This was a significant investment for us, but one that was competitively offered. Mike and his crew were prompt, efficient, thorough, and completed the work in two days. The crew left our pool and surrounding landscape in good condition. I would recommend Desert Mesa Pools services to anyone needing pool deck repair.
Angi's leads has been hands down THE WORST lead service that I have ever used. Do not, I repeat, do not use their services. It's a complete rip off. They will send you a "lead" and charge you no matter what comes from it.Even if the lead is bogus. They sent me a lead where the number was disconnected, asked them for a a refund on the bad lead and no, the refund was denied. Sent me another with the wrong number, doesn't matter, still charged me $189 for the lead with no refund. I also found out that they will send you and 2-3 other people the same lead and charge everyone for the lead no matter what. It's a scam. I called and asked to speak to a supervisor, and even the supervisors were like Yep we send you the number and you can charge to matter what. Doesn't even matter if they don't call you back. Angi makes money by ripping off hard working people. So surprised that they are still in business. I would give zero stars if they allowed me to..
We needed a wheelchair ramp and got three estimates. The one Manny provided was by far the most detailed and although not the lowest it was very reasonably priced. The ramp is now complete and is perfect! The detailed drawing Manny provided helped with the HOA approval as well. I would recommend Manny the Handyman for any home repair!
We had three rather expensive ceiling fans sitting down in our basement and wanted to install them in rooms that had no fans. HomeAdvisor recommended Premier Alarms and Electric. Premier called me immediately, an appointment was set for an estimate, estimate was acceptable, date was set for installation of the fans, they showed up, did their work, and were cordial and respectful during the whole process. I have never regreted using HomeAdvisor and would use again for my next project.
I was looking for a licensed plumber who can check and certify the work done by someone else (my general contractor) because of township inspection. The work itself was good, but no one was willing to take a risk of accepting possible work failure done by others... so I was furiously looking for one. Then, Home Advisor found one for me. The plumber was amazing! He did much more than I anticipated. Thank you, Home Advisor!

Signed up with homeadvisor because a sales person from their offices called me and said there was an overflow of work in my area. I decided to give it a try because work was slowing down a bit.
DO NOT SIGN UP!
They charge astronomically for their leads, their leads are mediocre at best, and the refund process is nill.
I paid $300 for a year membership and now after a month of being dissatisfied, they say too bad.
Not worth it!
I have used HomeAdvisor 3 times. Each time the work was less than satisfactory. They descended like vultures when I had a roof leak. After reading how they treat their members I know why if they are constantly getting charged for "leads." The guy never fixed the leak, charged me a huge amount of money, then said he was refunding some of my money and sent me a photo of the check but never sent the check. When I left a bad review HomeAdvisor called me and refused to post my negative review! I will never use any of these services again and try more by word of mouth now.
I prepaid $400 to have Home Advisor pressure wash my house. The contractor never showed up and then called me to reschedule. I have been trying to cancel the contract and iota in a refund but have not been able to get my money back
Using HomeAdvisor allowed us access to contractors we were not familiar with but trusted because of their connection to this Organization. We were rewarded by discovering a great contractors who did a really good job at a very reasonable cost
Baloney excuse for No Show,, a turkey outfit, out for profit, just B. S. No show first, changed three time, never delivered on service signed for, reluctantly rebated, They have gone way downhill from two years ago. Would never use them again.

