The website gives you all the information you need which is helpful for me because I do not know much about makeup. The staff has also been kind and helpful. The products feel light and nice on my skin, do not irritate my face, and do not smell strong. Only one product seemed deceptive, but I've been happy with everything else. I plan on slowly building my makeup knowledge and collection through this company. Above all, I really appreciate the consistent e-gift codes I receive. Good makeup is expensive which is overwhelming, so getting a gift card every now and then helps.
I order one product today and was charged for three. I've been trying to correct this problem but I don't have a number to call to cancel. The money is already taken out of my PayPal account. I'm getting responses like they will talk to me soon. Will it's Friday and I'm pissed.
I have tried most of the products. I enjoy most the foundation and their makeup. Great quality products, also good size of product. Customer service is quick to respond and fix any issues I have had. Shipping is usually fast. Pricing is fair especially if you go with subscriptions which can be canceled at any time.The only reason for the 4star and not 5 is because they tried to send me a subscription that I had already cancelled.
I am subscribed to the tanning foam and it is second to none. I usually have one unopened package on hand while I finish the previous purchased product. As I opened a new package, the bottle had leaked, leaving a puddle of liquid in the bag it comes in, saturating the mitt and brush, completely unsalvageable, not to mention a horrifying mess all over my white counters. I reached out to customer service immediately with detailed pictures hoping for a simple replacement for a very loyal customer. I was disappointed to receive a $30 gift card instead. This does not cover the cost of the product. If there were a comparable product on the market, they would have lost my business.
I ordered this for a free trial for 14 days. It said it was $66 and $5.95 shipping. I never got an email confirmation and you have charged my credit card $77!? It's impossible to reach out and find a phone number.
Very misleading company. You go on to order what you want and somehow at checkout get duped into "ADD ONS" that aren't needed. I'm furious with this company and there is way higher quality makeup out there that don't mess with your money. Yes, the makeup is good but not worth the headache. I ordered a $27 lip gloss and looked on my bank statement where there was a separate charge of $50 for a mystery gift! Just watch what you're clicking. I went on to use a coupon and now I'm dealing with a battle to get my money back!
Promo codes are not clearly reflected at checkout, making it impossible to confirm you have entered one at all or were possibly forced into one by one of the 100s of promo links on the site itself. The "review cart" does not clearly lay out the full scope of the order with promos. Customer service is quick to respond but is unable to cancel orders or change promo codes even if the communication is within 5 minutes of placing the order. They did offer a $40 gift card to use on a future purchase to try and rectify this policy, however, it comes with numerous restrictions on products outside of the trial options.
This Formula is a 5 star rating for me but the cap takes the rating down to a two star. It is one of the best foundations I have used. The lid/top has to be changed.it does not screw on and seal and you can't secure the bottle. The kicker is, while sitting on yr vanity it leaks and collects around the cap/lid. Never experienced that with any other brand before but because I truly like the Woke Up Like This foundation I keep using it. I can't take it on any air travel, it will definitely leak & spill no matter how well you tape it down,. If this new one i just placed an order for has the same top then i will have to cancel my subscription/auto replin and discontinue using it. It's too expensive to have this issue.

star rating but the packaging is a negative for me. I really like the Woke Up Like This foundation- works well for me as I have been using it for a long time however, the packaging is alot to be desired. While traveling by air, it will definitely spill due to the cap/lid not
- no matter how well you try to secure it. If just sitting on your vanity it somehow leaks and collects around the lid. I don't understand why. I'm hoping that the new order i just placed has different lid. If not I will have to cancel the auto replin and discontinue using it.
This is the best products that I have ever used. I've been using it for 3 years and started with the free trial for 2 weeks after taking the quiz and fall in love with it. Now I can't stop using it, before It's done I buy new one.
My Discover card was charged immediately for the full purchase price when I ordered. This was despite the ad saying I would only initially be charged with shipping. Not a good introduction to your services!
You want people to spend $49 on a re- order when you only get half the amount of the product in the tube.Do you think that's fair for people ordering this and supporting you with there hard earned money to pay for that?
I have seen such a big improvement in my face! I find when I run out and wait too long to replenish I can really notice how much better I look when I use it. Worth it to subscribe to be replenished and not have to worry about running out. This stuff is gold!

