For exactly 120 for a couples massage was not reflected on my account. I contacted groupon and gave them the order number in question as well as screenshots of my confirmation email. Instead of inquiring on the issue they refunded a second groupon voucher I bought for a movie ticket in the amount of 26.45 when I paid 29.45 and skipped out on paying my 3 additional dollars. When I contacted them a third time, my email was blocked. I would have been fine calling and explain this issue but there is no customer service number. Beware of the bs. Groupon is sketchy.
We were so excited my husband was given this as a birthday gift…. The extra expenses have been ridiculous… extra $100 each to fly out from Brisbane… extra costs to sit together on flight… car hire for 3 days cause a very basic motel is not near city, beach, etc…. We were not honoured any of our three Friday and Saturday night options… had to fly out on a Thursday… taking away our income (haven't even gone and down $1060)… gosh I hope our bottom of the peeking order destination is worth it!
I've been an ideeli member for months now. I referred a friend, and got a $25 credit when they purchased something. She said it did take a little while to receive her purchase, but it was clearly marked before she selected her items and paid for them, that it would not be shipped for another 2 weeks. She received her items, as ordered with NO PROBLEMS. I used my $25 credit and made a purchase. It clearly stated before I checked out that the item would not ship for another 2 weeks. I got a notice 2 days later that my item had shipped, and recieved it the VERY NEXT DAY. The item was as I ordered it and I received multiple compliments on it.
I am surprised that so many people are having a bad experience. My same friend also ordered a dress through this site that clearly said no returns, and she had viewed the measurments to make sure she got the right size. Once it came it was clearly too short for her to wear in public and keep her self respect. She called the customer service line, explained that she had checked the measurements, and they allowed her to return the item. I think people reading these comments should keep in mind that normally people don't search for sites to leave comments unless they've had a bad experience. NOT EVERYONE HAS HAD A BAD EXPERIENCE!
A lot of the items you purchase are not returnable and take a while to ship, but it ALWAYS states that before you check out. Keep in mind that you are purchasing designer items at a discounted price, so please understand that they can't just give this stuff away out of the back of a truck.
Fake DHL tracking numbers! Beware. Groupon Goods will take your money, never ship your item, and just say, "Sorry" when you try to get your money and/or item. I I now have a total of four Groupon Goods purchases that I paid for and never received. 3 out of four of these items were gifts and I was stuck having to spend MORE money at the very last second to buy gifts because the Groupon Goods never came. Even worse, when I try contacting Groupon Goods I realize I can't find a phone number to save my life! I email them and receive boiler plate emails saying sorry, use your tracking number, blah blah blah. I find the tracking number which is from DHL, it routes me to the USPS site (If it was shipped by DHL, why does it then get transferred to the post office for delivery?) nd all 4 orders show that they were delivered, to my place of employment, on a Saturday before noon. OUR MAILROOM IS NOT OPEN ON SATURDAYS. DHL and the post office say they can't help, Groupon says I have to follow up with DHL and/or the post office. I feel like I just played 3 card Monte, only there was never anything under the cards to begin with! Total racket. By the way, if anyone has the phone number for Groupon Goods, can you please post it? Thanks.
Groupon used to be really the in-thing a while back. But, nowadays it has sort of gone down. Needs to imrpove
I tried it once for a local restaurant but could not understand how to obtain the coupon. Felt like I was ripped off. Would not try it ever again.
