I was having a lot of issues with Indeed originally, I couldn't get them to respond after taking down a very critical hiring ad we had up. It seems like an algorithm just flagged our account and took it down. But after talking with the Indeed support team on here, they got my ads back up (just in time) and even gave me a free sponsor on our most important one. Thank you Indeed support team, I really appreciate you taking the time to work with me - I knew when humans looked at it, they would know we were legit. Thank you again everyone at Indeed Support!
Ive been trying to post a add to hire employees but Indeeds awful trust and safety team continue to refuse me and pause account even adding three forms of utility bills etc...just awful. AND there is NO customer service or accountability or followup or supervisors to speak with They have lost my confidence and business and I will never promote them. I prefer a lesser competitor as opposed to indeed. Worst experience I have ever had online
On indeed I found fake jabs and fake pictures. I would nor recommend looking for a job on indeed. Its a scam

Hi Dustin, thank you for taking the time to share this feedback with us! If you ever have any questions or need assistance with your search, feel free to contact us at sitejabber@indeed.com referencing this review.
This is simply ridiculous response or rather excuse that our account currently is not accruing any costs to indeed, then whats the point in providing the relevant documents asked by your team and the ad posted was approved after reviewing from your team which went live then why are we are still getting this message " Your ability to post jobs on Indeed has been disabled".
Then why Indeed is keeping the "FREE JOB POST" option when you people want every customer to pay for posting advertisement in indeed. You people seems to be rather confused or making people confused as to what kind or type of job details or posting can be approved. Not a simply ads getting approved and just a robotic response we are getting that " Your account currently is not accruing costs, and this is a final decision".
Its a piece of advise on behalf of all the people/companies who are facing this kind of similar issue, Please if you people have little bit of shame let Remove the "FREE JOB POST" option from your website.
Nothing more is left we would never recommend Indeed to any rival companies nor friends to use indeed services and would post on other blogs about our bad experience with the services Indeed is providing the customers globally.
If you people think that the issue can be fixed or rectified then don't hesitate in calling back. Sorry for the bad experience.
Why don't indeed go off the market rather creating so much confusion or havoc in the market. People are not liking it at all they are getting more frustrated with you guys. Don't you guys go and check the reviews and complaints logged by the customer's or unsatisfied clients in the complaint forum or BBB or any other complaint sites/forum.

Hello Aarushi,
Thank you for contacting us. At this time, we can see you have worked to appeal this decision. Ultimately, Indeed has decided not to show your jobs as there is a job seeker fee required (which is not allowed on Indeed) as well as complaints from Job Seekers. For your reference, please see Indeed’s terms of service(https://www.indeed.co.uk/legal?hl=en&redirect=true#tos) and our Job Posting Best Practices.
No further action is required on your part. No additional details regarding this decision have been provided. I apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused.
Great way to find a job. No matter what you are looking for, you will find it. There are different jobs foranyplace in the US.

So, like most people, Indeed has proven to be an absolute horrible, greedy company. I have used them for YEARS. I post for several jobs that include customer service reps, sales, call center reps, admins, and retail reps. We are a marketing company so are usually hiring consistently. I followed every single rule and guideline they have. I make sure to be specific in all my postings and create new ads for each position we need filled. I had ONE ad be suspended and when I called in to inquire about it the rep on the phone treated me like I was the worst human ever and was doing all sorts of illegal work. He laughed under his breath as I told him about my company and I had a feeling this was going to conflict with my other ads. Sure enough, about a day later I get notified that my whole account has been suspended. Like most people, I called in to find out what happened and they gave me the run around and told me that they couldn't tell me why even though I told them that I read all their guidelines to make sure we weren't breaking any rules. They stated that they never reviewed my account before even though I have called about issues with ads before and had them reviewed with no problem.
Let's see here, why would they all of a sudden suspend my account? OH, I know! It's because for the last several years I have given them money and "sponsored" my ads. The last 6 months, business has been slow and we have had to cut down on expenses during the slow season. Is it a coincidence that once I STOPPED paying Indeed, they decided to "review" and disable my account? I'm not an idiot, I know when a company values dollars over its customers. My business is based off bringing in quality representatives and indeed has not only hurt my business, but mocked me along the way. Horrible company.

