I like ideeli. The items are always sent out on time and the dates of shipment are clearly listed when ordering. Yes, sometimes orders take weeks but you can't complain because the dates of shipment for each item are listed under the price. It is up to the buyer if they want to wait that long. Ive found some great deals and some good quality pieces, everything has arrived new and in nice red wrapping paper. I had a few issues which were easily resolved by talking to a customer service rep. They're $9.95 monthly shipping charge is very fair if your a frequent shopper, however I wish they offered 2 shipping options, a one time $5.95 or monthly 9.95---that would be awesome! Also, sometimes they advertise red sales but the items I recognize from earlier in the month and at the same full price, I find this deceptive. But I do realize ideeli needs to make $, just dont advertise it as a red or closeout price when it is not.
We were so excited my husband was given this as a birthday gift…. The extra expenses have been ridiculous… extra $100 each to fly out from Brisbane… extra costs to sit together on flight… car hire for 3 days cause a very basic motel is not near city, beach, etc…. We were not honoured any of our three Friday and Saturday night options… had to fly out on a Thursday… taking away our income (haven't even gone and down $1060)… gosh I hope our bottom of the peeking order destination is worth it!
I have tried for 4 days to get ahold of groupons customer support and I cannot get anyone to respond. I have a voucher that cannot be accepted and I can't get help. This is not good business practice do they not care about there customers.
They are more concerned about me signing up for there select.

Most businesses that offer groupons do so because they need the business. These may be newer businesses that don't have the experience established businesses have. I recently bought a 'no chip' shellac manicure and it started chipping the next day. Groupon's customer service was NO help. I had to call 3 times, and each customer service rep gave me different info on refund policies. In the end I did not get my refund because they said I was over the 3 day refund period. DONT BUY THE BEAUTY GROUPONS!
I've gotten a few things from them which were as expected, but have 2 bad experiences that will cause me to not use them anymore. First was a $200 boat rental that took a month of no responses from the vendor and then back and forth with Groupon to get a "credit", not refund. Now I have $200 to spend somewhere else on their site. Recently I purchase an alignment from an auto shop. The shop was difficult on the first attempt and wouldn't schedule an appt and on the 2nd attempt their equipment broke down. They are 25 minutes away so I requested a credit as I wasn't happy with the auto shop and was told by Groupon no. They said too bad and to give it to someone else. They took a week to respond to the inquiry. Now I have $150 left in credits to be unhappy with.
Bought tickets to an aquarium as advertized. They were supposedly (did not actually try) tickets to a different museum, so they were useless to the venue for which they were sold. Total false advertizing. The aquarium has not accepted Groupon tickets for 4 years.
I had purchased a massage and the merchant kept canceling my appointments. Groupon customer service would not refund me the purchase amount. Thus, groupon is a risk as the merchant may not honor the groupon and groupon will not provide a refund. It can save alot, but it is a risk and can cost you $ if a merchant does not honor the groupon. Beware of Groupon's customer service and refund policy!
I would give Groupon negative stars if I could. I had asked to cancel to cancel my order and was told yesterday that it was canceled and that I would not be charged. I woke up to see that I was not only charged for the origional order but a second one as well! Customer support is a joke. They only have an online chat but as soon as they don't know how to answer a question they become unresponsive.