This is really an excellent app.It is a complete package for foodies n ppl love exploring new food places.#loved it
I ordered some B12 patches. The tracking number for USPS stated that it was deliverd to my mail box, they are locked boxes, but there was nothing in the box from Groupon. I called and complained that I had not received it. I was told that tracking says it was delivered and that I need to contact my neighbors to see if they got it by mistake or if someone signed for it. Obviously no signature was required or it would have been available to see on the tracking or at least a person who signed for it. So they use the USPS for delivery but if package is not delivered, it is your responsibility to find it. The patches were delivered on 7/5, if a neighbor had them they would have given them back to me, but nothing, so someone is wearing my B12 patches and GROUPON says your problem. I cannot find if the FOB is destination or origin. If destination they have to find out where they are, not me but cannot find it. So there are many of these sites like Groupon, I would recommend using any of them except GROUPON, as if there is an issue and things do not go right, than it is up to you as the customer to find your merchandise. GO ELSEWHERE for your bargains. BAD BAD
Paid for membership but coupon did not work and there is no customer service to get your money back or fix the problem

Short version:
I purchased a cell phone. I did not change my address on my profile when I moved so it was shipped to my old address. I noticed this error before it shipped and contacted Groupon's customer service to do a simple address change., I was told they could not change the address because the ordered had already been sent to the warehouse who was filling it. REALLY? Groupon has NO communication with the warehouses that fill their orders? WTH? Then they told me to wait until it had shipped & call FED EX to change the address. FED EX told me the shipper would have to contact them & change the address. So I contacted Groupon's customer support thinking they would at least call FED EX and change the address. And again I was told they could not do a SIMPLE ADDRESS CHANGE! WOW! My concern is that the new tenets will accept this package and not return it to me. So now I am out of a lot of money... and all because Groupon is not capable of doing a SIMPLE ADDRESS CHANGE! I have learned my lesson and will never again do business with Groupon.
As a longtime sample sale shopper, I had high hopes for Ideeli. I've ordered from Gilt Groupe, Rue La La, and Haute Look, all of which have impeccable customer service, so I was very stoked to find a beautiful dress that had been sold out for ages (it was past season) on ideeli for a fraction of its retail price. Even better, it was only on sale in a 4 and a 12 - after obsessively refreshing for a while (someone put the 4 in their cart), I was able to snag the size 4.
Afterwards, however, I mentioned this purchase to a friend - another longtime sample sale shopper - who seemed surprised I had taken a risk with Ideeli at all. So I went online and found all these terrible reviews - slow shipping, nonexistent customer service, wrong items and sizes sent, sometimes even damaged. I was extremely wary, but there was nothing I could do. To my surprise, the item shipped nearly immediately despite an expected ship date of 3 weeks later so I thought maybe I had just gotten lucky. Wrong. The dress arrived yesterday - in a size 2.
Now I have the option of trying to hassle with customer service - and there is no phone number, so you are at the mercy of whenever they feel like responding to your emails - about exchanging the dress, except I'm not even sure they have it in the right size to begin with. Why would they list a 4 and a 12 if there's also a 2? 2 was not even an option! So that leaves trying to get a refund, which from what I've read is another hassle in and of itself. I may just end up keeping this dress and dieting to fit into it. (eyeroll).
All in all, not the worst experience ever but I imagine if they had sent this to me in a 14 and I needed to return it they would've offered store credit or something of the like, if I managed to get a hold of them at all. If you want a safe consumer experience where you receive the items you order, stay away from Ideeli. There are plenty of better sites out there.
Good deal site. I was a really big fan of there's a few years ago. They buzz has died down since then but they still hve great deals.
On Friday and Saturday Ideel posted furs for sale. Very very plush and expensive animal fur coats and jackets and misc accessories. I was appalled that in this 21st Century of more conscious living and respect for all life kingdoms a Fortune One company would lower its standards to that degree. The caveman days are gone, when it was necessary to kill animals and use their fur for warmth! I protest the lack of respect women, for example the Kartrashians, who mock the lives of the animals of which fur they shamefully display as trophies on their shoulders and backs!
I sent an email to Ideel citing my protest, it's response (I paraphrase) was that although they admit it's a sensitive issue... um... sensitive... really? There is never-the-less a market for these expensive furs a segment of society demands. The furs if I recall correctly were in the range from 3K to 12K+. Sooo... because some of the one percenters' demand it justifies the exploitation of the animal kingdom? Same as the dentist who killed the lion? Just because they can? Should not fur for sale be illegal, same as is the selling of ivory from elephant tusks! I think so!
