For exactly 120 for a couples massage was not reflected on my account. I contacted groupon and gave them the order number in question as well as screenshots of my confirmation email. Instead of inquiring on the issue they refunded a second groupon voucher I bought for a movie ticket in the amount of 26.45 when I paid 29.45 and skipped out on paying my 3 additional dollars. When I contacted them a third time, my email was blocked. I would have been fine calling and explain this issue but there is no customer service number. Beware of the bs. Groupon is sketchy.

We were so excited my husband was given this as a birthday gift…. The extra expenses have been ridiculous… extra $100 each to fly out from Brisbane… extra costs to sit together on flight… car hire for 3 days cause a very basic motel is not near city, beach, etc…. We were not honoured any of our three Friday and Saturday night options… had to fly out on a Thursday… taking away our income (haven't even gone and down $1060)… gosh I hope our bottom of the peeking order destination is worth it!

I honestly thought that my first-time experience would be a good one, but I found it quite disappointing. I was charged twice ( once by groupon and once by the merchant) after I first purchased a voucher on groupon, I received an e-mail from them about my purchase. I wasn't sure if that was an actual charge since I thought that I'd be charged only once I use it at the merchant. I was wrong. I was charged by groupon and the merchant charged me. I emailed groupon who emailed me back stating that my voucher did not include tips or service but I had clearly explained in my email that I was charged the amount of the voucher. They kept giving me vague answers like more details of terms of purchase are online' and call this number to speak with one of our affiliate companies'. I clearly didn't want to spend more time and energy on this. I am grateful it wasn't hundreds of dollars that I wasted as I've read in other bad reviews. Just be careful when you purchase or just don't purchase all together. I don't recommend it based on groupons unprofessional service. If they had been transparent and made an effort in wanting to resolve the issue, I wouldn't have left this review. I think it's the first bad review I leave for anything ever! It's your decision to make, all the best!

I've been a member and have bought several items and have recommend it to friends as well. For the most part they've been good until I had to return some earrings I bought for $54. The earrings were broken. Of course I was going to send them back. So they issue me a credit. I would have preffered my money back but okay they want to keep you purchasing from them. So with my credit I buy some shoes that were $38. I get them and they run too small so I have to return them. They issue me a $29 credit. I finally go check my account with Ideeli only to come to find that my original purchase of $54 CHARGED TO MY CREDIT CARD and paid... has only granted me a $35 of credit with Ideeli! So I paid in full $54 and have not kept any merchandise and have returned everything due to damage or wrong size only to get NOTHING and have only $35 in credit. Is this ROBBERY? YES. Is it illegal to take my money and have no goods exchanged? YES! Will they at least return my $35 as a refund, NO! I must and have to keep my money (so called Credit) with them in their account. For what? So I can purchase something else and give them another $10 in shipping. Where in the end the $54 I spent.$30 of it has been spent on shipping and I've received and kept nothing. Why not just refund my money and stop ROBBING your loyal customers? I'm so disgusted with their so called policy. I have a credit account that slowly diminishing and I get nothing in return. GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK!

I bought my first Groupon this week that claimed a savings of "up to" 50% on a restaurant meal at Boulevard Grill in Springfield, MA. I paid $25 for the Groupon, which entitled me to one app and two entrees. So we went last night. The place is cute but a bit pricey at $14 - $19 an entree for that type of place. So, we got boneless chicken wings (which were delicious) and two entrees (chicken marsala and chicken parmegan) for $13.95 and $14.95. The food is good -- not fabulous --but good. I would go back and try their sub and sandwich selections as, for the price, I'd rather go to a more upscale restaurant for those entree prices. BUT, here's where the Groupon falls short. Taking off the price of one app and two entrees ($36 and change), we saved a total of $11.36. That is FAR short of the"up to" 50%, which could NEVER happen given the price of the meals. So that doesn't even hold up to a savings of 25% and could never get higher. I think Groupon might have some deals, but this wasn't one of them.

I RECENTLY PURCHASED TWO ITEMS OFF GROUPON. ONE NEVER CAME AND GROUPON TOLD ME THERE WAS NOTHING THEY COULD DO AND REFUSED A REFUND AND THE OTHER WAS ONLY A MARKETING SCHEME TO UPSALE ME WHEN I GOT TO THE DOCTORS OFFICE WHERE THEY REFUSED TO DO THE TREATMENT THAT I INITALLY PURCHASED FROM GROUPON! AGAIN GROUPON REFUSED TO REFUND! DO NOT TRUST OR PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY! TOTAL BULL$#*!

