I was in home depot for 30 min before someone could help me. No one on the isles anymore, and it's all self checkout. What happened? It has gone so far down hill. Plants are SO over priced. Guess I'm moving over to Lowes.

They are cheater's or lacking copmetance. I have cancelled the order because they couldn't deliver before 4:30pm. To acknowledge cancellation it took them 3 weeks. I am still waiting for refund of over $1000.

Been buying from homedepot for many years but recently felt something bad is going on at yhe Scottsdale Heyden location. All the hreat pro desk people that were there for years arw gone and new faces come and go weekly. Service level is horrible especially from pro desk supervisor Steven and store manager Steve. They don't really care about a thing giving me the feeling they don't really want my business. Bad vibe going on over there.
Try to avoid and explore the other options which I find better today.
We bought a marble countertop at HP who uses a third party to supply and also to install it. Two cracks appeared after it was installed, roughly within days. We called HP and left messages only to get the round around for weeks which has turned into almost a year. DON'T buy a countertop from them as they say they will make it right but they dont and have not. It has been 10 months, they refused to do as we wish and replace the countertop, said they would instead give a refund of less than one third of what we paid, we have yet to recive this. I am thoroughly digusted with Home Depot and will never darken their doorway in my life again. We have already spent thousands upon thousands but not another penny from us. We are huge DYI'ers and will go anywhere else to purchase our needed supplies in the future. Shame on you HP! Very unsatisfied and sorry I have purchased so much from this store in the past.
I've been a loyal Home Depot customer for years until I had to go to Lowes to get a plumbing fitting that Home Depot didn't carry. While at Lowes I saw the price for a Charlotte 10' 3" schedule 30 pipe was $15. A week earlier I purchased 5- 10' 3" schedule 30 pipe, same brand, at Home Depot for $37 each pipe! Needless to say, I'm pissed and feel like Home Depot is price gouging.

Here's something you're going to NOT see in other places. NEED the MSDS (Material Data Safety Sheet) for an item you're buying at Home Depot for OHSA right to know requirements? HomeDepot.com has them for almost every item they sell (well, if it has and MSDS that is...). The site is easy to navigate and useful in chasing items I might not be sure they have, saves a lot of driving store to store... Like the yellow pages used to say, "Let your fingers do the walking"...
It is with a sad heart that I will no longer be a loyal Home Depot customer. I purchase several thousand each year along with many of my other veteran friends. We will all be moving our business to Lowes from this day forward. Currently I was trying to purchase three large Maytag appliances using my military discount. I called in to receive the discount off my online purchases of 2000+ to be informed they no longer offer the discount for the web purchases. I proceeded to check my local store to find said items & they were available but the discount STILL wouldn't be given. I went online to Lowes AND they not only had said items for same price BUT they give online military discounts WITHOUT calling! Everyone inform ALL your vet friends in addition to your other friends of the recent changes.
Purchased an LG refrigerator on June 30th which was delivered on July 7th. Noticed that ice maker and water dispenser did not work correctly. Checking behind refrigerator - notice water leaking out from a broken line. Contacted Plymouth, MA. Sales person next day. A replacement refrigerator to be delivered July 10th which turned out to be only delivery guy checking the problem and leaving. He determined a replacement refrigerator to be delivered. On July 21 delivery guy arrived looked at the problem and fixed it. Why didn't the repairman on10th do the same thing. Very poor service from him but great response later. So much time wasted. I will no longer shop at Home Depot. Service is great at the beginning than it stops. Sad!
I brought back two bathroom faucets at Home depot. I showed them a receipt and they told me they would issue a store credit. My store credit is for $351.00. I went on line to purchase lighting and they said i couldn't use the store credit for on line order. The store doesn't have the lighting i want. So i called corporate customer service they told me its for in store use only. I told them they stole my money and telling me how to spend it. They responded by saying we are sorry.
I drove 200 miles to the WEST VALLEY UT STORE AND BOUGHT A WASHER/DRYER and REFRIGERATOR. I PAID FOR THEM. THEY PROMISED ME THAT THE APPLIANCE WOULD NOT BE DELIVERED TO ANYONE BUT ME, IT WAS OFF THE INVENTORY. I COULD COUNT ON IT. TODAY THEY EMAILED ME TO TELL ME IT WILL BE 11/30 not 11/19. That is likely the same lie I've already heard! Money gone- no Refrigerator for Thanksgiving, thank you very much! Their answer was "sorry" and "want your money back?" Inexcusable! Lying sacks! Trust GONE.

