For exactly 120 for a couples massage was not reflected on my account. I contacted groupon and gave them the order number in question as well as screenshots of my confirmation email. Instead of inquiring on the issue they refunded a second groupon voucher I bought for a movie ticket in the amount of 26.45 when I paid 29.45 and skipped out on paying my 3 additional dollars. When I contacted them a third time, my email was blocked. I would have been fine calling and explain this issue but there is no customer service number. Beware of the bs. Groupon is sketchy.
We were so excited my husband was given this as a birthday gift…. The extra expenses have been ridiculous… extra $100 each to fly out from Brisbane… extra costs to sit together on flight… car hire for 3 days cause a very basic motel is not near city, beach, etc…. We were not honoured any of our three Friday and Saturday night options… had to fly out on a Thursday… taking away our income (haven't even gone and down $1060)… gosh I hope our bottom of the peeking order destination is worth it!
There's no diversity in their advertisements. The world we live used to live in has changed seems like groupon need to catch up with times.
I have always had a good experience with groupon and have used it many times. I never felt ripped off and the terms are clear.
Delivery times sometimes too many large: S
For some items the price is not as cheap as it seems but for the rest it's ok
" Horrible customer service!
I make a purchase on July 31,2011. The order was sent in two packages. The first package had a ship date of August 1 - 3. I did not receive an email confirmation so I emailed them on August 8 to inquire. I was told that Ideeli just started to use a combination of sending packages USPS and UPS (to save money) so it may take longer. The first package tracking indicated it reached the sorting facility in San Pablo, CA on August 8,2011 (not final destination); the second package reached San Pablo on August 18. I emailed again on Sept 25 stating I still have not received the package. The response is that the shipping does take longer and sorry for the confusion.
On August 30, I receive the SECOND package and I emailed Ideeli again about the first package and asked if they can refund my money. Their response was that they cannot cancel my order but will start an investigation that will be resolved within 8 days.
On Sept 8, I emailed idelli again for the results of their investigation. Their response was that the package is at a sorting facility and will be delivered within 4 - 6 weeks from when it first arrived there.
On Sept 12 (6 weeks from when it first arrived in San Pablo), I chat online with one of the ideeli representatives. She was very nice and asked if I could wait for another week. If there was no movement on the tracking number she would refund my money.
Today, Sept 21, I chatted online with another representative. I explained everything that happened and she told me that she cannot do anything but will send an email to the technical group to look into this further. She also stated that the order can be refunded when the package is deemed lost (when the tracking states delivered, but you have not received it.) When I asked what happens if it never gets delivered, she had no answer for me.
Great discounts on products especially the food coupons are awesome! I use them almost every month. I also use their spa and gym coupons too.
I've had great success with Groupon! I love the local deals as well as finding great new places that I didn't know were out there.
The earrings I just received (on tenth working day) are not even close to the picture on Groupon website. Very, very cheap looking, shoddy product!
I love groupon! This site and it's coupons have saved me hundreds of bucks over the last 6 months. I love new things like this!
The idea of Groupon alone is amazing, especially if you're couponing or trying to save money. The website itself is great and easy to use.
I love Groupon and all the deals, however, I have had several experiences with the actual vendors being inconsiderate or not accurate to their deals.
First time ordering from groupon & NEVER AGAIN! HORRIBLE SHIPPING! I ordered something on sep. 9th & they just shipped it on sep 26! WTFFFF! Groupon is indeed a piece of $#*! im sticking to amazon.
CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM INDIA SEEMS MORE OUT SOURCE LIKE DISNEY LOVE THE AMERICAN DOLLAR PAY FOR IDIOTS 2.00 CUSTOMER SERVICE NO USE FOR GROUPON CAN SPEND MY AMERICAN DOLLAR AT OTHER SITES...
When Groupon deals go through as expected, it's great. Saving money is always awesome, while supporting local businesses. But when there is an issue, dealing with Groupon customer support is the absolute worse, and I'd rather gouge my eyes out with a dull plastic fork than deal with the "Customer Support" team. Had a concert cancelled and it's within their own terms of service that the purchaser *me* will be refunded if the event is cancelled by the merchant, and now they want to issue me $70 in GROUPONBUCKS and not refund it to my original method of payment; which is NOT what's outlined within their own terms of use and their Extraordinary Event Policy*. I am BEYOND infuriated with Groupon, and feel bad for the thousands of others who are going to have to deal with this same situation because of a cancelled event. No I don't want nor need $70 in GROUPON bucks. If it was $20 or something I'd deal with it, but $70 worth of GROUPON money is ridiculous and unacceptable. I'm not asking for a refund because I can't go to this show, this show was CANCELLED due to COVID19. How about you stop trying to scam people and follow your OWN TERMS of service/use and refund people accordingly. I can't wait to see some class action lawsuits against Groupon, because you deserve it for trying to scam and rip people off!
We made the reservation at The Falls Hotel & Inn for March 2,2023,
Upon arrival, they offered an upgrade for $69. We accepted it, and to cut a long story short, we found bed bugs on the bed in the middle of the night. I took a video of it and quickly ran to reception to report it; however, no one was around. I took a video of that as well. I checked both washrooms, and no one was in there either. I returned to my room, and we started packing. We were here to celebrate our special day, but it was now out of the window. We dialed zero to speak with the operator, and William said he would visit us shortly. He inspected the room, agreed that it was the bed bug in that room that we captured on the video, apologized, and moved us to another room. We were terrified when he added that there was no guarantee for the other room as the hotel was old. Unfortunately, it was almost 1 am, and we had limited options. Thinking about it, now it explains why the central entrance door had broken glass when we checked in. There must have been some upset customers for similar reasons.
