I was having a lot of issues with Indeed originally, I couldn't get them to respond after taking down a very critical hiring ad we had up. It seems like an algorithm just flagged our account and took it down. But after talking with the Indeed support team on here, they got my ads back up (just in time) and even gave me a free sponsor on our most important one. Thank you Indeed support team, I really appreciate you taking the time to work with me - I knew when humans looked at it, they would know we were legit. Thank you again everyone at Indeed Support!
Ive been trying to post a add to hire employees but Indeeds awful trust and safety team continue to refuse me and pause account even adding three forms of utility bills etc...just awful. AND there is NO customer service or accountability or followup or supervisors to speak with They have lost my confidence and business and I will never promote them. I prefer a lesser competitor as opposed to indeed. Worst experience I have ever had online
They post jobs that do not exist. Called companies that indeed said were hiring and the job openings did not exist. They have jobs on there that already have been filled and most jobs you can't even apply for. Very disappointed with indeed.
I don't feel that indeed truly connects employers and employees. I don't know how anyone uses this website with success. The tests are ridiculous. The employers are charged an insane amount of money. The whole thing is ridiculous. And now it seems to be monopolizing the job-seeking market.
Hi Mags, a member of our team has reached out to you by private message to try and help here, please follow up with us in there so we can assist you.
Wasn't happy when Indeed took our company information and listed jobs that weren't current. Wasted a lot of time responding to applicants explaining the situation so that it didn't reflect on our company reputation. But after getting in touch with Indeed, they are taking the listings down and have put a stop on scanning our website or posting any of our adverts in the future.
Hi Nicola, we're sorry to hear of this experience. It is likely that we are indexing these jobs from your company website, we do not charge to remove jobs from Indeed. We have responded to you via private message, please follow up with us in there so we can assist you with removing these jobs from our search results.
Received loads of candidates for multiple hard to find roles.
Site has easy tools for communicating with candidates and keeping track of them. Also offers up options to go looking for passive candidates.
Dear
The Indeed.com account, *******@energysolutionss.com was disabled for some reason. We have tried to appeal, resolve and provide more information that the Quality Team need to reenable the account. We asked them If they need clarification, or further information such as government documents to verify the business or there are any account issues need to be resolved to please let us know. However, it meant nothing to them and we did no receive any response. They did not even review the appeal. Everyday many employers are complaining about the lowest quality of service and the same problem. This is the worst service of a company we have received. It is surprising that big name brands companies never run into issues on Indeed. There are undeniable proofs of discriminating against business based on name popularity and market size. It is an unfair service punishable by law. It is disappointing, lawsuits will be filed against Indeed.com and they will be reported to government agencies...
Hi there, thank you for taking the time to leave Indeed a review. All accounts on Indeed go through a standard reviewing process. This review can happen at any time as well. Unfortunately, Indeed has fully reviewed your account and we are unable to show your listings on the site and the account will remain in its disabled status. Indeed or Publishers may reject or remove any Job Ad, and Indeed may disable any Employer’s account, for any or no reason without notice. Although Indeed may indicate why a job or account has been removed or disabled, we cannot give every reason why a job or a company may be removed, and we always retain the right to remove any job, organic or sponsored, if we feel it is in our interest or our users’ interest. This is a final decision that will not be reversed. If you have urgent hiring needs, we recommend utilizing other hiring services. We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused.
Indeed is a scam beware. We have been trying to post jobs for summer in order to help us run our programs. Indeed keeps disabling our accounts without giving us a proper reason. Every time they disable us and we are running out of time. We are a legitimate business in Victoria and this has been super frustrating. Don't bother with Indeed. Every time we appeal we get a generic bot answer. A joke of a company.
Hi Leo, all accounts and jobs on Indeed go through a standard reviewing process before they can become fully active on our site. At this time we have sent you a private message with additional details on next steps.
I'm happy that it has changed to make it easier to look for remote jobs. It used to be that the word remote would match with jobs that say things like "no remote" which is the opposite of what some people are looking for. I like the application process as well.
Thank you very much for your feedback! We're so happy to hear that you've found the improvements helpful.
This site makes job searching so easy. I also love that you can upload your resume to your account and apply to certain positions with just a click of a button. I wish all job posts could be applied to this easily.
I had a special task which was given by my employer. I had to find companies and their heads in order to ley my company to offer our services. I started to search for various recruiting platforms in orde to understand which companies suit the most in my case. I picked indeed as the main platform for searching for companies and their heads. I found plenty of companies and their heads and finally I provided my employer with this information. I was promoted for fulfilling such a great job. We found new customers and our sales has grown. Thanks to indeed for such an opportunity.
Hi Marinrad, thank you for your kind words and for taking the time to share this wonderful feedback with us! We wish you the best of luck in your recruiting process.
They make you jump through hoops to get your account active, and then can just disable it with no reason as to why. I have spent THOUSANDS of dollars with them, and they wont tell me anything. I have used the same ad. I get the same people applying over and over, so I reject them so I dont have to pay for them. Indeed is a joke
I wrote a very professional review for my company. Free of any profanity, I simply wrote a positive review for the company I work for. They are ruining the reputation of the company I work for by only posting negative reviews about disgruntled sales staff. I wrote the review five days ago, they never published it, never gave me a reason as to why they didn't publish it. There should be a class action lawsuit against Indeed for completely destroying the reputation of companies by only posting negative feedback to a company. That is my experience with Indeed.com
Hi Joe, reviews on Company Pages can take several days before being published for moderation purposes. If your review does not meet our guidelines it may not be published. If your review does not appear after several days, we advise you to look at our guidelines and revise your review and repost it: https://www.indeed.com/cmp/_r/content-guidelines.
