How dare you hold up money for Social Security and disabled people. One more lame-$#*! excuse after another... I got my first two stimulus payments 6 days after the president's signature. Now it's going on 3 weeks... blaming it on Social Security what BS. Im literally dying here... just had a heart valve installed desperately need this money to stop eviction... now that you have had the updated files since Thursday from Social Security... depoit the damn money... nothing but incompetent and excuses... its just not fair and it's not right... HELP... and to add insult to injury all IRS phone lines say it's too busy call back later and they hang up on you. And the so called get my payment tool Is just a travesty... doesn't work and it's never worked... and you people know it...
I've been trying to talk to someone at the IRS for 6 days. I'm talking hours on hold per day. And still can't even speak to someone who can even take my social security number! Terrible service. Rude employees. Unprofessional in everyway! $#*! you Uncle Sam!
I do not owe anything to the IRS and they are withholding half of my return. I am expect 2700 and they only gave me 1400. On their end, it shows no such difference. But on my end I am supposed to be getting way more. When addressing the problem I am told there is nothing they can do about it... I work hard for my money and get A LOT of taxes taken out... to get a reply like that? The IRS is a joke and so is America.
How could you screw up something so simple as punching in a few numbers that I had given you correctly because I can see on my page what I wrote. Then have the nerve to tell me to call my bank, how is my back supposed to do a darn thing when you only leave the last four digits shown and don't even say which bank the account was from. DUH making any sent at all. Unbelievable, first this virus, then get hit hard with this, and of course no matter what time is call I get no answer. Hate being an American anymore.
Mr. Zanbino is an agent with the IRS. He took my phone call concerning a large penalty payment due for my company based on a tardy filing by my accountant. After getting all the information, he agreed to give me a first abatement and removed the penalties. It was not just this wonderful news, it was his caring spirit and words of encouragement for a tough time I was going through. He was amazing.

It`s so sad that we all need to interact with the IRS. Their website is terrible, information there is old and not accurate. Also, it is impossible to talk to someone over there over the phone. I have been waiting for a refund for more than a year now, and I just cant contact them. And now they want me to file my 2020 taxes? Like really? I dont understand why I pay taxes to the gov. When they cant even talk to me. I understand the pandemic etc, but come on, more than a year? Really? For this big and rich country, the US, these things should be fast and transparent.
After waiting for two hours an employee named "Daunce" with and employee number: *******455 was extremely rude. She refused to repeat what she was asking for and will not allow me to help my dad clarify her questions. I understand that these employees go through a lot, but if they are not willing to deal with the work load, please find a different profession and stop ruining other people's lives and work in your professionalism.
Using the IRS - ID.me system to access my account has proven to be a mission impossible for me. My smartphone could not take pictures of specified quality, or send them quick enough, or fit within the range of the bytes required by the system. All lines of IRS are busy asking me to call another day. The good old days when I called the IRS and got an answer in 10 minutes are long gone. The ID.me system tramples on any and all ideas of convenience of a taxpayer. I have spent hours trying to access my account in vain.
What misery! Is our country too poor to afford a sufficient number of clerks to answer inquiries so that it must steal hours of time from whoever tries to access its tax agency online? I would try to handle it all by mail.
It's very unprofessional how they handle the refunds every year. They should be able recognize who is the sole provider in the household after claiming dependents for EIC & Child Tax Credit. Holding our refunds is a bit unprofessional and I am sick of it. I hope the IRS makes a change real soon or come of with some better security when it comes to knowing whether someone has stolen someone else's identity. Seriously they need to do better.
I am 48 years old so I have dealt with the IRS's negligence, laziness, and unprofessionalism for many years. You can never speak with a representative. The automated service is lengthy then it directs you to another automated service. It seems that there is an arrogance about this organization, where they feel that they do not need to offer even the most basic of services and professionalism. I receive better service at McDonald's! There is plenty of stress involved with taxes and dues that are owed yet no help from them whatsoever. The good thing is that whatever actions you give out are coming right back. This organization is truly An embarrassment. DO YOUR JOB!
This is the most useless governmental unit we have. They have the worst customer service center, they could care less about your issues, especially if it involves them. I'm not real sure how deciding who gets what when is really as important as getting into the hands of this who truly need it. IRS. Take the d**k out of your mouth and get to cutting some checks, do your job. For supposedly educated people, your whole IRS unit are some stupid mother fudruckers.