Hi Olivia,
We appreciate that you reached out to us here on SiteJabber. I apologize for the miscommunication and that the wrong order was canceled. I've had several Groupon deals cancelled on me, not to mention miss selling. I was bought a Kite Surfing Lesson, thankfully I called a head and the person running it confirmed it was flying a kite on the beach and I would go nowhere near the water. He said if I was interested in Kite Surfing I should save my money and do the full lesson! I've spend hours complaining to and about Groupon but they seem to be protected and nothing major has happened even though their own social media links are full of complaints. If you want a laugh send them an email complaining and then post on their Facebook page your issue. They will reply via Facebook within 30mins offering a tailored service to fix the problem and all you have to do is drop them an email. After two weeks of playing the game I never actually got an email just the promise in an open social media environment that they would help! I wonder why!
Groupon is an amazing idea but when you speak to retailers they say the deals are never realistic and they are forced to offer massive discounts that they know are unsustainable. In their T&Cs if you offer a groupon deal they can't offer another deal to any other customer! Yeah right, like Groupon have that much control over the world! I've experience twice myself that they have over sold deals and broken T&Cs only to blame the other company, I'm happy to send round all my evidence to people.
Great idea, run by idiots and unfortunately it looks like they are slowly doing more harm than good with their antics. As with other comments its only until you mention trading standards that they sit up and listen, I've also found that if you tell them that a colleague agreed and you have email confirmation they never check and do what you want otherwise you get a "computer says no" answer!
Personally they have a good idea but are just thick, stupid and conmen! Why over sell the deals, why lie to customers and why don't they solve the issues rather than worrying about their image on social media sites!
This is the second time I have ordered from ideeli.com. The first time, I ordered a dress, and it came quick, correct size, and I was thrilled. I have looked at the site periodically throughout the year since then, and right before Christmas found a mirror. I placed my order and thought I was done. Then, a different day, I starting searching for other websites similar to this one, sample sales. In doing this, ic ame across this site- and started reading the HORRIBLE reviews about thesite. I was shocked! I crossed my fingers and paryed my mirror would arrive safe, and in one piece. First, I received the email about the 5 day delay, which I had read about. Of course the 5 days took more like ten. Then, my order finally arrived yesterday, a month after ordering. I carefully laid the box on the floor, and started tp slide my mirror out of the box- and the thing completely fell apart. The glass, surprisinlgy was the ONLY thing intact. The mirror is in shambles. After reading everyone elses reviews abouyt their TERRIBLE customer service, I decided to take it is a $40 loss and lesson learned. I did write the customer service people, but feel it would be more headache, to pay for shipping back, and deal with this company for god knows how long. I choose to maybe fix the mirror with a lot of glue and nails, and never, never, order from this company again.

Ideeli can have pretty amazing customer service! If you email them politely about your problem, they do try their best to help you get your money back. I accidentally bought the same items (lingerie) twice on two separate account, and wanted to cancel one of the orders. The items were already shipped by that time and according to their online policy, lingerie can't be returned. I wrote to them asking to cancel the order or at least to return the item for store credit. I was confused because I just received a formal message telling me the case is closed. I wrote to them again about the same problem, and got back a long patronizing essay on why if we're allowed to return whatever we want, bags, lingerie, etc, the prices will be a lot higher than we afford... By that time I was pissed and thought I have no chance of getting any money, in the form of actual money or store credit back.
But when I looked at my order summary 2 weeks later (first time I checked it since the incident), I saw a return label for my lingerie order. And I was able to return my order for $55 in store credit :). The person who helped me out even used my original store credit toward that purchase, so my credit card was only charged $20 for a $65 order. The only thing I lost was $10 for the shipping and handling fee and having $10 converted from cash to store credit.
