For exactly 120 for a couples massage was not reflected on my account. I contacted groupon and gave them the order number in question as well as screenshots of my confirmation email. Instead of inquiring on the issue they refunded a second groupon voucher I bought for a movie ticket in the amount of 26.45 when I paid 29.45 and skipped out on paying my 3 additional dollars. When I contacted them a third time, my email was blocked. I would have been fine calling and explain this issue but there is no customer service number. Beware of the bs. Groupon is sketchy.
We were so excited my husband was given this as a birthday gift…. The extra expenses have been ridiculous… extra $100 each to fly out from Brisbane… extra costs to sit together on flight… car hire for 3 days cause a very basic motel is not near city, beach, etc…. We were not honoured any of our three Friday and Saturday night options… had to fly out on a Thursday… taking away our income (haven't even gone and down $1060)… gosh I hope our bottom of the peeking order destination is worth it!
I purchased a groupon from Groupon. When I went to redeem it, I thought hitting the redeem button would set forth a series of web sites so I could complete my order. Ha! First of all, the Groupon number is only designated by a "#" sign. Reading the screen, you have no idea what that number is.
So I sent an e-mail to Groupon customer support and asked what number do I use? They sent me the BAR CODE number, which of course, was rejected by the business site.
I finally found Groupon's phone number (of course, it's nowhere on their website) in my "Welcome to Groupon E-Mail" when I first registered. I telephoned and the person could not get my e-mail address right; turns out I have TWO accounts with different e-mail addresses; they could find my credit card on one, but no groupons. The other address had my groupon but no credit card. Unbelievable. The woman who helped me was overly talkative and very defensive.
I wouldn't reccommend Groupon -- their web site is terribly designed and it's difficult to redeem a groupon. This took 3 hours of my valuable time to deal with this matter. Shame on this web site. Shame shame shame.
I purchased a very straightforward, detailed offer for duct cleaning services. I called to schedule and the guy refused to honor the Groupon, completely rewriting the terms and tripling the cost. I called the company that he was supposedly affiliated with and the company indicated he had been fired many months prior and was using Groupon to drum up business for himself with a bait & switch type operation. I contacted Groupon, described the issue and requested a refund. Groupon stated they couldn't give a refund, jumbled some nonsensical stuff in there about COVID-19 and apologizing for the "inconvenience". I made it clear (again) this had nothing to do with COVID-19 and it wasn't an inconvenience, it was fraud. They were super sorry, but couldn't do anything about it other than issue a Groupon credit. NEVER USE GROUPON! This situation should never happen with any company. If you pay for something with clear terms, you should either get it or get your money back. This is a horrible horrible company.
The current Groupon with Vistaprint is a total ripoff. When you use the "special" url, the price is increased by about $20
I was a long-time groupon & vistaprint customer, but this is ridiculous.
I purchased two Groupons for 8"x6" photo books in April. After spending hours creating my first book on-line, I could not submit the Groupon voucher code on the payment page. I wound up paying full price for my first book just to be able to receive it. Then I waited over two months to receive it because the company ran out of supplies. PrinterPix continued to e-mail me weekly ads. Calling customer service kept me waiting for 30 minutes for a representative one time and two other times, I gave up waiting on a phone call for over 30 minutes.
When I asked Groupon for on-line help using the vouchers, they replied with a Q&A stock answer which did not help at all because I had repeatedly done exactly what they said to do to apply the voucher to my order and it did not work. I contacted Printerpix by e-mail and waited and waited and waited for an acknowledgement. I did this twice over a period of time and finally got a stock answer from them which did not apply the voucher redemption code when I followed their instructions. Fed up, I paid full price for the two books I had Groupon vouchers for just to get the product, but I will NEVER use this PRINTERPIX again and have reservations about using Groupon, also
Groupon will not honor their guarentee that if you are not pleased they will refund your money. We will never use Groupon agani and would caution others so they will not be disappointed.