Hi Erik, we're sorry to hear about your poor experience. We have responded to your review by private message. Please follow up there with any additional questions you may have.
My buisness is a very good business we care for the senior community and adults with special needs there home. I JUST opened an account to hire for my Homecare business which is a lubricate company especially with the pandemic and many or losing employment. The indeed rep called from *******225 around 7:44 pm to 8:00 pm to verify my account to assure that I was real and not a fraud which was fine by me. He TOLD ME that everything looks good and the posting for individuals to apply would be live in one hour. I went to check my email and my indeed account, my account was disabled! REALLY? HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE! I have clients that need caregivers and I need to provide them that. My business is purely legit because of where I live our state will not tolerate any type of fraud especially when people need care. This was EXTREMELY unprofessionally especially after I answered all the question correctly and knew how to explain my business. People are in DESPARATE need of caregivers and it is my duty to provide for them, THIS MY HOMECARE BUISNESS. I came to Indeed because my company needed help getting qualified caregivers that were reliable. I gave you all my business account number so that payment when come from my business account and I CANNOT even look at billing account information. So if you all are going to do this how do I know you all not going to swipe MONEY OUT MY ACCOUNT?! THIS FRAUD and we need to write our state leaders and President about these issues with our accounts! SHAME ON YOU INDEED! SHAMMMMMEEEE ON YOU!

I created an employer account and posted a job. The next day my employer account was disabled so I inquired about it. In response I received this email:

In order to verify your account, please reply to this email with a scan, image or electronic copy of one of the following items:
*Utility bill that includes your business's name and address. This includes water/sewer bill, trash/recycling bill, energy/electricity bill, gas bill, phone bill, or internet bill.
*Business license that includes your company's name and verifiable company address or a related/parent company where the relationship is verifiable.
*Tax permit that includes your company's name and verifiable company address or a related/parent company where the relationship is verifiable.

Once we receive a reply to this email with the document, the review of your account will resume.
Thank you,

I provided an LLC document and was told they don't accept that as proof and that a local business license would suffice. I uploaded a business license and received this message:
It appears that your request may require specialized attention and our Client Success team can better assist you. Please view our Help Center for further assistance with this issue.

The help center is no help at all in re-enabling my account and I've told them this. They've stopped responding to my emails and it makes me think the worst. I've done everything you've asked Indeed. Why aren't you re-enabling my account? Why can't you give me straight forward answers to help me solve this? Why aren't you responding to my emails?

Really creepy. I used Indeed as a job search tool but maybe a year or two ago - around when the Japanese company took over - it started getting really creepy with these easy apply buttons. I would see a job then check with the company and the company would say they aren't hiring for that job. Some of the companies I couldn't even find or they seemed like scammy type businesses that might have been shells. So where is my data going? Then more and more blind listings would appear. I don't even trust they are real jobs. But if you actually try to respond - THEN you get these really troubling questions like where do you live - do you live in so and so city? And how much do you earn? I then cancel. If it is a real job I am losing out and the employer is missing out on a perfect candidate because of this creep factor. I have also gotten questions with my daily email of jobs based on my resume asking me how much I earned at each job listed. I spent hours trying to find someone at indeed to take down my resume which I never permitted them to keep anyway only to be told they can't find any record of it. I feel like this is still a decent search engine but you have to check out each job first and never use the easy apply for a blind listing or any job where indeed is hiding the actual email or contact information they are supposed to be forwarding the resume to and never answer those additional questions. It is like they are fishing to do a profile on you. Very creepy. And that probably explains why some companies are getting lousy candidates - nobody smart will be applying this way. You have to guard your privacy. The only reason I am giving 2-3 stars is because it still puts together a decent list of jobs but you have to click each one and do your own research because you can't trust it being legit.

Hello, sorry for the negative experience. Some employers on Indeed ask application questions related to location to make sure they are getting candidates in their area. When adding your resume to Indeed, we provide the option to leave a company review on past companies you have worked for, as well as salary information to help other job seekers looking at these companies get a sense of what the salary would be. This information is not required in order to upload a resume on Indeed. If there is anything we can do to help, please feel free to email us at sitejabber@indeed.com. Thank you.
The people applying for job are not even qualified for job adverised. Why apply. The requirements is clearly stated.