I am a repeat customer who recently just reordered my foundation using an e gift code. When ordering I accidentally selected the wrong shade. I immediately emailed hoping for it be corrected prior to it being shipped out. However, the response I received was very disappointing. Your e-gift code policy prohibits exchanges or refunds. I am extremely disappointed with this policy and will not be returning. I feel this is used as trick on the customer - when they use the e gift codes you relentlessly send out, it releases you of any responsibility to customer service. It's a shameful policy and one that has caused you to loose a loyal customer.
I have been using makeup for almost 20 years and I haven't had very good luck with overall coverage, hiding what I want hidden, skin looking powdery or oily after foundation. IL Makiage I have been using for over a year and not only did it match my skin tone perfectly by just a photo on the computer, but they make it feel like I didn't put any on. I love the freebies, as it has opened me up to buying other products I didn't think I would want.
I think it's awesome that you'll let us try before buying. I hope color and product is good as advertised. Only thing with questions is that trying to describe color of face is difficult without anithers opion but im putting my trust in you and really hope I have good experience. I just wish I could speak with a human about my charges and exactly what products I'm getting. I hope it's the right color shade for me. Let's keep our fingers crossed.
It's abundantly clear that it's Il Makiage's desire to rope people in to their "try it free" ploy, along with recurring auto shipments … no thanks … been there, done that … and was shipped products I neither wanted or needed. The only reason I stumbled around the site to figure out how to order just what I wanted is because the products are good. But it's pretty shameful that you're not happy with selling products to customers as they want to buy only what they need.
I was very disappointed that it I didn't understand the add-on Lip Plumper because it kept on asking questions and the skip option was not highlighted so I chose 20% off option thinking I was going forward with the subscription order. Once I chose this and realized what had happened I could not go back so I got out of PayPal without completing the order. I then started the process over an completed it without knowing that the first order was completed. Now I have 2 orders and an add-on order coming that cannot be canceled. I feel like this extra add-on option is not clear and I would like a refund on the first order without me having to send it back. I tried to rectify it with in five minutes and now I am without an extra $80.00 from my account.
I have used your products before and loved it. I accidentally broke my foundation bottle so I decided to take the quiz and get a new set of make-up. This set I got feels so dry on my face. The shade is wrong and the foundation itself is so dry. I will be returning this. I like the filler but that is it.
It's almost impossible to not get a subscription through you. After our first no I don't want a subscription you ask way too many times afterwards, A customer could make a mistake and select the wrong box it's absolutely inappropriate.

Ilmakiage customer service aims to please. I needed to return an item and customer service helped me resolve my issue in a way that best fit my needs. All communication was made through email and the response was almost immediate.
They have one button for delivery updates and marketing emails so if you want to know where your order is you have to get a barrage of marketing emails. Not a good experience! Other than that the checkout was easy.
I had been oozing at it online and I got an email saying I would try for free for 14 days. If not satisfied, I could return and they would credit my card. I will see if all goes as smoothly if I don't like it
I am pretty confused. I wanted to use my e-gift code (I have several) but when I first placed the order, it came up as a free order. On my second try, I was charged the full price before I could even add the e-gift code.
Quick customer service reply helped me choose the correct shade of lip liner to match a lipstick that I received as a free gift from Il Makiage. I now use quite a few Il Makiage products and love them all - and the auto replenishment is the absolute best, easy to change the ship dates. I also love the free full size mystery gift that comes with the auto shipments, what a great way to try new products. High quality, gorgeous packaging, noticeable results. I'm so happy I took the initial match my skin test for the concealer. (A perfect match, I might add.)
It is so difficult for me to cancel orders. I email then I get charged! I really like the makeup but I think I'm not gonna order anymore. I'm trying to cancel an order that I just found out is shipping tomorrow and today is Sunday. My account will not let me cancel anymore subscriptions so I know this company set my acct like that and it's wrong on so many levels.
