My husband and I decided after many years our pre-lit Christmas tree needed to be retired. We went tree shopping and found a great tree. It looks and feels like the real deal.
I was in home depot for 30 min before someone could help me. No one on the isles anymore, and it's all self checkout. What happened? It has gone so far down hill. Plants are SO over priced. Guess I'm moving over to Lowes.

It has been a nightmare. I had over $2000 stolen from their pro referral and after 40 emails and 20 phone calls they state no responsibility for the contractors actions. And no responsibility for leading me to him and reassuring me of his credentials. How will I ever get my money back. The contractors insurance company?

Home Depot NO COMPASSION FOR CUSTOMERS. I purchased some flooring and before finishing the installation, my Sons CANCER turned for the worse, so did not have time to finish floor, as I was helping to take care of him, and wanted to spend time with him, he passed away and then I completed the floor and had purchased more flooring than I needed and they will not refund me for the flooring as it is past the return time frame on the receipt. I was happy to take a store credit for it, Very very disappointing. All of you who either have had Cancer or someone you loved or knew, had Cancer which is almost everyone in the World may want to think twice about shopping at Home Depot.
The salesman in appliances was very helpful when I needed a new oven. Not having the countertop oven I wanted, he looked it up online, ordered it and I picked it up in five days. No fuss, no muss. I couldn't be happier!
Purchased a vanity with threshold delivery because I'm disabled have terminal cancer scheduled delivery was for 07/03/23 on Saturday 07/01/23 at 6:30am I looked out window and vanity was out there on the street now I have to pay someone to finish the delivery meanwhile Home Depot takes credit for delivery I will never buy a mail from them again.I don't advice anyone to do business with them…I called the delivery company and when the man realized why I was calling he made out like he was a recording and told me to leave a message. Not only do they charge you for one thing and do another but they make a joke out of you Thank You Home Depot but never again!

I have a fairly large lawn in town that takes an hour to cut and was spectacle about buying a battery operated lawn mower but surprise surprise it was the best 700 dollars I spent. Nice and quiet no worries about gas and oil anymore Iawn was completely done and still lots of power. Lawn looked like it was pressed after mowing no lines in it. I kept it on 1/4 speed and I was jogging i hate to see full speed lol. Cleans up nice and easy and can be stored sideways for easy storage not like gas when tip them sideways gets in filter and there goes a cost of buying a new filter and just a pain. Setup out of the box is easy since it folds like a small table. Light enough the wife can put it away easily. And she cuts the lawn because it is not noisy do not have to wear ear muffs and blow your ear drums. Takes 5 minutes to clean up with water. What else can I say Ryobi you come a long way. Here is pics after lawn is cut and how clean lawn mower stays after cleaned. Yes an extra battery is expensive but so is an EV battery just have to look after and store it properly. I give this lawnmower a 10 star rating for use and overall rating.
If you need to use a box store for a hardware, this is much preferable to LOWES. They have such better service. Whenever I go to Lowes, something gets messed up. Staff are rude or non-existent.

Our company now has 3 Eoslift Industrial Lift's in the shop. Our latest purchase was another TAD35. It is so easy to maneuver around the shop and easy to lift and lower to prevent any injuries, which is so important.
As a new home owner I cant be more happy about the home depot paint department. The staff points me in the right direction to save money instead of up selling

I would say worst customer service ever, but that would imply customer service actually exists for on-line orders. Order has shown shipped but not data from UPS for about 10 days, no way to actually see happened.
Their ON-LINE world is TERRIBLE. They don't care. Stores are fine but ON-LINE IS THE WORST. Only options is like 45 minute wait on the phone

I recently had a delivery scheduled with Home Depot for a new washing machine, but I was left disappointed and frustrated with their service. The delivery men came and went without delivering my washer and without any warning or notification. I was at home and waiting for the delivery all day, they showed up and stated they would not deliver the washer upstairs, I said it was okay and for them to just leave in the living room as I would deal with moving it upstairs myself. They then started unboxing the washer in the middle of my driveway for some reason. When I asked why they would do this and increase the chance of it getting damaged as they bring it into the house, they threw it back on the truck while we were waiting for them inside and took off! When I called to inquire, they told me, the driver said it was a wrong item which is a lie, I was given little information and no apology. Just a cancelled order out of nowhere. The lack of communication, professionalism, and follow-through with support was unacceptable. I do not recommend Home Depot for anyone in need of reliable delivery service.

