For exactly 120 for a couples massage was not reflected on my account. I contacted groupon and gave them the order number in question as well as screenshots of my confirmation email. Instead of inquiring on the issue they refunded a second groupon voucher I bought for a movie ticket in the amount of 26.45 when I paid 29.45 and skipped out on paying my 3 additional dollars. When I contacted them a third time, my email was blocked. I would have been fine calling and explain this issue but there is no customer service number. Beware of the bs. Groupon is sketchy.
We were so excited my husband was given this as a birthday gift…. The extra expenses have been ridiculous… extra $100 each to fly out from Brisbane… extra costs to sit together on flight… car hire for 3 days cause a very basic motel is not near city, beach, etc…. We were not honoured any of our three Friday and Saturday night options… had to fly out on a Thursday… taking away our income (haven't even gone and down $1060)… gosh I hope our bottom of the peeking order destination is worth it!
I bought a Groupon and the code never worked. I followed all the instructions about customer support and it didn't work. Now they say that they can't refund my money.
If you buy something, it's delivered and have a question. YOU'RE OUT OF LUCK. I ordered a pair of sneakers that don't fit, I wanted wide but that did not display as an option when my original order displayed Medium. I wanted to ask why I found a number to call and when you call it and choose the correct option for ask about a received item, it tells you where to get info online AND IT'S WRONG! Then it disconnects the call. As a public company, now the most important thing is the bottom line not realizing that offering NO customer support is hurting sales!
I have purchased a large number of Groupon deals. Some of the products are good and a bargain. Some are marginal but what you'd expect for the price. However, I purchased a carpeting cleaning deal to be fulfilled by a company called National Dusters. When I called to schedule an appointment, they told me they did not service my area. I promptly notified Groupon by responding to an email I received from them. When my credit card bill arrived, I discovered that Groupon had billed me for the deal AND National Dusters had billed me an amount that was greater than the deal price. Since the Groupon website did not provide any obvious information as how to contact Customer Service, I went to my credit card company. They were unable to resolve the issue. I went back to Groupon and tried several things that were supposed to get me to customer service. The best I could do, was to get into a loop that sent me non-nonsensical emails. I emailed National Dusters and thus far have not received a response. Before this, I would have given Groupon a good rating, but this experience has resulted in two stars which is probably more than they deserve.
I wish I had read the reviews first. I've been a member since Oct. 2009 My first buy shipped when it was supposed to and I didn't have an issue with it, but my second buy, I placed my order in 12/30/09 and I was told that it'll ship between the Jan. 15 to the 22. And it shipped on the 15th, still no problem I got the dress on 1/21 after 6:30 pm still no problem only to try it on and it's big on me. So I thought to return it, so the NEXT Friday, 1/22 I log on to start the return process only to find out I can no longer return it! WHAT! According to their policy I am SUPPOSED to 14 days from the shipping date which was Jan 15th. I've emailed them twice and still no response. I will file a complaint with the BBB. I CANNOT believe it's their policy yet they don't honor it! Do not join... STAY AWAY!
I ordered 5 TV trays from Groupon, I'm in jersey and my order was delivered to Kentucky, costumer service said they gave me bad tracking info, it would be delivered the next day but a week later still no delivery
I purchased a Christmas present through Groupon Goods Global GmbH, I will NEVER use them again, firstly the product was wrong (was meant to be wireless headphones, they weren't wireless), I then sent an email straight away and returned the product at the first possible chances. After 2 emails and 4 phone calls I've only had one email back which gave me no further information. Their Customer Service is shocking (the actual people who deal with the complaints are helpful enough but can't actually tell you anything) they can't advertise products correctly or do any kind of exchange for the actual product I paid for. DO NOT USE
Ordered online - got a great deal. Shipping time was decent and product was as described. They didn't go out of there way for anything, but wasn't expecting them to either. Very Happy with purchase.
Really great customer service - UPS messed up my delivery, and Ideeli reshipped free of charge even though it was totally not their fault. No hassle and quick response.
Hi Cynthia: It's great to hear from you. We hope you have plenty more positive shopping experiences with us in the future. Thanks for the comment.

Their merchants are really aiming to loose customers even before having them!
