For exactly 120 for a couples massage was not reflected on my account. I contacted groupon and gave them the order number in question as well as screenshots of my confirmation email. Instead of inquiring on the issue they refunded a second groupon voucher I bought for a movie ticket in the amount of 26.45 when I paid 29.45 and skipped out on paying my 3 additional dollars. When I contacted them a third time, my email was blocked. I would have been fine calling and explain this issue but there is no customer service number. Beware of the bs. Groupon is sketchy.
We were so excited my husband was given this as a birthday gift…. The extra expenses have been ridiculous… extra $100 each to fly out from Brisbane… extra costs to sit together on flight… car hire for 3 days cause a very basic motel is not near city, beach, etc…. We were not honoured any of our three Friday and Saturday night options… had to fly out on a Thursday… taking away our income (haven't even gone and down $1060)… gosh I hope our bottom of the peeking order destination is worth it!
So my groupon expired but on the info it stated amount paid never expires as most do. However, apparently they do because im out $30.
I was on the internet looking to do a review on groupon and dealfind from a buisness aspect. The economy has effect our buiness this winter. Things have been slow so I found myself turning to dealfind hoping this would help. It started with a contract with dealfind.com where we would offer 6 laser hair removal treatments for $99.00. Two weeks later they contacted me again and said if I dropped down to $89.00 they would put my ad in sooner and promised me the dates. Desperate to see some cash flow I agreed. Two days before the ad was going to be posted on there website I recieved another phone call from dealfind asking me to drop down to $79.00 dollars or they would put another laser company on instead of us. Well needless to say I cancelled my contract with them. Please beware of dealfinds unprofessional sales staff that promise things they do not keep. I should of went with my original instincts and stayed away. They are not looking out for small buisness and making it really tough on us to make any profit. Considering they take 50% plus 2.5% merchant charges and we would do all the work. I wanted to make sure that companies know what they are getting into.
Beware of deals that seem to good to be true. Remember you get what you pay for. If companys are giving there service away, you will not get quality service with these coupons. Merchants and consumers need to be aware.
I placed an order for a michael kors watch it said would ship in two days. 3 weeks later shipping was pending. They told me the manufactoring company is sending the watch it will be 1 or 2 more days. 2 days go buy nothing. I check online if the watch is still available to be purchased again and the answer was YES. So they did have it in stock. So i emailed them they told me the manufactorer couldnt fullfill my order? How is that possible when your selling the same watch i bought again? I WILL NEVER BUY ANYTHING IN THIS SITE AGAIN. EVERYTHING WAS A LIE LIE LIE. GOING TO EMAIL THEM TO DELETE MY ACCOUNT. STOP SELLING THINGS IF YOUR NOT GOING TO SHIP THEM OUT! HORRIBLE!
When I signed up as a Groupon Merchant to offer groupon deals, I did it as a way to give my business a jump start. I started a campaign, and was advised to offer 70% off of my services. Now, I am further along in my business, do not need Groupon anymore, and have paused the campaign (didn't see any way to take the campaign down). When I called Groupon over a year later to see if they could help me take the campaign down, I was told that they will not remove a campaign, nor will they remove my account. This is BAD for business, as it now looks like I continue to offer massive discounts to my clients and makes me look desperate for business. The reason it's so bad is that it STILL shows up in internet search engines when someone searches for my business... EVEN THOUGH IT IS "PAUSED". Groupon, please fix this. There should absolutely be a way to take down a campaign once you've decided you no longer want to offer it (say, a YEAR later). Or to remove your account from Groupon Merchant. I'm really disappointed. I don't know how this helps you all at all, but it's very discouraging on a business's end.
The same has happened to me. NEVER WILL I EVER BE PURCHASING FROM THIS SHAM OF A SITE AGAIN. My 1st voucher was for a restaurant valid every day of the week during 3 months. When the voucher was sent it said suddenly that the voucher can't be used on weekends. ( that was a problem)... anyway... I called a week after and the restaurant told me they are fully booked due to xmas... I should call back in January. I did that and was told that they are fully booked with Groupon users til the end of the voucher. So the restaurant manager recommended me to call my bank and ask them to do a chargeback. He also told me he had lots of groupon customers complaining and ending up calling their banks.
2nd trial was for teeth bleaching... 80 GBP. The booking number on the voucher was wrong so there was no way of getting hold of the dental company. They send a revision of the number 1 week later. I called the dentist and was told I could get an appointment within 6 months. I tried to cancel the voucher... no reply for 1 weeks. After 1 months I was told I won't get my money back but I can have groupon credits ( who would want that after 2 failures out of 2?).

