Valencia and her Team are excellent! They are fast, professional and efficient. As the General Manager of a large auto dealership in San Diego I know quality workmanship and appreciate great customer service. That is the way Valencia does it in our home-at very reasonable rates!

I've hired two contractors this fall which were recommended by HomeAdvisor. I have been pleasantly surprised to discover they both provided quality workmanship. Both jobs were completed to my great satisfaction for an extremely reasonable fee. I will absolutely use HomeAdvisor for all of my home project needs which I am unqualified to perform. I highly recommend anyone who owns a home do the same!

I don't like having multiple potential contractor calling or emailing me. What I would like to see is a list of the potential contractors with their phone numbers, number of people working for them, references and whether they are insured and vetted.

Needed a Locksmith for our utility room door on our outside patio. The one listing was for "Christopher's Lock and Key". Called and left a message. Chris called back very quickly and arranged to come out. He was here at 9 AM, and had it fixed within 15 minutes. We would recommend him to anyone who needs good service, and a very nice person also.

When we decided to have the work done we searched Angie's List as we are members there and the the referrals came back quickly from Home Advisor as I believe they have now merged. There were several options available, and the one that called us back first provided a good estimate over the phone based on what I explained. He was able to come out the next day can confirm his estimate and provide additional suggestions so we decided to give him the job.

I put in a search request to Home Advisor while also searching on my own for appliance removal. I went with the Home Advisor recommendation because the person who called sounded reliable, careful and ready. The referred service team followed through well.

I have my company in Miami Florida and the truth is I have a bad experience with Angy. They send you the approximate monthly expenses that one proposes in just one week and 97% of the leads are wrong numbers or clients who have already completed the project. They never give you credit and it's always a lie. For a supervisor to call you back, it takes almost two weeks when the term has already expired. You spend $800 a month on ads and at the end of the day it's garbage

Excellent, Chris was extremely knowledgeable and a master of his trade. I enjoy working with a person who pays attention to detail. He educates his clients regarding maintenance issues that will affect the longevity of the New Door and Tension spring system. The receiver N transmitter color coded eyes and how to adjust.

What? They charge us $347.00 up front while they are charging other $288 and $300 sign up cost now they are looking for another $155 and I did not even talk to 1/3 of the leads they sent no one answers the phone or not answers at all. I don't trust this. I have been had... Boy I hope not but it looks like it... Hmm. (NEW) to Home Advisor. I want my money Back.

Home Advisor is unreasonable and unwilling to resolve issues. I have tried to cancel several times within the year and they will not. I have had a very tragic year with family losses and then I fell and broke my arm so I could not work. They will put your leads on hold and if you forget to call back they start charging g for leads that you do t even authorize they will also offer 5 free leads. My company was then charged for the leads, which is apparently the scam Home Advisor runs. When you
Dispute the charges, the organization refuses to refund them. They hit me $700.00 + in unauthorized charges. However my credit card was compromised and they cannot charge the card on file but now they are threatening me for collections.
I have not even gotten any of theses leads because I closed the business after I broke my arm. Look at all the reviews please beware.

They bill you for fake, useless, inaccurate leads. They rarely allow credits. They will bilk you for whatever they can get from you. Lets also mention all the scammers that contact you, you will receive at least 5 or 10 scam text messages a week that come from this site, you will learn how to identify them just by content.
There are a number of more proficient ways to obtain clients, avoid this rip off!

Rep called me to get us on board with HomeAdvisor. I told him what kind of remodeling we do and he said perfect and hung up on me. Nice. Used HomeAdvisor a couple years ago, Never again! It seems they only care about your money and how to soak it out of you.

I signed up for Home Advisor formerly Service magic and found out why they had to change their name. The 5 leads they sent me over 3 days were a complete joke they charged me $100 on top of the money I lost in time, gas, employee pay, and aggravation. I would never give them another dime if they gave me 1000 of their B. S. leads. I wish I could give them 0 stars...

Cancelled my account with them in April 2018 after 3 months of being with them, they promise the world & you get nothing!
All false leads, the only ones making money is homeadvisor, now they have just renewed my membership when it was cancelled, have contacted them & no refund, bloody rip off & joke.
Stay away, they should be locked up!

This company worked out really well for us. Don was very thorough when painting our bathroom. He was punctual and completed the job within a great time even working on Saturday to get the job done in two days. He provided excellent service with a clean paint job, repair of plaster problem and cleaned up the area. He was very pleasant and we plan to hire him for future jobs.

I have used HomeAdvisor three times now. It has become my go to for home repair. Old houses need lots of upkeep and each time they have recommended someone I have been extremely happy with the outcome. I am not obligated to use their people but they have been great. After each service request HomeAdvisor checks to make sure I have received quality service and if I have a problem they provide a way for me to let them know right away. HomeAdvisor has become my Uncle Joe every time I needed a service I would reach out to him because he had a friend who either was in the trade or knew someone who was.

I logged onto Home Advisor 6 days ago. I requested a quote for my gutters to be cleaned. I clearly stated what I wanted, the size, and height of my house. I have received 37 calls in the past 6 days from various "gutter" businesses. Some of the calls are repeated calls from a business. I actually thought I would get a price estimate on the site or by email. I do understand they may have to look at the house and gutters before giving me an exact price. But I had no idea that I would be getting 37 calls in 6 days. Some of them let messages that said something similar to "call us back to set up an inspection." I do not want in inspection! I just want my gutters cleaned! This is ridiculous. I even deleted my profile on Home Advisor, but I know these people now have my phone number so they can continue to call.

I have used home advisor twice for finding help for my Mom, I am out of state and it is nice to have a service that guides you in areas you don't live. We hired a handyman and a cleaning company both did an outstanding job. They were on time, very pleasant and did great work.

Signed up for home advisor and was happy to pay the annual feel for
Leads but then started getting other charges. Call in about these other
Charges and they're for the leads they send you.
I got 2 leads totalling $245 and when i called I talked to same person telling me he never requested services. In my opinion they paid people to act like customer.

Got 2 great recommendations and hired one, but HomeAdvisor is worse than an overbearing mother. Frequent emails and phone calls to see if I got help or was satisfied... I get it, they need feedback, but do they really need to be down your throat about it. I'm doing your survey- now please leave me alone.

Tried this site to help find a company to do a bathroom remodel. I had 3 companies come and and picked one. The job was done with such poor quality I'm not sure how HomeAdvisor decides who to send. I thought they had some way for determining quality. But they don't and they don't get involved once the job starts. On my next project I used friends and family word of mouth and had much better results.

September 22,2020 we contracted with Lake Erie Roof... what I can tell you is they set up an appointment to investigate my roof repair job. Jeff was on time for appointment and did a detailed investigation and provided a fair price for the job. Next a team of three professionals arrived and worked diligently to make repairs and complete the job. The Team members were Neat and did a perfect repair to wood and replacing a number of tiles. Lake Erie Roofing is extremely professional. I will always contract with them. They are a five star agent.