I reached out to the New Hartford NY Home Depot to help me with a challenge I was having with one of the appliance companies. (The issue had absolutely no connection to the store except it was where I bought it.) MIke, one of the store managers, actually listened to my saga and took it upon himself to help me solve the problem. On his own, he reached out to corporate and got Greg involved. Rather than just saying that the manual says a certain thing, they got creative, they reached out to their superiors with an idea and a solution. Within a couple of hours they solved what the other rigid and inflexible company could not do in a year. This is not the first time I've had a Home Depot employee reach out to his supervisor to help me solve a challenge - luckily just a building challenge in the past! No company can be perfect, and not all employees have the experience or maybe the creativity to solve every problem. But respectfully reaching out to a manager can often make the difference we look for.

If you're having an issue, help the person you are reaching out to, to understand from a personal perspective why it's important. Don't we all want to help people who respect us and treat us as human beings?
I'm very disappointed with home depot delivery service I purchased a fridge on 6-27-2021 and I told the salesman I need delivery before the 4th of July my delivery was scheduled for july2 they said I would get a courtesy call 30 min before they arrive. Well the didn't call they just popped up I told them I was about 20 min away but they said they can't wait to keep the short it July 10 and still no fridge

Purchased 3 sets, 18 lights, of Hampton Bay low-voltage pathway lights and timer/transformer from Home Depot. Lighting strike in June near our home took out 10 lights and the timer transformer. Was only able to obtain replacement timer transformer via ebay. While lights were shown as unavailable from Home Depot for a couple of months they were shown as available on-line in early August. Placed order for two sets of 6 lights on Aug 3 and received "notification of shipment" on Aug 4. For over the subsequent month the status showed delivery was always about 4 days from then current date. I subsequently discovered that FedEx never received the packages from Home Depot. Despite extensive correspondence with Home Depot, at multiple levels, I have never received an explanation as to why Home Depot failed to deliver the product to FedEx or whether the lights will every be available in the short or long term. If there is a supply chain issue and Home Depot is making an effort to get the lights from Hampton Bay, or they do not intend to re-stock the lights, they could have at least told me that..
You can shop home depot and buy more than you need, example buy extra paint, not to run out before you finish painting, return the rest for a full refund.
Home Depot has there competitions beat by far, world class customer service great reliable products clean stores and best of all knowledgeable staff all the through. Good job Home Depot

Opened this account in 2003. Used it nonstop since then. Same thing same way every time. Bought something, then set up automatic payments so I never have to think or worry about it. Autopay was a day late on 4th of July weekend and HD got the payment the next day. The late fee charge caused my minimum balance to increase. Of course my auto pay does not know this and the problem keeps spiraling. I don't open my bill because I don't need to. I took care of it from the beginning. I opened one to see how much has been paid off and I owed what I purchased it for.
I called to hopefully resolve the issue and spoke with disrespectful cs reps from of course, overseas who can't understand what's happened much less, English. Got a supervisor who was just as condescending and treating me like I don't know how to pay a bill. I understand some people don't. I'm obsessed with paying everything on time and usually in full.
But it doesn't matter. I recommend you open your bill regardless of autopay every month so cc companies don't steal from you more than they already do and get away with it.
I have never had this happen before with Home Depot, what changed? I closed my account and I really thought we had a good relationship. Disappointing.

I walk in a HomeDepot and I'm almost always sure they got what I need. Customer service isn't always the best, but they've gotten better since their new competitor, Lowe's, came to town.
I love Home Depot! I go to my local store quite often. Even though a lot of the clerks don't know everything that is in the store, they do their best to help you.
