For exactly 120 for a couples massage was not reflected on my account. I contacted groupon and gave them the order number in question as well as screenshots of my confirmation email. Instead of inquiring on the issue they refunded a second groupon voucher I bought for a movie ticket in the amount of 26.45 when I paid 29.45 and skipped out on paying my 3 additional dollars. When I contacted them a third time, my email was blocked. I would have been fine calling and explain this issue but there is no customer service number. Beware of the bs. Groupon is sketchy.

We were so excited my husband was given this as a birthday gift…. The extra expenses have been ridiculous… extra $100 each to fly out from Brisbane… extra costs to sit together on flight… car hire for 3 days cause a very basic motel is not near city, beach, etc…. We were not honoured any of our three Friday and Saturday night options… had to fly out on a Thursday… taking away our income (haven't even gone and down $1060)… gosh I hope our bottom of the peeking order destination is worth it!

I ordered 2 items on June 20th. The first item is expected to ship on July 14th & the other on July 20th. Those are ideeli's guesstimates, trust me they don't have a clue. Please beware that you will not receive your items until approx a month later. They do not divulge this info to you anywhere on their site. Their FAQ page says "Items typically ship within 14 days of when the sale closed" I emailed them & their customer service reps are inept and very contradictory. As well They then told me that he 14 days are so called "business days", unreal & unacceptable period. They also insulted my intelligence by offering me a $15 voucher, what a joke. Bottom line, BUYER BEWARE! You can find tons of other great deep discount sites tout there Several have been mentioned on this thread. If you are on the fence about ordering from ideeli yourself a favor, DON"T. It's not worth the frustration. I am already feed up & I haven't even received my order. I can't wait to see what I actually get if & when I get them.

All these years I've never been inclined to do group on. My daughter and colleague's always say I'm to try them. I did and set up my account and use my Pay Pal account to make purchases. I printed my coupons and gave them to my daughter to redeem as a pre Birthday gift one to the gun range another to get a massage. My daughter went to the gun range and left her coupon home, (no big deal right, since I thought I had an account). Tried logging no success, did forget password it says I don't have an account. Ok call customer service after waiting for 20 or more minutes when it said 2-4 minutes hold time. Young lady could not find my previous purchases or account. Got disconnected, about 4 hrs later got an email stating that they found my previous purchases and have linked it to my account. Checked the email they linked it to (not my email) I sent another email and asked them to properly link my correct email, they sent a request asking information that is in my previous messages to them. I asked them why do I need to reverify my account when it is there error. I got an email from PayPal telling me that group on refunded my money. I had no conversation with anyone regarding a refund. Y'all don't need to worry about me using y'all service anymore, I'll go back to making my purchases where they value their customers!

I am actually pretty surprised at the number of negative reviews of the site... I use ideeli quite religiously, and have had some issuesbut nothing that wasn't easily resolved after a quick online chat with one of the customer representatives. Of course I can't speak for anyone else, but the service provided by the website in my experience has been above and beyond. I love that you only pay once for shipping no matter how many times you check out during the day. And that you can edit your purchase upto an hour and half after making it. The time frame for returns could be slightly more lenient, but it shouldn't be a problem, as long as you can make a decision whether you want it within the first few days of having it. I have not had issues with not being refunded my money when I have made returns, and they always send confirmation emails to notify that they've received the shipment. Moreover since its a ups label, you can track the package until it arrives at the ideeli warehouse. As to ideeli running out of stock, this has happened to me once or twice, but I've never been charged for any item they could not ship to me, and have always received a 25 dollar store credit, which I find makes up for the inconvenience. All in all, I recommend ideeli to all my friends--its a great, simple way to find bargain pieces that are unique.

We use Groupon often for restaurants and services and usually feel it is a savings.
Not so with a recent purchases for moving services and Groupon did not back us using the 'read the small print' claim.

All the savings of buying 2 hours of truck packing services from Atlanta Pro Movers was lost when they added a $50 charge (the fee that goes to Groupon) for "mileage, (we were 2 miles away), 'OK then it for packing & supplies (we had it all packed & wrapped, " OK then it is for insurance" ($50 for two hours of insurance?). Then we were made to watch a video that clearly said they had to do everything their way, don't help, don't hand them anything or even speak to them. Then 2 young guys sauntered back and forth sometimes the one just followed the other not carrying anything. They were amicable enough but worked very slowly and seemed to be in a happy dream like state (hmm) Of course they didn't fiinsh in the two hours and of course but offered to stay for $125 each extra hour. No thanks.

Groupon's response at first was "that's not right" but later said we should read the small print which indicated additional charges for mileage, packing or insurance could apply and should add they will negate any savings of the Groupon.

