For exactly 120 for a couples massage was not reflected on my account. I contacted groupon and gave them the order number in question as well as screenshots of my confirmation email. Instead of inquiring on the issue they refunded a second groupon voucher I bought for a movie ticket in the amount of 26.45 when I paid 29.45 and skipped out on paying my 3 additional dollars. When I contacted them a third time, my email was blocked. I would have been fine calling and explain this issue but there is no customer service number. Beware of the bs. Groupon is sketchy.
We were so excited my husband was given this as a birthday gift…. The extra expenses have been ridiculous… extra $100 each to fly out from Brisbane… extra costs to sit together on flight… car hire for 3 days cause a very basic motel is not near city, beach, etc…. We were not honoured any of our three Friday and Saturday night options… had to fly out on a Thursday… taking away our income (haven't even gone and down $1060)… gosh I hope our bottom of the peeking order destination is worth it!
This sounds like a good concept but what you are doing is 1-paying Groupon for the service and 2-loaning a company money until you try and use the coupon. We bought coupons only to find that the restaurant did not research what was legal in the state and then changed the rules leaving us stuck with coupons that we could not use for the original purpose. Big rip off in our book and we will never buy another one-EVER!
I would give 0 stars or lower if I could! I will NOT ever buy from this company again! The product I received was nothing like it was online. Cheaply made and overpriced for what was sent to me! Finally, got a hold of customer service which was not easy and they did nothing for me and when I was replying to the lady she said it looks like we've been disconnected and ended our conversation! First experience with this company and definitely last experience as well!
The worst customer service experience I have ever had. A lot of these complaints are similar, not just coincidence I presume. My order was also cancelled because I was told there was an issue with my credit card. Although my card was charged weeks prior for the product. I too, paid partially for my order using a promotion code, oddly familiar with these other bad reviews that were also cancelled using promo codes. They never contacted me to inform me of this, they just sent me an email telling me it was cancelled.
They told me I could reorder the item but they would not honor my promo code anymore.
I received robot like responses from customer service, they didn't care that I wanted to end my membership and that I was very dissatisfied and never answered my last email.
Avoid them at all costs. There are so many other great shopping sites of this kind. I have received excellent customer service from sites like Gilt, Rue La La & Beyond the Rack.
Groupon took £300 from my credit card in May the delivery of the furniture has been delayed and delayed and I am having problems getting a refund. Meanwhile they are sat on £300 of many other peoples money - SCAM! Money should not be taken until goods are dispatched.
I was really surprised to find so many negative reviews. I've been using groupon pretty much since it was established, and had only great experiences so far. I use it for my favorite restaurants, a few shops, and mostly for discount goods. The last thing I got was a down comforter for my husband, that was only for a fraction of price and was delivered super fast. I also ordered Argan Oil, that came in a really LARGE bottle, and was very good, and many other little things. I cannot complain so far and will be using this site again.
Emailed Ideel trying to find out where a jacket went that I purchased online. Original date I was to receive it was within 5 days. It's been 2 weeks. I was able to track the package via UPS to a point. Then it was transferred to USPS?! Haven't been able to track it for a few days now. The reply from Ideel:

I'll be lucky if I receive this item by Christmas... or at all for that matter. Their customer service in my opinion sucks. And what company ships a package 50% of the way via UPS and then USPS?
No matter what I have purchased from Groupon- they stand by their offerings. I accidentally redeemed a coupon for instance and right away I got assistance in starting over.
Another time I was unhappy with a service I had purchased through Groupon. Groupon refunded my money and tried to assist in resolving the issue with the vendor.
They offer wonderful coupons and services. I even have the App on my phone. Makes gift giving fun and easy as well!
I have ordered many items from groupon, before now I has been satisfied but hid time the dinkleboo blanket they are offering for 16.99 plus shipping, not only is the dinkleboo ordering system crappy, but after 2 evenings of uploading photos, I have checked to see if item had shipped and it says "failed to render", what does that even mean and why did the company not contact me to let me now the order I had paid for had an issue as they had no issue taking the money!, Its impossible to get a person on the phone at groupon. So not only did I waste my time and effort placing the order designing the photo blanket but now I get to chase to get my money back. Also while ordering there was a glitch and I ended up with 5 orders for the voucher for the blankets and now, I have ordered a total of 4 of these and only 1 is on its way, not good odds 1 out of 4!
It is impossible to contact Groupon by telephone. They have disconnected all toll free phone numbers. Several attempts to reach them by email was very frustrating and stressful. After providing my contact information and outlined my issue, I clicked on "I am not a robot" and had to select images over and over again but could not send the email. I then went on Live Chat and waited and waited for Operator to come on but finally gave up. Groupon sucks.
I've actually had several good experience with this site. They delivered within the expected time frame as listed on the site. The only iffy part about this store is the return policy. Anything that is returned is given store credit, which prompts you to spend on the site again. But not a problem for me. I like shopping here =)

