I like ideeli. The items are always sent out on time and the dates of shipment are clearly listed when ordering. Yes, sometimes orders take weeks but you can't complain because the dates of shipment for each item are listed under the price. It is up to the buyer if they want to wait that long. Ive found some great deals and some good quality pieces, everything has arrived new and in nice red wrapping paper. I had a few issues which were easily resolved by talking to a customer service rep. They're $9.95 monthly shipping charge is very fair if your a frequent shopper, however I wish they offered 2 shipping options, a one time $5.95 or monthly 9.95---that would be awesome! Also, sometimes they advertise red sales but the items I recognize from earlier in the month and at the same full price, I find this deceptive. But I do realize ideeli needs to make $, just dont advertise it as a red or closeout price when it is not.
We were so excited my husband was given this as a birthday gift…. The extra expenses have been ridiculous… extra $100 each to fly out from Brisbane… extra costs to sit together on flight… car hire for 3 days cause a very basic motel is not near city, beach, etc…. We were not honoured any of our three Friday and Saturday night options… had to fly out on a Thursday… taking away our income (haven't even gone and down $1060)… gosh I hope our bottom of the peeking order destination is worth it!
I lost my job due to coronavirus and they refuse to give refunds despite the fact that I cannot pay rent. Completely heartless. I will never use groupon again. They don't care about their customers at all and are very hard to even get a hold of. There is no phone to contact and their website is useless. The dumbass on the livechat was also useless. All they offered was groupon bucks as a "refund" what good is that? I cant pay rent with groupon bucks.
I was gifted a scopon as a gift for a high tea in a CBD location.
We chose the date and there was no issue with our transaction. The food was great the service fantastic.
All in all a great experience
First and foremost, a purchase was made with my card on file that *I* DID NOT MAKE (for CBD oil... something that I never have/will never use). I only found out about it when I saw the charge on my credit card. Secondly, I bought a groupon for carpet cleaning and literally had to fight with the merchant to get him to honor the groupon. He said that groupon was supposed to put in the fine print that the voucher was not good for apartments. I had to threaten him with turning him over to the attorney general's office to get him to honor the groupon.
I purchased a groupon for The Greenbriar with my sister. We had a family emergency and had to cancel the trip. My sister called and received a full refund and I have contacted Groupon four times with no resolution. The first three times they sent me through to a 'board' to hear my situation and was told that they would get back to me within 24-48 hours. I never heard from anyone so my fourth call I asked for a supervisor (Bree Grey). She was absolutely no help and told me there was nothing that she could do and I am not getting a penny back or even a credit through Groupon. She was actually rude and told me that I can call anyone at the company that I would like and would not get anywhere. Read the fine print and assume that if you have a problem they will not help once they have your money.
I moved from Chicago to Colorado with about a half dozed unused Groupons. When I requested they allow me to trade, they declined. When I insisted and threatened to post the truth on Social Media, they sent me an email on a weekday giving me 24 hours to trade them. By the time I opened the email, the deadline had passed. They were worth hundreds of dollars, eyeglasses, massages, etc. I tried to appeal and got a message I am BLOCKED.
I asked for a refund for a trip that I had to cancel. If you book a trip through groupon and have to cancel it, don't expect a refund right away. I had to pay an additional cancellation fee on my credit card before I was given a refund code. I then had to call groupon and give them the refund code. Groupon had to then contact the travel agency to make sure it was approved by them. I was told this would take 3-5 business days. On the fifth day I contacted groupon but they hadn't processed it yet, even though they promised me. I was also told it would take 3-10 more business days to see the refund on my credit card. I will wait the 3-10 days and then change my review.
Groupon gives a three day only refund. How are you supposed to know if a Groupon you purchased is a scam if Qian's Day Spa in Santa Fe, New Mexico won't return your phone call? I purchased a foot massage, and this company will not answer their phone, and will not return phone calls. Groupon should be held responsible for scammers. Groupon needs to make sure a company is valid, and actually in business. As far as I'm concerned; Groupon owes me $45.00 for a foot massage that I paid for that was OFFERED by GROUPON. Groupon is a scam of it own.