They do not guantee their deliveries. The packages are routed via UPS and then locally delivered via USPS and often times the packages are left outside the mailbox or shoved inside your mailbox. If your mailbox is near main street, you will have to find another shipping address, otherwise you are throwing money away on orders you will never receive. In addition, customer sevice reps (via chat) are RUDE! And supervisors don't bother to return your call if you have issues that need to be addressed. You have to wait at least a 2 weeks average to get your FREE shipping after you have paid $9 for one months worth of free shipping and sizes are often times misrepresented. If I could, I would give this site NO STARS!
BAD! Go in to purchase a groupon today... while I have the purchase page on, I had to check the recheck rules to make sure I had all the details correct... then suddenly Im locked out. The deal has maxed out. In other words, while I was making my purchase they allowed someone else to snake in underneath me and close the deal on me. WTF! Cmon guys, give us a minute or so to finalize the process. Thats such BS! Would love to YELP this, but Hmm... groupon isn't yelpable... I wonder why! Im so pissed off about this...
I got two groupons from Elle message. Made the appointments, the day of my appointment the place texts me, doesn't call to cancel my appointments. I tried rescheduling 3 different times. I tried emailing, texting multiple times and tried calling. I even went up to the place to find that it was a small business in another business. They wanted me to wait until she came out of an appointment just to rebook my appointment. So disgusted with Groupon because I told them what was going on and they said they wouldn't refund because it was after 3 days and that if I really wanted to then just give it away as a gift. First off one of them was a gift for my mother. And now neither one of us got the message because no one would ever reply back. Never again will I ever get a Groupon. And I will make sure to tell everyone and anyone how bad the customer service is. It was my first time and I was excited and now you have one extremely angry person.
What a nightmare this company is! I ordered 2 helicopters through GROUPON... NEVER AGAIN! Ordered last year, first one was faulty and I have tried contacting to get a replacement one by phone/email/ and via Groupon, over 60 times, not even a response! I actually had to return 2 groupons and the customre service was awesome. I ordered 2 groupons, and once a friend and I went to the business they were charging an upgrade for the service we wanted, so we decided to return the groupon. It was a Saturday so we both sent emails to the customer service email and received an email back on Monday. I instantly got a groupon credit refund, and they request more information from her. We called on Monday afternoon, with no wait during the call, and I requested to get a credit back to my card instead of a groupon, and she requested a credit back to the card as well. We both got exactly what we asked for, with little questions asked. Awesome and super easy!
NEVER EVER BUY GOODS! I have had 2 bad experiences with Groupon Goods and they REFUSE to provide any customer services. I waited 20 days and sent 4 emails regarding a product for my brothers birthday before they told me that they could not fulfill the order. When I purchased, it guaranteed delivery in 2 weeks. It took them FOUR emails to even acknowledge my disappointment and then once they did, they pretty much said "oh well". There are far too many of these websites to take your customers for granted.
I do like Groupon a lot and have been using this app occasionally. However, I was looking up getaways/travel with all inclusives and was very disappointed by the limited options that they have with travel from airport. Most of the airports are in the eastcoast. I live in OR and could only find 1 or 2 options and they are so much more expensive than other airports. :( wish there would be more

Groupon is a scam. I purchased a product for medical service. I mad an appt for the service 2 weeks out, I took time off the the procedure. I received a call 1 week later saying that the dr did not do procedures on the day I made the appointment. The deal did not say it was limited to one day a week. I contacted Groupon and 1 week later I still not have received a response from groupon. Groupon and Totalmedsolutions are nothing but scam artist.
I ordered Beat Mixrs on December 21st and they came in today; December 29th in the original boxing and were in new condition as well! I will be using this company again and I'm very satisfied, thank you so much Groupon!
I bought a Groupon for a service offered by a business. The business only honored part (about 2/3rds) of the services listed on the Groupon, and then their customer service was horrid when I asked about the rest.
I commented on my experience with the business using the form on the Groupon website. Groupon contacted me via email within 1 day, and offered a FULL refund, no questions asked (and I had not even requested a refund!). They also apologized profusely for the customer service I got from the business itself. They replied to every follow-up email I sent after (some questions on where to apply the refund) that the SAME day, and were extremely friendly, flexible, and helpful.
This was my first Groupon, and I was happy to buy another today after my positive experience with them. Some of the businesses that offer the Groupons may suck, but Groupon itself gets an easy A+.
What a crock of... This groupon company is-you can buy accomodation voucher for gili Islands bali -try to use the voucher and sure they have vacancies at villa ombak but you can't get to GIli Trawangan as all transportation is cancelled to get there due to high seas-groupon response absolutely NO help at all despite following all the guidelines for supposed full refund -as expected their response claim from your travel insurance