Beware of deals on shows, you are not assigned a seat, you have to redeem the coupon on day of show, there is no guarantee of seating locations.
I found much better deals online, too bad, I wished I research 1st before I purchased from Groupon... Customer service was not helpful at all, it took me a long time before I was connected with someone, and she was no help at all.
Will definitely not purchase any shows from them again!
It has now been 45 days and no labels customer service keeps saying "a few more days" what kind of service does this company have to keep saying that to a client. Never again and I will be telling all the moms and mommy groups to not buy from this company.
This company sells you wine for $69 on the first page and after they have your information they tell you there is a $25 shipping charge. They've already charged the $69. Even a spokeswoman said to read the fine print on the first page. I also had a problem with an income tax ad -- it stated a $99 fee but when I got there the preparer said that was the reduction and I had to pay another $150 (we settled on that though she said the fee was $450. Be wary.
I purchased a camera bundle two times from groupon with the web site identifying Beach Camera as the seller. Each time the package did not include the camera body. Shoddy shipping. Groupon had no control over the purchase and it takes 15 + days to get credit applied back to card.
I ordered a dog bed from one of their retailers. It was to be shipped to my work. After not receiving it 5 days after the tracking said it was in route, I found out it had been returned to Groupon. I called customer service and their solution was to just refund my money. I still wanted the dog bed! I'm not thrilled with their resolution, considering it was never an option to send a new one, overnight one, nothing. Needless to say I won't be ordering products off of here any longer. Amazon has never had this issue with delivery to the very same address.
I have purchased so many different things from Groupon. Dog beds, couch covers, Home show tickets, Excel courses, etc. I have been pleased with everything purchased. If you purchase and don't use the money still stays there for your next purchase. A win-win. I will continue to purchase from Groupon. It also is city specific so you can get goods from your local city. Awesome.
I have tried several times to use groupon. I read small print and yet when I try to use them there is some hidden glitch website or otherwise preventing it. I have had my vouchers refunded but it was a lot of work each time. I would be wary of spending more than your willing to lose.
While I love Groupon and the amazing deals you can get on the site. Read the small print! Many retailers have stipulations, locations where the groupon can be used, how long you have to use it, and additional items you may have to pay for, such as extra oil if your vehicle uses more than the norm. The additional costs can sometimes make the deal not such a deal. Overall, I do love Groupon and when you call them with an issue, the customer service is usually very good.
Bully sticks were wildly misrepresented. Thin smelly sticks! Took under 5 minutes for my dog to eat one. Bundle cost-$25! Poor quality dog bed cover, sweet potato jerky misrepresented. Expensive! Dry, tasteless chips. Dog hated them!
Groupon keeps advertising the "waterproof" furniture slip covers and they are not! I bought 4 of them as a gift for someone who needed them to be waterproof. There's nothing about them that is waterproof. They're just basic blankets to put on your sofas. I let Groupon know this, but they continue to advertise them the same.
Customer support is the worst I have ever dealt with. They dont call back and no way to contact them. That is very suspicious. I think they are going out of business. Live chat is a rip off. They are from overseas. How do they know whats going on and what their inventory is like. Terrible site.
This is the worse company ever! Horrible customer service and delivery! I never received my item and never will! They say does not ship to p. O. boxes then why do the send UPS to deliver it to the POST office for the post office to NOT be able to deliver to a physical address?! If it's going to the POST office then why even use UPS? I have a P. O. box, but because you won't ship to the box I put my physical and now I can't order anything or receive it! All customer service said was sorry for the inconvenience, but there is nothing I can do... Wow stupid most ridiculous company! Will not recommend this to anyone! Don't shop with them it's all lies and bull$#*!!
I am having trouble using a Groupon I purchased. The merchant has no tours this month. Groupon would not give me a refund and the rep only gave generic responses. Very disappointing. Won't use it again
I have not been able to limit the amount of vouchers that people are able to purchase. Businesses use to be able to have this boundary. All they say is, "I understand", leaving us being the bad guy with potential clients. Shameful business ethics all through Groupon not letting their merchants having a voice.
Made a very small purchase of a personalized item but could not find a way to personalize that item... could not get any help no matter what I did... first and last time dealing with Groupon and their associates

When you place an order with us you aren't charged until the item ships. We do authorize your credit or debit card at checkout but that pending authorization is voided after 48 hours. When the order is ready to ship, we authorize your card for payment at that time and that amount is what we use to capture the charge. In a case where that authorization for shipping fails, you should receive an email from us requesting that you update the payment information. Should this not be done within a set amount of time, the order is canceled since we aren't able to charge for it. I'm very sorry if you didn't receive the payment update email and will make sure to check this information in your account once I have that information.
The customer service agent you worked with should have allowed you to use the promotion code on the reorder. I'll would like to issue you a new promotion code for a future order as well as check to see if any of the items from the order are still available for purchase. If you can please provide me with your order information, as well as the incident number from your correspondence with customer service, I'd like to look into this and find out what happened and why it happened since you should have been able to receive the same discount from the canceled order.
