This was a significant investment for us, but one that was competitively offered. Mike and his crew were prompt, efficient, thorough, and completed the work in two days. The crew left our pool and surrounding landscape in good condition. I would recommend Desert Mesa Pools services to anyone needing pool deck repair.
Angi's leads has been hands down THE WORST lead service that I have ever used. Do not, I repeat, do not use their services. It's a complete rip off. They will send you a "lead" and charge you no matter what comes from it.Even if the lead is bogus. They sent me a lead where the number was disconnected, asked them for a a refund on the bad lead and no, the refund was denied. Sent me another with the wrong number, doesn't matter, still charged me $189 for the lead with no refund. I also found out that they will send you and 2-3 other people the same lead and charge everyone for the lead no matter what. It's a scam. I called and asked to speak to a supervisor, and even the supervisors were like Yep we send you the number and you can charge to matter what. Doesn't even matter if they don't call you back. Angi makes money by ripping off hard working people. So surprised that they are still in business. I would give zero stars if they allowed me to..
I have used Home Advisor on several projects. Each project was accomplished in a timely manner with exact costs known before the projects began. Very helpful to have known contractors with experience and references.
Appliance repaired in a timely manner at a affordable price without giving a lot excuses and back and forth between different people asking to leave messages I spoke directly to the repairman on initial
Having to break up concrete and bricks in my 141 year basement was a chore but no dust. Finished in the time they said it would. Craig was very easy to work with and went above and beyond. Would hire for future work when needed.
Excellent, we had two companies respond. Due to our back yard being inaccessible to large equipment we selected Johnathan since his process involves climbing the trees, cutting the sections or limbs and carefully lowering them to his employees who cut up and remove the debris.
Just don't. Shady business practices, unhelpful helpdesk and service. Fraudulent charges with fake leads. There is no worse company to do business with. Stay away from them unless you just like throwing money away.
Tip for consumers:
Just don't. Simple as that.
When I signed up I thought I was going to receive quality leads. My company was new at the time and I needed customers. After $600 spent only 1 lead was a real person. I ended up wasting a bunch of money that they claimed they would refund but never did.
Listing of contractors/vendors given by HomeAdvisor are a JOKE. No one ever heard of these contractors/Vendors. Reviews for these vendors by other sites shows them as Terrible. Don't waste your time with home advisor.
First plumber called was booked for time slot given. Called HomeAdvisor to update and install happened two days later. Fast and reliable service -two people on the other end of phone to book were lovely and very professional.
My initial call for getting my gutters cleaned was good but did cost me time. The customer service was great however I was specific regarding I had a 3 level house and the back area was particularly high. HomeAdvisor sent 1 person to do this job and although very nice and knowledgeable it was definitely a 2 person job. So, I had to reschedule which took additional time (to call and set up appointment and required me to be available another day and time). Although very satisfied with the service when I did get it.
Initially, my c. C. was charged before speaking with roofer. They did cancel the charge. Next, the payment process did not function, and I paid the business the old fashion way with a check. Angie e-mail advised me I was challenged. Won't be using their questionable service again.
I have never been so disappointed in customer service. I completely cancelled my membership with HomeAdvisor in April 2019 and I informed them to completed close my account and stop sending me leads.
But this what happen,

Dear Chai,
Please Note: You have remaining time on your membership and may occasionally receive Job Opportunities. You'll never be charged if you do not accept.
The leads never stop after my annual membership and my email is bombarded with emails, just recently I been charged for $280 for lead they said I accepted. I never did any business with HomeAdvisor. This sucks!
Home Advisor sent two handyman to my house to assemble a gazebo. They moved the boxes from my garage to the backyard, opened the three boxes then they looked at the manual, went to their car and came back saying they cannot do the job because one of them hurt his back. They just left leaving the boxes open and outside. All what HomeAdvisor said, they will find someone else
This company went above and beyond creating the kitchen of my dreams. My tiny kitchen was moved to a bigger room in my house. It was a huge job but Theo, the owner, made it look almost effortless... and ultimately... made it so much more than I imagined. Highly recommend this company.
So I signed up for this service and was quite impressed by what I was offered. I was told that if I paid the $29.99 service I would pay $43 per service, saving me money. I was extremely excited about the service. Well, that is as far as my excitement went as when the guy came out to do my lawn he did a bad job. He did not clean up the leaves and when he was done with the job he just left. I was a little off-put as I thought at least he could say 'Bye' but when I went out, I too would have run away. I guess he did not care about doing a good job. The whole premise of their fixed price promise is based on a lie and is misleading. As for my next service, I was charged early and was charged the full price. Not the 10% off. When I called up I was refunded but not after a lot of arguing. Avoid this company as their website uses words that define the service, but whether they are aware of it or not the company is breaking laws in legal terms of their promise.
Tip for consumers:
Keep away from this company they are deceptive in the worse way