Buyer beware and check with the company before purchasing the Groupon - often they will give you the Groupon price without purchasing a Groupon and you both will enjoy the savings. One star to Groupon for this purchase for no savings and one star to Atlanta Pro Movers for poor service to upsell and hidden fees.

Tip for consumers:
Check with the vendor directly - they may give the same price without purchasing a Groupon instead of adding fees to recoup their commission to Groupon Atlanta Pro Movers is not a good value regardless.

Would not reccoment this site to anyone. Very unprofessional. They rather loose a costomer than fix a problem. Will never shop there again neither my family and friends. Very dissapointed

I bought the Featless Chic Beauty Restoration Spa facial. I went into it not expecting very much. I was fairly sure that it would be a scam or sorts. I was more than pleasantly surprised! I received an hour long facial and it was amazing! I had been feeling so stressed and this is just what I needed to help me get out of my funk! From the very second I walked in the staff were friendly and super nice! Tiana was the staff member who gave me the facial. It was pure heaven! From the soft music, to the lighting, to the extra hand and shoulder massages! Trust me as skeptical as I was this place blew my
Mind in a good way! Not only am I going back here but I plan on going back weekly. I loved every second of this! Well worth the price which was very cheap. Initially the cheap price was the thing that age me skeptical. I am telling all of you to go and try this place it is amazing! I would also suggest you ask for Tiana because she made this experience magical for me!

We recently purchased a hotel room in Aspen through Groupon. We paid for it up front as is required to "get the deal". We traveled to our destination with 2 kids 5 hours. When we tried to check in to the hotel they told us they did not have our reservation to contact Groupon. The hotel further told us they did not have any rooms available anyway, they were sold out. We contacted Groupon and you have to try to chat with them on the phone you get NOWHERE. They wrote us an e-mail giving us a refund and said they were sorry. They left us stranded with no solution to their screw up. With 2 kids and after traveling 5 hours we had no choice the cheapest room we found on the spot we found was 3 times more than we had booked but we had no choice they left us stranded. Groupon has no guarantees for what they sale, sales are NEVER final, they are false advertising. They say Ibam sorry at nauseum but in the en all they do is give a refund. Imagine if you are far from home, they gave us a coupon for $100 to spend with them. As if you want to buy from them again. Customer service amounts to I am sorry emails with no solutions NOTHING.

It's Ridiculous they are very big cheater they always cheated customer and kept the Money they even not bother to deal with customer... Guys don't buy the deal or any product they are using very cheap tactics to sell products these products are damaged and corrupted if you wish then... i had a very horrible experience... Never buy anything from group-on... i had purchase the product from groupon and when i found that it's Fake then I contacted Groupon immediately and they are saying that they will revert us within two days and after few days that you had redeemed the voucher already and when i asked vendor they said that groupon redeemed the voucher... when i ask fro my refund they are totally denying this and ask me to contact vendor and vendor says contact groupon... they are behaving like government offices just blaming each other

My friends had personally check with all deals he reported that all the products and deals they are offering are fake and not up to quality he is working with some agencies which used to check with these sites

I feel like Groupon advertises itself to have amazing bargains for every day things, however it's not always true and sometimes, the price can be about the same as Amazon or eBay. And if that's the case, there's really no incentive to purchase those goods here since the shipping takes forever, while Amazon or eBay could be faster. I definitely know Prime shipping is quicker for most items. I definitely purchase and use vouchers, because those actually are really good discounts. I think if you book vacations and use vouchers, this website has a lot to offer.

However, for normal goods and products, I feel like they aren't competing much with other websites. The return policy is a bit iffy although I never had to return anything; please read their policies carefully to avoid problems. I spoke with customer service about two times and one of two times wasn't as helpful as I expected.

I want to support local businesses, however a lot of the deals or discounts are run by businesses that scam you. For example, a place that does lash extensions provided a deal on Groupon with a value of $25. Nowhere does it mention any other fee, until you go to the location and they tell you that there's an additional charge of another $20-25. This is misleading and shouldn't be allowed. While I can see this isn't Groupon's fault entirely, it's still misleading and they shouldn't allow businesses to do that.

Ordered a Fujifilm FinePix F660 Digital Camera for £99.95 on the 5th Decemeber, which I still haven't received. I feel this is a result of bad service from Jessops as well as Groupon. Jessops tried to deliver on the 14th december, but Groupon hadn't provided them with my house number, so the camera was returned to the depot. Nobody contacted me, and it was only when I specifically went to visit my university house I realised it wasn't just delayed due to busy christmas postage. Jessops are sending it out now, but they've both proved fairly unreliable. This is my second bad experience with groupon and their communication with other companies. I wouldn't really recommend.