I asked to speak with the manager, who would only arrive at 10 am. Manager Tonya comes prepared with an attitude as she must be getting paid to handle such situations. So in total, we paid USD 109, out of which she refunded $10 for the room upgrade + $15 for the parking and said we couldn't do anything about the room charges. They have yet to send any inspection report either. Due to the bed bug infestation, this listing should be removed or flagged with the Ministry of Health. Tonya also advised contacting Groupon for a refund of the room charges.
I have tried chatting with multiple customer service agents who credited my account with 12 Groupon bucks, which is unfair. And trust me, this is not about money anymore. Our special day was interrupted with no sincere apology, and it's a shame that such vendors are getting promoted through Groupon. We trust Groupon, and because of that, we buy those products and services.
Tip for consumers:
Be careful of the promotions as they can be non-refundable, rejects and scam!

Groupon need to ensure that companies can't manipulate deals. I have bought few deals that were n't really a deal
I love Groupon. Because of their "tickets and events" my husband and I have become tourists in our own hometown.
I was fooled by groupon price. It was very expensive in the end for my trip. Won't use Groupon again.
I ordered a Isofix car seat on the 10th of June. On the 14th, they emailed me saying the product had been shipped and supplied me with a tracking number through the delivery company Hermes. On the 16th, the tracking link they supplied me with, still wasn't working. I went on Hermes World, tracked the parcel, finally worked! But not for my postcode! Contacted Hermes and they confirmed the tracking number did not match my address. So I called Groupon, to only speak to the rudest, most unhelpful woman ever. Who continued to tell me it was coming to my address, and even confirmed the tracking number more than once. (Even though I knew something wasn't right!) I contacted Hermes again and thankgod I finally spoke to someone who went that extra mile and found my parcel... Groupon had been supplying me with the wrong tracking number since day 1. When the parcel finally arrived, the box was damaged. Overall I am very happy with the car seat, but the stress and nuisance of this purchase and the crap customer service, has made me choose to never buy through Groupon again! Wowcher all the way!
No communication, no updates. Where are my orders?
I tried to go to their website and of course it's unavailable
We love running auto glass deals with groupon. They are great to work with and always profitable. Thank you groupon.
I have purchased many products from Groupon mainly gift cards or vouchers for food products and have always been satisfied.
I always find the best deals on Groupon! Everyone needs to try it and you'll get hooked on the savings!
I read all the reviews here and I feel for Jason F! Hang-in-there Jason.
I'm a member since 2010. Please know that I had my fair share of issues with ideeli.com. The way I look at it, this is a young company with tonnes of potential and all the "kinks" we are experiencing right now is common with new business. The most important thing is ideeli.com continues to evolve and takes customers' comments and feedbacks seriously. I suggested an idea and I see changes made. That's what keeps me going back to the site.
Yesterday I received a pair of boots I ordered from ideli.com. Item arrived with a defect on which the decorative pull on the heels was broken. I love the boot so much and I sent in an email enquiring for a replacement instead of being on a waitlist for the next sale. Jessica from the customer service team sent back a very nice reply advising that they don't store item in stock. I should be mad because I'm expecting a brand new merchandise free of defect which I can enjoy this Thanksgiving right?... but... Jessica and the entire customer service team at ideeli.com shock and humbled me with their unexpected solution. They refunded my entire purchase price to my credit card (note that they divert from their normal return policy, they are not offering me store credit but refunded my monies!). To top it off they let me keep the the boots. I know a lot of you may not think that it is a great solution since it is a defective merchandise... but for myself... I did not expect that answer at all. The fact that they try all within their means to make me a happy customer is enough to make me a loyal customer for life.
The effort counts the rest is only things we have hanging around! To ideeli.com team keep up the good work!
Weeks ago, I purchased a FitBit on sale on Groupon. I've always wanted one and since it was on sale I decided to. The company website says that products are shipped and delivered within a 5-10 business day span. So after 15 business days of waiting for my product, I decided to contact them. After talking to THREE separate UNBELIEVABLY RUDE customer service reps, they finally told me that they did not physically have the FitBit that I bought! They were selling these FitBits without even having the product to sell! Instead of emailing me to tell me this, they let me wait and wait. After I found out that they didnt have the $200 FitBit I wanted, they said the best they can do if offer me a refund. I told them if they ever wanted my future buisness that I want a instore credit for the ridiculous service. No instore credit or anything. They couldn't do anything for me. So this week I will be going to my local mall to buy a FitBit. Never again will I use this service. Honestly, anyone who is thinking about using Groupon, just dont do it. Its not worth the hassle. Worst customer service I've ever had.
Groupon is the largest "daily deal" site, selling vouchers for discounted local experiences and services such as restaurants and spas, as well as travel packages, shopping, and a number of other items. Vouchers are purchased upfront and typically must be redeemed by a certain date, after which time Groupons expire. To businesses Groupon markets itself as a way to drive new customers. Groupon is a public company (NASDAQ: GRPN) and is based in Chicago, IL.
