HCC removed all skepticism associated with online furniture shopping. From the time I clicked the purchase button up to the delivery everything was perfect. I was assigned a representative named Kelly who kept me informed of every move of the entertainment center. Once the entertainment center arrived at my home it was assembled without a scratch. I would definitely recommend HCC to my friends and family. Excellent purchase and beautiful product!
Purchased a dining room table and 8 chairs and am so happy with this purchase. The quality is great and we got an amazing price. There is a design element (gold line) on the table that was hard to see in the online pictures but I actually really like in person. The delivery process was seamless and it arrived within the estimated delivery window. Nadir, the manager at Emma Mason was so helpful and gave us constant updates on our order progress and followed up post delivery to ensure the delivery was successful and satisfactory. The local delivery team was wonderful as well. Arrived well within the delivery window and they called ahead to give an update when they were close. They were courteous and put everything together quickly while being mindful not to damage anything.So excited to put this dining set in our new home

I bought a double-wide electric recliner in gray with separate motors to control the head and foot. The price was good a few dollars less than others. Any savings got eaten up by the cheap delivery the offer and having to hire workers to move it and set it up.
They said two week delivery but I ordered it July 19 and it arrived on August 11th.
When the recliner arrived it was the wrong color - dark brown instead of gray - and instead of having two motors, it had none.
I was smart enough to use Paypal so they couldn't just stiff me, but they are trying anyway. They told me that I have to pack and insure the recliner and ship it back to them or I don't get my money back. If this were my error, I would have no problem shouldering my responsibility, but this is their error and they want me to make myself whole on their behalf and at my own expense. I say NO! I say this is not my job.
In point of fact, they now owe me storage charges for this unusable recliner! I am going to have to escalate this through the credit card company because I need a resolution and these people have a constant busy signal on their telephone or I get sent to voice mail to which no one ever responds.
Paypal has said they will escalate this to the fix-it team and so I will see what they will do. In the meantime, it is a health issue for me since the doctors have told me I need to sleep sitting up and I can't get a new one in here until this one is vacated. I hate that this foot dragging company is messing with my health.
The representative was so rude and hung up! I called about my order to get an update, when he told me "it takes time, will get back to you (click)"
First time ordering from HCC and I was very impressed. Communication, packaging and shipping were very professional - I highly recommend and will use them again.
I found this company via a web search. I was purchasing a birthday present for my son who asked for a recliner with a built in table like at the movies.
I found a great one at a great price and promptly ordered.
The next day, however, I received an email that "brown" was not an available color (even though the website allowed that choice). I replied but got no response to my email, so I called back 3 days later. I wasn't even sure I had the right number because the person who answered didn't even identify himself. Honestly, I got the impression he was annoyed to even get a call. I told him why I was calling and I asked if, since I was having to settle for black instead of brown, if they could work something out on the $89 shipping cost. He said no. He asked me "do I want it or not?"
Since my son was already expecting this (I had shown him a picture on his actual birthday since I knew it would take some time to arrive), I went ahead and said ok, but I already wasn't inclined to do any further business with this company.
So, the order was confirmed in black, and I thought that was it.
Except two days later, I got another email:
"The item you have ordered is on extended backorder, and we do not anticipate having this in stock for at least the next 45 days. We have canceled your order and refunded your payment. Our apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused."
So, now I have nothing to show for the trouble, and I am very disappointed in this company, their lack of friendliness, and their inability to take and fulfill what should have been a simple order.
I would not recommend them at all.

