I was able to get multiple quotes from recommended painters, they all were close in price. I picked the one with the highest review plus had a detailed list of the cost for each service provided. The painters were on time, finished early and cleaned up. T

From start to finish everything went perfectly. The only thing I would change is the onslaught of contractors still contacting me even though the job has been completed & Home Advisor was made aware of this, yet they still persisted in listing this as an open job?

I was pleasantly surprised to hear back from customer service after receiving some initial quotes, which I thought were too expensive. I was not going to move forward with the project. Customer service provided two additional contractors and one of them worked out extremely well for me.

Need to find a better way of contacting customers such as me. It was annoying with all the responses I got on my phone. I prefer to get an estimate price through Angie's app and then move forward with Angie on who to choose or go with.

Frank is definitely a welcome find for our family. Both my husband and I are a bit more than seniors. With all the summer heat and humidity, the foliage and beds had gotten out of hand. Frank quoted us a fair fee that was accepted. He got to work, and I mean hard work, for over eight hours. He was clean, professional, and efficient. We will definitely have him back on a regular basis.

I am small business contractor. They called me to sign up. They set up second account without my knowledge and after 10 months all of the sudden they sent me an invoice for $15,000. I've been trying to call them many times nobody answers. Nobody cares and now they threaten me with credit bureau. I don't know what to do.

This company has and will charge your account whenever they want. Any dispute will result with them saying no refund but they will "credit " your account. Leads are bogus and don't actually come from real clients. My company is receiving collections claims and we haven't done a single project from them since being signed up almost a year. Home advisors and Angie lists are second best scam ever.

The Angie site referred several companies to me that could not fix my issue. They just wanted to sell me more gutter guards. But, a few other individuals were referred that had the skill set and desire to fix what I have. I certainly had more than one vendor to choose from. However, I felt like the price for the repair really exceeded the amount of time needed to remedy my problem. Since the job was costed over the phone, there was no way for that person to kNow what was needed. In any case, $360/hr is pretty steep.

They had major issues finding my septic tank. Risers has not been placed originally. Jeff and Steve worked 4 hours to locate my pipe and dig a 6 ft trench to find the septic tank. Digging thru rock, concrete and bricks. And at no extra charge. Thank you so much for the great service.

I receive spam emails several times a week from them or their affiliates. No way to block, either, because they switch up the email domains regularly, so it always comes from a different email. Every time I see this company's name come up, I'm reminded of their spam and will, therefore, never use them.

The guys got to my home 20 minutes early. It look longer than expected. They arrived on November 14 and didn't finish til November 16. The machine they originally had stopped working. The next day they got a new one, but had to leave to find out why the pressure was so low. I don't blame them. These were unforeseen events. I would recommend them highly.

The process was easy. I entered our project needs in an online form and received two screened "matches" almost immediately so that I could check them out further if desired. Both screened companies reached out within the hour, and I ultimately hired one to complete my project that same day. We were very happy with the process and would use HomeAdvisor again for future contractor needs.

Never signed up for this, I dont know how they got my phone number and the thought that I would be in need of some type home repair. I get calls constantly for an Indian call box and apparently they do no understand the meaning of "taking me off their call list". Extremely frustrating.

During my original move, I injured my back. I still had tons of unpacking, moving furniture, etc left to do. My own search was not successful so I called Home Advisor. I have a membership with them and have used them, very successfully, for other projects. I reached Valerie, explained my dilemma and she referred me to King Kahn moving. They were the perfect company to help me complete my move in. Professional, efficient and extremely hard-working. I could not be more pleased.

Move from NJ to Fl with top notch movers. They did an excellent job with packing, delivery. They are courteous and professional moving company that handled our furniture with care. Highly recommend them.

Offers to bid on my job were opened. Lots of responses. Liked Monica on phone. Trusted her upon meeting her. Other responses were possibilities but knew she would do a great job when I discussed it with Monica. Hired her 2 days later after other bids. Could not have hired better worker. Thanks for putting us together.

We had three major line brakes in our sprinkler system along with some extremely outdated sprinkler heads. They found some additional potentially hazardous problems which they corrected, as well. Their work was excellent, their customer service is fabulous.

HomeAdvisor has been always helpful offering me with enough contractors, I can compare their experience, workmanship and price, narrow down the best contractor to finish my project. I find it a very good choice to work with HomeAdvisor.

They basically try and fast talk you into signing up with them. Glad I went my instincts and disconnected that call. That's when she started sending multiple text begging me to sign up, turning on me when I refused saying, "you cam to us for help and I'm just trying to help you." A bunch of lies cooking in a pot of bologna!

Signed up for $288.00 several days ago. My leads were supposed to be for a 10 mi. Radius around my zip code. First lead was 60 mi. Away. Out of the 4 emails I got while they were trying to get my business, after 3 days not one can help me now that they have the money. And even worse, somehow the day after I signed up with them I started getting BOMBARDED with email spam trying to hook me into other things. Terrible Business!

I looked on the Website at HA and never used any of the services offered by their contractors for an air conditioning job. Since I simply looked on that site I have received at least 12 phone calls from contractors, none of whom I ever contacted myself. My privacy has been compromised. I would never hire a contractor who made a cold call to me. I want to be the person who initiates contact. I will never use their services again.
I no longer have an account with them, so there is no account number.

Home advisor will get people to call you, set an appointment and never show up. They're a waste of time. You think you're getting a professional, but not always! Because they don't check out the people they recommend!