Purchased a pair of hiking shoes for my wife on Groupon back on August 29th stating on there it was available. The only reason I purchased this was because she has very small feet and finding a pair that would fit her is very difficult. The website does say 12 business days and only refund within 48 hours of purchased. It's now September 23rd, 17 business days later, no tracking number, it haven't event left the facility. The only thing I got so far is an update that was from September 10th. I'm going back to Amazon with my Amazon Prime which I get my item in 2 business days. I called on September 22nd to try to get a refund but the hold was 20-30 minutes long. They either have a lot of customers calling to ask where's the item or they have no one working on the other line.

The only reason why Groupon is getting an extra star because at lease they refunded me but my theory is that they don't have the size in stock otherwise why would they refunded me when it state clearly that they only refund within 48 hours of purchased. Their excuse was that there was a delay, come on, 17 business days delay when it says available when I ordered it, that's 24 days. Just tell me the truth instead of this BS excuses.

Customer service is the worst you cannot talk to nobody the chat service the y never can resolve smithing I call the next I purshused my voucher I explain that I bought the wrong location the voucher was in another state they say trade in but I have to do it in 24 hour they didn't have nothing I like at the moment I call back for a refund they give me the stound until it pass the 3 days and them they said after 4 days they camot give refund but the customer service took 48 hour to respond the dispute I been deal for this situation for long time and they say is nothing they can do they already pay the merchant t. The fat that is not a live customer service is crazy so they loose as a client I use to buy thing from there butt not any more worst customer service

I've ordered 4 groupons and so far it's junk. Not groupon itself, the products they offer at discount are not worth what they originally cost, that's why they're discounted, so it's not a "deal"

The first were fandango tickets which were fine.

The second were 2 coupons for discounts at FTD.com, I ordered mothers day flowers and lucky they were delivered on time but the flowers were such a ripoff they weren't even worth what I paid for the coupon. I sent pictures to both groupon and FTD and they refunded my money.

With the refunded groupon credits I purchase some groupon goods, a sheet set and eye cream. The sheet set felt like nice material but looked horrible. There were strings hanging out everywhere and both pillowcases were deformed, not useable. I emailed groupon about it and they basically said too bad but since you opened them we won't refund your money, feel free to donate them to charity.

The eye cream said will ship within 7-10 business days, took over a month to arrive. I've just now recieved it so we'll see if it was also a waste of money. Not buying anything else from groupon unless it's something I've bought before and know it's good.

ORDERED AN ITEM FROM THEM, IT WAS SHIPPED TO THE WRONG ADDRESS AND THEY COULDN'T CARELESS... GOT A HOTEL RM FROM THEM, CALLED AND MADE SURE THAT IT WAS BOOKED & WAS ASSURED THAT IT WAS... ARRIVED AT THE HOTEL... 6hrs. AWAY FROM MY OWN HOME AND NO RESERVATIONS WAS EVER MADE. NOT TO MENTION THAT THEY TAKE MONTHS TO DELIVER YOUR PACKAGES...

Recently, I bought a massage voucher (iBalance) from Groupon only to realize that Groupon doesn't do any research on the business and takes 50% of the sales! I was thinking I was purchasing through a credible business who has done their research and was selling me a professional service. My massage place was difficult to get a hold off and when I finally did the "owner" cancelled twice and attempted to cancel a third time. When I arrived to my massage place, it was in an industrial area (I felt unsafe as a woman), on the second floor of a dirty gym, old and unclean and the owner told me he didn't finish his schooling. I actually walked out of my massage in pain. The owner also told me that he was getting constantly harassed by the Groupon reps to make more sales and that he would redeem all 5 of my massages RIGHT AWAY (even though I just had the one). That way, they both get paid out for all my massages. I was in shock. I wasn't intending on going back for another massage but it is horrible to see that both businesses- Groupon and iBalance massage- work hand in hand to take advantage of people's hard earnt money. Never again do I intend on purchasing anything from Groupon!

Ive used Groupon several times and I love it. The deals that it provides are great. I think the only downfall is whenthere isnt enough deals for the area you live in. Other than that its great.

