I was denied a $6 bag of cement at home depot...I was approved for $1,900 credit.
I never missed a payment.
I always pay more than a minimum.
My credit score changed because of an issue that I had resolved with another company. And i'm making the payments to them.
Home depot decided they would just change my approved credit based on solely an issue I had with another company whether I was right or wrong...
They dropped me down to $500 with no notification or justification other than a change in my credit score despite my payments with them.
I'm not charging anything on their card anymore. I'm finding another hardware store and applying for credit there. I've never experienced anyone ever taking down the approved credit for you because of something you old to someone else. I would not recommend getting the home depot credit card.
Tip for consumers:
Don't apply for their credit card. They will hold any bills that you have not paid with someone else against you of credit with them.

This is by far the worst appliance we have ever owned. We purchased our washer/dryer about a year ago. The washer is not energy efficient waste of water and electricity. The washer does not spin the water from my clothes. You have to adjust the items in the washer so it is balanced. Reset it to drain and spin, then it fills again with water to balance the items and then it is supposed to spin. It is nothing for me to adjust the items in the washer 3 or 4 times. Yesterday I washed a set of queen sheets and a tablecloth…I had to balance and reset the sheets 5 times, even set it to maximum spin.
