As an occasional art teacher, I am constantly on the lookout for inspiration on everything that's connected with crafting, woodworking, printing and general DIY-ing. Issuu used to be my go-to source for this field as well as many others. A while ago, I noticed a decline in the quality as well as in the quantity of the content which is now reduced to company catalogs and "previews" of rather irrelevant books (2021). I've logged on to Issuu maybe 2-3 times this year and found that a lot of books are missing from my library. Seems like publishers are avoiding Issuu and so am I now.
This company is absolutely horrible. If you sign up for the free trial, beware. To be safe cancel a few days ahead of time and be sure to get a confirmation in writing. Although I asked to cancel on the same day as I was set to renew, they would not refund my money and charged a FULL Year, which is hundreds of dollars. Any legit business doesn't have to do a bait and switch to get you to be their customer. If it was such a great product, they wouldn't have to steal peoples money. What a horrible way to run a business. Run away from this company, there are other ones that do the same thing and have better business practices.

I'm not satisfied with your politics. I'm really disappointed with your customer service and I regret creating an account at your website in the first place. I feel scammed and truly hope after reading other customer complaints that my story with you will finish soon.
As a student, I really don't have extra money for expenses like that. In this busy world no one is able to keep track of trials or other things we don't even use after creating an account. I feel tricked and it just looks like you're waiting for people like me to get money for nothing.
If you really want to change something for the better, maybe you should send notification email before the end of the free trial?
It would be really nice from your part to send me my money back.

Don't even think about signing up. I lost $420.00 to this Piece of SH*T. But I will get $420.00 worth of posting BAD reviews for the next years. At least once a month to make up for this so called company ripping people off. This is first of many to come.

As a communications agency and after having worked with dozens of plugins, this is arguably the worst company I have worked with.
Now unable to get a refund for an unused service.

I was unaware of Auto Renewal. One year later a $420 charge appeared via email. I emailed back within the hour to refund the charge & don't renew (politely). Nope. We have a policy. It was in the fine print. (You know that scrolling conglomerate of ipso/facto crap you can't understand if you want to.) OMG! Bank reversed the charge & ISSUU produced the fine print to them. Bank told me they can't override that so I'm stuck with the $420 charge. This cannot seriously be allowed in business. I'm beyond frustrated!
Website does not work half of the time. NO telephone support - you have to submit a question through their website support page. So what happens when you want to cancel and cannot get on to their site to change your billing/account info? Cannot get onto these items on their website. Really? Shady company and very poor business deallings! I hope they make a lot of money on their unauthorized charges because they will go out of business dealing this way! DO NOT SUBSCRIBE!

This is just the worst company I ever meet. Totally unnecessary subscription hidden in the small letters and they do NOT respond on any communication. Big frauds and strongly advice to everybody not to deal with issuu.
I love the idea of Issuu, but it just too unreliable, too unpredictable. Sometimes I can open a publication; sometimes I can't. When I click on "read", more often than not what comes up is just a blank screen. I'm very disappointed in it.
Signed up to free trial - the publishing itself is not great, you're better off uploading a pdf file. The functionality is basic. But worst of all, unethical practice not to notify customers when free trial ends, bill immediately and not offer refund or partial refund if you cancel the subscription before the end of a billing cycle. I'm out of pocket 400USD despite cancelling the first day of the billing cycle. Highly unethical no care for customers.