My problem was especially complicated because I tried canceling after the items are shipped and the items are technically not returnable. Under the two conditions, they really did everything they can to help me out. If you just buy clothing and accessories from ideeli.com, I really can't see how you can encounter any problem. They have super fast and convenient free returns. Every time I returned an order, I receive my store credit w/ 3 days after I shipped it. I think they have a really clean layout and the best deals out of all the sample sale websites too, especially their Red sales. Only thing negative I have to say about them is that their pictures are really misleading about the color of the items. Everything is lighter than it actually is. A light mint dress turn out pure white in their photos, so make sure you always check the description.
Hi Vera,
Thank you for sharing a thorough and detailed review. I truly appreciate it, as it helps us to know how we can improve the ideeli experience. I'm so glad our team was able to assist with your duplicate lingerie order. We understand that mistakes can happen, and always do our best to make things right so that you will be completely happy with your purchase. I hope that you'll continue to reach out to us at support@ideeli.com if we can ever be of help again. In addition, please always feel free to e-mail us to clarify any questions on coloring, or to let us know if an image is unclear to you. We'd be glad to assist! Thanks again for your kind words.

I have been a member of this site for a little over a year now and have found the customer service to be horrendous! When you reach out to them for assistance they either ignore your emails or don't have the answer to your question. If you have to return an item for a problem, that was no fault of yours, they will not replace the item with the correct/undamaged item. They fail to see that there was a reason for ordering the item in the first place---you wanted it! I have discovered that they only give you an e-mail address so they can ignore you when they feel the need to. I believe the procedure they have in place is: whoever gets an e-mail, answers the e-mail; so you will often get different answers for one problem if you're not satisfied with their answer. They had an area on their web site called "discussion" where you could ask a question or post a review about an item on sale. I found this to be helpful because, quite often, other customers would answer your question based on: 1) buying the item in the past or, 2) having knowledge about the brand. Some customers used it as a way to express their dissatisfaction with Ideeli and, believe me, there were a lot of dissatisfied customers so they did away with it for fear of losing customers. Yes, the shipping can be slow so you have to really pay attention to the return date, if the item is returnable. If you need an item right away, you might not want to place an order with them. Another thing worth mentioning is that you only get a credit for a return; you have to place another order because you won't get your money back! I have had it with them and plan to take my business elsewhere. There are other sites that I have used and have found them capable and willing to resolve an issue/problem. Ideeli, needs to overhaul their customer service department and adopt the customer service policies that Nordstrom has in place.
Hi TL -
I'm very sorry that you have had satisfactory experiences with our site. Unfortunately, due to the nature of our sales and limited inventory, often times an exchange is not possible as we no longer have any stock of that item on hand.
I appreciate you sharing your feedback and will be sure to pass your thoughts along to our internal teams as we work to continuously improve our shopping experience.
We'd be happy to assist to assist you with any issue you may have. Please send your order number to support@ideeli.com so that we can work with you for a resolution.

I cannot believe that such poor customer service exists in this day and age. I can't believe they are still a functioning business.
I personally have spent a lot of money on and through Groupon to eat locally, get products, and literally go abroad with them. I have been a loyal customer to them for many, many years and have spent thousands of dollars. I will NEVER use Groupon again.
I recently purchased a Groupon for 2 nights at a hotel that quotes $45/night. I chose two nights and was charged $97.00 + even though as I was booking my nights it quoted me $48 plus change a night. I thought it was a little low after the "fees" they rack up but being a loyal customer I had faith in them.
When we arrived to the hotel we were told their nightly rates were $80.00 a night by Chris. Then we were told we had the room for only one night. When we went back to the confirmation that originally said $48/night it was replaced by one night only for $97.00 plus change. We paid more than the hotel was charging through a "discount coupon service".
When we confronted the hotel and Groupon we were told there was nothing they could do because it was what it was. We asked them why we should use their service and they had no reason to. We smelled fraudulent behavior.
After all the workers played "hot potato" with the phone and we talked to 3+ people, the "manager" that we talked to, Amanda # 913 645, told us there was nothing they could do for us, we clearly just didn't understand.
