For exactly 120 for a couples massage was not reflected on my account. I contacted groupon and gave them the order number in question as well as screenshots of my confirmation email. Instead of inquiring on the issue they refunded a second groupon voucher I bought for a movie ticket in the amount of 26.45 when I paid 29.45 and skipped out on paying my 3 additional dollars. When I contacted them a third time, my email was blocked. I would have been fine calling and explain this issue but there is no customer service number. Beware of the bs. Groupon is sketchy.
We were so excited my husband was given this as a birthday gift…. The extra expenses have been ridiculous… extra $100 each to fly out from Brisbane… extra costs to sit together on flight… car hire for 3 days cause a very basic motel is not near city, beach, etc…. We were not honoured any of our three Friday and Saturday night options… had to fly out on a Thursday… taking away our income (haven't even gone and down $1060)… gosh I hope our bottom of the peeking order destination is worth it!
I have ordered hotel rooms, restaurant vouchers, and even goods from the website. So far I have not had any issues. If you read the side print and go into detail about the product. It usually tells you details that you should read before. Such as extra charges or so on.

I had to groupon that i was suppose to get percentage off but when checking out somehow it failed writing to groupon it terrible all u get back is a headache. I just wanted credit in my account but they give u bucks what if u dont always use groupon does that make any sense when its not your fault. Its been a complete mess never use groupon and a code again
I will preface this review that I used to purchase from Ideeli (then Ideel) multiple times a week. Almost my whole work wardrobe was through them and I was always delighted with their customer service.
Imagine my shock when I go to load the page one day and this groupon nonsense comes up. Not only is it now garish and horrible to look at, but customer service is almost nonexistent. Orders get messed up, thank goodness my bank has my back.
Really really disappointed and will NOT be shopping here ANYMORE.
Groupon gives you great opportunities to try things you may never tried before they also stand behind their products and the companies they represent, they're easy to get a hold of, they return calls there are human beings you can speak with, great company to do business with
I've been a customer for a few years. I make purchases on this site weekly. I'm truly frustrated with the horrible service I have received. I have an issue to be addresses. I've waiting in the chat queues just get to get the #1 spot and then be disconnected. I've been trying to reach ideel via email for over a week. I've sent numerous emails and no response still. Worst service. I will not be using this site any longer.
I purchased two deals for facial threading only to find in the small print that the deal was limited to ONE discount per person. Luckily my friend was able to use the discounted threading service-but that has been the only issue with Groupon and was certainly my mistake for not reading thoroughly. Purchased some shoes at a great discount which I love. Overall, very happy with their services and offers.
Some deal is ok, but need to be careful with their note, there has some cheating deal, after you bought then find it's not what is expected, they always refuse to refund. Hard to fight with them since there has small character note with those coupon. Also I could not find where to add comments for the deal I was cheated, but I find many good review comments for that deal few hours ago. I will never use it anymore
Purchase a 2 day getaway for my gf and her daughter and come to find out Groupon gave our purchase to another customer because they said the card information was incorrect not even allowing us to update the card or anything. I even tried to call my bank and they confirmed the funds were available. It's unfortunate because we were looking forward to that trip. We will not be using Groupon anymore. The civil thing to do here would be to allow the customer to update their card info. It has not even been 24 hours.
I purchased a Juicy Couture handbag before I came across this site and was extremely worried about my purchase due to all the negative feedback. I actually received the bag much sooner than expected, exactly one week after I made the initial purchase. The bag was in perfect condition, although smaller than I anticipated. I was extremely satisfied with how my buying experience went with them and I will definitely be using them again!
Don't waste ur money! Groupon over sells bc they are greedy and then the business's end up getting all the bad feedback! Groupon should care about the clients and try to accommodate them by being more professional and educated when it comes to numbers! My recommendation is to all businesses do ur marketing another way because in the end groupon will end up hurting ur business more than helping it...
They charged $155 for a water sport package in Miami, and the fine print apparently said that it was half the cost. Just about all of the customers were in the same boat and everyone was mad. Even the workers said Groupon is shady with things like this.
Purchased Luminess Air Make up system for decent price. Payed for it 2 weeks ago and why is it that it wont be delivered until the day after Christmas? Says it qualifies for free expedited shipping, what a lie! I know it is the holidays, that is exactly why I purchased two weeks ahead of time. Still confused as to why it takes a package 3 weeks and a day to move from Texas to Kentucky. A professional runner can run it here in less time than that! I will never buy from Groupon again, they lie and are unhelpful. It will be just my luck that the damned thing is defective. It is a good thing this is a present for my mom, she understands that one gift will be late. Shame on you Groupon for ruining Christmas with your lies!
I will never use Groupon again. I've used it three times, and each time there was no savings. The last time was for lash extensions that were labeled by Groupon as individual lashes. The salon called them flare lashes. I asked for a refund after speaking with a partner of the salon, as the owner of the Groupon was not even available. The partner told me the lashes were ones that you could buy at the drugstore and that they were hard in your real lashes and could cause them to fall out. She then offered to do single lashes for more than twice the price. Such a scam. I am now out my money, as Groupon will not refund even though there is a discrepancy in service description. Beware of Groupon!
It is not the clientele whom are the issue - it is Groupon that is the issue. If you don't mind someone else taking up to 73% of what a client pays - then by all means do business with them. They claim to only take 50% of your already discounted price, but in reality they've often taken 73%. Knowing how they treat merchants, I also no longer buy through them. If i find a deal there, i just contact the merchant directly and often get a BETTER deal directly.
I placed an order about 2 weeks ago. I received a shipping conformation email the following day with a tracking number. I have been trying to track my order for the past 2 weeks but the UPS website keeps stating that there's no such number. I called UPS and they told me that Groupon is off on a number because the number is incorrect. I emailed Groupon and got no response yet. I tried calling and their wait time is 50-60 minutes. I waited past the 60 minutes and nothing. I honestly don't think they have anybody on the other end and the "50-60 min" recording is just there to discourage you. They also have the same 2 most EXTREMELY loud instrumental (piano? Xylophone?) ever, that's designed to give you a headache. I buried the phone under a pile of laundry I was folding and it was still radiating through. I waited 1 hour and 15 minutes and they never answered.

