I just cancelled my ideeli account this afternoon after received their horrible customer service. In Thanks Giving period, I ordered more than 12 items from this website. It took them more than a month to deliver to me. No email, no notice, worse - they cancelled one of my item which I wanted to give to my friend without letting me know. I complaint to the customer service, they told me that they put $25 credit into my account (again, without letting me know). I went to my account and thinking of getting this $25, and it already expired. ENOUGH is ENOUGH! I love the products in ideeli.com, but I can not take it anymore!
What happened to the large variety of quality clothes that were available on Ideeli/Ideel? I loved the site and bought so many beautiful dresses at affordable prices. Now, I can't find anything worth purchasing on Groupon. Based on reviews of Groupon that I've read, many people appear to agree wtih me. I agree with several people who stated Groupon has nothing but trash on its site. Please bring back the "old Ideel!"
I used this service once and want to share my experience. Actually, they are not so bad, but I wanted more from service. The interface should be less comprehensive, especially login system. All in all, this is not bad
Worst customer service. The never honor the groupon promise. Brought a groupon for car-alignment, but never could get an appointment, and had it done elsewhere as I was getting new tires. Now they would not refund. They used to be good before, but it is getting bad to worse now. Will be soon going out of buisness...

My boyfriend and I booked a trip through Groupon to Barbados! Got wonderful reviews 4.7 stars the whole 9... unfortunately the hotel we stayed at was corrupt and someone broke into our hotel room while we were sleeping at 3am and robbed us! It was a terrifying experience. Long story short my boyfriend and I had to obviously leave the hotel and cut our vacation short due to our horrible experience... Groupon is not supporting us as customers what so ever! I have been trying to reach customer service for almost 2 months already! I am furious. They do not want to ask refund money back and saying we must contact the hotel which is ridiculous. We were robbed at a hotel we purchased through Groupon and no one seems to want to help us or even listen to our situation. There's no call center email or chat. No Manager available. Nothing! No customer service at all! HORRIBLE
Loyal Groupon customer, purchased a local carpet cleaning service for $89. Took time off work for the appointment, carpet company never showed up and didn't return phone calls until the evening! Said they had their days mixed up and will come out the following day, took next day off work and they still didn't show up! Called Groupon to get refund, Groupon said since it was past 7 days of purchase they will not refund and maybe I can either give this company another chance OR I could gift this Groupon to someone else! Uh ok sure let me just give someone $89 carpet service as a gift. Still waiting on groupons manager to contact me, in the meantime I have told my cc company to cancel $89 from Groupon. No longer a Groupon customer.
Beware the fine print, it's very easy to buy a Groupon and be unable to use it. Their customer support gives generic responses, or claims they have no power whatsoever to issue refunds (why do they exist, then?). They wasted a huge amount of my time. Was it a glitch in their system that sold me a "local deal" that was only applicable 3,000 miles away? I'll never know, and they'll never admit it or do ONE SINGLE THING to make it up to me. Useless, form-letter replies from customer support. Every time I think about it, it makes my blood boil. Stay away unless you're VERY CAREFUL, and don't mind getting burned occasionally.
Well, no wonder, they are from chicago. Both orders still not shipped. One has been over three weeks, other over a week. Horrible customer service, too greedy, they are selling too many things but do not ship well. Disgrace.
I ordered sheets from Groupon. The colour was nothing like the photo and the sheets felt gross and shredded at the seams when I tried to put them on my bed. Complete garbage. Total waste of money ($50). Will NEVER order anything from them again.
Groupon is really a good deal, but you have to watch the small print as the people they present for the "good deals" are sometimes shady. There are hidden charges sometimes or something less than advertised. Groupon usually come to the rescue if they can.
There was a time when I loved shopping on this website. I got a few good deals and was very pleased, until one day I bought a groupon for a massage and reflexology session. I did not have a chance to use my coupon before it expired (missed it by 2 months) and was told by Groupon.ca that I would not lose this money, and could use the coupon for its face value ($50) at this business, at anytime. One month later, I called to book an appointment and the business had gone under. Contacted Goupon.ca but never got my money back. They basically sold me a coupon for a business that they probably knew was going under in 3 months, and claimed no responsibility. Total rip off! Won't be shopping there again, even if they gave everything for free!
For the most part, I've had really great luck with Groupon and their reps. Some of the businesses they list deals for are less than stellar - but I've learned my lesson and research the business before purchasing the deal.
It was shocking having to deal with Groupon staff due to an error that they/their accomplice made. I will for sure never use them again. They were unreasonable, unhelpful and it was an overall terrible experience dealing with Groupon
I have bought a few things from Groupon so far. Have not had any problems or complaints, I would say I'm satisfied and would shop on Groupon again and would recommend it. My only thing I'd try I weigh the was more for my area
I ordered 2 items from groupon using paypal. They "rejected" the order without any notification (I had to chat in to be informed of this or else I would be waiting for an order that would never come). Then they deactivated my account. F groupon!
I had installed the Groupon app on my phone. By doing this, I accidentally purchased a $200 cleaning service. By the time I noticed the purchase, it was too late to cancel. I informed Groupon and explained the issue. They admitted there were other customers who had installed the app and issues as well. Even after admitting it was their issue, they claimed there was nothing they could do.
I gave up and tried to schedule the cleaning. It took 2 weeks to get them to return my call, postponed the cleaning twice, and cancelled 30 minutes before they were to arrive. Then the owner hung up on me when I called back. Dont ever use Groupon! Biggest scam ever!
I placed my 1st order last week. I was reluctant after because I didn't know much about the site other than the great deals you can get. I ordered 2 pairs of black boots (over the knee and knee high). No one I know have used this site. I decided to search the reviews. After reading some of the experiences on here I was expecting the worst. I was told the order would ship between 1-29 and 2-2. I thought that was reasonable. To my pleasant surprise both pairs arrived today and were brand new. Today, when I was shopping Macys on-line I found the exact same pair/brand for $70.00 I paid $35.00! You can say i'm in shopping bliss! I will definitely be using this site again!
Hi there, wish there was a way to where we couldn't give a star. They don't deserve one. I recently had a horrible experience with Groupon. I lost 120 on concert tickets. There was no ticket purchase with the venue and when I tried contacting Groupon I couldn't. Their customer service number goes to a America's hottest talk line and their email comes back as no longer available. When I finally got in contact with someone, I was given the run around and was told there was nothing they could do.
I am a lon time and frequent buyer at Groupon, NOT ANYMORE.
I purchased a $99.00 dinner Groupon, on the third day tried to cancel, they refused would only give a credit to be used within 24 HRS! WT@