I purchased play tickets on Aug 3 for a show on Sept 17. I purchased early so I could get a good seat but I was never able to print out my ticket. By the end of August I started to email and call to find out why, that's when I was informed that I would not be able to print my ticket until the day of the show. I asked for a refund since it had been a month and I still did not have the product that I purchased. I wanted to just go to the ticket office website and purchase a ticket at full price so I could go to the show but I was told that I could not get a refund and the only thing that I could do is give the ticket away but they would not issue me a refund. The only thing I could do is wait. The day before the show I went back to groupons website to see if I could print the tickets only to find that they canceled the offer and refunded all the tickets with no explanation. The tickets are no longer available and I can not see the play that I've waited so long to see. I believe groupon sellers sells the tickets and makes you wait to print the actual tickets to see if they will sell them at full price. If they don't, groupon ticket holders will get the seats that's left over, and if they do sell all of the seats at regular price then the groupon ticket holders are just out of luck. That's what I think happens.
Dont buy any coupans becasue its a tricky ammount and after that seller need more money and if u cancel
The coupan atleast wait 7 day for refund so dont waste your money and time
If you purchase services:
> I have purchased several services thorugh Groupon and
>> The companies tend to be rude to Grouponers
>> The cleaning services rarely want to compeltely honor offer or fail to provide decent service.
> I recently purchased two different products from Groupon and it has taken 15 days JUST TO SHIP.
I have purchase a voucher for the hydroteck shower water filter ref No; 11/4814

I've only bought one Groupon coupon and I got poor value for money although - to be fair - I got exactly what was promised, no less, no more. The small print of the Groupon Offer needs to be studied very, very carefully as my feeling is that if the offer can be disadvantageous to the punter, it will be.
In my case I paid £28 for a £100 voucher to be used at Boyd's Brasserie in London. It was to cover, for two people, a three course meal and one Cocktail each. When I phoned Boyd's before buying the Groupon voucher I was told that the £100 voucher would be offsettable against the full bill, but in the event it wasn't. The bread, wine, chips and coffee were all extra and cost £30. So, two problems: (1) It wasn't even possible for two people choosing from the menu to spend £100 on a three course meal and a cocktail - so that aspect is a con (2) The total paid for the evening out was almost £60 for decent food and drink but such dreadfull service (our Cocktails arrived at the same time as our first course; our bread arrrived with the second course; etc, etc) that we would never consider returning while there were any other restaurants in the vicinity to try.
Moral: Groupon isn't necessarily bad for you but only buy their coupons with your eyes wide open - and still suspect that you are about to get tucked in some way or other.
I am a long-time Groupon user for everything from tools and pillows to vacations and massages.
They have been on a steady downhill run for YEARS now and it has finally simply fallen to scam purchases.
They offer "coupons" like a $40 flower delivery for $20 (shipping included). When you arrive to blooms.com they add another $27 to your purchase and you are only allowed to select from 6 different (cheap) bundles anyway. Saving less than $5 for a huge voucher headache and crappy selection.
Even their vacations SUCK now and include 36-hour layovers at random airports. WHAT KIND of vacation package includes a 36-hour layover in Memphis with no hotel accommodations?
They allow sellers to brazenly SCAM customers and even after h8undreds of 1-star complaints continue to sell the scam groupons.
The customer service is about as incompetent as copy/paste customer service as you can get. Asking for screenshots of the issue in response to you emailing screenshots (not even reading the emails, just the SAME copy/paste response over and over until you go away).
Groupon used to be a decent place to get great deals on services and goods. Now it is just a place to advertise "fake sales" (advertising a $50 item as a $100 item with a $50 discount when it is $30 on Amazon), SCAM services (companies that will not allow you to redeem the coupon), horrible vacation packages (massive layovers), and to top it all off the most incompetent customer service that I have ever dealt with.
