I signed up for the Ipsy bag subscription because I've been wanting to try new makeup, but I don't wear it enough to justify buying actual full-sized products. So anyway, I placed my order in the first week of February, got my confirmation, got charged for the bag, and then never heard another word. By the last week of February I still hadn't gotten my bag, so I had to contact customer service through their Facebook page. Miraculously after I inquired about where my bag was, I immediately got a notification that it shipped from the warehouse. Then, a week later (today) I check the tracking number and the bag hasn't moved from the warehouse. It's now been a full month, and thankfully I cancelled my subscription because if I hadn't I'd be paying for two bags I still don't have. Thankfully the customer service rep that I worked with was very helpful and didn't try to steer me into re-subscribing.
I have received 8 bags. I only use one product on a regular basis. It's as if IPSY hasn't taken my profile or my reviews seriously. Pale and matte lip colour (I want bold and I HATE matte!) and boring eye shadow/liners, as well. Still, I receive the same boring products. I would NEVER refer a friend.
I have been a loyal IPSY subscriber for years. The bags use to be great with name brand products. It now seems like IPSY is trying to cost cut. It is noticeable that the quality of the products has gone significantly down. I almost never get a popular name brand sample now. I also notice a lot of repeat products and very tiny sample sizes. I am so disappointed and have just been skipping months hoping things will get better. What's going on IPSY?
I have ordered Ipsy bags for my 2 daughters for a few years now. Recently, my oldest daughter had changed her address as she had changed her place of residence. After the move, she had not received her Ipsy bag for 2 months. While I was initially concerned Ipsy has no customer service number, they do offer the option to contact them through FB messenger. When doing so, I did receive a response almost immediately. Many messages were exchanged between myself and the representative and all responses were in a very timely manner. The representative was very helpful and made every effort to resolve the issue. She went above and beyond by reissuing both bags (that were not received as a result of the address change) and by also ensuring the address/delivery issue was rectified. The representative was extremely professional and made a very genuine attempt to provide great customer service while rectifying the situation. Therefore, I will say in addition to always being satisfied with Ipsy's product, I am now beyond pleased with Ipsy's customer service. I highly recommend Ipsy to anyone who is considering a subscription!
Their products are third world and God only knows what's in them. I cancelled after paying for three bags. They only sent me two bags and it's been a fight to get a refund for the bag I never got. I wish I had read other reviews before making my initial purchase. Trust me, buy your cosmetics from either a dept. store or CVS.
Company told me to wait 15 business days, then wait till beginning of February and still no bag but Ipsy already took out of my account for February bag! Still can't even get my bag i paid for January 2,2021
I use to love this company, unfortunately they have went extremely down hill. I paided for a January bag and did not receive it they said they sold out. They still tried to charge me for a February bag even though I am not getting my January bag. This company will try everything to get get more and more money from you for products that a mediocre at best. Shame!
I do the annual subscription and have been for about 2 years. I live to get a surprise package every month! I especially enjoy getting the add ons. Every month they offer a few products for $12 or $ 18 that are usually so much more at Sephora or ultra. I have found their customer service helpful and quick to respond when I have an issue with a broken or missing product.
Ipsy used to be the best. They always give out the absolute best and most valuable sample products compared to other beauty subscriptions. If u found anything wrong with ur ipsy bag just email support and they will send u a coupon for the next bag or extra free samples! It always shipped out on the 2nd or 3rd only a few days after being charged, and would arrive on the 10th! I understand that covid delays are happening but with every other purchase the delay has only been a couple days more than usual. Lately my bag doesn't even SHIP until the 20th and doesn't arrive until i'm already paying for the next bag. I love the products and i didn't even mind when the price went up from 10$ to 12$ but now it seems like too much for the bad service. Not to mention if you email support now they send u a generic "it will arrive soon!" message rather than working with you or fixing the issue. It used to be amazing but now i think i'm going to switch to a different beauty box.
Even though I have tried multiple times to cancel my monthly subscription to this company. They choose to ignore it and choose to bill me every month and then make it impossible to contact them about your complaint. They choose to ignore their customers and steal their money. Subscriber beware!

