This company phishes cash by charging people the full amount for hotel rooms that are actually sold-out. False advertising and deceitful practices from this company.
They start their scam by giving the site visitor the impression that you are booking with the hotel website, they do this by including the hotel name within the domain, for example: guestreservations.marriott.com. Then they show you a rate lower than other legit booking sites. Then they never reveal the full charges including taxes before charging the card. They will only show the room charge. They never tell you that your booking is none refundable. All of this critical information is hidden, then once you book, booom! They hit you with 55% fees. So a booking for $400 will end up costing you $220 more in fees. When you call them and tell them there is an error, the agent (with a barking dog noise in the background) tells you, "sorry everything was disclosed to you and the fee is none refundable."
When I called the hotel, they said the booking shows that it was booked thru Agoda.com! I am sure agoda does not know about how this company is misleading their clients. Total fraud!. Stay away and check the web domain before booking, and if you don't see the full charges on the statement BEFORE giving them your card details, DO NOT complete the transaction.
I didn't realize there would be an up charge of $60 for a 2 day reservation of $106. Tax recovery charge and a little padding. Won't be using their services again.
DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM
Be aware of booking with them their fees and extra charges almost added up to an extra $50 from what was shown as the room rate the room was non refundable so you're stuck a room
Hi Sue, we are sorry you had this experience. Just like when you book through a hotel directly, Guest Reservations must charge its customers for all applicable taxes, including any hotel taxes. Additionally, by charging a service fee for all of its reservations, we are able to offer 24/7 customer support and operate as an independent travel network. Guest Reservations conspicuously discloses all fees and taxes on its checkout summary webpage, asking customers to check a box acknowledging these before they enter their payment information. Despite our transparency, we remain concerned about your experience. Please provide us your reservation # and the email address used at purchase and we will respond with the next steps. Thank you.
Had the misfortune of booking a holiday to Bali through Guest Reservations
Price on their site was Australian $1108 for 12 nights
After giving credit card details money was immediately taken At the bottom of page was a summary which stated price was per night
Immediately canceled booking only to find out their terms stated that I would have to have booked the accommodation 2 days prior
Now out of pocket Australian $******* with no booking
Fact Guest Reservation has no affiliation with the hotel (as advised by the Resort)
Fact Hotel never received confirmation
Fact Hotel never received cancellation
Fact Hotel never had availability for the requested dates
Please advise if you have been ripped off by these Texans
Fact no where did it say price was per night

I was online looking to book a room the night before my son's open heart surgery. As I was going going through the reservation, I got a call from my son's doctor that I had to take. When I opened the page back up to continue with my reservation the page said thank you for completing your reservation with us. I then looked and saw the price was double what was originally quoted. I paid $162 for the room and $140 in fees. When I tried to call to cancel the reservation (that I didn't even make) they told me it was nonrefundable and that if I canceled I would be charge $190. I explained that I did not ever submit the reservation and the representative was very rude and said that there was no other way it would've booked the room unless I pressed the button at the end. I am very upset because we are already paying thousands in medical bills and could not afford to pay double for a room we were staying in one night. The 1st representative said I was not able to speak to a supervisor but when I called back and talked with the 2nd representative she told me that I could but then came back and said that the supervisor was in a 3 hour meeting and couldn't talk. I will never use that website again and I would highly encourage everyone else to avoid the website at all possible. After you put your card information in, the website will confirm the reservation without you ever continuing. WORST COMPANY IVE EVER SEEN!

Like others said, charge 50% in a disingenuous and misleading way. Disputing with my credit card company.

This company's only purpose is to scam people when they are looking to make a reservation at hotels. I recently was looking to make a reservation at a Holiday Inn Express and was going to book directly with IHG. When I searched for the website, this horrible website came up and it appeared I was in IHG. I made my reservation and when I checked out, I noticed that the total was more than $250 more than what I researched for my room. When I noticed this, within 5 minutes of booking, I cancelled. Come to find out that once you book with this horrible website, no matter what, they will charge you. THIS COMPANY'S SOLE PURPOSE IS TO OVER CHARGE UNSUSPECTING TRAVELERS AND TO SCAM YOU INTO THINKING YOU ARE BOOKING WITH THE HOTELS. PLEASE MAKE YOUR RESERVATIONS DIRECTLY WITH THE HOTELS, NEVER USE A THIRD-PARTY WEBSITE TO BOOK HOTEL OR TRAVEL RESERVATIONS. THIS WEBSITE NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN. I DO NOT WANT TO WANT TO EVEN GIVE THEM ONE STAR, THEY DESERVE TO BURN IN HELL AND DESERVE NOTHING MORE THAN ZERO STARS, BUT IN ORDER TO POST YOUR REVIEW YOU HAVE TO AT LEAST LEAVE ONE STAR, WHICH DOES NOT MAKE ANY SENSE.

This company falsely advertises information and uses deceptive tactics to take your money. They show that you are getting charged all these so called "Resort Fees" then when you leave the hotels you get charged again by the resort. RUUNNNN AND DO NOT GIVE GUEST RESERVATIONS YOUR MONEY AT ALL! They are scammers and liars!
Hi Jo, Guest Reservations must charge for all applicable taxes, including any hotel taxes. Additionally, by charging a service fee we are able to offer 24/7 support & operate as an independent travel network. Please DM your reservation # and email. We will reach out to help.
I went to Denver because I had an Unexpected death in my family. I booked the hotel and asked if we could extend the night but we were able to get a flight out we left the hotel approximately around 11:00 a.m. but I guess we weren't checked out till after check out time it took over a month to get a hold of the hotel itself because I kept getting passed on to reservations upon calling the hotel the manager so she said she wassaid that she would not refund the money because we checked out after check out time she refused to give me her name she refused to give me the owner's name she stated that it was an individually owned hotel and that I couldn't have anybody's name I told her well I was charged for something that I didn't use so and the lady that told me she would refund the card couldn't because the card was compromised she didn't want to hear any of this all she wanted to do was tell me it was too bad I will never use Microtel again and I will tell everyone I know not to use my Microtel hotel.

This website is a rip off! Shows you good price at the start and gives you huge bill after you pay! There some fees apply but you cant see them before you pay. There is no such thing like transaction summary before you pay. You just type in your credit card details and they charge you what they want. I noticed that the room that I wanted is a bit cheaper than on Booking.com but after I paid I got a bill approx 20% higher than on Booking.com and 40% higher than the price I have clicked. Thank God I booked only one night. I've seen people that got ripped for serious amounts by then. Their answer is always same copy/paste one: "Hi YOUR NAME, we are sorry you had this experience. Just like when you book through a hotel directly, Guest Reservations must charge its customers for all applicable taxes, including any hotel taxes. Additionally, by charging a service fee for all of its reservations, we are able to offer 24/7 customer support and operate as an independent travel network. We always disclose all fees and tax recovery charges prior to booking and require customers to confirm the total amount.
We do our best to be transparent about policies and make sure they're clearly stated on our website so you know where you stand. However, we are happy to work with you on the issues you raised. Their website advertised $79 but their charges increased it to $124.
Price gouging during this pandemic should caused them to be closed down
Reporting them to the authorities
Dingy, dark and bed so lumpy and soft that we couldn't sleep all night. Overpriced and isolated. Find an alternative.
