Condition of goods not good

I bid on albums and a puzzle and condition of all are terrible nothing in the description said albums in terrible condition and puzzle missing pieces.maybe let people know what there bidding on.

Great site depending on what you're looking for, can be anything from jewelry, antiques, furniture, toys, etc. Always a wide variety and sometimes good pricing/ bidding, dependent on what you're looking for.
Always fun to shop, the buying part cuts into my allowance, but as is said, you can't take it with you…

First time bidder, I did not know what to expect. I bid on things before I was aware there was a description listed. Then I prayed that someone would bid higher. I was fun and exciting and I spent the evening watching as the bids closed. I got 4 item that I particularly wanted. Felt like such a win.

Date Night Fun!

My husband and I decided to see what we could get for as little money as possible and we did really well! We got 23 lots and are extremely pleased with our purchases. Two lots were wrong(lots 26 and 1527)-but the rest were exactly what we expected. On-line was easy and setting up pick up was also easy. Men working at pick up were friendly and it was easy to find! We will definitely use this auction service again!

Scam

I've encountered a frustrating situation with damaged orders and no means to secure refunds from sellers. Additionally, obtaining tracking numbers for won auctions seems impossible. Moreover, there's no avenue to review sellers' actions in such instances. Despite attempting to contact HiBid for assistance, they haven't responded, leaving me no choice but to resort to a chargeback through my bank. This experience leads me to believe that HiBid may be operating dishonestly.

Hessney auction house contacted me as someone else congratulating me for winning their auction.
Their excuse was I must have given my email to someone else in the past to use.
I told them I had reservations about shipping and would like a quote.
They fought for a week telling me they are tired of my questions about getting me mixed up with another bidder from another auction.
They finally gave me a shipping quote.
They tried to take payment from a credit card when I previously told them I would like hibid involved in the mix up before I unlock my card.
They then said they will only take a special type of wire.
I told them the money is on my card for them to take.
Keep in mind this was a $3000 purchase with the same credit card I have used with hibid without issue.
They refused with me replying that I would lock my card again so do not attempt to make another charge to save them fees if there are.
They then proceeded to say that I was aiming to fraud them and rip them off from the beginning and would do their best to give me a bad name with hibid and other auction houses stating that I'm out to rip people off.
They got my whole identity wrong in the beginning.
I believe they treated me poorly due to their mistakes and have no grounds to slander me in such a manner.
The staff at hibid/ auction flex have been fair and helpful.
I have also worked with New Braunfels auction Co with complete satisfaction being the auction before this one.
So for Hessney house to say I have no buying or payment history is a complete lie.
If you want a trusted auction house that is 100% trustworthy go with New Braunfels, they went beyond what was expected for good business, I give Mew Braunfels 6 's out of 5

Not sure why this happened?

Both my wife and I were bidding on a few items in a recent auction. We were both registered and on our laptops. The time remaining to bid on various items was off the two laptops by about 30 seconds. Although my wife's laptop said there was still time, this time difference caused my wife to lose out on an item she was interested in.

Watch Out for Exchange Rates

I was bidding on a Canadian auction which clearly stated that the money was in Canadian dollars but when the auction ended I was charged in US dollars, about 25% more...

Stay away from this website. Auctioneers bid up their items, do not put your reserve bid ever. Bid at the last minute. Auctioneers can see your reserve bids and just bid up themselves from different account to get the highest price.

No flexibility

I love the items you offered as they are of high quality and I'm thrilled with the ones I won. Bidding is fairly easy and the email notices help me keep on top of my items. Unfortunately your website is very difficult to navigate and, to find the auction I was involved was extremely hard. I found I just went from the email you sent me. Please update your web site to be more user friendly otherwise I will avoid bidding with you.

This particular auction is obviously unprofessional. Placed a bid and won, paid for on 2/21, got no confirmation, no tracking number, etc. Damn right I disputed it and then they have some unintelligent customer service agent call me to confront me as to why I disputed the charge. I had no tracking number and no merchandise 2 weeks after I submitted payment. She wants to know why I didn't contact them, it's not up to me to have to chase down merchandise I paid for in good faith. They got their money right away but they are poor communicators. Use the money I paid and take a class or get some. How awful the won't let me bid anymore...lol

Duped by a scam

Deliberately misrepresented auction items. The auction for poker chips shows all chips were in tact. The truth was much different. 75% of the chips are crumbled. They through the few good ones on top completely hiding their trash. I submitted a few images. First is the auction image.Then, the truth. I wouldn't have paid 50 cents for thier trash. The hammer came down at $50. Shameful

Overall ok

I ended up buying something I wasn't bidding on. But because the "auto delete upon close" was active, the auction shifted to the next lot and I wasn't paying attention. Now I'm paying for something I didn't want. My bad for not fully watching the movement, system bad for being able to shift while a bid page is open.

I won a bid on flooring which was described as new, open box, retails $129.99/box X80. Actually was 80 sq ft!
Fortunately, money was returned, but my plans were ruined!