I feel cheated! Just left the salon after forking out more $ on top of the groupon I bought. The deal says intensive hair treatment + hair cut worth over $250, I paid $35. Good deal? I waited a month for the appt n was grossly disappointed at the venue. The salon ( white house at orchard central) was one messy one w towels piling at one corner. The hair dresser assessed my hair n recommended I top up another $50 for dandruff treatment. " You have serious dandruff problem." said the hair stylist. Where?! I dun even see a speck of it. She claimed it was at the back of my head where I can't see it. I declined her politely. She then said in order for the treatment which I paid for to work, I hv to top up a $20 for the use of the steaming machine. I know for a fact that intensive treatment need heat to penetrate into the hair follicles, but how could the salon sell the treatment without the machine? It's like buying a car n paying extra for wheels!
I am having post partum hair loss, as the stylist was washing my hair, she commented on it. She hit my soft spot. Now she claimed the earlier dandruff treatment can also help my scalp. I bargained down to $40 from the initial $50.
I was appalled when she showed me the mirror after my hair cut. It had a lot of raw edges! I have a simple bob straight hair, nothing fanciful. It took her 3 tries to improve on it, but still I can't live with this. I m gg to my usual hair stylist Tmr.
After $75 poorer, I feel depressed and cheated. If its too good to be true, it's def so!
For those who have yet to redeem ur voucher, u may want to ask for a refund fr groupon.
These guys are horrible. I placed an order for sandals and a tank top. 3 weeks later, they still hadn't arrived. I "live chatted" with someone at Ideel, and they said they couldn't locate the package, so they were going to open a ticket. 3 days later a package arrived to an old address (even though I had updated mine) and I had to drive to go get it. Fine, whatever. When I opened the package, the sandals were cheap and tacky, and the tanktop? Nowhere to be found. So I returned the sandals and again "live chatted" with customer service. Again, they had no idea where they were, and couldn't tell me why they were shipped separately, so they opened another ticket. 10 days go by and I don't hear anything about receiving my return or my missing package. I email them again asking if they had received the sandals and if they had found my package. A day later they tell me the package must have been lost in transit, so they'd credit me the money. At this point, I didn't want a credit. I just wanted my money back. They said they wouldn't refund my money, only a store credit, even though THEY didn't provide the item I purchased. Another order I placed about 3 weeks ago has yet to ship, but they tell me I'm not allowed to cancel an order. I'll be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, and anyone who will listen. DO NOT buy anything from Ideel. The items are cheap, they arrive late (if at all) and you'll never see your money again.
Overall pleased with Groupon great items at a great price. Occasionally, Orders can take A WHILE, I recommend checking the shipping time before you buy.
I can not speak to a LIVE person, only email or chat and neither will respond back to me. The customer service is HORRIBLE. Good customer service is what promotes your business.

STAY AWAY FROM GROUPON GOODS!
I bought an Akribos watch from Groupon for $55 that Groupon claimed was a $445 watch. When it arrived, it had a big red X on the back. I contacted Groupon to ask if this meant it was a reject, and they basically stonewalled me.
Now, approx 7 weeks post-purchase, the finish has worn off the inside of the watch. One MIGHT expect that on a $55 watch, but on a "$445 watch"? Not so much. When I contacted Groupon, they offered me a refund, but refused to even acknowledge that their supplier (and Groupon) sold a piece of junk to me, saying rather that they "We stand by all of the businesses we feature and the deals we offer""
This is actually a MESSAGE FOR MR. JASON F.
Mr. F, I want to communicate you that I ordered yesterday a dress, but I just realized that I asked a wrong size. I need the size number 2, which is still available in the web site. I sent an e-mail yesterday night to Ideeli asking for you guys to change the size before to send it to me.
But now, that I already read all these bad reviews about Ideeli I am afraid that I will have a bad experience as well. So, here is my message for you Mr. F: If you really sorry for all the mistakes Ideeli did to all these costumers, here you have the opportunity to fix a problem before it comes. I am sending you this message in a public web because I want make sure that YOU will take care of what I already asked. If Ideeli do not give an answer immediately, I will come to this web again and let people know the continuation of my story.
