I was having a lot of issues with Indeed originally, I couldn't get them to respond after taking down a very critical hiring ad we had up. It seems like an algorithm just flagged our account and took it down. But after talking with the Indeed support team on here, they got my ads back up (just in time) and even gave me a free sponsor on our most important one. Thank you Indeed support team, I really appreciate you taking the time to work with me - I knew when humans looked at it, they would know we were legit. Thank you again everyone at Indeed Support!
Ive been trying to post a add to hire employees but Indeeds awful trust and safety team continue to refuse me and pause account even adding three forms of utility bills etc...just awful. AND there is NO customer service or accountability or followup or supervisors to speak with They have lost my confidence and business and I will never promote them. I prefer a lesser competitor as opposed to indeed. Worst experience I have ever had online
This website is a great website to use for when you're in need of a job. They have businesses that are hiring on the website and give you a quick way to apply to them.
I received this email in my inbox (not my spam folder) from someone named Jason Whitman at employers-no *******@indeed.com:
"Subject line: please review your Indeed account contact information.
Dear Client:
Our team is here to help you hire and we want to be able to reach you by phone when necessary. A recent ruling by the FCC requires us to re-verify your phone information and re-confirm your consent to be called if the number you previously provided is a cell phone number. We will not be able to reach you at that number until you complete the following steps:
Please log in to your employer account.
Review the contact information you previously provided.
Review the statement of consent and if youre okay with being contacted by Indeed at the phone number listed on your account, select Yes when prompted to do so.
Please contact us with any questions or concerns.
Thank you,

I have no idea who this is or why they contacted me, so I can only assume it's Spam and should've shown up in the spam folder.
Clicked on the unsubscribe button. Opted out of the email. Also left a note in the notes field never to contact me again, and that if they did, Federal authorities will be contacted.
Also reported the email as spam through my provider.
I do not now, nor have I ever had, any account with Indeed. I have never contacted this organization and have no idea how they got my email address. This email from them is unsolicited and I regard it as a scam.
I am very dissapointed in Indeed right now. I've been a customer for years and referred others to them. I was literally in the middle of sourcing and interviewing candidates and just got a generic email saying my account was disabled.
Not only that, I responded to the appeal and I received another generic automated email saying that it was denied and ther is nothing else I can do?!
Then, I email my Acct Rep and I get a bounce back email delivery!
I was hoping that this was a terrible mistake but after reading all of the reviews there seems to be something new happening that is significantly messing up their loyalty and branding.
To think... I just recommended 11 other HR pros to them last week.
I am hoping that I at least get access to those we were in contact with so they don't think we are flaky. Completely disappointed that they would cancel someone's account without proper appeal and speaking with the customer.
When I go a few months without using the service, I get multiple calls then. But no call now? No personalization? No customer service?
I've tried several job boards and this was the most expensive, and we spent the most money on it that got 3 unqualified applicants across 10 job postings.
Hi Jedakiah, we apologize for the poor experience while using Indeed. We have responded to your review by private message, please follow up there with any additional questions you may have.
I posted my resume online with indeed, the day I did, I started receiving phone calls from spammers from all around the US. I truly believe they are either selling your information to a third party.Or, spammers have access to your resume. Never once received a phone call from an employer. All the calls were a computer automated system. Who in the world falls for these spammers? If no one fell for them, they wouldn't be harassing people. I tried to delete my account and indeed has rigged there site to where it is impossible to actually delete your account, without contacting customer service via email. I honestly don't see how these companies keep doing this and not get sued. I have tried to use this site at different intervals and everytime I do, I get harassed by spammers. They always call when i'm in the middle of something. Personally, I believe we all need to get together and sue indeed for invasion of privacy. They say the employer cannot see your address or phone number when you post your resume on there site. I've contacted employers directly that were on indeed.com. They all said they did not have an ad on indeed. Com and they don't know why they have it posted on the site!
Hello John, sorry for your negative experience with Indeed. As you have already mentioned, Indeed does not share the contact information listed on your Indeed resume unless it is incorrectly placed under one of the public resume sections by the job seeker (example: if a phone number or email address is listed under the experience field). Indeed does not sell your contact information to any third party. You also have the ability to delete your resume on Indeed at any time.
Horrible. Beware once you have added your credit card to their files they will keep charging you after you have cancelled they continuously charge you. Not a good site at all.
Hi Sonia, we're sorry for the poor experience. We have responded to your review via private message to further assist. Please follow up with us there.
It was very easy to set up account and choose the amount you want to spend daily; and super easy to post jobs and close jobs. We will be posting any future jobs openings that we have on Indeed.com.
Thanks for your review and support Deborah!
This website is FRAUD and they SCAM you. You call to set up an ad for your office and they let you know all about there 'deals and credits' but they do not tell you to NOT be charged YOU have to close the account yourself. We were told we were getting a free week trial since we were a new user so that would be a $50 credit. We were not told that after this week the ad would keep running and we would be charged $10/day. This is highly disappointing. We called the discuss this with the company and of course they were beyond unhelpful and would not credit our company back anything. We will be sure to send out letter to all of our Virginia and DC referrals to NEVER use this site and to always just use the FREE and SAFE and non SCAM Craigslist.
The site works great, however I received to many applications that simply did not meet the minimum qualifications that I had established. It became difficult to quickly screen the resumes.
This was our first time to use Indeed and we were pleasantly surprised with the amount of responses we received to our job posting. If needed, we will definitely use Indeed again in the future.
We're happy to hear you had a positive experience, Kim. Please let us know if we can help in the future.
I purchased the Resume Review service in June. I attached the original resume and wanted to enhance it to attract the systems recruiters use. The representative rewrote the resume and removed so many important highlights of my experiences. I asked for it to be edited and gave some feedback as to how I want it to be done and had to write portion of the resume. She still didn't complete it to my satisfactory. After posting the resume Indeed wrote, I got no feedback from employers that I applied for. A matter of fact, less reviews than my original resume. I contacted support to assist in either redoing my resume or refunding my money. The representative rewrote my resume again without speaking to me or asking what is lacking. When the resume was sent over, I replied with experiences I need to highlight in the resume and the response I received was " sorry, you exceed your 3 revision and will have to do it yourself. Have a great day!"
Not only do I find this unprofessional, but at $155.00, I expect professional service. It's disappointing that a company of this level does not care about honoring their own mission statement.