I've been wanting a Balenciaga purse, saw it on ideeli recently, then showed the page to my husband. He surprised me with the packaged I found on my door way this morning. I'm really happy for this. However, after a whole day of medicating telling myself it must be all good and just stay happy, I simply couldn't. From the way it got shipped to me, the tag, the dust bag and the appear of it, I'm just not 100% confident that it's authentic brand new Balenciaga purse. There was no stuffing to keep the purse in shape and relatively naked straight in the shipping box. The shipping box was crashed and broken (of course). It was in the dust bag, though only half in half out. The zippers are open. The tag is not on the purse, instead it was stuffed in the front pocket.The hardware on the purse doesn't match the price paid either. The color of the studs look worn-off, while the color of the zipper seems really too yellowish. Unfortunately, almost no-wonderly at the moment I was checking it through, it states as non-returnable.
After a whole day feeling frustrated, my husband got home, took a look and said while this is what happens when buying at discounted price. But really? It is supposed to be like this?
How can I return this one PLEASE?

I'm ready to throw in the towel on this one...

My first purchase was a dress, it was a fair price, shipping time was okay, and I loved the piece! I was very happy and raved about the company.

My second purchase was a set of lenox towels: the towels arrived but the wash clothes and hand towels did not. The company told me I could return the item for their review -- huh? Let me go out of my way to return an incomplete order for what? Them to tell me I secretly kept the matching wash clothes and hand towels? I counted my losses on this one and didn't fight it.

Then just the other week I decided to buy some lingerie since V day is coming up. I got an email saying they didn't get in one of the items and apologized and gave me a $15 credit. Ok, thats fine. Then the other piece came in and it was missing a garder strap. Seriously?! So now I have a non-returnable item that won't even hold up my stockings. Not to mention that I'm also without the very item I wanted to have on Valentines day -- had I received the other item, this wouldn't have been as much of an issue.

Are the deals good? Yes.
Are they worth it? Probably not.

I am very disappointed in this company. I would avoid them at all cost. If you have any kind of problem you are screwed. Plan on wasting hours of your time on chat ( there is no way to get anyone on the phone) and getting no satisfaction from the customer service robots on the other end. I had ordered a full sheet set in navy on Nov 25th. On Dec 8th I received a set of queen sheets in lime green. I contacted the immediately They insisted that I had received the item I ordered after a long battle on the chat line they told me they would look into it with the retailer and contact me in three business days. I informed them that this was a Christmas gift and I would like to receive before Dec 25th. As of Dec 28th I still had not received the sheet set that I had ordered. Now that Christmas has passed I no longer need this item. I tried to get my money refunded since they had charged my credit card. Onto another chat session that went on for over an hour. They want me to return the item get a refund and reorder the original item. I do not trust that I would receive the item I ordered and no longer need it. I am frustrated that they wasted so much of my time. According to the Federal Trade Commission you do not have to pay for items that you did not order even items that are ordered and sent incorrectly. So I am refusing to send back the item and they are refusing to give me a refund. Why should Groupon policies be allowed to be above the law. The way I see it is they owe me for over an hour and a half of my time not to mention the pain and suffering for the aggravation of trying to talk to their robots.

Purchased a king size doona on Groupon from their business associate BDirect Aus on 15/5/2017. Still no resolution from Groupon and have no confidence in their ability or sincerity to process a full refund after eleven weeks. Should have read the reviews on BDirect Aust before purchase as I would not have entered into this transaction.
Initial delivery was lost at first clearing centre on 2/6/2017 and I lodged query with couriers on 12/6/2017. Following further correspondence between myself and Groupon as agreed they advised that a replacement delivery had been arranged on 27/6/2017.
On checking the tracking number log on the 6/7/2017 it stated that the goods were on route to Coburg, Victoria not my home address in Northern NSW some 1500 klms away and advised Groupon accordingly that I had no confidence in their associate to deliver the goods and requested a full refund.
Groupon twice replied on the 16/7 and 20/7 that the situation had been passed on to their "management" and "concern team" for further investigation.
And their response finally on the 31/7/2017 advising that the goods had been delivered on 7/7/2017 safe drop at Coburg, Victoria and given the situation, you can still receive the item, if you file/lodge a complaint with the courier.

