I think there are a lot of negative points in the site, after I got a number of resumes, my account got disabled.
I have been trying to reach them for 3 days but no response from them.
Indeed just cut off our access with no warning. It is a terrible way to conduct business and they will not return access and want us to do a paid version.
Hi Denice, thank you for leaving us some feedback. To provide further clarification, the account in question was going through our standard review process. It is normal that all accounts will be reviewed as we must verify the connection between the account creator and the company they are hiring for. We must also ensure that our quality guidelines are met. If enough information is not provided when the account is being created or we find a violation of our guidelines, then the account will go into the appeal status users experience. At this time, we can confirm that the account is finished with this review process and is fully active. We do apologize for any inconvenience!
I find the site to be out of date and when you visit the hiring company's website the posting isn't there. Just recently a fake job posting form "Chevron Oil and Gas in the UK posted several positions. Jobrapido also fell for this scam, which is most likely a phising scam. Not a very useful site and lacks security.

I have recently deleted my account with Indeed as I have been scammed once before then caught on to the second attempt. I contacted Indeed support and provided them with all details and corresponding emails. I requested them to share their investigation results but they declined. No transparency
DO NOT USE INDEED JOB SEARCH WEBSITE
Hello, we investigate all suspicious job postings on Indeed fully and create rules to prevent them from occurring again. We do not share all of our Search Quality processes and procedures so that we can make sure that all rules we create to prevent these positions from being shown moving forward are effective. If there is anything else we can do to help you, please feel free to reach out to us at sitejabber@indeed.com.
Sponsored a job for £3 a day for a week and was charged £156. There's no telephone number to call to sort it and emails go unanswered. Employers avoid!
Hi Joe! Thanks for reaching out. We followed up with you in a private message. We look forward to your response.
Easy to set up. Very quick to get good candidates and although I didn't use all the tools available, the experience was a good one. I would recommend this platform.
My indeed employer account has been disabled, i don't even know what did I do, its a really good site, but this really messed up my plan... please fix this
Hello there, thank you for reaching out. A member of our team has responded to your review by private message. Feel free to follow up with us there if you have any additional questions or concerns.
Posting with Indeed was easy and fast. I like that as I wear many hats within our small family-run business.
What frustrates me is the lack of integrity the candidates have when sending their information. Sometimes I wonder why they even both, especially when a job posting requests: "Send us your resume and tell us why you would be a good fit for our company"... and all you get is someone who isn't qualified and/or doesn't send anything other than a resume.
This tells me they aren't confident nor do they meet the qualifications.
Too bad Indeed can't weed these applicants and ultimates reject them via software... perhaps one day.
Our positions are specific - perhaps that is why we aren't getting many to apply despite the fact that our tour guides make more $$$ than most entry-level positions in banks, AD/PR agencies and many other businesses here in Hawaii.
It's a versatile job that takes one outdoors and meets different people from the world over and make lifelong friends too (so many of our guests are repeat at least 40% and request our guides for their next experience).
Oh Well - I know this isn't something Indeed can fix.
Overall it is a good experience.
As I received a email from site jabber telling me that close to 10,000 people had read my review of Indeed
I tried calling Indeed to see just what had happened?
And once again I was sent to the nonsensical department of customer service - no real reason - couldn't respond as to why my ad was disabled and now after months of being on other sites I have figured out that
I really don't need "INDEED".
With thousands spent on other recruiting sites as of today the need for 'INDEED is indeed a problem for INDEED"
Good luck out there in the grand world of recruiting as you will Indeed need to find another place to support your recruiting.
Hi David, thank you for taking the time to leave Indeed a review. All accounts on Indeed go through a standard reviewing process. This review can happen at any time as well, even to accounts that have been active previously. Unfortunately, Indeed has fully reviewed your account and we are unable to show your listings on the site and the account will remain in its disabled status. Indeed or Publishers may reject or remove any Job Ad, and Indeed may disable any Employer’s account, for any or no reason without notice. Although Indeed may indicate why a job or account has been removed or disabled, we cannot give every reason why a job or a company may be removed, and we always retain the right to remove any job, organic or sponsored, if we feel it is in our interest or our users’ interest. This is a final decision that will not be reversed. If you have urgent hiring needs, we recommend utilizing other hiring services. We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused.
It appears Indeed are now disabling Free Advertising accounts. Why not rather just make it a standard paid service as opposed to bullying tactics to push your free advertisers to paid. Your SOP's are PATHETIC.
Hi Lana, thank you for taking the time to leave Indeed a review. We were able to take a look into your account and can see your account was disabled due to a violation of our job posting guidelines. We have sent you a private message on how to proceed. Please follow up with us there.
Answer: Hello Anita, positions posted for free stay on Indeed for a total of 120 days. Sponsored positions can stay on the site until an employer has filled the job and closed it on Indeed.
Answer: Hi Sarah, we're sorry you haven't heard back from employers when submitting your resume on Indeed. We'd be happy to assist you here in reviewing your resume and offering suggestions for applying to jobs on the site. Answer: Hello Gerard, sorry for the negative experience. Indeed recently augmented existing search quality programs with new, ongoing strategies to make sure all jobs on Indeed meet standards for quality. This effort included a large scale review of job listings. Jobs that violated our guidelines and companies that did not meet our quality standards were disabled. We apologize that this was a frustrating process for you and will provide this feedback to our Search Quality team for future improvements.
Answer: By NO MEANS should you pursue this so-called job offer further and in fact, you should report them to the Better Business Bureau.
Answer: Hi Kristina, feel free to email our team at sitejabber@indeed.com with some additional details regarding your concerns and we'd be happy to take a look. Please be sure to reference this interaction in your email. Thank you.
Answer: Hi Irene, to explain, all accounts on Indeed go through a moderation process as we must verify the connection between the account creator and the company they are hiring for. We must also ensure that our quality guidelines are met. Based on your message, this is likely what you are currently experiencing. If you need assistance, feel free to email our team at sitejabber@indeed.com and we'd be happy to take a look.