I had a great experience working with Derrick, he knows his job. He did everything that was expected of him, I have no regrets doing business with him... I will recommend him to as many families and friends when necessary.
Very polite young man who came save day to give me an estimate and list of materials needed. When I had the required materials, I let him know and he came the next day and repaired both projects in less than two hours. The work was done very well.
I received two timely responses from individuals listed with Home Advisor. I went with the first company who called right away as they met my requirements of time to start & complete the project. I called the 2nd person who also quickly answered my inquiry, and told him I had gone with the first one who called. He was good natured about it. I appreciate there was a way to connect with others who could do the job I needed without just taking a 'stab in the dark' on unknowns.
CTEC made a last minute, special trip to take down my leaning tower before it fell on my neighbor's house. I thought the price was fair and even tipped them for the hassle of working on my time frame. Strongly recommend them!
As a single woman, I haven't a clue who to contact for various projects around my home. Consequently, I rely on Home Advisor to provide me with contractors who can fulfill my needs. However, often times, the estimate provided by Home Advisor is higher than what the contractor quotes.
They scheduled an appointment that their handyman did not show up for. I called and notified them. 2 days later they charged my credit card and refused to refund the full amount charged. I had to find my own professional.
Got a call from Home Advisor representative asking if he could provide my number to a contractor, which I agreed to.
Contractor called me within the hour and I scheduled an appointment for an estimate. He was prompt and provided great service and I will use his company again.
Needed to finish a painting job prior to Thanksgiving. HA set me up with a few contractors who came quickly to give quotes and were able to get the job done on time! My home looked great for Thanksgiving dinner!
I should use Home Advisor a long time ago instead of wasting my time to call around myself with a lot of frustration and ridiculously high proposed quotes in the ends. Not to mention the inferior works with no warranties.
I am giving a review about Homeadvisor because of their outrageous fees and incessant calls after I terminated my contract. I lasted a day and half with $284 leads fees before I had a chance to review the lead, let alone contact thoses leads.
As a former contractor listed on Homeadvisor, the vetting process is a joke. The fees, as stated, are outrageous high. I wrote off $952 in Homeadvisor's expenses for one small $1800 project.
My advise, never get involved with Homeadvisor from a contractor point of view, nor as a client for their lack of background checks.
I joined Home Advisor in am attempt to enhance my business. Within 5 days I was sent 9 leads. Of the 9 only 2 were legit. 3 were suspect and 4 were discovered to be out right fraudulent. When confronting Home advisor they refused to credit the account. I disputed all charges with the cc company and canceled the card to prevent further charges. Now they won't remove my business from their search engines. I have joined the class action lawsuit against them and highly recommend others do the same
Hi Tommy, We're sorry to hear this, we do our best to provide you with the tools and opportunities to help you sell your business. There are situations that we are and are unable to credit back for but we are always happy to discuss any concerns about leads. It can take time for search engines to update and remove your HomeAdvisor listing but please send info to emailus@homeadvisor.com and we will make sure they get removed. -HASupport
When submitting a job to get company recommendations, be prepared to get multiple phone calls and emails even if you do not select to get an estimate. I had to change my number in the program due to so many calls from companies. It got overwhelming. I wanted to look at companies and do my research before getting inundated with calls.
Home advisor is a total SCAM. Leads are all trash. I got 10 leads and 10 were trash. I then Tried to get credit for the trash leads and they refused online and cant be reached on the phone unless your a new customer looking to sign up. Once your signed up,,,, forget about getting any customer service. Grade: F minus
I signed up in Jan, 2018 and paid $315 for one year listing and had to cancel the listing after one month. Reason the security was compromised my information was shared or sold to others. I was getting bogus leads and calls from overseas non stop so i had to cancel the listing with them when i complained to them they says there is nothing that they can do they did not even refund so i took the loose. If you not concern about your information been shared so you can sign up. I would strongly not recommend to any one. Hope this might help some one.
Signed up for home advisor and was happy to pay the annual feel for leads but then started getting other charges. Call in about these other charges and they're for the leads they send you. I was not informed about these charges except for the annual fee. Big scam $#*! this company stay away
I got two estimates and only one was professional, showed up when he said, was a couple $100 higher than the other but he proved his word by coming when he said and doing the work as fast as possible and guaranteed his work! The other company was over an hour late, even though he was a little cheaper, he proved unreliable by not even calling to say he would be later than he said!

In cahoots with affirm to create fake loans and commit robbery of thousands! Services r never delivered but fake loans continue. Home advisor refuses to remove fake billing so affirm can collect fake loans from thousands. Affirm said pay the fake loan or I ruin ur credit. Home advisor ANGI said complain all u want. We cannot be shut down. They refused to remove the fake loan! Only suing in small claims to force remedy because the government offices is an 8 month complaint process. You will regret doing business at home advisor or affirm connected to home advisor!