Groupon has some good deals, but watch out there are some incredible ripoffs.
I just recently used one for Boulevard 18 in New Canaan, CT and paid $157 for "3 course dinner for 4 WITH A BOTTLE OF WINE", but it only included 2 appetizers, and 2 desserts, HOWEVER THE BIG RIPOFF IS THAT IT STATES THAT YOU CAN HAVE ANY BOTTLE OF WINE UP TO $36, BUT THE FACT IS PRETTY MUCH ALL THE WINES ON THE MENU ARE ALL PRICED BETWEEN $50 AND $100 PER BOTTLE AND THEY HAVE ONLY FRENCH WINES. I WAS TOLD I COULD ORDER WINES BY THE GLASS, BUT AT THE END OF THE MEAL IT TURNS OUT THAT WINES BY THE GLASS DO NOT APPLY THE $36 DEAL.

If the thousands of terrible customer reviews all over the internet aren't enough to get the attention of the idiotic CEO to make proper changes to this fraud of a company, what will? How does a company like this continue on? It's the same story that you and I have gone through time and time again. Plain and simple Groupon possesses the most awful, unprofessional, unwelcomed, unbelievably lousy customer service in man kind ever encountered. The employees act as if you are bothering them by simply acquiring as to know information pertaining to any purchase you the customer has made; they will have attitude and sigh when they have to lift one finger to do anything. Most of the time the 'customer service representive' will reply to almost any question you may have with "I don't know", they won't even try. The wait time to recieve your package could be an upwards of 2+ months! Not to mention the ridiculous wait times to even come in verbal contact with a representative, 30-40 minutes. Let's see how long a company of such low quality will last, shall we?