Their customer service sucks. They give you the run around. NOT honest bout refund process. ONLY GROUPON CREDIT. Will be deleting the App, ASAP. Also give warning to anyone who shops on this site.

My account was deactivated then I received emails saying my groupons were refunded for no absolute reason they denied reactivating my account most horrible experience I've had purchasing online.

I have had several negative experiences with Groupon. I have been deceived, lied to and given the run around.
I bought a large tv for $850, that was advertised as refurbished. When I called the manufacturer regarding a warranty repair, I was told that it was NOT refurbished. In fact it was a previously purchased item that had been returned. There was NO WARRANTY because it was a used item!
Another time, I purchased vouchers for massages. When I attempted to schedule an appointment to use them, I was informed that there would be an additional "Service Fee" in addition to the vouchers!
I contacted Groupon and complained and was issued a refund.
I also purchased a "Refurbished" iPhone. First they sent the wrong phone. I contacted Groupon, and all they would do is credit my account if I returned it. I insisted that I did NOT want a refund, I wanted it replaced! That was not their policy, so after speaking with three more people, I was suppose to get a replacement. When I received it the headphone jack was so dirty it wouldn't function. Then it started going dead at any time, regardless of the battery level. Again, I tried to return it for a replacement, and again I was offered a refund rather than a replacement. I was to get a refund and re-order the item for $60 more!
As I said in the beginning; Groupon - a good idea gone bad!

They are scammers and stole my money. I purchased a $10 Shell gas station gift card for $4, because I thought, "Wow, that's a great deal!... almost too good to be true!" And it was. I assumed I'd be able to print the gift card voucher as soon as I purchased it, but then I read the "fine print" which said that they must ship to you and require 7-15 business days to deliver. After a month went by and I still hadn't received my card, I sent an email to *******@groupon.com to check the status. After the idiot customer service agent (Rits K.) needed clarification on whether a month was longer than 15 business days, she/he finally verified my shipping address and again told me to wait up to 15 business days. It has now been over 2 months since I purchased the card and I still don't have it, nor do I have any response or solution from Groupon. I realize that it's only $4, and that the amount is very insignificant. I am angry that Groupon is taking advantage of people this way, by advertising deals that are too good to be true, then steal their customers' money, and never deliver what was promised. I have filed a complaint with the BBB, and I'm sure that I will eventually get my $4 refunded, but my trust and respect for the Groupon company is now non-existent and I will never buy from them again. BEWARE!

Make of it what you will, but here is the story. My wife booked a hotel under her name. After doing so and paying, she got the hotel info that said because it was a casino hotel, it had to be under someone's name who is over 21. So she called Groupon to have them change the reservation to my name. They said they would, then we later got an email saying that they were changing it. This was shortly after initially booking it, and within their "refund" time. Our stay was a couple months after. When we arrived, the hotel still had the reservation under her name, and being 19 we couldn't check in. This was on a Sunday and Groupon customer service was closed. So we had to check in under a new reservation. The next morning we Groupon customer service. They said they would make the change and fax over the change to the hotel within a half hour. Never happened. We called back and the agent told us "yes we did say that we would do that" and then said they would work on it. Still never happened. Multiple calls later they still had done nothing. We ended up paying for the Groupon deal, and for the hotel ourselves. We called Groupon demanding a refund. They said that because we called to have the name changed within the refund time that they would refund us and we would get an email in a couple days with the details. Nothing happened. We called again and they told us that the hotel needed to refund us for our stay, which they couldn't do for obvious reasons (the Groupon reservation was still there and unused). In the end, we were lied to, cheated, and robbed. Never got money back, paid twice for our hotel stay.

THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER.
I purchase an item on Groupon and immediately after; I call the company who has the promo sale on Groupon they told me that the Groupon will not work for me. I immediately call Groupon to refund the purchases I got someone from Philippines, who told me she will take care, after a week it was still on "my Groupon," I called again to Groupon this time I got someone from South Africa, he told me, he will take care of it. The fellowing day I look at the Groupon was still there, so I called again this time it is someone from India the same thing happen.
I called 6 times and each time I get customer care from China, Philippine, South Africa but never in America.
My problem has NEVER get fix except put a bandage to my problem.
I am very disappointed by Groupon respond to this matter.