Ordered my dining table set which they processed in January 2022, I received so far the dining set 10-12 seater with only 6 chairs.
2 arm chairs and and 2 side chairs are still pending to be delivered and they keep using the same excuse that it's on backorder. The second backorder which is now is supposed to be delivered today and I emailed them to ask for the status and their response is its on backorder AGAIN for another two months! No explanation. No sorry for the inconvenience of apology or even offering any sort of credit. This is robbery at its finest they have complete payment and have no delivered all my chairs yet. Very shady practices and the ladies who respond to the emails are are completely unsympathetic with no customer service skills. Beware of ever buying from them even if it seems cheap you won't get your stuff like me been waiting for 7 months so far now they told me to wait 2 more.
A full term pregnancy would have a mother give birth to a baby by now fir crying out loud... making a baby is faster than making and delivering a dining for this so called company. They should be ashamed and scared what will happen one day to them due to their unethical business activities and absolutely horrible customer service. I surely will be pursuing legal action against them having spent approximately $5500 on their 10-12 seater dining table. I would have been better off paying $6500 elsewhere so that i would be able to enjoy my dining table right now And eat dinner there with my family. Instead due to such incompetence of this company they have damaged their own reputation. Not even a simple explanation of why it's ok backorder a third time!? Or sorry even these people are incredulously careless. Be warned of purchasing anything from them. They won't give a s... darn if you ask them to speed up the delivery or explain. They are absolutely emotionally detached from addressing your concerns as a customer.

Don't order from them. They take all your money upfront, don't have payment plans, customer service is deplorable they do nothing for you just excuses and brush your concerns off.
Then on top of it after taking payment in full will make you wait for more than half a year with no effort to push or prioritize your order in any way shape or form or apologize for the delays and offer a credit or discount of sorts for the inconvenience of eating my money and not delivering the goods!

Ordered a piece of furniture from this company online. Was supposed to receive it before Thanksgiving and the shipping company they contracted with said their truck broke down and couldn't deliver. Six days go by and they finally deliver the box. The box had a 2' rip down the side and it caught my attention. Upon further inspection the furniture had a hole punched in the side. The item never made it off the truck and was returned to shipping co. I signed paperwork damaged, not recd. Tried contacting HomeCinemaCenter.com, left a message on a voicemail, John, hung up on my wife when she was trying to explain what happened, he also hung up on me today when I tried to call (also continued to speak over me while I tried to explain I wanted a refund for nondelivery). We will be doing a charge back from our CC company ASAP. There are plenty of other retailers online that provide excellent customer service, stand behind their products and value their reputation. DO NOT USE THIS RETAILER if the last three items are important to you.
I purchased a bunk bed for my kids from this website. Delivery was quick and I was excited to put the beds together. The weekend came and when we went to assemble the bunk beds my husband notice the head board was faulty and had come apart. Because we paid so much for the bunk beds I told my husband not to do anything more until I contacted the company.
When the company contacted me back this was their reply:
We have received your claim. It appears the top board on your headboard separated when you lifted/pulled this out of the box. You can correct this by pressing it back together and applying a very small amount of wood glue. Total remedy time is 2-5 minutes. If you have any other questions or concerns please let us know.
I'm sure most people would understand my disappointment, as my husband nor I ever "lifted" anything out of the box (we would seriously have to be 10 feet tall for that to work). I responded with:
My apologies for not explaining to you that we, at no point, needed to lift/pull the product out of the box, as we open the box so the whole product was showing (I can send you pictures if you'd like, as this product is STILL in my front room, in the same condition as I opened it.). The headboard is defective and I did not purchase a defective bed; instead I paid for a new/undamaged bed. Your remedy is not acceptable, as there is no guarantee that it will work/stay together. Also, your remedy time of 2-5 is moot, considering that you are not taking dry time or your response time into consideration.
Let's try this again, this time please offer me a solution, one of which you would be willing to accept if you were in my shoes.
Unfortunately that was on 3/16/16 and I have yet to hear back from them. I am using Paypal Resolution Center to speed up the process, but that can take up to 90 days.:/

The furniture I purchased, I'd been wanting from the first time I saw it (roughly about 5 years ago), and mostly everywhere else either discontinued it, had it priced way too high, or didn't have all the pieces, but Michael and your HomeCinemaCenter really came through! I had to wait a very long time, due to the pandemic and the delivery company coming out of New Jersey not being allowed into NYC, but when I got it, and it was put together,
I was in AWE! I love my set, and have already picked out the set for my spare room! I preferred for them to take the money up front (I even asked them too) so that I wouldn't accidentally spend it *because of other obligations), and they did, leaving me with the comfort of knowing when the time came, there
Would be nothing in the way between me and my furniture! The white glove delivery company they chose were as exceptional as their company!

