My husband and I decided after many years our pre-lit Christmas tree needed to be retired. We went tree shopping and found a great tree. It looks and feels like the real deal.
I was in home depot for 30 min before someone could help me. No one on the isles anymore, and it's all self checkout. What happened? It has gone so far down hill. Plants are SO over priced. Guess I'm moving over to Lowes.
I have never felt more disrespected by someone whom in the position of "leader/manager" The manager Sherrie is rude and does not know how to talk to customers. I want to say more but I'm sure I'm not the only person "like me" who has felt this way.
Then when I caught up with my debit card, when I got caught up with my bank on charges, I noticed one day after going there, they were passing around my card. It ended up being a lot. Easternbank had to change everybody's debit card or debit card, because it was happening to everyone. If I ever go there, I will use Cash only;
In June 2016, I made an online application for credit. That was approved and I received the credit card with the details about it. Two months later I tried pay by this credit card in The Home Depot Store and the card was decline. When I call for information about the problem, they talked to me like police do to stealer in custody. They said my account is closed.
I'm a business owner for 24 years. I have no bad credit.
The worts, they never send to me any explanation about their desicion as a law require.
Maybe the problem was I'm Hispanic.
I wanted to buy a range and found a competitor price much lower. I called Home Depot to order - they checked and verified they would price match. But i wanted to pay over the phone which they said i couldn't do. They told me to call the online department. After spending 40 minutes on the phone, this department said local HD was wrong and they would not honor price match. I am boycotting Home Depot forever - false advertising
I've had a terrible experience during my first visit at Home Depot located in Matthews, North Carolina. I had already bought a twin mattress from a store, and was looking to buy a nice bed frame. I was recommended from friends and family to go to Home Depot, which was the worst mistake I've made so far. We ordered the bed frame and built it twice. Following that we went to the store to check about a screw because it turns out that a few were missing. Unfortunately, the screws weren't available. Following that, I decided to enquire about the top wooden piece of the bed frame. After a few minutes at customer service it turned out that they delivered it incomplete, and it would take another 2 weeks to deliver. So I had to un-do the entire bed frame and return it, making it the third time to assemble the bed.
I never had a problem with Home Depot.
When I visit I know what I need. They will either have it or not. Customer service never let me down. Their paint department matched a paint color for me that their competitor (Lowes) had sold to me and then they (Lowes) told me they couldn't match!... couldn't figure that one out as I had Lowes paint mix label from the top of the can!
My review is as follows the store in East Liberty starting with the parking lot there is no place for people to park anymore they have 15 to 20 freight trucks for whatever reason seniors have to push their goods a half a block to there car the employees in the store knows little to nothing about the product and when you ask them the first thing they say this is not my department there's not enough help in the store all the employees are having individual conversations with each other it's time for new management and a complete overhaul at the East Liberty store it's a total mess particularly once again they're parking lot it's total chaos never seen anything like it before.
My husband purchased a refrigerator on May 28,2023 at Milpitas Home Depot store. It was arranged for delivery on June 21, promised to be delivered before 2pm. My husband waited on June 21 till 2:30pm, delivery not happened, gave *******150 a call and the person requested my husband to continue to wait, it turned out not delivered. My husband rescheduled it for June 23, that person promised to deliver in the morning. On June 23, by 6pm still not delivered, we called that phone number, Kaleb answered and said it was not loaded, he asked us to reschedule. How can we have faith for the delivery? If not loaded, why not informed us sooner than waiting for a whole day? Is it for customer service? Very poor arrangement. We are not work from home, we have to take time off to wait, how many days off request before the item arrived? Future customers, prepare to take your vacation time to wait for the item to be delivered. Should be rated as zero star, sorry.
The washer worked fine, but the dryer would take multiple, multiple cycles to dry clothes doesn't work, essentially. I chatted with the Home Depot associate but doesnt listen to me. Home Depot does not even deserve 1 star.
I ordered a close dryer from Home Depot and paid extra to have it installed. The man who came to install the close dryer said he couldn't because the old dryer was hard wired. I said to him at that time just unplug it but he insisted that it was hard wired and I needed an electrician to take care of it before it could be installed. I ask him to leave the new dryer and he would not. I cancelled the new dryer. I had an electrician examine the dryer and he simply unplugged the old dryer. It was never hard wired. It cost me $69 for an electrician to unplug the old dryer. When I called Home Depot to complain I was put on hold for a very long time before I gave up and hung up. I will never purchase anything else from Home Depot and I suggest you don't either. I will give my business to Lowe's. I had to give this review one star only to be able to post it - they don't deserve any stars.

Can't believe you got rid of Darren Niemi he always helped me with finding the right tools, and giving me advice about the tools he always asked if I needed help with anything else I might need. I always went to him and no one else.
I placed order online then, I change my mined the same day and called customer service and the guy I talked with told me they can't process cancellation until Monday may 5/1/17... Then I called back Monday and they told me it's already shipped. I told them the shipping est. Day on the order said from 5/8-5/10 and I called because the staff I ordered is large thing and it's hard for me to take it to the store. Yesterday they brought it left it in my apartment door. It came like in 2day. I was it's really make me to hate that I ordered from them.