This is not the first time there was a glitch in the system. I signed up for a service that was $100+ and when I went to book an appointment, the service said they hadn't signed up for/nor been on Groupon. She was sweet enough to accept that technology has glitches and she would respect some of the Groupon, however, the Coast River Inn at Seaside, OR didn't have any empathy.
Will never be giving my business to Coast River Inn nor Groupon again. Which is a true loss as I was a loyal customer that would take multiple trips a year through Groupon and Coast River Inn at Seaside.
Extremely dissatisfied with a service I thought I could trust.
Bad, I bought a Groupon and the place never answered, they gave the option to change it, so I did and I have a trouble again and they do not answered.
I purchased the laser vein treatment. I have had the saline treatment and been very satisfied with instant results. I find once i have purchased the treatment takes 8 weeks to see results and most people need 2-3 treatments. It is painful may leave burns and bruises. During the 8 weeks you must avoid sun. My reason for treatment was to have nice legs for my vacation in April. My vacation was 6 weeks after treatment becuase they were booked up for 2 weeks. My viens looked worse not better after 6 weeks. I did not want to do another treatment and wait another 6-8 weeks to see if it worked, or i would maybe need 3 treatments. This would be a total of 16 weeks for 2 treatments. It will be July by time i can be in the sun. I expressed my dissatisaction, and was told that i was jumping the gun. I need to give it 2-3 sessions to see if it works. Also there are no guarentees. I should have done the saline solution like before. Why would anyone want to wait 16 weeks to see if something worked or not? Laser also cost more in the long run the saline was the same price as 2 laser treatments. Not worth it at all. I wasted my money.
Tip for consumers:
know all the facts before choosing laser treatment
I purchased a mattress topper form Comfort essentials It has taken 2 week and I still have not gotten my order, Stay away from groupon they can not help the consumer. STAY AWAY
We purchased 8 x 8 canvas and 12 x 16 and all were beautiful. Thank you so much, our family will be ordering more soon.
I bought more than 10 groupons this holidays- from sushi to hotel, from lights show to water park... lots of fun and saved a lot. Thanks Groupon
Fraud, company sells fake stuf, and then they tell you sorry for the confusion and you can not return it since its final sale. Worst experience ever.
Hi,
Writing here hoping that SOMEONE (hopefully YOU, Jason F!) will finally answer me. I have been trying to get in contact with someone from Ideeli.com for the past week to no avail. Over 10 Voice Messages on their Customer Service hotline, several emails to Support, and 5 "live-chat" conversations. My shipment was sent to the wrong address (Ideeli's fault, not my own, as I had the correct address on my account), and then returned to Ideeli's port at 300 Nixon Lane in Edison, NJ. No one via "Live Chat" will reship my order or issue me a refund, but they promise that someone will "call me right away" (which of course, 7 days later, still has not happened). These were CHRISTMAS GIFTS that I needed to receive by 12/21, They have been sitting at 330 Nixon Lane for a week now, and I will not receive them by 12/21 unless they are RUSH SHIPPED. If I cannot receive them by 12/21, I want a full refund (NOT a credit), as this is Ideeli's mistake. I also am disgusted by the lack of customer service, and I am about to report this business to the BBB. There is no reason your customers should not be answered, or have to spend this much of their time trying to get a hold of someone from your company. Completely unacceptable.
Jason Faria - if you are truly the Sr. Manager of Customer Service, can you PLEASE help me? I can send you a private message with my order/tracking information.
I am running out of patience.
-Lauren

Groupon is the largest "daily deal" site, selling vouchers for discounted local experiences and services such as restaurants and spas, as well as travel packages, shopping, and a number of other items. Vouchers are purchased upfront and typically must be redeemed by a certain date, after which time Groupons expire. To businesses Groupon markets itself as a way to drive new customers. Groupon is a public company (NASDAQ: GRPN) and is based in Chicago, IL.
