligent to complete the treatment but life got in the way. I asked them on 11 August to give me until the end of month August to complete the treatment but the said NO because the contract ended on 1 August. Here is my rub, they were INITALLY unwilling to meet on any middle ground. I had to call several times before actually being able to speak with the office manager but by that time I was so upset at their lack of customer service and being given inaccurate information that I really did not want their technician performing such an intimate procedure on me. They offered to allow me to squeeze in as many treatments as I could get done over the next 11 days (end of month) but I opted to just walked away. Don't sign up for additional treatments because it is not worth the cost and you will be out of luck if you miss them.

Scenario 1 - Gifted a Groupon to Great Wolf Lodge day pass in April 2022. I went to use it in August and was notified the groupon expired but inidcated "The Amount Paid will NEVER expire." I contacted groupon and asked how I could apply the amount to the service and they told me if I cannot provide the card info that was used to purchased the groupon then they cannot help me and cannot apply any amounts. If a groupon is sent as a gift then I would think groupon would have processed in place to address this... I am able to provide the friend's name that purchased it the groupon # and code but groupon is telling me they will not honor the amount that will never expire.
Scenario 2 - Purchased Monster Jam tickets for my son's 5th birthday but the seat numbers never appeared on our tickets. We tried to get in touch with a groupon person and they essentially ended the conversation with us. We finally called ticketmaster who went above and beyond and tried to locate our groupon tickets essentially doing groupon's job and honoring it somehow and left us tickets at the front desk. Groupon was not willing to help in anyway.
After my last two experience, I will not purchase or buy another groupon. If you asked to speak with someone they either end the online chat or indicate they will get in touch with you in 24 hours (they didn't ask for my contact). Thanks for taking customer's money and not honoring the deals.
I booked a stay for the weekend for my family and three out of the five us came down with and upper resp. Infection. I contacted groupon and brought up the help concern in order to change my reservation and refused to help me. Why would i want to go to a resort with a contagious virus and spread it? For a company that issues all kinds of people focused messages, their NOT IN TUNED a bit. If I tell you that there is a health issue and i need to CHANGE not CANCEL a reservation try and be accomodating. They flat out refused and said to call the resort. The resort refused to help me as well. DONT USE GROUPON TO BOOK and kind of hotel stays.
I have to agree with other reviewers... sometimes great products and good prices, but what does it matter when you never receive the item you ordered?! I ordered a watch that was for some reason non-returnable... in the picture, it looked small, was not listed as a man's watch... on a site that sells mostly womens things, i never thought that what i received would be this large, bulky mans watch that I will never wear! When I inquired about returning it as it was not properly labeled, I was told it was non- returnable! $160 down the drain! In 2010 I ordered a set of bamboo bowls... two or the five bowls arrived, after quite a delay. I waited awhile to see if the others would come before contacting customer "service". When I finally did, I was told I had to return the bowls I had received to receive a refund... they were out of stock of the other items I had ordered. But I wanted the bowls, I'd ordered them for a reason! Despite being on the phone w the cs woman for quite awhile, she still couldn't understand the concept of refunding me for what I didn't receive. I was flabbergasted when she said that I would only be refunded for the portion of the order that I sent back! I yelled How can I send you things I never received! What an idiot! I ended up keeping the 2 bowls & eating my loss. Incredibly terrible customer "service". I'm SO glad to see I'm not alone... if I had known it wasn't just my bad luck with ideeli I would've made a bigger stink!

I had experienced both cons and prons of using this site and mainly dissatisfaction caused me retailers while support of groupon helped me with my complaints.
They clearly haven't monitored who they sell for. My experience with beautybox yate was shocking and now they're refusing to respond to my compliant! Very poor!
Haven't had any problems. Great service. Different deals everyday. They have everything from local to abroad, household, fashion, etc. Watch your wallet
We have done several groupon offers. Here is our experience. Tickets to shows were the worst seats in the house even though the theater was half empty. Just the groupon seats were packed. The show was dress rehearsal quality. Did a manatee snorkle trip which was quite good and easy to schedule. Am still trying to book a scuba experience which has been a nightmare. The business obviously puts groupon customers on the bottom rung. I called the business about ease of scheduling 8 divers before I purchased and got the "Anytime, we'll just extra instructors for your group." response. Since making the purchase they're too busy to schedule more than two at a time and told me if we're not happy take it up with groupon. So analysis up to this point is don't expect anything great. You get what you pay for or worse, but not the outstanding values you might think. There are limitations not printed on the tickets that may make it a bad deal. If the businesses were doing great they probably wouldn't take the huge hit from groupon.
OMG... This is the worst experience and an outright fraud that this company is into.
I ordered some tickets on the 17th of December, for which they guaranteed delivery within 7 days. I called them before ordering and this was confirmed by them.
After ordering (*******S9X), days just kept passing and on every call, they kept on telling the 7 days deadline... even when the deadline was long over:)
I kept checking with them and their courier partner everyday.
And then to my horror, they said that the order has already been delivered?
What? I have used multiple online purchases, and I may have suffered late delievery or defective product, BUT NEVER IN MY LIFE, HAVE I SEEN SUCH OUTRIGHT FRAUD... that the money is taken and the company claiming that the product is delivered.