So Walmart did not have enough of a product on the shelf. I purchase larger quantities for my business of glass cleaner. Home Depot allowed me to order a larger quantity and they shipped it to my office for free. Walmart wanted to charge shipping on top. So Home Depot was $. 01 per can more but free shipping. Good job Home Depot. To add another observation about Home Depot. I have ALWAYS had GREAT customer service and EXCEPTIONAL customer service and knowledge from the electrical, tools, and hardware departments!
I ordered a faucet. They shipped it with the box all messed up and banged up. They had to tape the box up just to hold it together. I posted a review on their site with pictures and they emailed me to tell me it didnt fit in their online posting guidelines. What I wrote here was exactly what I wrote along with pictures. I questioned how it didnt fit into their guidelines. I never received a response. I believe people need to know that when they order online it might come all mangled like mine. Very unprofessional.
Do not order curbside pickup here. I needed two items today. One item was ready for pickup. The other was not despite being available in the store. In the store, I was told I could buy the other item but they couldn't cancel it there because the original order had already started shipping. After getting home, I called Home Depot to cancel. For some reason, they were shipping that item to me and would not cancel the order.
I placed an order online. Delivery date at store next day. I go to the store the next day and they have no record of my order based on my phone number even though they have my whole history. I show them my order # and then they tell me my order is not expected for 14 days. I ask them to cancel the order and they tell me an order in transit cannot be canceled until it arrives to store. Hmmm. So the order cannot be reversed while it is in transit and it is not due to arrive for 2 whole weeks. Where is this shop light coming from? Mars? And why can't an order being shipped to their store be cancelled?
Ridiculous. Would never recommend. Was advised that a DRF installer would be out today, Monday, and then they call and say that they cannot make it until Friday. Really -- Home Depot advertises same day install using DRF. At no time, when I spoke to the first gentlemen setting up the appointment, was I told that they may not be able to make the appointment. If I had, I would never had made the appointment. I now had to scramble to contact another plumbing company to get my non-working water heater replaced. I would not recommend this company nor would I recommend anyone use Home Depot for buying a water heater. This company also made Home Depot lose a customer for life!
I ordered online september 7 asked me to pick a date i did picked the 12 which was thursday and i got no call no nothing on my order waited 4 hours i had to go to hosipital because my chest was hurting all day i went at 7pm i waited for those fxxkers all damn day and they excuse was they truck broke down only because they raised the price so i dont want to reorder plus only place that takes paypal 1700$ worst company ever they never called nothing so i knew nothing about my washer and dryer.
The laheronia is a big online shopping place and their customer service is mind-blowing. The delivered their product to their customers very quick. There are variety of dresses here. I like to shopping here very much. Highly recommended the laheronia!
(2ndtime) they showed up with my washer and dryer without calling and then asked to move the car, while I out moving the car they entered my home (have a rotweiler) put the washer and dryer in the back hallway and left! I was told they would stack them for me instead at my age,>60. I was supposed to pick up the dryer and put it on top! I called them and they said it wasn't their problem I should call Home Depot! Home Depot says they don't have anything to do with the delivery. And they will never have anything to do with deliveries from me anymore because I'll go to Lowe's! Rude unhelpful dangerous. Luckily my dog was crated as I would not think delivery people would enter the home without being shown in.
Home Depot's inept installers of a new washer machine damaged my property (they were asking ME which way to turn the faucets). Home Depot has given me the runaround since then.
WORK ORDER H4641-*******
1. The inept installers damaged the faucets and wall where the new washer was to connect to the plumbing. They then left.
2. The "associate store manager" at the Reston VA office (a Mr. Wright) assured me Home Depot would fix it after I sent him the photos of the damage that he asked for,
3. Home Depot did NOT fix it and authorized me to get my own plumber and send Home Depot the invoice. I did.
4. Home Dept then told me that I would have to deal with their insurance company at some unspecified location.
5. Since then, I have been given the run-around. No reimbursement, no contact from their insurance, nothing.
I order a lot of hardware for my employer from real hardware companies like McMaster-Carr & Grainger. The contrast between them (and they will take retail orders) and Home Depot is like night & day - but not in Home Depots favor.
A typical online order to McMaster-Carr & Grainger ships within hours, and most orders are delivered (for free) the next day. When I've ordered online from Home Depot, which I only do as a last resort, I've yet to have them ship in under 5 days, and then have it take several more days for delivery. And incredible FAIL by Home Depot, especially in this day & age.
The only way some reviews here could be positive is those folks don't do much online ordering, so don't have much experience with top notch online retailers like Amazon or Newegg.
Very sad, built in America but does not stand by their products! When it comes to the warranties of their products they dont hold water, just like the US LEISURE STRONGHOLD shed I purchased.

I purchased a new electric steam dryer to replace the gas version I had. I had a pedestal and a washer already installed. The Home Depot delivery person refused to install the dryer, although I had paid for installation (they make you purchase installation parts from them). He said because I already had a washer and the pedestal wasn't new (2 years old), he wouldn't install it. There was no mention of this on the Home Depot website. I called Home Depot to complain and was told that I would have to pay someone else to install it. Horrible customer service and complete dishonesty on their part. I could have purchased the same dryer from another company.
I went to Rochester Hills location seen a storage cabinet that I wanted, the store associate informed me that it was not in stock. Suggested I order it on line. I did so receiving a promise date of 10 days. On the 12th day I have yet to receive it. I contacted home depot to get an update. The customer service was totally useful. I was told to give it a few more days and then I can request a refund that will take an addional 5 to 10 days to receive.