Have not received my tax refund. Received a letter stating that it is under further review. This has never happened in all my years of filing, so I did not know why. The woman I spoke with basically re-read the letter and said I needed to give them more time. She read from a script, did not care to hear my concerns, and hung up on me. The federal government trains the rudest people to deal with the public-- TSA and IRS. Funny how the IRS lets people with tons of money skate by on tax payments, but they're worried about my little refund. Funny. Worst country.
Ive tried for over 30 minutes to get into the irs website to obtain some info and cannot waste my time to verify i am who i say i am. This id me is the most cumbersome use of government money ive ever seen.
I have been trying to get information about the stimulus payment and you can not real a live person by phone i'd just to say this very inconsiderate and very unprofessional of them and the website is not working right first i got payment status not available now it say's we are unable to provide you with status of your payment or perform the action requested because the tax information you entered does not match our records or have already accessed the system maxiumum number of times per day come on irs step it up we need live phone assistance this is very poor class less and extremely unprofessional of you guys i know you can do better
They sure scan levy my house and bills and and everything in between but they don't answer the phone. How am I supposed to set up a payment plan if the online portal won't let me, and y'all won't answer the phone. So unprofessional. They charge us out the $#*! to live life but can't even handle a simple customer service job.
If I could leave 0 stars, I would. It took me all day to be able to get in a phone cue for the IRS. I had one simple question regarding a payment I had made. After two hours of waiting the cue, my call was finally answered by an extremely rude woman who brusquely introduced herself as an IRS representative and then asked... in the same tone of voice "Wanna make a payment l?" I then answered and said I wanted to check on a payment that had been made. Almost before I had even finished my sentence. She hung up on me. This entitled jerk should realize who is paying her salary, as it does not droppeth from the sky like manna from Heaven. However. I'm absolutely certain she never will, and that these situations will become far more frequent and far worse, in the near future.

I wasted my time by collect all the information and reported to the Tax fraud department, they never did any investigation or get back to me. The bad guys still there and continue what ever they doing
There hasn't been a single time that I've logged into this website and not had an issue. They'll make sure that they get paid but that's about all they're good for. God forbid they meet you half way. It's always you doing 80% of the work. Forget meeting you half way, how about actually having a functioning website? I just tried to log in to make another payment that they don't need with money I could reaIly use and I can't even log in. "A technical error has occurred, try again later." No, I'm trying now, you're lucky I'm trying at all. I mean, do you want the money or not? Take it, and get the f*ck out of my way. Not only do I have to give the IRS this money that I could really use, but you're going to make it almost impossible for me to pay it? Is part of my payment psychological torture? Because using your website makes me feel like I'm losing my mind. Use that money to stay up to date with your website and make it easier to navigate. It's the absolute very least you could do.
The IRS takes all your info when calling to find out info for the changes they make on your taxes but than the recording comes on say: due to high volume of calls your call can not be answered please call back the next business day. I've been calling back for 12 days and still haven't spoken to anyone. They are worst than unemployment...!
They dont provide any good info and the website is a joke. They just like to screw people over and not give them the money they are promised. As long as they get paid at the end of the day they dont care who they screw over. Why would we have to claim the 600 in our taxes if we got the first one before. Can't get any decent help from the government because they are all old pricks and crooked. This has turned in to a one way street, we're suppose to jump through hoops endlessly and when it's time to get any benefits they find any and every way to leave us with the same issues for months and years at a time. Organized theft is all it's ever been.
First of all it would have been nice to know my penalty for filing late when I paid originally instead of getting the notice months later just to be penalized for the extra months it took to send the penalty. Then the website gave me a notice I couldn't access the information for two weeks. Now after making a payment, it tells me I'll be charged a fee for each additional payment I make via credit or debit card? So I go to enter my bank info and it won't allow me to do it outside of business hours or on the weekend? Normal people work during the week. It's like they make everything backwards and as difficult as possible to collect more money. I think I'm just gonna quit my job and collect welfare.
I am so glad the government makes it easier for people to sit down and not work instead of getting a job when their are jobs available then people who are actually working that need their tax return for bills cant even get it in its been 8 weeks and still no tax return? Can the people who actually been working through all of this get their tax return said of the government just giving away money to people who don't want to work?

As far as I'm concerned they can go f*** themselves or each other. They don't give a $#*! about us and definitely don't wana give out money that's owed. Such bs they taking so long to fix the taxes they messed up. And then to tell people with kids that we will get our correction latter... we just have to hold out for our younger generation to get older and these greedy old pos f**** die off and maybe it will get better, but for now f**** all the greedy sobs that run this shot now...
