My husband and I decided after many years our pre-lit Christmas tree needed to be retired. We went tree shopping and found a great tree. It looks and feels like the real deal.
I was in home depot for 30 min before someone could help me. No one on the isles anymore, and it's all self checkout. What happened? It has gone so far down hill. Plants are SO over priced. Guess I'm moving over to Lowes.
Placed a large order for delivery; never arrived, no communication, on hold for 2+ hourswe can do much better!
I went and bought 3 gallons of paint. First 2 were good, I started painting all happy with my new home and then. The 3rd can I noticed it wasn't the right color I had asked for. Went to my purse to look for my receipt but I lost it. I thought it shouldn't be a huge problem since the paint can had a sticker with the info saying it was purchased there the day before.
I was very polite and super patient waiting to get helped. The lady looked frustrated I had a bad feeling. I still kindly explained the situation and the lady in a super sour way repeated No no. No receipt no return. I told her I didn't want a return I wanted the paint to be corrected. She looked annoyed she really didn't want to be there. A gentlemen came over but didn't do much. Seemed totally clueless and gave her the last word. So you give me the wrong color and get upset when I ask for you to fix it? No Receipt No Refund? Understand completly. But not being able to fix your mistake. Super unprofessional simply horrible. $45 behr paint to waste.
DEFECTIVE MERCHANDISE, Several returns and horrible customer relations. Retired old men who are fortunate enough to get a job respond to customers like they know everything. They work in lawn and garden but challenges you in electrics. I recently submitted a review about the Credit Card Scam with Home Depot Credit. What a major rip-off. I reiterate, don't get a credit card even if you have excellent credit unless there's is a minority issue. Our credit rating is 752 and our interest rate at Home Depot is 27- 29%. When we challenged it we got scripted answers and scripted responses form someone who is obviously overpaid to be the trained? After remodeling two homes and spending more than some folks annual salary at Home Depot I would never shop there again even if they were giving something away. And I mentioned, don't call corporate you won't get anyone but you will get the trained script person who battles on e-mails to tell you how important their customers are. Darn straight the customers are important if you are getting 30 cent on a dollar in interest. They are paying your salary. Oh and don't be a day late because they also have a trained telephone harasser. Never late in two and a half years always paid the bill by phone or in person at the store and always paid more than their minimum which was well over $100 bucks. But 4 days and we were threatened and received phone calls twice a day by a person who said they would keep calling until we gave them our banking information. What a miserable group of people. No I don't like Home DePot at all and I humbly apologize to Office Depot for not having my glasses on and mixing the two of them up. Save you receipts. Even though they have all you information in the computer you have to go through absolute nonsense when you pay in cash and bring back a defective and broken product hours after the purchase. NOPE, I have nothing nice to say about Home Depot. My contracts will now shop somewhere else or they will contract for someone else.
This is incredible, this store in oak cliff in Dallas, Tx doesn't provide masks anymore, wake up, pandemic still and cases are growing
I found this web site very difficult to use. I bought washer & dryer and can't even register the insurance that I purchased.
Not many employees are trained to help and the self check is awful. Really, too cheap to hire someone to take my money!?
These days you have to order everything. Their site is getting easier to use. Love the free ship to store for small items.
Very helpful. Had 3 people check to see if I needed assistance. Nice lady at the register greeted me and was very helpful.
Love the website. Easy to navigate. Many reviews of products which is very helpful. I never shop there without checking the online reviews.
