Nothing wrong with the costume except being too small. Wished the shipping minimum was a little lower for free shipping to receive it though, as rarely any costume for one person would be over $65 to meet that.
My issue with them is that I returned the item on November 8th and didn't get an email saying they received my item back until December 11th... They probably had it days after November 8th. The email on December 11th said it would be "still up to 2 weeks to process my return." It has been 4 weeks since that December 11th email and still no refund. I was already annoyed about having to pay return shipping on top of the "18% restocking fee" which seems pretty steep to open a box and put something back on a shelf. As it stands currently, I don't know if I would ever order from them again or recommend them to anyone I know, even if I had a coupon. On top of that their customer service hours are very short and not on weekends at all either and I shouldn't have to be babysitting this and reaching out about this. Regretting ordering from them. So far hasn't been worth being a little cheaper than Amazon because of a coupon I had.
Most atrocious customer service I have seen in a long time. Customer service informed me I could not cancel an order I placed 3 hours prior because it had shipped. I would have to return the order and pay $14 + 20% restocking fee, which on top of the initial shipping would out value the costume. I explained it had not shipped yet it still sat in a "processing status" to which the agent told me e-mail notification where more accurate and I should have one that says it shipped, I did not. Refreshed their online tracking again, still shows "processing" I advised the agent, who that changed my order to shipped 10-15 minutes into our conversation. I asked for the tracking information, which showed only label created, it had not been scanned into possession by the courier.
They said the order was processed and shipped already, conveniently with a time stamp DURING my conversation asking to cancel. They advised after it shipped it could not be canceled after. So, in effect, their cancelation policy is bogus and non-existent. Based on other reviews it appears they play sneaky games to make a buck in lots of ways. No real intent to please anyone or correct a situation.
When I received my costume from HalloweenCostumes (Mens Deluxe Uncle Sam Costume) it was rather wrinkled and did not sit nicely when I tried it on. The lapels on the suit jacket weren't straight and the neck was out of shape as well so I wanted to iron out the wrinkles and make the costume look nice and straight.
I checked the tag for any ironing instructions but there were none to be found. As soon as I touched the jacket with the iron it burnt a hole right through it leaving the costume unwearable at my 4th of July party.
I contacted support and their response was "we can't accept something back that has been altered in any way, as it cannot be returned to the manufacturer for credit" and offered me a 50% refund. Instead of backing their customers in and giving a full refund on their faulty product they only offer a 50% because they cannot return it for credit. That's really not the approach that will win repeat business from anybody. Definitely won't be earning any more business from myself and if this post helps people it's well worth it.
Real shame HalloweenCostumes. Make your customers suffer because something you've sold is not of satisfactory quality.
I love that the product was exactly as described, reasonably priced, and delivered quickly! I also like that they have their own costumes so, I didn't look like anyone else I saw:-)

Loved my costumes it was perfect! It fit great and was well made. Customer service was great at responding when I had an issue and they fix my issue quickly! Will definitely be using them again!
This store is a great place for my Morris Picture Studios to shop for all my props and costumes, I bought a severed fake arm that looks so realistic you would think it was real, this is a great place to shop for all your Halloween supplies.

I placed an order with HalloweenCostumes.ca 4 business days before Halloween. The site guaranteed delivery before Halloween. Once I had paid, I was informed my order would be here in 3-4 business days. I still haven't received my costumes. I paid for premium shipping for a guaranteed delivery date. I wrote an email to costumer service who told me it was my fault my package had not arrived and UPS has the package. Sharleen M said it's my fault my package wasn't delivered because I didn't list a "suite number" in my address. I did not list a suite number because my address doesn't have suite numbers, it's a single stand alone building on a lot. It's a buisness and the doors are open 10am-8pm with someone working. HalloweenCostumes.ca is going to charge me $14 for UPS to send the package back to them.
My husband and I order a costume 2 weeks ago and it said would be here by the 28th of Oct here it is Halloween and my daughter don't have her costume We even paid for express shipping and it's been ( in Ohio for 5 days now) so where is the express shipping at so now my 11 year old daughter don't get to dress up because they promise things and don't stick with it WE WILL NOT BE BUYING FROM THEM AGAIN,... and can't upload pictures of my review because I DON'T HAVE IT
I bought the Ratatouille costume and luv the quality of the costume. I was totally excited when it came and my Grandson put it on right away and would not take it off.
The quality of the costumes was great and I was also extremely impressed with the accessories. The accessories made the costumes that much more fun. Definitely recommend!

