Il Makiage

I've been ordering from Il Makiage for years and, for certain products, I'll stay faithful. Prices seem high, however each product lasts so long! I don't wear a full face of makeup often, but when I do it never fails to impress. Recommendations: concealer, primer, foundation, liquid eyeliner, and the lash serum(OMG)

I received my foundation. Tried it on and it was so orangey! I don't understand how off the color could've been especially when I sent a picture of myself. I was so disappointed and sad that I wasn't able to use it.

Too many ads after order placed--at least 4-5 ads asking me to buy! It is bothersome and enough to rethink ordering again--would suggest this be stopped. I usually know what I want when placing an order. And can't complete order until a response made. I love the foundation but think could buy without this hassle 😩

I recently ordered a new jar of Power Redo and the top of the jar would not stay closed. Within minutes Avery with Il Makiage emailed me a gift card to use to buy a whole brand new jar! Now that's customer service. Thank you Avery!

I gotta say that I do love the products that Il Makiage has to offer. Their website is easy to navigate and easy to shop.
I learned of Il Makiage through an online survey. I received $100,to use on their site, for completion of the survey.
After trying their products, I'm hooked.

I love the makeup! I will say that I have tried to contact the company in the past. It is very sad that there isn't a phone number you can call for customer assistance. I called the number that was listed on my credit card bill that was by the charge. This wasn't a valid number. I went online to find a number. I got a message to put a credit card into the system that it would be charged $1.00. Before I could talk to a representative. I'm sorry that is so inappropriate! I didn't do that. It sounded like a scam to me!

I have always had a difficult time matching my foundation color to my face tone. I was hesitant to try Il Makiage foundation but because of the "try before you buy" option, I figured that I had nothing to lose.
I followed the questionaire and picked the skin tone photos that were closest to my own. My package arrived fairly quickly and I wasn't expecting much due to past failures in choosing foundations.

Holy Smokes! Il Makiage was a perfect match right out of the box!
Now I just need to learn and experiment with how to conceal my hyperpigmentation.

I live in Canada and placed my order and my product was delivered in 3 days and was surprised how quickly it came.excellent service, however, when it said my item was shipped I wasn't given a tracking number but all good I got it..

I was slightly confused and unsure what to order.
My quiz was not what I was looking for.
So I just took a leap and am trying something more of what
I'm looking for.
Descriptions just had me more confused than anything

I just placed an order for the first time and was offered a subscription which I chose. For the subscription I was offered a 20% discount however, when I checked out, it only gave me a 10% discount. Then I was offered an additional 30% off if I went ahead and paid for an upgrade for a year. Because I didn't receive the first discount offered, I'm would love a 30% discount but concerned it won't be applied.

Great site, I do wish it remembered your settings from the quiz if you are trying a new product. And allows you to adjust the answers if you think you chose wrong. I love the products, high quality and I was amazed at my concealer match. My foundation was wrong and I think it's because I answered like a warm tone but I'm more cool? But I've switched to a cream foundation for now. I still enjoy the other products.

The lie detector test was passed! The advertisements are accurate! I choose not to live without the Power Recharge, Power Rewind nor the Woke Up Like This Foundation. My skin went from the Sahara Desert to a Hydrated Oasis in weeks and I have to thank and send a special shout out to the scientist that understand skin structure!

My experience to date has been amazing. From the products working better than I expected to the customer service and quick delivery, all surpass my expectations.
I'm a lady in her mid to late fifties and I'm loving the way the products look and feel on my maturing skin. I'll never buy store brands again.
So thank you Il Makiage for letting me love makeup again!

I was having a problem finding the right match for foundation. Having Olive skin I couldn't find the tight match. I reached out to Il.Makiage customer services for help. I cannot begin to tell you how thorough they were working with me to find the right foundation. In all my years of purchasing make up, I have never had such personalized help. This is the best make up with the greatest staff. I wouldn't buy make up anywhere but here.

The questions & options seemed to help SO much in getting the correct match! I look forward to receiving my 1st product. I don't understand the final total at all! It stated I would only pay for shipping during the trial. $56.00 for shipping?! Please check my order. After all the ads about this... I'm more than concerned now; no matter how good it is🤷🏼‍. Help?

My cousin told me about this product and when she was using i asked her what she put on her face so from her recommendation i order this product and today I ordered and they send me the notification that your order is shipped. I am anxiously waiting

Either managing my subscriptions isn't clear to me that I can change them at anytime or it's just not user friendly. I started out getting the liquid makeup. I don't recall ever setting up to do annual, but I don't see how to cancel from getting it. I thought I cancelled it 2+ months ago.

I never received product, they sent a replacement, but the wrong item was sent. I repurchased a second time and still didn't receive my order. They refunded my money. I will try to purchase one last time to see if I get it. I really like their mascara and hope this time I will receive it.

09/01/24: I gave the review 4 stars only because the website was confusing on the yearly subscription. I didn't and still don't want it- it wasn't until the end I found out it was 94.00. I'm excited to receive the foundation but hopefully the subscription is cancelled.that step was also confusing. I just wanted to try the foundation.

I sent a text message asking if I could get a better deal ordering two items together, and immediately Il Makiage gave me a 10% discount without having to sign up for automatic re-orders — since I don't use the products fast enough to require 4-month refills.

Great service and easy returns. My sister uses the foundation and primer and her skin looks incredible. I tried the foundation without the primer and found it felt like I was wearing too much makeup. Probably because I haven't worn foundation in years. Giving the primer a try to see how it works with my regular makeup with no worries about the quality.