The last 3 groupons i purchased for restaurants in Worcester area have had problems. Although i have had table booked at these restaurants, when i arrived i was told they no longer accept groupons.New Inn, Top Grill and Edwards bar. If groupons are no longer accepted. It is groupons responsibility to notify the puchaser. I have had 3 wasted journeys
1st order
Sent me a damaged product and refused to take it back as they do not receive returns on most items.
2nd order
I ordered ten razors and They only sent me half of them.
3rd order
While still trying to use my 1st order credit (that they refused to return) I never received the next order.
Still waiting...
Tip for consumers:
I hear its good for events but NOT good for buying goods!
I went to Groupon to purchase tickets for Universal studios because they had a sale. When I went on and tried to purchase the tickets it failed, so I tried 2 more times. But after that, the tickets were confirmed and I was charged 3 times. When I went to the virtual chat none of the workers would help resolve my issue they kept telling me this "I'm sorry for any trouble here. The Fine Print for this deal indicates that it's Final Sale. This is a condition that was set by the business when they agreed to feature the deal with us. So I'm unfortunately unable to process any refunds for this vouchers." I kept trying to explain to them that there was an error with THEIR SYSTEM but they would still refuse to solve the issue. I tried to call but NO ONE would pick up. I am NEVER using Groupon again this was a terrible experience
Bought a chromebook through Groupon. After a month of waiting for it, it arrived with the screen cracked and unusable. Groupon has not refunded or exchanged my product, and the company that sold it to me through Groupon is not honoring the warranty and claims I have to go through Groupon. I keep getting pleasant emails from Groupon from a computer asking me if my problem has been resolved- no, it hasn't. Nothing has been done. Meanwhile, I'm out $140.00 for a product that is unusable with no customer service to help. Last Groupon I'll ever purchase.
We recently used Groupon to book a hotel. We had a family medical emergency and needed to cancel. We attempted to contact Groupon within the cancellation time. Their website was down. We tried every way possible to contact them, none of their sites worked. We found a number to call and surprise, surprise, no way to speak to a live person. Online chat suspiciously would lose the connection. We called the hotel and they cancelled the room but said we would have to contact expidia to get a refund as that who Groupon booked it through. Expedia had no record of it. By this time we were well past our cancellation time. BEWARE YOU WILL NEVER TALK TO A REAL HUMAN. Will never buy anything from Groupon again. The saving are not worth the hassle.
Wow! What a poor excuse of a company! Ordered a laptop case that was to arrive in7 days. Two months later get an email saying they had to cancel it because of low inventory! WHAAAAT! If anyone else ran their biz this way they would be out of business In a heartbeat. PATHETIC GROUPON
For two services which I bought through Groupon, one, the tree service, has never got back to me after four or five time calling them and giving them all my information, the other one, roof wash, has given me a very high estimate. I called Groupon to cancel my purchases, but they wouldn't give me my money back.
For the tree service which, I have never heard back from them, Groupon is going to give me a goroupon voucher and not giving my money back, and for roof wash they would give anything back, as they claimed cause is past 3 days.
I purchased 3 groupons from the Blue Mountain Crab Company as XMAS gifts. It was a $19 cost for a $40 coupon. I saw that there was shipping costs and thought that shipping 1 lb of crabmeat couldn't be that expensive. It was $38 to ship if from Baltimore to Northern Va. $13 in 'packing' fees and $25 in shipping. How ridiculous is that? Will probably cost $50 to ship it to TN where I live. Stay away from both Blue Mountain Crab AND Groupon unless you want to sit and read all the fine print for the next hour or consult a lawyer. When I called Groupon to complain about it, they said they were sorry I was confused. Give me a break!
I bought a one year subscription thru Groupon for BJs I went to BJs and they had no record of my information I got in touch with Groupon and they had no information. But my bank account was charged for it. So they stole my money
If I could give it lower than one star I would bought shoes had to chase delivery after 6 weeks,, eventually arrived sent wrong size, printed their returns slip, posted shoes back asking for refund. 4 weeks later contacted there sad excuse for customer services. Said had I got proof of postage,, I said no but I asked them to check the returns. They said they could not help in any way, I complained again but they never bother replied. So no shoes no refund... DONT BUY VIA THIS COMPANY..