I ordered a costume for a student's Christmas play. The shipping cost was $5.99. It was returned to the company. The return cost was over $21.00. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. They are a rip off.
I was afraid to order from this web-site due to mixed comments below, but as my budget is low and I could not find the costumes I like for similar price on other web-sites - decided to give it a chance. So, got 2 costumes (Renaissance Queen & Furry Frankie Monster).

1) Delivery. Chose Parcel Priority to Cyprus. Got delivery by Fedex 1 day earlier than promised.
2) Sizes. I have a non-standard body shape & always have problems ordering online. Took me a while to find costumes which fit at the same time my waist & breast sizes, but i managed. And now - the time was worth it! They fit amazingly! So - read descriptions of sizes carefully and ur patience will be rewarded:)
3) Quality - I paid 25Eur for one and 35Eur for another costume. For this price - quality was great. They looked as in the photos. Not perfect of couse - but great for the price!
Overall I'm super excited. Most probably, as i did not have high expectations and in the end got amazingly fitting costumes that look great! Highly recommended!
I ordered a costume, paid with my credit card, it came but didn't fit properly so I messaged to exchange it and they said to send it back and I would get a gift card to use to purchase the costume a size up. Although it was the same costume, the next size up was about $10 more so I paid using the gift card as well as my credit card for the difference. Almost a month after I ordered and the package still hadn't arrived. I messaged again and they said that it was lost in the mail and that I could get a refund to my original method of payment. Which they said was a partial gift card and partial credit card refund. I asked multiple times about just getting a refund not via gift card as I am never ordering from them again after this experience. They could even take a restocking fee even though I didn't receive the costume, and their response was that the Manager said that the refund was issued correctly. Disgusting that you take my money and not deliver a product after forcing me get a gift card in order to make the exchange.
These people are con merchants. I am filing a report with the BBB for what good it would do. I am from Canada visiting the UK. We specifically went on the co.uk website to order our costumes believing we were ordering from the UK which impacts sizing etc. We found out after the order was shipped that it's actually shipping from the US! Not only are the sizes going to be off, but we paid A HUNDRED DOLLARS more in conversion to pounds than we would have buying directly from their US website! I did a live chat and asked if I could refuse the UPS package as this is false information and we ordered with the expectations of UK sizing etc. He said we would be refunded the cost minus any shipping and fees they would deem appropriate. I said we shouldn't be charged any fee. He said unfortunately that's what you agreed to when you ordered. Terrible customer service, terrible business practices and I would never order from them again. Rip off con merchants who shouldn't even be allowed to be in business. BEWARE!
Firstly I put my order on the 30/09 for a party on the 28/10, the site guaranteed a delivery for the 17/10. There should have been not issue for me to receive it in time.
On the 21/10 I contacted UPS who advised me my parcel was with my local post office. I moved house on the 23/10 - had I known they would not deliver it by the 17/10 I would have had the costume delivered to my new address. This is 6 days after my parcel was supposed to have been delivered. I now have no access to the property where it was originally supposed to have been delivered and the post office has delivered the parcel and take no responsibility either. But it wasn't delivered to ME!
Halloween Costumes have, as a gesture of good will refunded me $20, out of the $120 they owe me... they don't have a department that deals with complaints, they do not acknowledge the fact they have:
A) not delivered the costume within the agreed delays
B) not delivered the costume to me
I will never buy anything through them and I would warn anybody who is thinking they will get their costumes within the agreed delays, they won't and on the top of that you will have to do all the leg work to actually get this resolved, because their so called "customer service" isn't interested!
Don't order from this company your unable to get someone on the phone and unable to process a return costume came damage. I call customer service and hold on for 1hour and 50mins and the phone went blank stop saying hello hello and no one before you was able to here music then said I was number 118 on the phone and just to wait another 1hour up to 2 hours I'm good will file a complaint with the BBB unable to process a return this company if full of it " BUYERS BEWARE "

Answer: From my experience, I would definitely say this website is reliable. We ordered our costumes and received them (of great quality) within two business days. I personally used PayPal to buy them, but I do this with every website (that allows) just for extra protection.
Answer: Hi Monique, I've had this same problem having them ship to Australia, turns out that the 'FedEx' tracking number they've given us is in the confirmation email is actually a UPS tracking number. Hope that helps!
