I ordered some lotion and during the checkout process a box popped up with a discount code to use, so I did and it took the 25% off but after I placed the order the 25% was not included. I even tried to check on it before placing the order but could not. I contacted the company IMMEDIATELY by phone only to find out that their mailbox was full. I then sent several emails describing my problem and requested that if they couldn't honor the 25% off that I did NOT want the item and that they should cancel my order. To my surprise I received an email telling me that the item was being prepared for shipment, with no indication whether the discount has been applied. Then I email wanting an answer to my question. HouseofBeautyWorld.com is not an honest company. I placed an order on March 28th. It is now April 9th, and I have yet to receive any indication of tracking/shipping information. On the day I placed my order, I received an email indicating I was a VIP customer and that orders are processed the same day if received before 5 pm, or the next business day if received after 5 pm. This company did not honor their own email. Multiple calls placed to the company resulted in me receiving an announcement that stated that their voicemail is full every time. I received an email on April 7th indicating they need 2-4 more days to send me a tracking number. That clearly indicates they lost my order, or never had the merchandise they advertised. So, basically 13 business days after I placed my order, I might get a tracking number? This is not acceptable. Adequate time has been given for a simple tracking number, however they have not provided this information. They were on time when they deducted the sale amount from my account. I would not recommend this company to anyone, despite their lure of lower prices. It is not worth the aggravation. Do yourself a favor, spend the extra few dollars and go with a reputable company that stands by their word, and has the inventory their customers purchased. I'm not sure what kind of game Houseofbeautyworld.com is playing, if they are going out of business or just plain shady business owners. They will rip you off.
I ordered a wig, whudh i did not recieve so I then asked for a refund. Instead of giving me a refund, when I spoke to customer service, the lady on the phone said "The manager decided to not give you your refund but to ship the wig". I DID NOT ASK FOR THAT@#!$. WORST SERVICE EVER! If I could I would give it a 0 out of 5!
The product arrived separated and unusable. The packaging was in poor condition. They did not answer my emails.

In January 2017 I purchased a wig from House of Beauty. I had previously owned a Bobbi wig in the past That i purchased at a local beauty supply store. So when I saw that very wig on the house of Beauty site I was all in. Only I failed as a consumer to check the reviews of previous customers. Well I did receive a wig. A lemon yellow and gray wig. Which was nothing like the one I selected. So after numerous phone calls and emails I finally reached someone. Who told me that it was my fault that I didn't like the wig and that I was to return the wig and someone would call me to charge me an additional $8.95 on top of the $30+ that they already received. If I wanted to exchange it. So I trusted the customer service woman and returned the wig. And now it's March 13th2017 and after 6 phone calls and 10 emails and after returning the wig. No one from that company will respond to my purchase issue or return the money they now in good faith received. I'm now sure I have been robbed and the money was stolen from me. Awful Customer Service. I mean No customer Service. PLEASE DONT get scammed like I did. YOU'VE BEEN WARNED!
I placed my order with house of beauty on October 15th and the shipping option I chose was 3-7 days. It's almost been a month and they haven't even shipped my product out yet. I wrote a message to them regarding my order on their website and was told that my order would be shipped the following week. It's been 3 weeks and my order hasn't been shipped and no one will answer my message anymore, plus I can't track the order on the website. The only reason I decided to order from house of beauty was because I got all the products I needed from LovelySkin.com, they were just sold out of one of the items I needed and were restocking the following week but I didn't want to wait that long for the product so I tried this website, little did I know I would be waiting a month +. If you're looking for a good, reliable website please check lovelyskin.com FIRST - I literally get all my products within 2 days of ordering them, I should have stuck with this website. I did read a couple negative reviews about house of beauty scamming people this way but I figured i'd give them a shot anyway. BAD IDEA. This website is horrible - use any other website for your products! If I could give them 0 stars I would.
Some items I ordered never arrived. That turned out to be just my tough luck. They would not negotiate a replacement, issue a refund, nothing.