Besides some scammers, like PEARL NATIONAL, others just take a month or more to conclude the transaction and send you the items you ordered (EXTREME FLIERS & mygadgetsandgifts).
The PEARL NATIONAL situation is serious though: I've spent £90 for a stupid teeth withening session, but these people have disappeared before I could take my session. And it has been impossible even for Groupon to reach them apparently.
But yet, after more than 1 month, I'm still waiting the decency from Groupon to refund me. I. E. Customer service is pretty bad!
They have sure lost a good client... and everyone else I can tell my story too!
I purchased a groupon in November for a night stay at a Vancouver Hotel which had to be used by March 31,2010. I was hoping to use the coupon to attend a meeting which was changed to April 16th. I tried to cancel which groupon would not do - they said to give it as a gift to someone else if I couldn't use it. I then tried to book the hotel on 2 different dates which were "FULL". I would suggest not buying anything that you are unsure of as groupon does not honor the little box in the bottom of the screen which indicates Our Promise To You - Customers are everything just call us and we will refund - they NEVER refund - your money goes into a bank to be used for purchase of other offers. $149 is a healthy sum to be out of when not fullfilling their offer.
I purchased several items quite pricey in other places. When nly one time I need it to return an item it was fast got my money and never regret buying from them.
DO NOT USE THIS SITE in my opinion. They do not stand behind their customers and refuse to refund money. I purchased a $225 deal from them and when I called the vendor to schedule an appointment, I was told they had nothing for over 2 months! This was a service I needed soon, not in TWO MONTHS! I contacted Groupon and complained that this company and Groupon should have advertised that they were booked for 2 months and I asked for a refund. I was told I could only get a refund in Groupon Credits. I do not want $225 in Groupon credits b/c I will never use them again if this is how they do business. So basically they stole $225 from me.
Ideeli was the first of the online TJ Maxx/Marshalls/etc sites that I ever used. It has certainly contributed a fair amount to my wardrobe.
Shipping:
I generally find the shipping from Ideeli to be, well, ideal. The other sites HauteLook, JackThreads, Fab, etc all seem to have made me wait longer than Ideeli ever has before shipping out my item(s). They also only make you pay once a day for shipping, which is genius for a site that promotes such impulse purchases as this genre does.
Checkout Process:
As a website designer that has worked on User Experience, Ideeli blew me away. There whole checkout process is meticulously geared at getting you to confirm your purchase without really thinking twice. Because of this, be careful with this website if you don't have the purchasing liberty granted by large amounts of disposable income.
Variety:
They tend towards the higher end items but for pretty deep discounts. They upgraded me to the advanced member section free for 3 months so I could get in on sales before they sold out. That was a bit of a waste. I didn't find that I had any more spectacular options for savings. This may very well be different if I wasn't a male. The site obviously has far more options for females. Blast! But welcome to the plight of the fashionable, straight male.
Overall, I like Ideeli and check it regularly. They have solid customer support and I have yet to be 'screwed over' by them. However, I have found myself ordering from Jack Threads more of late; mainly because they carry more casual summer wear options for young men.
Hi Garrett,
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your shopping experience here on SiteJabber. I'm so glad to hear that you are enjoying the sales and that you are satisfied with our site layout and shipping.
You're right that we do offer more options for women than men, but our offerings for men continue to grow, so please continue to check your ideeli emails for information about upcoming sales and more great deals.
I sincerely appreciate your comments, and please don't hesitate to send me a message if you ever have any questions. Happy shopping!

