This was a significant investment for us, but one that was competitively offered. Mike and his crew were prompt, efficient, thorough, and completed the work in two days. The crew left our pool and surrounding landscape in good condition. I would recommend Desert Mesa Pools services to anyone needing pool deck repair.
Angi's leads has been hands down THE WORST lead service that I have ever used. Do not, I repeat, do not use their services. It's a complete rip off. They will send you a "lead" and charge you no matter what comes from it.Even if the lead is bogus. They sent me a lead where the number was disconnected, asked them for a a refund on the bad lead and no, the refund was denied. Sent me another with the wrong number, doesn't matter, still charged me $189 for the lead with no refund. I also found out that they will send you and 2-3 other people the same lead and charge everyone for the lead no matter what. It's a scam. I called and asked to speak to a supervisor, and even the supervisors were like Yep we send you the number and you can charge to matter what. Doesn't even matter if they don't call you back. Angi makes money by ripping off hard working people. So surprised that they are still in business. I would give zero stars if they allowed me to..
David and Christopher were wonderful to work with! My project was quite fluid, as the deck needed a lot of repairs, both major and intricate. Christopher found the perfect solutions for each issue. David was great in managing the whole process, and really worked with me. I'll use them again, and HIGHLY recommend them!
They have charged my account without my consent and even with my account on hold. They claim they cannot reimburse my money. As a business during this pandemic, I am so disappointed. Not only is the country shut down but they could care less are taking my money and had the audacity to tell me to get out there and risk my and others lives to perform my office cleaning business. We just started and I am not equipped for disinfecting. Best advice... remove your card number so they can no longer keep stealing from you.
Was going to forfeit my computer repair job when HomeAdvisor sent Nick's Quick Fix my way. Nick went right to work diagnosing the problem, explained various options, and let me choose what I felt worked best for me. It was a win-win and I appreciate his knowledge and expertise.
I was sold on Homeadvisor for pool service by two woman out of the NY office, three month sent me lead which were out of my radius, leads that were closed, not one legit lead, they took my money, I called spoke with another woman out of Colorado very nice said we do not want to lose you as a client I will credit you with 10 leads, still nothing. I have been calling it take 3 days for someone to get back to you, emailed no return called. Last i spoke with a guy he was very rude, ask for a supervisor to call back no one has done so. This is a SCAM,
I booked a painter for two rooms. The "painter" arrived on time armed with one used tray, one brush, one roller. Though he was quite polite and congenital, his work was sloppy, with poorly covered walls, dripping on all trim, outlets and floor. The we were informed he had to leave to "go to work" but a return on the weekend to finish the job correctly.
I contact HA to file a complaint with the caveat that if he returns to do the job right all is good.
He did not return and Home Advisor did a FULL REFUND. Sad painter but great customer service!
I received an outrageous quote from another Company and felt it was extremely over priced so I googled window installation and submitted my information at 9 pm to get a quote. Window and doors group responded to me immediately. They were extremely professional and sent someone the next day to take measurements. It took less than a week to order and replace the tempered glass window.
Bath Planet gave me exactly what I wanted, and they did it in 6 hours. The shower experience was fantastic. After Byron and Josh finish installing my shower replacement and tube removal they cleaned the entire bathroom and vacuumed the living room rug. Plus they cleaned all the refuse from the job site and took it all away. Didn't even know I had any thing done.
Home advisor is okay supply me with two businesses within several days. I should have called around myself then I would have had the job done much sooner. Home advisor charges the business a $20 referral fee whether or not the consumer picks them or not. That $20 is passed onto the consumer cost. If you have no problem with money then this aspect doesn't matter.
I am a contractor, pressured to signed a service contract, paid $280 something for one year in Feb. 2019. They forgot to put me on, no one called I called them on May. They agreed to refund me and terminate the contract. I hanged up the phone, seconds after, they sent me three leads, of course I refused. I never received a single called, and I never got a single job. In other words, they never provide me a service. After that, took three phone calls to terminate the contracts. They claimed I had few services. Now, they used collecting agency CMI Credit Mediator to collect $517. 61. 00
I am a reasonable contractor, I will paid for services. They forgot to log me on. I owe them nothing.