I ordered a refrigerator 3 weeks ago. It wasn't delivered the first week bc they needed a smaller truck. 2nd week they delivered a horribly damaged refrigerator. They were supposed to come today between 3:45-7:45. It is now 9:42 and still no refrigerator and no phone call
I have ordered one item on Apr 13 2020 on Home Depot website and till Apr 30 2020 there is no shipment of item - The worst experience with the worst website (There is no cancellation of order, and toll free number is not working). Hate it
I want to thank Ms. Lamyra Simmons and Tim Herber, both with the HD at ******* West Broad Street, Glen Allen, VA ******* store, who worked hard for me last week during my purchase of 3 new appliances for my home. Ms. Simmons even stayed beyond her "going home" time to assist me, since at the time of my arrival at the store, there wasn't a replacement for her. From there, Mr. Herber came from flooring to assist Ms. Simmons, and he continued to provide the excellent customer service Ms. Simmons had shown me. Thanks to both, good customer service is invaluable!
Tom Yusak is the store manager of Homewood, IL Home Depot and was extremely customer friendly, professional and accomodating when I arrived on 7/27/19 to inform that my bricks for my patio project was 155 bricks short. He was attentive to my needs and did not argue in regards to charging me an additional delivery fee for the remaining bricks to e delivered. He walked me through aisle of bricks and calculated to the "nine"! And promised me a delivery on the same day of original date. WOW! What a welcome change in customer service! KUDOS Tom on a job well done. I was prepared to come with guns blazing but there was no need. Keep up the good work.! 2nd delivery on that date arrived with 2 Home Depot young men who was also professional and accomodating in that delivered items to the site of my project without incident, on time and greeted me with a smile. They were (DeShawn and Jose'). I am so happy with my recent experience and would recommend to any and everyone to this Homewood store!
I purchaed it online and had it delivered. The box was a bit tattered, which was a sign of issues. I opened to see inside was not new packaged. Then to make it worse, the coil would not come out and is RUSTED! Meaning someone used it and returned it. Am I the one to use it? No way! I am returning this and caused me a waste of time as I needed to use it today urgently. My urgent work goes down the drain, while i have to spend time and hassle to return this and get a good one. I feel so dissapointed and cheated.
Customer service is terrible. They dont stand vehind their warranties. They will be rude. Extremely. Stay away from osage Beach Missouri store or all homedepot stores. National customer service is terrible.

I ordered a chest freezer on April 29th with a delivery date on July 1st due to backorder over Chinese Coronavirus. The day before delivery, the delivery was changed to August 5th! The delay significantly impacted my business operations. I asked for compensation for delayed delivery and/or the last minute notice, and was denied. Thanks for nothing HomeDepot!
Today March 15th we were in the Peoria Arizona store shopping products for our home remodel. The department staff was rude, it was like we offended them asking for CUSTOMER service. The store was well staffed but none of them would assist customers, the rudest employee was a big Fat old guy with a fat red face who worked in the door department. All he would do is argue with us and say "Well look it up online" So we did and bought everything online from E-Bay. I'm done with Depot

I made an order for my new home was for $4200 i called to check on the status of the order and the sale agent was lost or on drugs she canceled my complete order and then submit another oder which both didnt go through and he went over my credit limit and damaged my credit! As of now my card is full and i have no order and lost all my items! Worst experience will never step inside this place ever again! Also once you call and ask for managers they will keep you on hold for about an hour and hang up the phone! Took me 3 full day in order to speak to a manager! Worst experience ever
I ordered a ladder on 9/10 that supposed to be delivered to the store on 9/16-21. It is only 100 miles away in their warehouse. Received email that the product in on the way and will be there on 21st. 100 miles, I can walk there and back in 11 days. Comes 20th and I tried to track the progress but no tracking is available. Called customer service and they told me that they can't track it either. Comes 21st still no tracking. Called customer service they said more likely item is already in the store and to call the store. I tried to call the store but no one is picking up. Comes 22nd I finally was able to reach someone in the store and got the same exact answer. CAN'T TRACK.
Called customer service again. They said had to re-order the item again and send it to the store. For another week of wait.
I never liked the Home Depot because I think they are really bad but this one really tops it all.
I am a buisness owner and spend a lot of cash. I spend 10s of thousands per month... not anymore. I really dislike returning things but today I had to. It was all piling up. I was told this would be tye only return I could make. What the? I told the person he was f'ed in the head. I will return whatever the heck I want. However, noneex for any issues... Iwill never go to ho-depot ever again. I don't need to.

Half of my order is missing and no one can pull their head out of their butts long enough to find out where the other half is. They keep telling me they can't get a hold of the seller? Why do business with an UNREPUTABLE 3rd party company in the first place? Its now going on 2 weeks and still no resolution. What a joke. I will NEVER order from Home Depot again.

I have a Home Depot credit card. I have had it for quite a while. When it was time for another project, I was unable to use the card because they said I hadn't used it in a while. Not because I haven't paid the bill or was over my limit. I am not going to use it just to use it. When I have a project and know I can afford to pay the credit card bill, that is when I would use it. I called customer service to try and get it reinstated but they said I couldn't do that. I would need to apply for a new credit card. I always paid my bill on time and made extra payments. It does not cost them anything if I don't owe them anything, I will take all my projects to Lowes. Let see if they would like a loyal customer that only makes purchases when they can afford them.
West Long Branch New Jersey Home Depot is very corrupted and discriminating against foreigners only about five good people working there the other ones very lazy and very uneducated they are standing talking to each other and pretending like they have no time to help to find specific product they don't know how to use computers and they don't know about the products in Home Depot. The customer service women are very lazy and uneducated about things that they are doing. Next time I try to get their names to show in my writing including the the lazy and with no knowledge men from the electrical department who is the supervisor and more of them release in future. They discriminate against foreigners like me with the best hair ever due to their jealousy they discriminate even against my genius dog poocho.