I received a groupon from my sister for a massage for my birthday... after months of cancellations because of covid, i finally made an appointment... I could not find the coupon so i contacted groupon to find out what i should do... I got no response, so itried a couple more times & finally got a response, we can't help you because your sister bought the groupon... they would not even bother to advise me if there was anything i could do to resolve this lost coupon... i feel after they were paid, they wanted nothing more to do with this transaction... their customer service is terrible & i would not recommend
I have been burned for the last time with the misleading advertisement from this company. The next morning when I noticed I had been mislead I called to cancel my order. I was told I had two hours from the time I placed the order to cancel... Two hours! It hadn't shipped, but it was still too late.
Recently I bought a Groupon, but I forgot to use a promo code. I asked if I could cancel and re-purchase because the difference was $80. I was told that wouldn't be equitable for Groupon. I've been a good customer for several years, and they wouldn't bend. They tried to get me to believe that the promo code wouldn't work for my deal, but I had referred someone who did get the 20% off his price. I pleaded as a matter of principle, but Groupon didn't care when I said I couldn't shop with them anymore. Nothing I said made any difference. Groupon would rather dump a customer than to make a good business decision. They finally offered me a measley $5, which to me was the same as leaving a bad tip at a restaurant. I no longer will be a Groupon shopper because I know that the customer DOESN't come first.
I recently purchased burberry men's cologne from groupon goods. It was my first purchase from groupon goods and my LAST. I received women's perfume. Which is different from men's cologne. I called customer service and they told me I have to ship the items back to groupon goods since they only purchased limited quantities of the product. When I take time from a busy job to go to the post office to ship the item back to groupon goods, I must then wait until groupon receives that order before they credit my credit card. I should note that they offered to credit my groupon account $10. I redused and told them I would never use groupon goods again.
I bought a consealed weapon course for my husband as a gift in October of 2012. My husband attempted to schedule a course with the vendor for several months to no avail as the vendor had no availability and no new courses were scheduled. When I contacted groupon's customer service, I've been told to... wait for it... give it as a gift to someone else!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? Or wait until it expires so I could apply the same dollar credit to another course WITH THE SAME VENDOR! 'Cuz you know... apparently that's what the "fine print" states. Thieves! Please please please stay away. Groupon is a fraud!
The app is set up to fool you. I looked at an offer and left GroupMe app to get card info. When logging back in to purchase it charged me three times because I just clicked on the item I wanted... ONE OF. And had to come back to the site. Never authorized 3 purchases!
REFUSES TO GIVE REDUND
Tip for consumers:
That they suck
I promised my kids they would be able to go to a local camp this summer. I didn't tell them until my purchase was confirmed. Later, I found out that the camps were unavailable--something neither Groupon nor the company offering the camp's website said. As far as I knew, I had purchased spots and the camps were open (per the website). When I called the camp to confirm, they informed me there were not enough spots for the camps I had purchased. $118 out of my bank account, upfront, and NOTHING to show for it. The person at the "camp" then tried to up-sell me into a full-cost versions of the same camps. The person I spoke to at the camp also told me, at the time of the company's sign-up with Groupon, they informed Groupon their spaces were nearly full! Therefore, more people were likely to BUY the Groupon, upfront, only to find there wasn't a camp available! I will NEVER do business with Groupon or the company offering the camp, again!
The product is LOW guality! The instruction from the package comes in Chinese writing!
Follow the instructions on line but NO WAY the eye lashes looks natural! They are so full of black clumps, and even after applying the second coat with gel they keep falling under the eyes!
This was my second attempt to buy this product because for the first time I believe that I did not used properly!
But was not me!... THE PRODUCT IS REALLY LOW, LOW qualities!
I am an old customer of groupon and so far I was satisfied with my orders. This time I am really shocked that this kind of product can be sold and also coming with instructions written in Chinese ONLY!
Big time disappointing!
And sure thinks the product can not be returned: final price!, no return!
To all customers, this was my bad experience with mascara... and after you try to wash your eyes or use make up clothes black debris are left inside your eyes!
JUST A BAD PRODUCT!
