I was having a lot of issues with Indeed originally, I couldn't get them to respond after taking down a very critical hiring ad we had up. It seems like an algorithm just flagged our account and took it down. But after talking with the Indeed support team on here, they got my ads back up (just in time) and even gave me a free sponsor on our most important one. Thank you Indeed support team, I really appreciate you taking the time to work with me - I knew when humans looked at it, they would know we were legit. Thank you again everyone at Indeed Support!
Ive been trying to post a add to hire employees but Indeeds awful trust and safety team continue to refuse me and pause account even adding three forms of utility bills etc...just awful. AND there is NO customer service or accountability or followup or supervisors to speak with They have lost my confidence and business and I will never promote them. I prefer a lesser competitor as opposed to indeed. Worst experience I have ever had online
I received lots of resume's from Indeed but 95% of them were not related to what I am looking for. I paid lots of money for people who just want to send their resume for kicks. I this you should have a better filter before you start charging for viewing.
I had thought that the engine would restrict applications to just the New York area - this is perhaps my fault.
I struggled initially to get on the system - it took 4 or 5 days to approve my post - although I understand why.

My Indeed account has been disabled and i have just received an email saying- your account has been disabled by the Indeed Finance team and we will get back to you within 48 hrs. Its been more than 10 days, i havent received any response.

I am a recruiter of a reputed company I made account on indeed and they disabled my account for no reason. After that again I use another mail for posting jobs and after 1 month they did the same thing. So much wastage of time.

Indeed disabled my account for no reason. I have 4 professional licenses, lived and worked in the same city and state for over 30 years. I have attended college and have a doctorate from the same city and am hiring licensed candidates in the same city and state as my home town. I followed what the rep told me to do. I cannot comprehend what the standards are for job posting a job on indeed.
I am a contractor searching for competent building maintenance fields. Indeed stole $500.00 from my acct.in less than two weeks thinking it's ok to send me candidates from the fishing industry, or cooks. When confronted a * said he will look into this and get back to me, to date I heard from no one in 2 weeks. I guess we can kiss that money goodbye. There are predatory practices going on with this Indeed company. My advice is to look elsewhere until we can close their doors forever.

We just came across with the information on x-employee who faked resume by addressing those projects which she did't even worked on not they went live. This situation makes up believe it is not easy for one to identify who holds what experience, employees like Anamika Kumari should be fired is recruited by any company or institutions, Most derogatory and dishonest attitude ever, Indeed must start a service to verify or provide recruits on verification of employees before the resume is uploaded.
What an absolute joke, how can I continue having a partnership with them and use their service that they're going to disable me on the very first post I do.

I have been unemployed for almost 3 weeks now. I immediately stated using indeed.com to send out my resume and seek employment. Today I was offered a position I found on indeed. Tomorrow I have an interview for a position I found on indeed. So i have found this site to be very helpful. Indeed.com is totally free so I dont know what this talk about the 50 dollar fee is. My only complaint about this site is that occasionally a search will yield a position that was posted a few weeks back.
I have many interviews from indeed. They are the best way to get a job. I use other sites snagajob and other job search websites and they never got me interviews with companies. Indeed let my resume go into places to where i could be heard and seen. I am forever grateful for their help. 4enoyreve

So I create this account few months back had all sponsored jobs paid bill for May 121$. Then suddenly account went under review as they suspected it's compromised.
I call customer service multiple time and they gave me saw scripted story it's been reviewed and will be active meanwhile I need to share company incorporation certificate. Which I did. Guess what the next mail I get after few days is account disabled due to job post not been as per standard.
You guys are just wasting time and money. Worst customer and I incurued 100$+ for 6 jobs where 60+ candidates were approcahed and all of a sudden we are gone as a company.

I am a startup and had our account disabled after a one day. Told me to submit documentation such as a utility bill, my tax ID. Without giving me a chance to prove that I am legit my appeal was denied. Now because of that other job posting companies are telling me The are not able to post my job Offer ANYWHERE! When you are a new business and theses barracudas are saying stuff like that it can damage you:
"As we cannot get your jobs listed anywhere I have gone ahead and canceled your account with Betterteam."
Who is regulating these companies? What is our recourse? They don't even deserve 1 star!

Applied to one CSR job posting that was fraud, now I am receiving multiple emails from different scammers asking to sign on to google hangout or yahoo messanger to conduct interviews. Indeed, do a better job of filtering out these "job postings"! All of the ones I have seen have the same template, seeking CSR no experience needed pay range is always high $20-$30 an hour. The contact person never has an email address that is tied to the company they claim to work for.

Had a coupon I used for posting a job opening. They are very misleading in the way they explain how the site works. I was under the impression that I had $75 in "clicks" or whatever they call it, and when that was used up, it was over. Yet I was billed almost $200 on our credit card. Even though I had an end date on my job, I was billed for 3 weeks after that end date. Will never use this company again. Gave one star because I had to.

The reasons on why I gave Indeed five stars is very simple. Indeed provides a service to those looking for jobs and those looking for employees, rating them off of just that, they were perfect. Although every job I applied for did not lead me to an open door but then again when has it ever. Having also used four other job engines with paying for two of them and applying collectively for 97 positions and only hearing back from a few of them can be very belittling. However with time and proper preperation of your own materials(resumé, cover letter), and using Indeed I can assure you that you will find a job.

Indeed online résumés are unacceptable to employers. There basically is no real format. I'm talking about when forwarding. Its like someone who didn't finish high school did the best they could, then took a chance and sent it. I have a good work and education background, but when I sent my Indeed online résumé to a friend who is a professional they said it was not acceptable due to the lack of formatting. In fact, I've sent many copies of that resume to employers who post on Indeed. The only ones to respond where scams for money. Use your own properly formatted résumé, and as for you Indeed?. "Ya Fired'!

I have been using indeed in my previous jobs to post job vacancies and it worked well and we were able to hire 3 people. So I thought of using it again in my new company which is a start-up. I tried indeed for a while then I got wise when I got no responses... I doubled back on their new listings, checking with the actual company websites for the companies they claimed were hiring. Turned out most WERE NOT HIRING, positions listed were not open. Old listings and listings pulled from other websites.
There is big $$$ in sites selling your email addresses and phone numbers and that is what most of these job search sites are!
I just signed up with Indeed yesterday. I just now attempted to modify my job post and they disabled and locked my account! Completely unprofessional and amateur. Oh, and there is no way to contact them.

Received many applications that did not meet the criteria established as minimum qualifications. Apparently there are no filters built into the system.
Received several good applicants that did not respond to other sites/methods.
I am a small business owner, looking to only hire 5-10 people for service-related positions. Very entry-level, no specialized skill set. I have spent hundreds of dollars on promoting my job posting on Indeed, with little success. While some of the actual applicants have been good and somewhat qualified, the amount I am charged for impressions is ludicrous.
I literally set a budget of $100 at 10pm and had $0 by morning, because I received hundreds of impressions, no applications, overnight. Yea, right. This feels scammy. This is just one example, I have thrown tons of cash at the post with little to no luck.

Indeed.com is a waste of money. I get 20 to 40 applications from craigslist from the ad I placed on indeed.com. I didn't receive a single response from Indeed and my money was GONE in 1 day. Complete scam!