I use Homedepot for special orders and every time I go to pickup the product it takes an inordinate amount of time due to what they say "I'm not the only customer" but yet I'm ALWAYS the only person standing around waiting like 20 minutes sometimes. So this time I said something about being told to put my truck under the canopy to pickup product but I pushed back and said when I see the product I'll get my truck because I didn't want my truck sitting there in the way of others loading. She got really aggressive and said if i didn't have my truck there no product would be brought out, now this is the same person who when I walked up was gossiping to another employee about NOTHING but made me wait until she finished her stupid gossip story, I'm talking MAJOR RUDE. So as I'm dealing with this craziness an assistant manager Jason walks up and proceeds to tell me I'm out of line and blah blah blah, after having about enough of him I said, instead if jawing at me what doesn't he get his $#*! back there and get my product, then he said I cussed at him and proceeded to tell me to get out of his store and he was sending my product back blah blah blah, I stood my ground and demanded my product, which was finally brought out after 20 minutes of BS. My question is who was suppose to be the professional here certainly not the chatty counter person because Jason stepped in and ramped everything up. Moral to the story: these HomeDepot people think they are better than us and makeup dumb rules and regulations up that only exist in there heads! CONTROL FACTOR/EGO!
Great! I like to go and shop in different department of home Depot and buy all the thing I need to our houses for repair. Good excellent product.
I am in the process of building a home in rural Colorado.
On July 12,2021, I placed an in-store order and paid for two standard Clopay 8'x 7' overhead garage doors for outbuildings that were intended to be used for storing furniture during construction.
At that time, I was told that the doors would be delivered "sometime in August." I was never given any updates on the status of my order, and each time I called the dates were pushed back to
September, October 10th, November 2nd, then November 20th. Sometime in late November, the store manager called to say that the door panels were at the Denver Clopay warehouse but that the hardware package had somehow been misplaced. Clopay has put in a rush order for the hardware package associated with my garage doors, and now the latest information from the store manager is that it is expected in on January 10,2022, a full six months after my order was placed.
I am still having to pay to store my furniture commercially as my outbuildings HAVE NO DOORS.

I purchased a washer dryer set from Home Depot. The delivery was scheduled for November 28th. On the 27th I was told the delivery would be between 8 and 11 on the 28th. At noon the product hadn't arrived. I was assured it was on the way. Called back at 2 and kept on the phone for an hour only to be told the truck broke down and the product would be delivered the next day between 8:30 and 11:30. Again it didn't arrive and I was told it would be delivered between 4 and 6. At 6 Home Depot called to reschedule the delivery to DEC 6TH. I went to the store where I bought the product and the associate called to find out was happening. She found that there was no delivery schedule for me on the 6th so it had to be rescheduled for a delivery for December 7th and that I would be compensated for all we had been put through. The product did arrive on the 7th, 8 days and 4 missed delivery windows from the original scheduled delivery. Then to add insult to injury, the compensation for this delivery disaster was $75.05. I will never shop at Home Depot.
Can't go wrong with homedepot products. Ordered and arrived quickly. Prompt with replying back to emails.
The home depot hates the veterans they give them a hard time on a va discounteven if they have thar dd214 thay would rather give a Mexican discount then veteran
I ordered an entire set of kitchen appliances on November 13 2023. Refrigerator, range, microwave, dishwasher, etc.… We are Building a kitchen around the appliances and need them installed. However the promised December 9 install date came and they called and said it would be pushed back until January. 15th! I called and told them that was in acceptable and then they assured me it would be delivered December 30. So, I rescheduled my kitchen build. Again. Two days before that delivery date, I received another message stating it was going to be delayed until January 30th!? I called and went to a local store and was livid. They told me it was the range that was on backorder, and Samsung will not ship anything but the entire order even though everything else is in stock. I told him that was unacceptable, I'm literally wasting hundreds of dollars in labor every time they don't show up. So, again they assured me it would be delivered January 9th. Again, I rescheduled my kitchen install and guess what!? Today I receive an email stating it will be February 13th! I even cancelled the range from the order so they would actually ship it but nope. Still can't meet their commitment. Now They of course promise it will be next Tuesday. I doubt it. In fact; I will pay double for the whole package if they actually make that date, but they won't. They keep passing the buck to Samsung but I didn't buy anything from Samsung, I bought from Home Depot and they are acting totally unaccountable for this debacle. Do not buy from Home Depot. This was a Tremendously frustrating and expensive mistake. I will be demanding a refund and going elsewhere. I can literally swim to South Korea faster than they can ship me a refrigerator!? 3 months of empty promises and wasting my time is enough. I'm done with this dump.