Terrible service. I am very dissapointed.
The operator is often silent on the phone, makes big pauses and can not provide any useful information. When I call that company and it is always the same operator who answers I have impression that my call is not welcomed but rather annoying to the operator who is rude.
I called around September 15 to order an item. The operator confirmed the item is available and is in Virginia's factory. I placed an order on September 21 on line for the items stated usually ships in 2 - 3 business days. I called the operator on Monday 26 and got an answer that it will be PROBABLY shipped next week in Octobre!
The operator says to call back later that week to have more information but does not provide any help or assistance at all to try to meet the expectations that the company set up on the website.
It is very disspointing and having the operator on the phone who is not accomodating customer's concerns it is even more frustrating.
I will have to cancel my order!
Damaged items arrived. No updates in over two weeks. CSA outright refused to help me over the phone and referred me to email. Absolutely avoid!

Complaint Description:
Ordered an entertainment center. Upper was damaged upon receipt and documented with shipping company. Home Cinema Center Customer Service is unresponsive and difficult This company is a nightmare to deal with.
In January we ordered an entertainment center (two pieces). When delivered in March, without any prior notification, one box of two was damaged. One can clearly see two holes, presumably made by a forklift. This was documented on the shipping label, also signed by shipping company. I waited to notify company until we opened it (a couple days), hoping the piece escaped damage. It did not. The front of the top piece, the hutch, was damaged beyond repair. I emailed photos to Home Cinema Center. I never heard back. Periodically I called, but HCC doesn't answer their phones. I understood HCC would need to contact the manufacturer and the shipping company, and assumed they were reviewing the issue. After 6 weeks, I was growing concerned. I sent *another e-mail with stronger language. I also called during business hours. I was kept on hold until 4:01 and informed that customer service closed at 4:00. Finally, the next day, I received a terse reply from HCC, denying having heard from me or receiving anything. I again provided photos and supporting documentation. When someone responds, the correspondence is barely civil. I can see from complaints here and other places online that this is a pattern and a problem with Home Cinema Center. We need a replacement for the broken piece.

I called Home Cinema Center to inquire about a Catalina 5 pc library wall with optional ladder. I was told it would be white glove delivery before I placed the order online. However, when I received my shipping info for this exact order, my order did not indicate white glove delivery anywhere. It showed standard. When I called Home Cinema Center about my order, I was then told I could add white glove for an additional fee. Every Parker House library wall on their website shows free white glove delivery. The unit I ordered showed white glove delivery. They have removed my unit from their website. They made a mistake with my order and shipped my unit with standard delivery and want me to pay extra for white glove service. They refuse to correct their mistake. I have sent several emails to them with little response. My emails have included examples from their website of the white glove service and of their policy. I have requested to speak to a manager. No one will call me. No one will forward my emails to management. Customer service has been nothing but rude and dismissive. When I called December 29,2021, I asked to speak to a manager and the owner. The agent who answered the phone refused to let me speak to a manager or the owner no matter how many times I asked. He stated that if I canceled my order that I would receive no money back, that I would be sued, that his word was law, and then he hung up on me. I was going to order another library wall, but this company will never get my business again. I cannot believe the response I have been getting from them after I've spent almost $4,000. I don't know how I can be refused the option to speak to management or the owner.

Customer service is awful. They don’t know their own policies. They take weeks to respond to emails. If you call, they won’t let you talk to a manager. If you call and can’t get anything resolved, they become rude and hang up on you.