I absolutely, positively abhore this company. I ordered my first, and last groupon, for a teeth whitening kit which OF COURSE comes with the gel in syringes. As it is just left inyour mailbox instead of having it require a signature, mine was opened and ripped to bits all over my lawn. I snapped photos of this and sent it to both the provider and groupon, asking them why it was mailed with no signature required. The teeth whitening company ignored the email alotogether, and Groupon sends the generic "we'll get back to you in 24 hours" email. I have emaield them three days straight and have gotten various version of this email - nevertheless, they actually haven't responded to the problem. I thought, I can call right? Nope - I DARE you to call them at ANY given time. They don't pick up the phone!

Why bother having a customer service number, when there is no, in fact, customer service. This company is a joke. I would never give them another dime, and I am spreading the word. Why can't we give less than 1 star?

I just learned from personal experience that Groupon's Promise is nothing but an empty promise! I have contacted both Groupon's vendor and Groupon's customer support ( if you can even call it that) and my problem is still unresolved. My UNUSED AND UNREDEEMED Groupon can not be refunded to me. They suggested me to gift someone else the Groupon I bought but unused but why would I do that if the product or service is unsatisfactory to begin with? It's a joke how Groupon Promise gives a fake impression that they are behind you on your purchase but when you need help, they can even offer a real person to help you. I had to talk to a robotic messenger and learn that they are sorry they couldn't refund my purchase even though it was UNREDEEMED. They just canny stand to spit that money back out once they took it from your hand. Why Groupon can't match Amazon in its customer support is incomprehensible to me. The only reason I can think of is that it's too big to care about each small individual customer but not big enough to back its 100% satisfaction guarantee like Amazon does. Shame on Groupon.

You can buy from a scammer and Groupon WILL NOT help you. They refer you to the merchant who, if a scammer, will not reply and not give you your money back! And Groupon doesn't care!

Today im Deleting all my campaigns on Groupon as its become a PURE SCAM. Im a seller on Groupon and have been for over 10 years. Because we dont have access to customers emails when they purchase a voucher for our service we cant promt them to when its running out. We know as well that groupon dont always let customers know... and why should they, it means nothing to them as they are holding the money, The only ones loosing out are the customer and the frustrated company who are offering the service. Now im very aware of Data Protection and hate companies who STILL sell our information. But this is not the case. Customers have paid for my service at that point I should be able to email them and say lets get you booked in. Over the last 2 years ive had to deal with GROUPON CUSTOMERS AT THIS POINT who call saying ive just noticed my Groupon Voucher has expired, This is a conversation we dont want to have but then have to tell them to go back to Groupon. HASSLE FOR THEIR FLAW... while they still hang on to the customers money. Further to this when Groupon further discount the voucher they take it off my end so we make even less without lettings us know. This is a new thing they introduced but because my deals have been up for 10 years its not something we were told. We just noticed the payments were smaller and then just told yeh we are discounting further. Not worth being with Groupon anymore. Wont be back until the allow the sellers to contact the customer that have bought our service instead of hiding everything and keeping peoples money. CUSTOMERS MAKE SURE YOU REDEEM YOUR VOUCHERS

Groupon does not verify its merchants and do not provide refunds when their merchants do not provide services. I purchased a costly beauty treatment from a merchant on the groupon website and even used their booking portal within the website for acompany called Ashtones Beauty in Fulham. During a train strike, I spent £25 on taxis and I was told to purchase my own numbing cream (a further £25 cost) prior to attending the treatment. When I arrived, the salon was completely shut. I called the number listed and texted several times as I waited for 30 minutes outside in the freezing cold. I also sent 3 emails. The emails were read but never responded to. I reached out to Groupon customer service to alert them of the merchant clearly fraudulently offering services and taking funds. Groupon refused to return my money and repeatedly said that instead that they would reach out to the merchant on my behalf. I said at least a dozen times that I do not wish to have any one who clearly runs a fraudulent business performing any type of invasive or touch-based treatment on me and that I simply want a refund. They refused. They also violated the GDPR law which prohibits them from sharing customer information even though i specifically said I do not give permission for my details to be shared. When I insisted that I want a refund, they simply put me on hold for over an hour and then cut me off! Do not use Groupon - they do not verify their merchants and they do not provide any security or safety for the consumer. Rather use treatwell

do not use Groupon under any circumstances. They do not offer any protection for the consumer and have the worst customer service of any organisation in the UK.