I purchased tickets at Orlando Universal Park. My voucher stayed pending where I had to repurchase. $600 spent twice in one day because my order never uploaded. The box office at universal couldn't do anything because they needed to see the voucher which was pending and of course Groupon takes 24 hours to respond to messages. I was able to figure out how to do a live chat but they weren't any help. This order stayed pending for a total of 6 days. Eventually my case got transferred to the resolution department where I was refunded 7 days later but it's been tough trying to prove my case and call my bank numerous of times. I advise anyone to purchase tickets from the box office itself. This was a lot of money I wasn't letting go of. And I have never had this type of problem with Groupon ever and I was a loyal faithful customer. Maybe a glitch in their system they need to work on but who knows. They kept telling me to check my cookies on use a computer like how when I'm at an amusement park in line to achieve tickets with my son by my side. I'm happy to have my money back 7 days later but be cautious.

I have recommended this site to friends based upon previous three experiences, but you just need to know what you are in for... don't expect a normal online experience... it is no zappos. I am upset and will not use the website again after this last experience. Found a Furla bag that I loved... ordered it immediately when the sale started. When ordering, website stated that the bag was in stock and ready to ship that day. When selecting shipping, the site offered overnight shipping for extra. I upgraded to overnight - thinking great I will receive it tomorrow. My confirmation email stated that it would ship the day I ordered and be delivered the following day. Well, it did not ship that day. The next day, I checked my order, and it had changed and said that the expected shipping date had now changed. I wanted it before Valentine's Day, and now it has not shipped again. Why would I have upgraded to overnight shipping if I knew that there was a possibility that the website was lying and that it was not available to be shipped immediately? I would rather pay full price and know what to expect. Live chat was no help and actually just frustrated me more. I don't have the time for this website. And, the item is now sold out so I'm sure I will soon be told that there was a processing issue and they will cancel my order. Wish I would have found this review site and read reviews before I started spending my money.

It's possible that there was an issue where inventory stated that this item was available in stock and then when the fulfillment center went to pack it, the item was not in stock. I hadn't had Groupon in a few years and rejoined last month. My spam mails that made it thru my filter jumped to 80-90 per day. Yesterday I cancelled Groupon and my spam mail dropped significantly.

Groupon has their head in their AS*! Horrible customer service. Ordered a t-shirt, they sent to the wrong address without asking for the right address. Then I can talk to Groupon, forced to talk to a "third party vendors" meaning a Chinese based company with NO CONTACT INFORMATION! SO NOW THE PACKAGE IS DELIVERED AND I AM TOLD IF ANF ONLY IF THE PACKAGE IS RETURNES TO THEM, DO I GET MY MONEY BACK. Absolutely bull****. I caught this the VERY next day but because of the way Groupon takes care of their customers, I want able to really be in contact with someone until 4 days in, and a computer emails me, and at 3am. How unbelievably $#*!. Horrible experience and I will NEVER use Groupon again. Save yourself the headache if ANYTHING goes wrong..

I purchased 1 certificate but was charged for 7. Groupon max is 2 for this vendor. Groupon refuses to refund.

Tip for consumers:
Emails to groupon are bot based and just keeps looping same responses with no real assistance.

Hi,

Having read the other reviews, it sounds like GroupOn doesn't really work for the Business or the Customer. The Business loses as it has to offer a significantly reduced price and then loses 50% of any profit. Meanwhile the customer is burnt as they are unable to use their voucher i. E. too many vouchers sold for the appointments available

As a customer of GroupOn this has recently happened to me. I purchased a Brazilian Blow Dry from Ginger Group for £75 (a snip compared to the £200 retail price). However, it is impossible to get an appointment before the voucher date expires. In addition, the voucher was sold on the basis of Mon - Fri, but now the salon tells me the last appt is by 4pm (they close at 8/9pm, depending on salon). My only resort is now to be a 'standby'... I'd say I may as well have just burnt my £75.

The result is that I am extremely disillusioned by GroupOn and extremely annoyed at GingerGroup for having planned this so badly. I certainly won't be giving either my business again in the future.

I would recommend that people treat the GroupOn offers with great care

GROUPON - ISN'T ALL IT SAYS IT IS: I received a promo from Groupon saying 53% off Dallas Mavericks tickets for sections 101/124 row Y for $35 each. Five days later when I received the actual ticket voucher the seats were in section 319 row H which is at the top of AAC. I called Groupon to express my concern and request a credit. I spoke to a rep and supervisor and they both said "NO, nothing we can do." DO NOT BUY TICKKETS FROM GROUPON. ‪#‎baitandswitch‬

GROUPON IS $#*!ING $#*!E. I want to return a watch, you wouldn't have thought it would be so difficult? The watch is fine and i have to admit i got a good deal, however, i have decided i want to return it as its a gift for someone and not quite the one i want. I am completely eligible to return it within 14 days as the returns policy states and its been 7 days and the website continues to tell me 'oops something bad has happened' whenever i click return package. This is SO frustating and i hate it. Do NOT recommend.