I purchased a computer and never received it. Groupon told me to talk to the company and I did. The company told me that the order number I gave them do not exist. I also sent them my invoice of purchase. I still haven't got any answers from the company or Groupon. You can't call them. You can only send them emails and hope they get them. I can't get anyone to help me. I won't be ordering from them again.
Answer: Yes, Groupon is legit. You need to read the fine print before ordering live event tickets- -they will not refund your money even if it's there fault. I only buy tickets for activities that don't expire or you can use the purchase price towards a non-Groupon service the vendor offers. Hope this helps.

Answer: The one I took by Holly and Hugo at least were I would research the company before buying. Also about twice a year they put all their courses for $5! I got mine completed it and it helped boost my resume and I was able to get a vet assistant job pretty quickly compared to before where I only got a call back from about one place which didn't lead anywhere. :) hope I could help!

I've had nothing but good experiences from Ideel in all regards - product satisfaction, price, shipping, etc. - but I've never had to contact customer service so I don't know what you'll get, but they're phone number is (888) 835-1719.
Answer: They are the absolute worst about answering customer service complaints. They will lie, they literally told me customer service reps were out sick, thus no answer to my emails for about 2 weeks. But, don't loose hope, the DAY I posted a review on this site, they answered AND gave me a 25.00 credit for my trouble. So write a review on Site Jabber with all the details and a bet a manager will answer promptly. As this is their way, I NEVER ordered from the site again after at least 3 years of orders. Good Luck and don't leave a sordid detail out of your complaint.