I HAVE OVER 100,000 FOLLOWERS ON MY SOCIAL MEDIA AND I RECOMMENDED INDEED TO ALL OF THEM AS FOR THE FIRST WEEK OR SO THEY WERE AMAZING BUT NOW, AFTER A WEEK LATER THEY DISABLED MY ACCOUNT FOR NO REASON, WHEN I CALLED TO ASK THEM WHATS GOING ON AS YOU HAVE CHARGED ME AND NOT GAVE ME A VALID REASON TO WHY THEY HAVE DISABLED MY ADS THEY COMPLETELY IGNORED ME AND SAID THEY CANT REVEAL ANYTHING! ONLY TILL I GOOGLED THIS AND REALISED INDEED HAVE BEEN SCAMMING ALOT OF PEOPLE BY TAKING THEIR MONEY AND DISABLED THEIR ACCOUNTS! I WILL BE REACHING OUT TO MY FOLLOWERS AND LETTING EVERYONE KNOW TO LEAVE BAD REVIEWS WITH INDEED ON ALL PLATFORMS! THEY HAVE REALLY UPSET A LOYAL PAYING CUSTOMER LIKE ME AND I SERIOUSLY HATE THEM RIGHT NOW!

I registered in this website placed my cv and started to get jobs that matches my profile from the first day and that gives me the chance to found the right job for me
Hi there, thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us! We're so happy you are having a great experience on Indeed!
I was first contacted by one of their rep's last month telling me that I could get moved up in the rankings if I wrote a new ad (which is not really writing a new ad just starting a new ad with the old information), so I did with the my new recruiting effort. Then I noticed NO one was responding! So I logged in and there was a banner that said I had to verify who I was with my email. Never got as link. When I contacted the rep she told me to verify it through Facebook or Linkedin so I checked both of those off as well. The Indeed site says my page(Facebook and Linkedin) was connected. Still no access to posting jobs. I contact the rep again and now she tells me that I have to prove that I am a business with a utility bill. No where on the site does it allow me to upload a utility invoice, and now my rep will not respond. I have been trying to get this resolved for 2 weeks and getting absolutely zero assistance from Indeed. Does anyone have something better than Monster because I am done with this company.
Hi Richard, we're sorry to hear this and we're happy to help. We have responded to your review by private message. Please follow up there if you have any additional questions.
Thank you Indeed for forwarding my C V & Cover Letter to an Employeer, I went for the Interview got the job started the next day after putting in thousands of applications in for the same type of job but to different employers always went for the Interview but never heard back or I was not a good fit. Job application
Hello Jason, thank you for sharing your thoughts. Indeed is not directly involved in the hiring process, and unfortunately, each company is different in terms of who receives and reviews resumes once they are submitted. We send notification of an application being submitted to inform job seekers that we have completed this step. After this step, it is the employer's responsibility to review applications and communicate with job seekers as we are not involved in this part of the process.
It took a month of grinding, but I finally got a call back after multiple job interviews. It's an EXTREMELY useful tool for getting your resumè out there. 5 stars all the way
Hi Jordan, thank you for your positive feedback! If you ever need assistance in the future please don't hesitate to reach back out!
Indeed is the job finding site, I found indeed to be easy to navigate around and all the job updates once your notifications are set up, And it is very helpful...
Thank you for sharing this feedback with us, Carolyn! We are glad to hear about your experience with Indeed.
I posted for a phone app developer with indeed. I received names but never a way to contact them. I did receive a charge on my visa. Indeed SUCKS! Nothing but a scam
Hi Abel, we are sorry to hear about your poor experience with Indeed. We have sent you a private message to further assist.
Indeed generated a significant number of candidates. Most of them ranged from qualified to well qualified. We filled one of two positions with candidates found through Indeed
Hi Tom, thanks for the feedback! Please let us know if there's ever anything we can do to help.
I liked the managing tool. The cost is also reasonable. The reason why I did not rate 5 is that the number of "good" resumes did not seem to increase even after I "sponsored".
The review I posted was factual and negative. Indeed.com removed it clearly since the employer was a paying customer. Clearly Indeed.com cannot be trusted.
Tip for consumers:
Don't trust their reviews. Negative reviews of employers are not posted.
Hi Kenneth, thank you for taking the time to leave Indeed a review. Reviews are subject to a moderation process, so your review may not post immediately when it is entered.