I am writing this review as I am very dissatisfied with my recent experience with Groupon's costumer support. Due to COVID-19, an event which I purchased 4 tickets for was cancelled. I bought these tickets for my supposed to be out of town guests. As the event was cancelled and travel restrictions were placed, we were clearly no longer going to attend this event. The event has not been postponed, and even if it does get postponed, we will not be attending it due to the circumstances. Not only do we no longer want to attend the event IF it is postponed, we need to support our families as best we can which includes financial matters. Groupon refused to issue the refund. Groupon explicitly stated that they put their merchant connections first. While I am sympathetic toward all that are negatively impacted at this time, it is unfortunate that Groupon is not to their costumers. This negative and selfish experience (on Groupon's end) has completely changed my outlook of this business. It speaks volumes when the costumer is not put first, especially during a time like this. I used to think Groupon was a business which valued giving their costumers good experiences at a discounted rate. At least, that's not how they've been taught to sell it. From this experience, I learned that Groupon values revenue over costumer satisfaction. By knowing this, I will no longer support this business.
I purchased two coloring kits through Groupon from Qualtry. The vendor informed me after six weeks of my order placement that they cannot fulfill the order because they are out of stock. The vendor graciously refunded the shipping fees and canceled my order promptly without any problem. However, Groupon will not refund my $48.95 by crediting to my visa. Instead Groupon refunded me in Groupon Bucks. I paid in real money ($) and am entitle to get my money refunded in real money. Can I take Groupon Bucks to Walmart or any other toy store to buy stuff for my kids. Groupon always gives you hard time in refunding money because they keep hold on buyers' money so that buyer will end up buying another crap from Groupon.
I have given 1 star rating because there is no lower than 1 star. In fact, my actual rating for Groupon's Cusoter Care model is negative 10 (-10 star).
This is a lesson learned for me dealing with Groupon in these days of Financial hardship due to Covid 19. While other businesses are sympathetic and understand their customer's problem, Groupon company is looking for itself by making profit while dealing with unscrupulous sellers. I will not buy again from Groupon.
I went to groupon found a great deal for 4 addmission tix@$40 half price... but then I have to go to the La County web page to enter a code and print tix. I do this and I am CHARGED A SECOND TIME for $40 so basically I paid FULL price on something I was suppose to get at half price.! And yes I followed dierections and read ALL Fine print. Groupon rocks! I've been purchasing for over a year. I tried restaurants that normally I wouldn't, and have enjoyed some new venues. I've enjoyed various sport activities like car racing and golf. I've enjoyed Las Vegas rooms and shows. I've had great fun sending loved ones gifts that have arrived to my inbox every morning. I have family across the country and have the Groupons from their area emailed to my inbox, so then I can send them fun, or order it for myself so that when I get there, we can have some fun together. In all my Groupons, I have had one bad experience, and it happened whiel I was on vacation. As soon as I got home, I contacted Groupon. They refunded my cost with Groupon case, which is no problem, because then I used it that same day on a deal for "It's A Grind" coffee shops in my area. And the customer service rep at Groupon was excellent in handling the refund. She listened, apologized, fixed it and followed up with an email. Great, effecient service! I honestly recommend Groupon.com... live, love and laugh often when you get their deals!
I purchased breakdown cover from 2gether for my sons first car, he drove to the driving theory test center and when he was taking his exam I tried to start the car, after 8 or nine attempts it would not start so I called 2gether and they informed me that a mechanic would be with me in 60 to 90 minutes, but five minutes later my son came out elated having passed his theory test only to start the car with no problem's, I was then informed that I would be charged £98 for the call out, so I said keep the mechanic coming to check the car out, only to be told that if the car was starting and there was no fault there would still be a charge of £98 then I was sent a very threatening letter to say if I did not pay the bill the policy would be canceled! And the bailiffs would take goods from me to the value of the amount owed! So if you have a breakdown be aware that if you call them out and your car starts you will be charged £98 SCAM SCAM SCAM!
We purchased hot air balloon rides in Vegas for a friends birthday. The vendor kept putting us off and rescheduling rides three times, unfortunately past the expiration date of the groupon. I texted groupon multimple times asking for a refund with proof of the texts sent by the vendor. Groupon does not honor cash refunds only "groupon bucks" since the groupon was past expiration. HOw this happened due to the vendor promising rides and canceling the night before three consecutive times. With numerous texts, as groupn does not allow voice conversations we were told repeatedly our case had been closed and no cash refund would be allotted. At over $700. It is a big price for no benefit.
I would encourage you not to work with groupon rather call the vendor and hopefully get a better deal from them directly. Groupon has come across as a very poor system of customer care and they have lost my business. I have not been please wiht their vendors in the past but kept having hope that a groupn vendor would be promising. This event has proven to me that groupon will not be in my future due to poor customer service and for working with poor quality vendors.

I am not surprised to see all these bad reviews about Ideeli. The item I ordered was not only shipped days (I am not talking about a few days!) after the expected shipping date but something happened in transit and I didn't receive anything 10 days after the item was shipped. Wondering what was going on, I contacted customer service - a few days later, they got back to me saying "the item was shipped on (the original shipping date)"... DUH! (and no apologies or no explanation about why I still haven't received my item) I concluded it was useless to contact Ideeli again so I contacted the carrier instead. Within a few hours, I received a call back from the carrier. Apparently the package was missing the address lable that the carrier needed to contact Ideeli and get information to complete the delivery. Hearing this, I immediately contacted Ideeli asking for a refund because the item was arriving just about a month after it was supposed to and if I knew it would take that long, I wouldn't have ordered it in the first place. All Ideeli offered me was a store credit (like I am gonna deal with these people ever again!) when they are clearly at fault shipping the package without a label...