I've never called a company to complain before, however I've made an exception for Groupon - after ordering an item on Christmas Day with an expected delivery time of 7 working days and having not received it last week, I sent 3 emails to them with no reply, then after checking my account on their website I saw they had credited it with the funds from the item and no explanation why. Upon calling their unhelpful helpline and being in the queue for 20 minutes, and listening to a recorded message repeatedly telling me "we are experiencing high call volumes" (why am I not surprised) I got told they lost it in the post and there were no other items to send in their warehouse... Thank you very much for contacting me and telling me this information... And they won't even refund the money back to my bank account. I now have Groupon "credit" which I will never use and won't get my money back... Absolutely useless, waste of time and money - SHAM of a company. I advise everyone to never use this disgraceful company... This is also the message I left on their FB page in which I received a reply stating my complaint had been passed onto the UK team to look into... Almost a week ago and still NOTHING! Worst customer service I have ever experienced... And I'm still £19 out of pocket and I've had to buy a replacement gift from elsewhere for double the price... I cannot stress this anymore, don't ever purchase from these people, they are thieving pigs
Ordered a jacket way on 11/12/2017 it states receive in 10 business days here it's 12/18/2017 still no jacket emailed customer service they keep telling me to reach out to the merchant SISTERSTORES How the $#*! am I supposed to do that with no contact information can't even find them on Google you would think if I done emailed over 4 times you would give me the information I'm demanding a refund they're still saying reach out to the merchant I will never order anything off Groupon ever again they need to start putting background checks on their bogus $#*! merchants. Least if I would have went to Wish they would have assured me of my items and the correct time frame. I suggest don't buy anything from Groupon cause you might not get it.
Oh cool. My Groupon account has been hacked and someone made a nice purchase from the Beauty Services category... at my expense. I just saw it on my credit card statement. 1 hour trying to reach Groupon by phone; they have disabled all their phone numbers recently despite the surge in account hackings. I was forced to use the Chat option and got a girl who didn't know what the hell she was talking about, who needed 5 minutes to respond to every question, and who said they "need to investigate". She was asking me to be patient. She basically meant "be patient while someone else uses your entire credit card funds". I can't believe what a terrible company this is. I just went to do some research and apparently it happens to a large number of groupon members. Needless to say, i deleted my credit card info from my account and filed a dispute with my credit card.
However, i will never deal with this company again. They must have some big fat competitor out there who learned from their mistakes to do better business. Groupon know all the hackings going on, and they still didn't enable phone customer service, and they did not secure their system. Furthermore, they offer no other option but to save your payment information which i never like to do. Why should we put money in their pocket? At least i noticed but i am shocked by their carelessness. DON'T use this company.
BEWARE! I am 99% sure this site is a scam. I placed an order at the beginning of the week and was called to 'verify' the order. They left a voicemail with instructions. I called back and followed the instructions within a couple of hours. The next day, I get a call to verify my order from Shayna with Loss Prevention who says there was no record of my confirming the order the day before. She says that they only have a recording of a different order #-- one I had canceled. She lied to me completely and refused to play back the recording for me. The outfits I had ordered were time sensitive and I had chosen 2 day shipping so they wouldn't get to me til after the weekend I needed them. I asked her who was doing the shipping and she hesitated before saying UPS. It was like she was trying to come up with an answer. Pathetic. I had them cancel the order because I caught on to their scam. I warn others to do the same!
Hi Bonnie,
Thanks for giving us your feedback on SiteJabber. I'm sorry to hear about the inconveniences that occurred when our team tried to speak with you to verify the order. I can assure you there is no scam and we did intend to send out your items. From time to time we do need to verify information before we can process an order.
After speaking with you, Shanna did pass along the information to one of our supervisors who, upon looking into it further, was able to locate your original voicemail. I'm very sorry that it was misfiled and that the original order was canceled in error. Since she wasn't able to locate the recording, she say anything about what was in the voicemail, due to the fact it wasn't located until she was able to escalate it to a supervisor. I'm sorry that you felt she was being dishonest, but since it was misfiled, as we found out after, she was unable to listen to it and gave you what she thought was the correct information.
In regards to our shipping methods, all expedited shipments go out through UPS. Further information, as well as why you were called about this order, can be found here: https://support.ideel.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/243/related/1. Information about our non-expedited shipping methods you can view here: https://support.ideel.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/175
If you'd like to reorder these items, or another expedited shipment, I'll be happy to waive the overnight shipping charge for you. Please send me a message and I'll be happy to help. I deeply apologize for the miscommunications that occurred and thank you for being a part of Ideel.

First time buyer. Purchased an Xtreme 2600mAh Portable Battery Charger. Doesn't work when you need it even fully loaded. Needed it today on the road,... didn't work at all.
Very disappointed.
Every time I scroll through Groupon it's amazing how I always find the one thing that I was always looking for and most of the time I didn't even know I was looking for it... lol The prices are amazing and I have never had a problem getting the item I purchased or using there code and redeeming it at a website.