I thought it'd be so fun to be sent samples of products every month. It was so appealing and advertised so well. But this service is honestly not worth it! The amount of times I've had to email customer service about the items I'm missing alone isn't worth it enough to re-purchase another month. Every month I'm missing add-ons or things that Ipsy themselves picked for me. I doubt customer service even notifies the warehouse that they don't bother to check all the items before sending them out. And by the time they get back to you or bother sending a replacement, the item is out of stock anyway. I'd rather take my service elsewhere or even pay full price to ACTUALLY receive the items I bought. Do yourself a favor and save yourself the headache and take your money elsewhere.
I have been with ipsy through some growing pains. They have always had some issues with customer service and I think that is a trend I have seen with some if not most companies.
It seems no one has a phone or customer service. Email becomes one source or social media. I believe through reviews Ipsy has greatly improved its support and response time has been better.
The good is getting new products that are curtailed to your likes mostly and can seemly be one of the few subscriptions to do it to a point. If you can spare 12.00 - I think it is a fun extra and way to try new products without spending the major bucks on ones you are throwing away because they don't work or just don't like.
The bad is NOT getting what you ordered, email back and forth with customer service, and at times getting duplicates.
Out of all of them - IPSY has most of the time good. I give them credit for doing a pretty good job! :D
Have been a member for ages and generally enjoy the bags. Every few days they send an email about things you can buy outside of the monthly membership. I saw some masks that i got in a bag and liked so i ordered them on 11/12/2020. It is 12/8/20 and they never arrived. The tracking number says they were never sent. I have emailed customer care and received no follow up. I am out 40$ so far. Now i need to get my credit card involved and I am basically pissed. They started out answering my emails and told me to wait because shipping times are extended. Not a full month extended that ups says they never sent. Basically they stole 40$ and won't return my emails.
My ipsy bag is just wonderful! The products are awesome and well, well worth every dime I have spent.
After receiving tons of mini samples of various types of skincare cancelling becomes impossible
There is absolutely no phone number anywhere in this business
Not one human to speak to.
And nothing gets canceled
You keep getting charged over and over.
Good luck trying to stop it.
I have been getting Ipsy bags for 7 months now and I still get super excited every time I know my monthly bag is on the way! I love how they send you all different brands of make up to try, and also gives you the option to add products to your bag! I usually add a few full size products to my bag. Their prices are really good and I'm always completely satisfied with my monthly Ipsy bag!
I was subscribed to Ipsy for quite some time, and not just 1 box a month, but all 3 options. That's right, I was spending nearly $100 a month through Ipsy. They have a point system where you can get free products. I had redeemed my points for a sample of something I REALLY wanted to try. First month went by- nothing, second month, still nothing. I contacted customer service and at the end of it all, my account was deactivated (not by me and without warning) and none of my redeemed products ever came. Huge thumbs down.
Don't get it there, received 4 things in the plus bag, not customer service, none where my color. The
Over all products good but lip gloss was old and over tacky, probably a good product in its day but way off now kinda disappointing
Sense the beginning it was just a series of unfortunate events. I subscribe and awaited my first bag, NEVER CAME! They told me to wait due to Covid... 3WEEEKS later still nothing! I updated my shipping information in the time span they recommend to update them in time. They had well over a month after I updated it and they still end up sending my "replacement bag" to the wrong address! I lost $25 to Ipsy and never got any bag. They are so unprofessional and unorganized.

Answer: OK well it depends where you live because here in Canada it is $20ish dollars but if you live in the U.S. A then ya it's worth it. The products are really high quality and I havent had any bad products yet. But for me to live in Canada and pay almost $20 dollars, it's kind of pricey. So it really depends on you, where you live and your preferences. Hope this helped

Answer: Rosi, I have been a subscriber for several months. They send samples of many different brands but not Lime Crime. Here are some of the brands: City Color, trestique, NYX, Luxie brushes, Pacifica, star looks, Bella Pierre, Dermelect, be a bombshell, dls, hey honey, Marc Anthony, Eva nyc, MOR hand creme, Clarks botanicals, Avance, epice, belif creme, REN creme, and peek, and Trust Fund. During the ten months I have been a subscriber, I have only received a handful of high end makeup samples: the Balm, tarte, and smashbox. Some people love ipsy, but my experience has shown me that a lot of times they send me products that I don't like or ones that don't match my "beauty profile". So I will probably cancel soon. The products are not counterfeit, though. If I were you, I would not subscribe to ipsy. Hope that helps! -Heather