I ordered a 9 piece rattan furniture set by Davis and Grant for £299.99. The item glass table top was delivered shattered to pieces we didn't even have to open the box the glass was moving around in the box. The courier service UPS advised us to refuse that part of the delivery and request a replacement which we did.
Upon phoning Groupon Goods Customer Service several times and being told a replacement will be dispatched and Management teams will be in contact via email regarding some explanation we received no correspondence what so ever. I made another call to the same Customer Service only to be told by a Supervisor called Mike that the item was out of stock and he can only offer a full refund which we still are waiting to receive at this time.
After checking online and making a phone call again I found out that groupon have the same Davis and Grant 9 Piece Rattan Furniture Set IN STOCK in grey.
We are left with partly assembled furniture due to missing parts and no table top. Its safe to say I will NEVER order from Groupon again and advise others to consider a trustable reputable company who have a better Customer Complaints service hierarchy as from those who have dealt with on Customer Service Helplines don't have a clue what they are doing let alone the products they are selling. Despicable
On December 11th of 2009, I ordered a Nautica coat with an expected ship date of December 28th - January 4th. On January 6th, I hadn't received any shipping notification so I sent an e-mail to their support and was told that the coat would ship in the next 24 to 48 hours and they'd be happy to apply a shipping waiver. I waited another 3 days and sent them another e-mail to which I received a reply that said, "Our warehouse team informs us that this item from your order is unavailable from the manufacturer." Did they not this two days prior when I first inquired? It had practically been one month since I placed my order. They gave me a one-year $25 credit as a "courtesy".
Ideeli fails at the very basic level of a business: supplying products that they advertise.
What upsets me so much is that the coat was a present for my future sister-in-law. How terrible does it look; I say it's coming between x and y dates, oh no wait another 2 days, and oh no, it's not in stock?
I will never do business with them again. A $25 credit does not put a coat in my future sister-in-law's hands.

Can't even give one star to such compnay (but if i am not puting one star they are not alowing me to proceed)who just take money and do not give any service or discount. Even customer serivce talk so rudly when we call for not giving discount.
Self had bought a discount offer for CAB booking they took money and everthing after that when i used that voucher to book CAB that CAB dont even sent a CAR and used that voucher code and said we dont have cab. When i went back to Groupon they replied that "they are not responsible, Groupon just took money for voucher for code they provide and they are not concerned with weather they get discount or Service". So should not trust such worst company who just want to earn money.

I had a bad experience from the get go... I saw 2 pairs of pants and a pair of shorts that I really liked. I ordered them right away. Well it took about 2 or more weeks to tell me my order was going to ship out. (All 3 items) Last minute they told me they made a mistake and could no longer ship my the shorts. And I gave them the second star ONLY because they did give me a 10 dollar credit to their site for the inconvenience. It only took mmmmm... a month or more to get my order. I finally got to try them on after a month! They were to big :( Not a big deal, it happens! But I had a vacation I was going on out of state and I was not able to return them right away. Once I was back and able to return them it was to late I guess. So now I'm stuck with these pants that are to big for me and I don't know what to do with them... I just want my money back. I don't even care if they charge me a fee... I just don't know what to do with these things! Anyone want 2 cute pair's of teal and pink pats size 9?! Haha...

I loved shopping with ideeli... I got myself a gorge pair of oscar de la renta sunbglasses. I ordered them on a thursday and received them in a week... There shipping was less than hautelook... and arrived right on time. I also got to speak to someone on livechat because i had concerns about the fit of the sunglasses... afyter explaining that my face was round and i wanted to malke sure they were oversized sunglasses that would fit my face ( i gave her a good idea of the size and hsape of my face and she did the best she could do with that). She took her time and gave me her honest oppinion. I got the sunglasses and they fit perfectly. I honestly had a great experience with them.

I honestly thought that my first-time experience would be a good one, but I found it quite disappointing. I was charged twice ( once by groupon and once by the merchant) after I first purchased a voucher on groupon, I received an e-mail from them about my purchase. I wasn't sure if that was an actual charge since I thought that I'd be charged only once I use it at the merchant. I was wrong. I was charged by groupon and the merchant charged me. I emailed groupon who emailed me back stating that my voucher did not include tips or service but I had clearly explained in my email that I was charged the amount of the voucher. They kept giving me vague answers like more details of terms of purchase are online' and call this number to speak with one of our affiliate companies'. I clearly didn't want to spend more time and energy on this. I am grateful it wasn't hundreds of dollars that I wasted as I've read in other bad reviews. Just be careful when you purchase or just don't purchase all together. I don't recommend it based on groupons unprofessional service. If they had been transparent and made an effort in wanting to resolve the issue, I wouldn't have left this review. I think it's the first bad review I leave for anything ever! It's your decision to make, all the best!