This site appears to offer high quality goods at discounted prices. Unfortunatey, their customer service is beyond awful. If there is a problem with an item ordered they qualify themselves up the wazoo in terms of whether they will issue refund for defective merchandise, promise to send return shipping labels, and weeks later they have done nothing. Once i WAS able to locate their actual telephone number *******719), and a harried-sounding gentleman finally answered said they were really swamped... (maybe they should hire more help?) they rarely actually answer the phone. When finally you reach someone, they tell you that they will get to the matter the next day. But they don't. They obviously have a lot of preparation and money invested in setting up this business and site; I hope they got on the ball sooner rather than later with their customer service issues or they will be out of business before they can again say "we'll get on it tomorrow..." too bad. For those they've offended, they should offer future discount coupons or free shipping or some kind of appeasement. But nothing is offered but arrogance. Their items look good, but the whole shopping experience with them has been an unneccessarily frustrating and aggravating experience. I.

Groupon has all these "HELP" buttons and when you click them they basically say "We are unavailable" OR the LIVE CHAT feature when you click it it says "UNAVAILABLE". WHY HAVE THOSE HELP BUTTON THERE if they don't even work! I tried purchasing TWO groupon vouchers and when I clicked submit order... only ONE was purchased then it said "SOLD OUT". HOW was I suppose to know how many were LEFT? This is terrible. They need to hire better UX Designers or at LEAST read these freakin comments and change it!

Their service's getting down recently. I'd got $15 credit from their promotion and decided buying something. At starting shipment 9.95$, I asked my friend to share the order. We placed 2 items payment: a 20" spinner and a belt. Money processed.
After 5 days, they asked for Card authorization for the First item to be shipped: the belt. Done. 27 days later, they auto-processed another amount on my CC for 2nd item ( the 20" spinner) but... shipping pending. As many discussing mails were sent to & back, they admitted of that item was no longer available, so they would make up for the inconvenience by crediting my account with $10.
Problem now is, after one month of 1st item shipped, money had been captured, included of full price payment plus $9.95 shipping, couldn't been partly released. In a dozen email I asked them to refund me $15 promoted credit into my account. They at last give me credit $15, but then cut off the 10$ convenience upwards!
I'm not in US, my CC issued bank system just release unclear fund after 33-40 days. The initial placed order amount $119.93 had just been back to my bank account 3 days ago (after 37days). Until today I've received a belt (of my friend) at 19.94$, but my bank account still was minus $119.93. Yesterday, Ideeli sent me void receipt of $87.99. And I have to ask and insist them to return me $15 from bank credit to website credit. It's so humor, isn't it? I have the feeling like being stolen & cheated

I purchased an item last year, November 25,2016. It was a watch. On November 27,2016, I got an email saying the watch shipped via FedEx and was given the tracking number. I was told it would arrive in 4-7 business days. This was a Christmas gift. As Christmas got closer, I never received the item. I have been in contact with many people and I was told that they "ran out of stock" and they would refund the money. I said I wanted what I paid for so they told me to wait and they would get more in stock but it may take a while. It was sad that I didn't get what I paid for on time and even worse they said it shipped when it never did. Today, September 24,2017 I chatted with Cyrille J and she tried to tell me that FedEx lost the package and she was sorry that FedEx did that. Then, she ended the chat with me! Never gave me a chance to say anything else or resolve the problem! I was first told that it ran out of stock but they would send me one when they received another and today, she told me a different story and tried to blame it on a shipping company when the product wasn't even shipped! What a scam. I will never do business with this company again (I did shop a lot with them) and I will make sure to pass the info along to everyone I know.

Groupon may have good deals, but its not worth the hassle when there is a problem. Customer service is most clearly outsourced outside the U.S. and not readily available. Good luck trying to find a phone number to call. My account was hacked and 3 purchases made all at once. The tracking information was suspicious (the items were shipped before the fraudulent purchases were made). When I contacted them by Live Chat and email, their first response was, "Are you sure someone else you know didn't make these purchases on your account, from an international location?" Uhhh no. What I find most disturbing is that I hadn't signed onto Groupon in over 2 years and yet my credit card information was still stored on my account without requiring some type of security measure or verification of CVV code. I had also moved so you would think it would require the entire credit card information to be reentered like most reputable websites. For these reasons, I would advise consumers to not use Groupon - your credit card is at risk. I was able to catch the purchases before they posted, but I still had to cancel my credit card, what a headache. And beyond frustrating to feel like you are being blamed by Groupon. Research them - thousands of people have had this same problem and Groupon won't admit any wrongdoing when clearing they have a security issue.
All these years I've never been inclined to do group on. My daughter and colleague's always say I'm to try them. I did and set up my account and use my Pay Pal account to make purchases. I printed my coupons and gave them to my daughter to redeem as a pre Birthday gift one to the gun range another to get a massage. My daughter went to the gun range and left her coupon home, (no big deal right, since I thought I had an account). Tried logging no success, did forget password it says I don't have an account. Ok call customer service after waiting for 20 or more minutes when it said 2-4 minutes hold time. Young lady could not find my previous purchases or account. Got disconnected, about 4 hrs later got an email stating that they found my previous purchases and have linked it to my account. Checked the email they linked it to (not my email) I sent another email and asked them to properly link my correct email, they sent a request asking information that is in my previous messages to them. I asked them why do I need to reverify my account when it is there error. I got an email from PayPal telling me that group on refunded my money. I had no conversation with anyone regarding a refund. Y'all don't need to worry about me using y'all service anymore, I'll go back to making my purchases where they value their customers!