I had two account on Indeed. I posted a job on Indeed and they suspended my account by giving reason no guidelines followed. I haven't breached any guidelines and still my both employers account are disabled.
I asked them for reason but they didn't said anything.
Hello Rajneesh, thank you for reaching out. A member of our team has responded to your review by private message. Please follow up with us there if you have any additional questions or concerns.
I signed up and submitted my resume and got a call back from the company I applied to the next day to set up an interview. I dont know how the site is supposedly a scam when I got hired to AmericInn through it.
Thank you for your feedback, Holly!
If you asked me 3 years ago how I felt about Indeed, I'd say I loved it. It got me a job. But for the past 3 months I have been applying for jobs I'm completely qualified for on Indeed and haven't gotten a single interview, email, legit phone call, or even acknowledgement that I applied for a job. What I have gotten is, on average, 10 spam calls and 5 spam texts a day. Some of the calls leave bogus voicemails about how they know I'm looking for a job. And the texts always want me to download some scammy file onto my phone. It's out of control and has left me to wonder if Indeed even gives my application to the company supposedly hiring, perhaps they just sell my info. I will never use Indeed again. And I warn you, don't sign up for an account, don't even use the site as a guest without an account (that's what I've been doing), and more importantly, don't expect to actually get a job using Indeed. It's a joke.
Hello Bethany, thank you for reaching out. A member of our team has responded to your review by private message. Please follow up with us there if you have any additional questions or concerns.
As a recruiter, I have been using Indeed.com to post open positions. They have now flagged my account as fraudulent so I can longer post using their free services. If I want to post, I still can (even though I am apparently fraudulent) as long as I pay. If I am a fraudulent account, I should not be allowed on their site. Instead, they just want more money.
We posted job ads on indeed for Realestate acquisitions department and then our account got disabled. We had over 100 interviews scehduled for our company and next thing you know our account got disabled. And then afterwards they charged us even after our account was disabled? Thats not right
Hi Maubricio, to explain, it is normal that all accounts will be reviewed as we must verify the connection between the account creator and the company they are hiring for. We must also ensure that our quality guidelines are met. If enough information is not provided when the account is being created or we find a violation of our guidelines, then the account will go into the appeal status that you're now experiencing. You can submit an appeal form through your account. Please note that the review process typically takes 1 to 3 business days and our team will contact you when they have an update, or if they need additional information. Thank you.
I liked the idea of getting resumes through Indeed. It is expensive, but I did get some qualified candidates. For the non qualified candidates, the Indeed format is easy to send a gentle rejection letter.
Thank you for sharing your experience with us! Please let us know if there's anything we can do to help in the future.
I have a small business and Indeed disables my account many times with no explanation, this is not acceptable and destroying my business. I appealed and they answered your post is not suitable!
Is there is any way to fix this, I have no clue what is the reason.
Hi Manal. It appears your account is going through our standard review process. We have reached out for more information via private message. Please feel free to follow up with us there, thank you.
Hi we have 2 ads going with alot of responses it seems almost 100 people. Out of 100 there has been less than 10 applicants who called us back after trying to make appointments. We just dont get why these people are applying but wont return our calls-dosent make sense. Anyway we know people see the ad but the people applying some are from out of state and others strange to be applying for these types of jobs. We are a little concerned being charged for these applicants but those people dont call back to make appointments. Thanks Joe
Hi Joe, sorry for the negative experience. We are happy to help you make adjustments to your ad to receive more qualified and local candidates. You can reach us at 1-800-462-5842 for help or email me directly at sitejabber@indeed.com. Thank you.
I am a small business owner and keep getting rejected on trying to get an account. It asks for one thing and I send it and now it says something else I need to send. There isn't a way to talk to someone.
Hi Michelle, we have sent you a private message offering further assistance, please follow up with us in there so we can have a closer look at this.
I'm not sure if it is how we wrote the ad, but we are getting a lot of responses that have no qualities that we are looking for. Although we are getting a ton of responses I feel that 95% are wrong for us and all it is doing is wasting time. I haven't given up yet though.
Hi there, we're sorry that you're receiving a lot of unqualified applicants. We'd love to take a look at your positions and offer suggestions to improve the candidate quality. Please email us directly at sitejabber@indeed.com. Thank you.
My resume information is "site" specific and "position" specific, which means that each place that I apply has a different tapered resume relevant to the job I am seeking. Indeed.Com received a Resume from me & that resume is now on Radaris.com for the entire world to see. This is an absolute violation of my privacy rights. It even has my name on it & I never made my resume public on the Radaris or Indeed sites. I have put in multiple requests from both sites to remove this information. I sent documents to prove my situation, including police reports that I and my children are victims of stalking from my exhusband.
**UPDATE** Indeed has contacted me and my account has been reinstated. They got back to me in a timely fashion and then even called me to follow up that everything was working properly. I have to say it was a great experience once I got to speak with them.
Hi Lynn, we apologize for the poor experience. We have responded to your review by private message, please follow up there with any additional questions you may have.
I chose their service to hire people.
But I must say worst company and they are looting people in their website. Their whole algorithms set to loot people but not provide proper service.
Worst never choose. Their whole website is a spam panel to loot money
Tip for consumers:
never ever choose their service
Products used:
hiring people

My account has been disabled and I have no idea why. They emailed me and told me to send proper documentation which i did but still no outcome. I even called and they said i have proper documentation but still my account is disabled. Horrible