Do not do business through this website. I get that it tries to save you money but at the end of it all it's not worth it. You might as well save yourself the headache and just pay the full price. I bought a spa treatment for my friend for her as a birthday present. You need a voucher when you go to the place so they can have it for their records. Cannot access my voucher just keeps coming up unavailable (see picture below). I have been in constant contact with customer service and have spoken with at least 5 people, 2 of which said my voucher was available but when I got to print it off it still says unavailable. The other 3 just wanted me to either get off the phone or get off their live chat before they could help fix my problem. Or they would tell me that I need to wait a day or two before I'm able to see it due to "maintenance". So I gave them 3 days and still nothing. Their customer service is terrible and a joke and I would NOT recommend using them. If I could give this "service" a 0 star I would.
This was my first and most likely last transaction with Groupon. Received an email for $10 off my next Groupon purchase. Tried to buy 2 movie tickets for $17 dollars. Checkout said the coupon code wasn't valid. Looked at terms and conditions to see if I was doing something wrong. After finding nothing, I attempted to locate customer support. WTF? There is no easy way to get to customer support. When I FINALLY located it and started a chat session, the site disconnected me. I opened another session and the person told me that for the promotion to work, I need to purchase one item that is above $10, not just the order. Nowhere did it say this and the rep couldn't tell me where to find it. The email didn't state it; the terms didn't state that; only the rep stated that! Thanks for wasting my time!
The restaurant deals are consumer fraud. The list prices are not prices used in restaurants. The discounts you receive from real prices are far lower. I have seen the same deal sold for the same restaurant at 2 different prices ( $29 and $43) at the same time. Customer service is a joke (bad). When complaining to them about an expiring deal, I was told i would get a response within 24 hours. I was still being sent from 1 rep to another who promised to get back to me asap after 48 hours. When i complained about the deal itself, I was told they were not responsible for the merchant and refused to honor the guarantee that they promised on their website.
STAY AWAY FROM GROUPON AND THEIR DEALS
I had a Groupon account with an active Groupon on it and $100 in credits. I didn't buy anything in a while due to Covid, yet Groupon unilaterally without first reaching out to me CLOSED MY ACCOUNT and kept all my $$$$. No effort to contact me first. When I realized it I contacted them and they reactivated my account, but I think it was a bad faith $$$ grab by the company. Stay away. Dishonest business people.
They charge ahead but if you have any problems with marchandiser they leave you alone. They dont return money either... They said to me that Merchandiser is refusing to provide service and they told me to give a voucher as gift... WTF! Why I would do that, I want money back!
I get the sense Ideeli has a huge shipping problem. TWO out of my FOUR items have been "lost." They blame UPS.
However, neither of my "lost" items had working tracking numbers. I was cordial with customer service and politely asked when I would get my order and why the tracking number wasn't working. They replied it is a KNOWN PROBLEM and it shouldn't affect my delivery.
Hmm. Well, I don't think the packages actually existed. Ideeli couldn't give me a working tracking number or an ETA. After FIVE e-mails (no phone number), the customer service rep just said it's lost and I'd get a refund!
I'm irate I won't be getting my items I was dying to get. But, I'm more upset I didn't get a more honest answer. Ideeli lost it--not UPS.
Ordering from Ideeli is like playing the lottery.
Use RueLaLa, HauteLook, or Gilt instead. Ideeli doesn't have their stuff together.

I purchased a microblading Groupon. Scheduled an appointment to get the service performed and 2 weeks later my eyebrows looked exactly like they did before the treatment. Two weeks later I went in for a followup and the employee told me that I received the normal service for the cost of the Groupon. It was advertised as a $350 treatment and full eyebrows, but she stated that I paid $100 and that was the value of the treatment I received. Some time ago this was a good value, reputable website to try new services and local businesses, BUT NO MORE!

They may also have a service where they can hold packages for you to pick up from them if the area in which they deliver them is not satisfactory for you.
We do provide the expected shipping windows for all of our items, many of which do have about a two week turnaround, and you can place as many orders as you want within the 30 days since the shipping dates have nothing to do with the 30 days of free shipping, it only means that you have to place the order within 30 days of paying for the shipping.