If something goes wrong, I do not want to see a message from you here saying the same thing you said to all these people: "I apologize, I apologize..." If it happen, then it will be more than clear that you just apologize but you do not really move a finger to help anyone.
That is my order number: *******
This is my incidence number: **************
Appreciate any help. Priscila
I give a 1 out of 10 for groupon integrity because they are after how to take money of your account regardless of the integrity of their process. Once the money is taken from your credit card any inconvenience you face is NOT Groupon's problem. The back-end programming should guarantee the process to be completed flawlessly i. E. the Transaction of the payment should NOT be completed until the account creation, email verification is completed without an error, better error handling process should be in place to ensure that the account is successfully created and verified before the payment is processed to avoid any errors on the user end. Right after what I noticed with my account, I deleted my groupon account and uninstalled the groupon app from his phone and WE will NOT use groupon ever again. I also wants this email to be passed on to your Big shot corporate Idiots and your developers.
Thank you being in rush to take our money and Horrible service: I tried to resolve the issue through email and phone but all I heard was NONSENSE.

No offer to replace or ship a new one before the holiday. No offer to even try to fix the mistake. My last time using Groupon.
A groupon appeared in my stuff and they did not want to resolve the issue. Dealing with customer service in India is a nightmare.

Horrible experience! Where do I begin. It was my first time shopping with ideeli so I made sure everything was returnable, once purchased on my confirmation email it stated 2 of the items were nonreturnable and on the printed packaging slip once my items were delivered it stated all 3 were no returnable. Ideeli took care if it and I was able to return all 3. Ideeli's return policy states 2-4 days once they receive your return for it to be processed and for you to receive your refund. Reached out to them on the 5th business day once I still hadn't received my refund, they told me to check back the next day. Checked back and they now told me it would take 5-8 days to receive my refund. On the 7th day after continuously contacting them i finally received a notification that my return was being processed and it would take 3-5 days to see the credit returned to my account. We are now looking at 10-16 business days vs the 2-4 to receive a $100+ refund. Unacceptable. They don't adhere to their written terms.
My husband and I attempted SEVERAL TIMES to visit this eatery. We were successful once, and the Groupon didn't cover our meal. So, we returned SEVERAL TIMES after that, and either the kitchen was closed due to their irregular hours or the restaurant was not open. Even though we Did Not enjoy the flavorless food the first and only time our schedule matched their fluctuating hours, we attempted to return just to get something for the Groupon money we paid. Perhaps Groupon should warn people of places with unpredictable, erractic hours and mediocre menus. Like many others, our time and money have their limits. If I had known it was goung to be a donation, I would have preferred ST. JUDES Hospital.
Groupon is the largest "daily deal" site, selling vouchers for discounted local experiences and services such as restaurants and spas, as well as travel packages, shopping, and a number of other items. Vouchers are purchased upfront and typically must be redeemed by a certain date, after which time Groupons expire. To businesses Groupon markets itself as a way to drive new customers. Groupon is a public company (NASDAQ: GRPN) and is based in Chicago, IL.
Hi Kaitlin,
Thanks very much for taking the time to leave your feedback on SiteJabber. We're very sorry you had difficulties returning an item to us. It currently takes 5-10 business days to receive a return and 3-5 business days to process it, though we hope to do so in a much quicker time frame. It then takes up to 5 business days, depending on your bank, for that credit to appear in your account. You can find more information here: http://idee.li/ideeliFAQreturntime. Within the window of 5-10 business days for shipping and another 3-5 business days for processing, we have refunded your account and are awaiting the bank's confirmation and delivery of your funds. Again, we do apologize for this delay. If you have any further questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to private message me so I can assist you directly.
Best,
Jason Faria