This is a pathetic example of customer service, honoring commitments and general contempt for the consumer of your overpriced goods

I bought a new washing machine 3 weeks ago online. It started leaking water 2 days after it was installed. We waited a week for Home Depot installation people to come look at it and deem it not an installation issue. Then waited another week for a GE specialist to come look at it and diagnose it as MISSING PARTS FROM THE INSIDE OF THE MACHINE! Home Depot never once called us back or reached out to us about how to fix this problem. We have had to contact them every time. Finally got someone to "fix the problem" and say that they were replacing the machine, even gave us a date, on the text message feature of their "customer service". We rearranged our schedule to be home on this day, 3 weeks after purchasing a NEW washing machine and they cancelled after my husband called them (of course because they can't seem to make a phone call or send an email) and said that replacing the machine was not approved. They graciously offered to ORDER PARTS FOR IUR MEW MACHINE THAT WE BOUGHT! Will they give us money back for accepting a machine that needs parts? Doubtful. All I want is a NEW MACHINE that is in proper working condition delivered to my house after this 3 weeks and countless hours trying to communicate with this HORRIBLE COMPANY! Buy your items anywhere but here. Not only that, we paid them to take away our old machine which was still working and they left us with this situation that we have had to endure and do all the footwork about trying to fix it. The total opposite of what any kind of business or service should be.
Tip for consumers:
This is the WORST experience I have ever had buying anything. I can not believe they operate their business in this manner. We have had to make every call, message, email, etc. to try to fix our problem and WE are the ones that bought the item.

None because they sold us a BROKEN product from the manufacturer and refused to replace it after 3 weeks of going back and forth with their LAZY customer service department.
Bought this for some outdoor porch/patio cleaning. It worked so well That I'm trying to find more projects to use it for;-)
After purchase is complete, and customers need help load truck. When it comes to help load a car, employees keeping ignoring customers.
Every time I go back to you guys it's for price but I pay for it with the terrible quality. My ceiling fan I purchased was awful.
We owe at least three fourths of our new and beautiful happy home to Home Depot. It's so exciting to shop there and put your house together!
I got all my tools there/for the right price. After that i could complete!/all my jobs! Feel safe at home depot! Excellent/paint/tools/help!
I enjoy going to home depot always pretty consistently pretty good just like any big business something sometimes go wrong just saying
If you just want the basic product it's ok but if you need ant information or customer service, move on to Lowes!
My LAST ever appliance from Home Depot! I ordered a dishwasher 12/23, with a delivery date of 1/3. This visit the guy comes in & looks at the old dishwasher & goes out to bring new one & says there is something wrong with the new one & they have to reschedule! The next visit same guy comes back & looks under the sink & says it needs a new joint in the pipe, so they have to send a plumber out (why was this not taken care of on the first visit). The plumber came this past Saturday & the joint was replaced, I was told the new delivery date installation is set for January 17th, usually there is a call to confirm the delivery the day before! Last night I went on their site & did a chat to verify delivery, it is scheduled between 7-11 a.m. which means I have to get up at 5:30 a.m. to let the dogs out & take care of morning chores if they do arrive at seven! The chat person gave me a number to call at 6:00 am which I did this morning & was told yes I was scheduled today & I was 4th delivery! Once again I emptied the old dishwasher out took everything out from under the sink & was waiting for the call they were on the way! Oh ya I got a call alright that they had to reschedule AGAIN tomorrow! The appliance was delivered late! So for the 5th time I have to go through this again! Oh yes on the last visit from the guy who was supposed to install it, he said he could leave the new one & have someone else install it--I just want what I paid for complete installation! The plumber they sent said he could have installed it! I wish I would have known he was very competent & polite! I had paid for the appliance, installation and kits to install, for the old one to be removed & extended warranty! I have NEVER had a problem with appliances being installed with other companies! This is ridiculous to have to go through with all this stress since December 23rd, tomorrow is the 5th scheduled appointment! I will be giving a review of that after the visit! VERY VERY disappointed & upset!
