I purchased injections from a clinic. Before purchasing I called the clinic and they assured me that I could pick up the injections in packs of five. I explained that I lived two hours away and would not be able to come there. THey said it would be fine for my husband to pick up the injections. I purchased the groupon. I called to ask if my husband could pick up the product on a Friday and they said they were too busy. I called a week later and stated that my husband would be there on Tuesday. The clinic said that was fine, They told me to make sure he had the voucher number. The clinic said it would be ready for him on Tuesday. He gets there and they refuse to give it to him. The medical assistant stated that I had to come in and she was sorry for the error. She may be sorry but I am out $100. Groupon refusing to refund.
I have no problem with Groupon in general. Actually everything i have bought from them has been great. But i just bought a Body Shop groupon 2 weeks ago and it expires on Dec 31st. I thought it was a great deal---buy it for $15 but get $30. But when i went shopping there right before Christmas and on Boxing Day, the deals that the store had were even better than the groupon's 50% savings. And, i wasn't allowed use the groupon on any of the gift sets or sale items, so i ended up buying something that i actually didn't want to because i wanted to use it before its expiration. So my advice is to buy this groupon only if it is not during the Christmas season when The Body Shop already has amazing deals.
Just received the David off Coolwater Perfume from Groupon India and it is a fake!
The Package came without its protective plastic cover and doesn't even smell the same as the perfume or stay on you for some time like the ones you purchase from the shops in the Mall.
I have to admit that I have purchased a few spa deals, and few are good while others are pretty so-so. But this product that I have received is definitely a fake. Getting a sub-standard bed sheet or a fake Swiss knife is though not correct but is still okay, in my opinion, and I can deal with it. But fake perfumes and fake skin care products is a super no go and I would suggest don't buy perfumes and skin care products from them.
I just got cheated of ₹1450 ($ 23 / £15) :(
I have never had a bad experience with Groupon. They have always come thru with the items I have ordered. Except for one time when they e-mailed me to let me know that they had a problem with the vendor, whose product I ordered, and that my item was not available and they refunded my money to my method of payment. Great company, good customer support.
Disappointed is an understatement. I ordered a (Garmin NOH Approach S3 Golf Watch) watch from them and have been waiting for 16 days. I finally contacted them today and was told they were busy and had no clue when it would arrive or if it had been sent. They offered me a refund and I took it. Groupon should have contacted me at the very least to let me know my package would not arrive on time. Worst part is the watch was a birthday gift for my fathers 60th birthday which has now past.
I would never order another item from this company again.
I have placed an order almost 1 week ago and I received today a suspicious email and call from ideeli that my ordered will be canceled unless I give them a call back. Is this a legitimate business? I goggled the area code and it says that calls 646 are a scheme from Bahamas.
Went to this Korea wave spa salon at hougang st 21 #02-201 to colur. But the outcome is sucks. Lady boss don't even bother to care whether your hair is unevenly etc. think twice before purchase in future, unless u are willing to top up and use their products, if not the outcome of your hair is totally sucks.
Groupon is selling many vouchers from crooked merchants. A lot of hidden fees are not disclosed on the vouchers. The crooked merchant tried to charge me $25 extra not listed on the voucher. Groupon refused to refund my money. Groupon is a bad company. Do not buy from Groupon. Very bad and lousy customer service.
If people would pay attention to what they are buying before doing so they would have a much better experience. If you are thinking about buying a deal, read everything. They are not trying to trick or scam people but simply run a business. As far as customer service, they are only allowed to do certain things because Corporate will only allow companys to do so much. If you are so small minded that you cannot see that it is not the customer service reps fault and you yell at them then shame on you. Groupon is a GOOD company and GOOD customer service
I paid for a vendor who never responded for home cleaning, Maid 4 You. Could not get a Groupon response. A waste of $50. Now I have paid a much heftier amount for a Stamina Pilates Reformer and the website never responds. There is no one to contact at Groupon. I will take this to a much higher level if I don't get immediate resolve.
Clever - win / win idea. Allows business to discount when they have excess capacity for services (so it doesnt go unused... so they make a new loyal customer) and allows the consumer to get a deal and try something new.