As a "reputable" and well known website, you would think they have done their due diligence to research a business's reliability, or at the very least, legitimacy. After purchasing a Groupon on their site for music studio lessons, I tried several times to contact the business to book my session. The studio does not exist! The number goes straight to voicemail, to which I have never received a call back, and the "website" connected to the account leads me to a link that I have to 'subscribe' to in order to SEE THE CONTENT! When Googled and Facebooked, I can find no mention of the Studio AT ALL.
Maybe I am naive for assuming that in order to advertise your business on Groupon, Groupon would conduct the most basic of background checks. After contacting Groupon to rectify this matter, I have had little communication with a representative more than a week later.
VERY disappointing!
I've spent over $1500 on nearly 40 items over the last year from Ideeli. The more I deal with them, the less satisfied I am.
To begin, the site has a lot of label overlap with other sites like Hautelook, but without the value. You can expect to pay at least 30-50% more for the same item at Ideeli. Also, there's a lot of redundancy. I've seen items regurgitated several times over the course of a few weeks with little to no price change.
Quality control is horrible from site presentation to shipping and customer service. I could go into a lot of detail concerning the fidelity of the images on the web-site (color, sizing, etc.), packaging (ripped, destroyed packages really; inadequate tape; bundling items to skim on shipping charges; dumping to Post Office for delivery; high $10 initial shipping charge), slow response to e-mail inquiries, failure to respond accurately to return requests, inadequate inspection of merchandise for sale (like delivering pink underwear that's described and shown as very red), damaged items, wrong items, mis-labled items.
In particular, my last return involved several of the above issues all rolled into a prime example of how poorly this company executes. I ended up paying $40 in shipping for return items that didn't fit, were damaged, or not what I ordered.
The bottom line is that this company doesn't measure up to the competition, and there's no reason to do business with them. Once my store credit is used, I'll be adding them to the spam filter.

The deals that you can get from this company are usually pretty good. But for some reason when you go to use it most of the time the purchase you got to use always tells you there is some kind of fine print that only allows this or that, but for some reason the fine print is rarely found. And on top of this it's got to be the worst customer service on the Earth. They tell you to chat to email and other things and leave a message for a call back either by email, or chat and yet even though I have done so nobody ever calls back. Even when I order something and it says it's been processed and a minute later it says refunded, it tells you to call the same number that only has a recording that gives you options on how to resolve your problems. But once you have exhausted all of those options and not have worked so far you are just stuck out. Because nothing gets done. They are also associated with living social which is another place that also has good deals what is the same as Groupon oh, so you can actually not talk to anybody there either. They really need to do something about the customer service it's brutal!
I'm so surprised to see negative reviews here. I live in DC and have used Groupon about 4 times so far, all with outstanding results. I've gotten 50% off The Melting Pot (still my favorite, I hope that coupon comes around again soon), a super cheap massage, and tickets to a wine tasting. Another time, I was just about to buy a membership to my local yoga studio, when I got a Groupon offering 60% off to that very same studio! I spent $45 instead of $108. Every time I ordered a Groupon, I received confirmation and a receipt within 24 hours. It seems like maybe some people are just in a rush to accuse everything online to be a scam--you have to understand that you aren't their only customer, and sometimes orders take a little longer than usual. Sure, you have to be careful on the internet, but Groupon is 100% legit. Like any other business, I'm sure it makes mistakes, but I'm sure a lot of these complaints are also due to people not reading the fine print. I look forward every day to seeing my new coupons--give it a try, it's awesome!
Did not get the item I order. Had an horrible customer service experience where I was hang up once and told that I would be called back also (never happenned)
Groupon is the largest "daily deal" site, selling vouchers for discounted local experiences and services such as restaurants and spas, as well as travel packages, shopping, and a number of other items. Vouchers are purchased upfront and typically must be redeemed by a certain date, after which time Groupons expire. To businesses Groupon markets itself as a way to drive new customers. Groupon is a public company (NASDAQ: GRPN) and is based in Chicago, IL.
Hi: I am sorry for the inconvenience. I want to assure you that we do honor our shipping and return policies, as outlined on our website ( http://support.ideeli.com). Please contact us at support@ideeli.com if this issue still has not been resolved, and we will be happy to assist you directly. Thank you for the feedback.