HomeAdvisor/Angi has changed over past 2 years. I personally use in a crunch when no other options available due to growing pains within the company. Wish them well in future growth and success to come.
Core values of customer service, as with any merger/acquisition will have "growing pains"
Appreciate what you do and would further appreciate more resources being directed into customer service both on the client and vendor side.
Tip for consumers:
Commit to research hung and evaluating how to make the user interface more customer friendly in a manner that supports your business model while not discouraging customers to look elsewhere for services.
Being familiar with your platform, it still took me over 20 minutes to get to researching and contact information of your “recommended pro’s in my area.”
We all have google for that and one must now question what value is being added from your pay per lead platform.

Installation services from Ware Low Voltage.
Individual services from this company were EXCELLENT AND WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND EXPECTATIONS.
It is a superb company providing electrical services, tv installs, surround sound systems and more by licensed electricians.
This review is is directed at the HomeAdvisor experience which I was prompted to answer following excellent reviews of Ware Low Voltage.
Waiting over a week. Sent 9 estimate requests out... Zero return call (interior painting 1650 Sq house, nothing extraordinary). Ended up just googling a contractor with high ratings... everything done in 20 minutes.

M Furusa electrical is a rip-off contractor say away from his scams. Charges are whey out of line for common electrical service. I feel bad to write this negative review but be cautious when using website. Get 3 estimates and use the middle one.
I used Phixser a week ago. We had an emergency at home. One of the toilet was backing up and they were able to send a technician in 30 minutes from our call. I will definitely call them again for any plumbing matter
Greatscottslawncare - Scott did a fantastic job of grinding this horrible, big stump in the middle of my back yard. He is very professional and even cleaned up the chips, etc. too. Will definately hire again!
8 out if 10 leads are not legitimate. I've had 2 today that weren't legit. Have to argue over credit, dont get it, and still cant get a lead replacement. My 1 year service can't be finished soon enough. HomeAdvisor is a Horrible company, very unethical.
Nothing about what seller said. Different cost after close. Very hard to have refund about leads that didn't have result. Pay in advance. Any marketing should be more usefull, fair and effective than them.
I have been using them for 4 months but I am seriously considering dropping them even tho I paid almost $300 to be a member. Their leads have been mostly good but when its a bad lead it can be costly. They seem to charge around $28 for each lead. I'm a pretty good salesman and I have quite a few stars but it still stings when you can't get a credit for a bad lead.
Recently their computer didn't register my first contact call with 3 customers. The customers are not responding and now I can't get the credit I would normally be entitled to for having been given a bad lead. I just lost $90.00. I called the company before I asked for a credit and they said they had heard from other members with a similar complaint and would make a note.
If you can't afford to loose (they call it marketing/investing) $300 or more per month I do not recommend you go this route.
I can't say I regret signing up I just wish I done a lot more research first.
Tip for consumers:
TIP.
If you use them just tell them the 1 thing you are good at and know you will be able to sell easily. If you sign up for everything you WANT to do they will bury you and you WILL go broke.
Use the pause button as often as you need to slow down the bleedin$.

Just their regular membership.
I don't like new Angi as much. Have no idea if its "here's cost, we'll pick the pro for you" is good - prices seem high. I've made several inquiries and gotten no responses, even when Angi sent request to 4 or 5 people.
Top notch service from consultation to job completion. Prompt, professional, friendly, and competent. Stump Grinding Solutions LLC did a very good job grinding 5 small stumps in my back yard. Exceeded expectations by smoothing/leveling area not included in the original estimate. Well done!