I have used Groupon goods for many years. I attempted to purchase a computer from the site and it told me the the purchase was pending. I emailed customer service 5 days after I placed the order and was told their system was taking longer than expected. 5 days after that still nothing so I emailed again. This time they let me know there was a problem processing the order and they were unable to honor it because the deal ended. No credit to my account no sorry about the troubles or suggestion for another similar product. All that was said was "you should contact support sooner".
I can't even justify giving them a 1 star after the scams they have pulled on me. Of close to 70 purchases i have made on their site, I have only been able to redeem less than 1/2 of them because I can never reach the merchants to schedule the service. Most the merchants don't even have a human answering their phones and leaving messages never returned. So the services are not delivered yet Groupon is paid and won't even refund the money when you complain or cancel the service. Yet to add insult to injury Groupon continues to promote these services, taking peoples money, not delivering the services and won't give refunds. WHAT A SCAM!
Companies like this usually end up in a class action suit. The word is getting out with alot of people very upset with this scam, their rating is dropping like a rock and their time is limited so think twice before you purchase from them.

Be very careful, because if you purchase a service, it will be almost impossible to reach the merchant, get a call returned or to schedule the service YET Groupon continues to promote and selling the service no caring if the services already sold are performed. Then to add insult to injury they will not even refund your money.

Their site is glitchy and initially said my order failed due to expired card. They sent a link to correct and it basically has got repeat the order and that one went through. The first order said pending failed.
Now I see on credit card that it eventually got re-charged after card entry was fixed so now have an extra set of tickets I did not want.
They will not refund stating because of agreement with certain vendors or some such bull$#*! even though it was their site that messed this up.
Never again! Be forewarned.
We brought the hotel Groupon for a clarion hotel on the coast and after leaving the hotel printed a received showing normal charge of 84.62 but we paid 135.49 and overpayment of 50.87 and no one is willing do anything other than a song a dance to get you off the line.
Horrible! Customer service does not exist! I ordered a set of blue bed sheets from them. They decided to send me white since they didn't have any blue sheets. I emailed them and for over 5 days I got nothing but canned responses. Too busy will get back to you.
Finally someone emailed me back and I did send the sheets back over three weeks ago. I still have not received my refund!
I blocked them and put them on the spam list. I will NEVER order from them again!
They may be good quality items but you will pay the price for them. Better to shop locally & find your own bargains at places like your nearby Walmart or even Fabric store which sells curtains off the rack far less expensive & better. Go to sites like WagJag & watch for better deals, they can be moved to your areas.
I bought two kids tablets from Groupon on 12/14/2016. I was told that the order would ship in 2 days and shipping would take 4-7 business days. It is now 12/29/2016 and I have nothing. I contacted Groupon three times and each time I was reassured that my products are still arriving on time. It actually took them 8 days to even process the order and they shipped it out only after I first enquired about my order. The customer service is terrible, as it does not answer any concerns and it is totally worthless. I will never use Groupon again as they lied to me on multiple occasions. I am still waiting on my product and will demand refund asap.
When you want a GOOD deal... GO to GROUPON! They offer everything... sometimes even the kitchen sink. You never know what you are going to find... but I can assure you-you will find something delicious to eat at a discount, a form of excellent entertainment at a discount, and/or a Groupon Get-away with a discount! Not to mention all the Spa & Relaxation and Salon Service offers they make available to everyone in wherever YOUR area is... I promise!
I must mention also that GROUPON always stands behind their purchases. They have excellent customer service... which is very prompt and polite. You will feel taken care of, that is why you will keep coming back.

We are a business in south florida. I call into groupon and say I want to put my business on groupon after seeing a competitor on their site. The rep on the the phone tells me i can't run the same promotion, that i can't sell just one service, i have to offer more services, or packages of services. I said, "but i'm looking online now and my competitor doesn't have to do that." She proceeded to actually yell at me. "ARE YOU LISTENING TO ME?" and proceeded to $#*! me out. So this is what our country and the younger generation has become? I have to tell you, I have worked for national companies my whole life and never have I seen such a poorly run company where sales reps yell at you. I guess as long as you don't have to talk to them, you'll probably do fine. Karma has a strange way of setting the Universe straight. I'm putting this company on the same level as Comcast
I received an invitation to a private warehouse sale and purchased a Saint Laurent bag. It was all kind of sketchy and I should have known but I was assured several times by the manager that the bags were all authentic. Turns out it's not when I had the bag authenticated they gave me a list of reasons the bag was a replica and now I feel stupid. I contacted the guy who put the entire sale together and of course all sales are final. Ideel has no integrity and they don't stand behind the products they sell just trying to steal money out of pockets.