Well, I'm happy that I found Antonio. And, thankful that Home Advisor led me to him. He was wonderful & got the job done quickly and at good price. But, for some reason - Home Advisor cancelled my appointment with him. Luckily, I was able to track him down based on his name & location. So, I called him directly,
We needed a new roof on our single car garage. I had a couple of people come out from large commercial businesses and they gave a cost of way too much as they stated there was a minimum cost for that work. I went to HomeAdvisor and got an estimate in a few days that was acceptable. Work was done in five hours and very pleased.
They are scam artist to contractors. They send expensive leads that has no descriptions of the job to be done, no homeowners name neither address or phone number that works, and when I ask for lead credit the excuse is always the same. They think that we have money to spare to trough out the window with fake leads. Contractors and homeowners stay away from them.
If you need a professional handyman, Jerry is the guy to call. He is punctual, reasonable, and his work is top quality. I hired to re-do the doors of a shed that I had paid a "cash only" disabled person (so he claimed) to do the job which was totally botched. Jerry did an excellent job! Strongly recommend him.
The October freezing rain coated the plants with ice; then, the extremely cold weather finished the harm.so I had to find someone who could get the weeds out, remove the dead cacti, eliminate an unwanted tree, trim the dead branches from the rose bushes. B and R then planted my new cacti, fertilized all the plants, and got the trash out of there. Very good job!
I used home advisor to hire a local contractor to install an exterior door. Guy was an hour late no call text or remorse. Left the job door unfinished, door locks handle missing, said he will be back next day. Cancelled saying he had another job that day. Was supposed to be here at 8 no show, call or text till 10 asking for an address. Made the guy wait as i was at another appointment being the guy was a no show and when i called back number was disconnected and no way to reach him. Left me high an dry.
Called home advisor. Said they could not get me anyone for 2 days minimum. Didn't know who the contractor was, didn't have a number. Couldn't get me a manager. This company is a wreck. They constantly gave excuse after excuse.
Ryan arrived at our home on time and found the problem right away. I place a call to Ryan yesterday and he responded the same afternoon and made the appointment the next day at 1300. He fixed the leak today and it has a pleasant experience dealing with a stressful situation that has caused worry because the rainy season is coming. Ryan will be at the top of my list next time a need roofing assistance.
Home Advisors category selection for painting does not adequately list full basement wall and ceiling painting as an option for selection of your specific application in their selection process. Home Advisor gave a minimal amount (2) contractors to contact with minimal reference data to review.
My experience was very rewarding. I was able to get four (4) quotes from my initial action on Home Advisor's website. The plumbing respondents were all professional and capable of understanding and communicating my specific plumbing (brand) needs.
Products used:
Labor only
HomeAdvisor made choosing a painter a painless experience. Example to them what you are wanting and when. Immediately they will recommend (3) three top companies to select from. They eliminate the guess work of choosing a quality contractor.
Water heater was leaking. Did a random search for plumbers. Home advisor came up in the Google search. Interface is easy to use and designed well. I put in the info and within a few hours was contacted by the plumber that we eventually selected.
Happy with all services provided by HomeAdvisor except I keep getting billed $19.99 on my Credit card for some program they have that I don't want and did NOT sign up for. I'm tried of calling every time I see it on my Credit Card statement. Please remove that fee for (Flat rate service I think) from my account. Thank you for your prompt attention on this matter.
Home Advisor provided several painting contractors to consider for our painting project. Services recommended led to our selecting one of them. The company we selected provided a great experience that was very professional, great price, and excellent results.
I was looking for a reputable, affordable and local moving company to move my folks' out - downsizing. Home Advisor gave me a short list of moving companies and a little information about each. They helped do the weeding out when I didn't have the time.
I hired 3 contractor on 2017. 2 of them are no good at all. One contractor half way through the the job and disappeared. Repeat calls go unanswered. Another one did a terrible job and blame all the problems to me. I asked home advisor to drop these no good contractor from their contractor's list, they told me no can do. So, don't believe their ad on tv.
Home Advisor found us a number of rated contractors to choose from.
The one small negative point about Home Advisor is that they constantly requested feedback on contractors even before the job was done.