Legit merchants that have confidence in the value of what they are doing... cut their profit because they are optimistic you will like and be back!
I love the deals they offer but the emails of offers can be overwhelming. I couldn't get them to stop so I created a new email to get around it. I still check in to make purchases on great deals. Only through that other account though.
My shopping experience with Groupon has been good so far. But I have been having problem with one of my purchase recently made me lost confident on the credibility of their partners.
They provided me an appointment to deliver the package, it was on Tuesday, Nov 5th, at 13:00 - 14:00 but they didn't come. I called the service number and one lady replied me in a rude manner that they were obliged to put hours on the notification paper but it didn't mean they had to be precisely on time. I found the reply ridiculously irresponsible.
I managed to ask for another appointment for the delivery and she told me it would be on Thursday, Nov 7th, anytime during the day. I waited until 16:00 in the afternoon and nothing arrived. I called again and another person told me that the package was in transit. At 18:00 nothing came, I called again and the office was closed.
I am not sure if I will ever receive the item that I bought with this kind of customer service.
So I decided to use this site because I was need of a flat iron, and my sister had gotten a great iron from this site for $40. I decided to give it a try! I guess you could call this site "legit." Anyways I was so irritated with how long my order took. They only shipped my order 2 and a half weeks after I placed the order. I contacted the staff to see what was taking so long. And I got an email saying they would respond back to me within 24 hours (and they did). Except that the response was from a machine that apologized that no staff members were currently available. So finally someone contacted me two days later telling me that he couldn't do anything to speed up my order and that he was sorry. ARE YOU KIDDING ME. I definitely will not be returning to this site or recommending it to anyone. Good luck with it if you should choose to visit it!
If anything goes wrong with your order, don't expect anything from Groupon other than pithy, placations, and useless "we're so sorry you're experiencing problems".
"We're happy to offer you a refund" is not service, it's an exit strategy.

When i see something on groupon that i think i might like i always go to amazon.com to check out the price and reviews to see if i am actually getting a good deal. Sometime they have the same item, sometime not, but when they do it is a better deal on amazon. I recently purchased a sweater from groupon in an extra large. I like baggy sweaters. Well... it is more like a small. In fact, i gave it to a friend of mine who is a size SIX! The groupon rep answered a question on the sweater page and said it was true to size. A big BS to that!
I have purchased tickets for hotels, trips, and to events and they are worth it for sure! I bought a hotel room in new york city in times square for a ridiculously low price and it was fantastic.
I purchased pizza storage containers on November 23,2023 from Almo, through Groupon. I almost immediately tried to cancel the order. They would not allow me to cancel. I have tried to return the order on multiple occasions since I had to wait to get it. I have gotten the automatic messages from Groupon telling me Almo will contact me. Nope. No contact. No it seems like I am stuck with the items.
I have used Groupon for the first time before Christmas. I purchased an item that did not arrive on time (in fact, it was almost 6 day later than what it should have been). Since the item was now useless, I attempted to print a return label. It didn't work and had to contact customer service to send me one via email (this was the second time I needed to contact them, previously as I was trying to access my account the the password changes weren't working, the whole website didn't perform well for me on several occasions). Since i had payed with a disposable gift Visa card, I gave my banking information to customer service. Yet, they issued a refund on this non-existent card. When I asked for my money to be reimbursed by check or card, since I wanted nothing more to do with their company, they gave me Groupon credits. Nothing is worse that having to waste HOURS fixing issues related to an online order and lose your money also. NEVER AGAIN.
Shipping is extremely long. I was charged and the funds removed from my account, then 3 weeks later, its still in processing. I contact support and they said there is no error and please allow another 12 business days for shipping then contact them. I contact them again and they said shipping and processing both take 12 business days. So that means 24 business days, or 5 weeks to receive 1 game that I even had to pay for shipping.
I see that all of my other reviews have been taken off. I wrote another on 21 August about an order being shipped that expired on 1 September 2010. I was wrong. Oops. It did not ship until today! MY bad. Who knows when I will get and again it expires in 9 days. How in the___ ( fill it in) am I going to use $50.00 worth of eat-out coupons in 9 days. That is assuming I receive these tomorrow. I do not have the inclination let alone the money to eat out every night for 9 days. Ideeli has out classed themselves. I am trying to cancel my order and get credit for it but I doubt that will happen. We will see.

Answer: Yes, Groupon is legit. You need to read the fine print before ordering live event tickets- -they will not refund your money even if it's there fault. I only buy tickets for activities that don't expire or you can use the purchase price towards a non-Groupon service the vendor offers. Hope this helps.

They will lie, they literally told me customer service reps were out sick, thus no answer to my emails for about 2 weeks. But, don't loose hope, the DAY I posted a review on this site, they answered AND gave me a 25.00 credit for my trouble. So write a review on Site Jabber with all the details and a bet a manager will answer promptly. As this is their way, I NEVER ordered from the site again after at least 3 years of orders. Good Luck and don't leave a sordid detail out of your complaint.
