I've been an iYogi customer ever since Dell refused to extend services on my desktop computer nearly 10 years ago. I never regretted that decision. Throughout the years, iYogi support is always available every time I had a problem, whether it was a computer virus, or a Windows upgrade, or a disk crash. Moreover, I don't think any tech support service in the U.S. can and will ever match iYogi's pricing. The 24/7 service at iYogi is provided by college trained computer science majors, and software engineers. They are truly professionals. I hope iYogi will remain as a customer-oriented independent company, and not get swallowed up by a big company only interested in squeezing more money out of their customers and their own staff. Between my husband and myself we spent 10 hours in front on the computer in one day. BEWARE! Don't waste your time. We went 5 full days without internet access or removal of our viruses. 3 return phone calls with an appointment also to no avail. This is a rip off. Also be informed that is you have Shield Deluxe, change your antivirus software. This is the company that recommends iyogi.
Just got a call from *******901 and they tried to talk fast and tell me my computer was going to crash... asked for his name and number and then they hung up... SCAMMERS! Don't let them into your computer!
After two full hours, I finally was able to get everything straightened out. I wanted a one year contract, but got an incoherent reply telling me that was not possible. Had to speak to three different people. I speak only one language, but I am not in customer service. People were difficult to understand. I now find that a friend had a similar experience. Would love to get out of contract.
I have been a customer of IYOGI for about 4 years. They have always been able to get things back on track, but sometimes it takes longer than I would prefer which sometimes results in my waiting too long to ask for their help. Their technicians are always very courteous and for the most part are knowledgable
I purchased a Asus notebook, with built in Windows. Windows was expiring, and I did not have a disk, nor, would Windows allow me to use the key code.
After getting no help from the place of purchase, Microsoft, I was directed to Yogi, and their tech dept. was a enormous help. Yogi found problems, I didn't know I had. The price was reasonable, the help, invaluable.

I have used IYogi a little over 5 years they have fixed my problems many times. All I have to do is click the live help icon or call on the phone. I have not had to take any of my computers to the shop or have anyone to the house since joining. They ave been a very good investment and time savor 24/7.

The iYogi technicians have always helped me with any issues on my computers both big and small. They have updated my systems, removed viruses, corrected malfunctions, and just about anything you can think of. The technicians are very good at resolving all of my issues. They are well trained. What is fantastic is they do it all via network and it is easy. You don't have to call a computer technician and wait for them to come to your home and charge you a fortune or take it to a repair shop and be without your computer for a week. I have subscribed to iYogi for a year now, just renewing, and can say it has been a life saver at times. One time I called as I could not get my laptop to cooperate with what I wanted it to do and although it took 4 hours to fix, it saved me days without my computer if I had to take it to a shop to be fixed. The iYogi techs are very thorough and very helpful to say the least. Kudos to all the techs! I use it daily on little things and monthly on bigger problems. Great bargain for the price!
I signed up with iYogi about a year ago as I was experiencing problems with my desktop computer. The technician solved my issue and I was pleased with the service. I have signed up for one year and I have received regular assistance with general maintenance of my computer. The technicians always do a super job and go the extra mile in solving problems and preventing future issues. I do not know of any other technical service who can do better. IYogi cares about the customer and that goes a long way for me.
I used this service to install antivirus software on my laptop. Due to a poor internet connection on my end, I spent two hours on the phone with a representative trying to get auto-renewal charge deleted from my account and trying to get the softball installed. After the antivirus software was installed I noticed I had a double charge for services on my credit card. When I called back and explained the double charge, the company said they had to wait 48 hours to conduct an investigation even though it just happened. After the 48 hours, I did receive my refund. I will say while the service can be slow and hard to understand at time, my antivirus software has kept my laptop safe.
I had IYogi for 3-4 years, at first you had to stay on the phone and try to understand them, then they took control of your computer, they did a good job, the, everytime you used the serviced they wanted money for something, then I heard they went out of business, I wanted some money back, they called many times each day. Today, I talked with someone named John Carter? With an Indian accent. Wanted to give me $250 back, when he was putting it into my account, a mistake, put in $3250, then wanted me to go to Walmart to get a moneygram to return it. I told him to just take it back out, couldn't do that. Well I'm not going to send a moneygram, I called the police and my bank. Tomorrow I am changing the account number but leaving his $3000 in the old one. Keeping the $250.00. Little $#*!s, just a bunch of thieves and when it started, they were good and did a good job.
I had iyogi for 2 yrs and then cancelled it back in 2014. Last night i had a phone call from them saying my info on my computer is outdated. I do not know how they got my new number. I hung up on them but i know they will call back again. They cost way to much money and they didn't want to refund my money back in 2014. They are useless and i would not recommend them. I have bask now for 2 yrs and they do cost money when you are on a fixed income. They to are getting cancelled. I have verizon and they will work on my computer no extra charge.
Iyogi has thus far provided only the finest service for home computers that I have ever encountered. It is superior to several computer shops to which I have taken my computer(s) and the individuals I have had the pleasure to deal with have been professional, patient, competent, and extremely polite.

This is the worst most dishonest and fraudulent company I have ever dealt with. I called for a simple problem and was informed that I needed to buy a warranty for four incidents. I did so. They never solved the problem. When I had a second incident they claimed the first contract only covered one incident. They then sold me a three year contract with all sorts of outlandish promises of free Microsoft software etc. When I questioned the promises and warranty I was told that the call was being recorded so I had no risk. When I tried to collect on the promises they said they could not find the recording and canceled my contract.
Beyond making fraudulent promises any call I made took a minimum of one hour and the people I spoke to were polite but incompetent.
This company and anything they sell is a scam.
I have been with iyogi for several years and have been very pleased with them. They have solved many problems for me. They are very professional, timely and most of all their technicians are superb. If the first tech can't solve the problem, they go to another level of expertise to solve it. They are not on a time constraint when working with you, they take whatever time it takes. They will also make an appointment and call you back in cases where it can't be solved at that time. You can reach them 24/7, 365 days a year. So far, they have served me well and I would recommend them to anyone
This company is pretty awful. They were good for the first few years, then greed set in. Every time I called it turned into a time-share-condo level sales job. Then it got worse. After they were sued by the Washington AG in December, no one in billing support answered the phones and customer service chat was disabled for weeks (a coincidence, I'm sure; a billing support person I finally got hold of on Jan. 16 said it was because of the holidays... suuuuuuuuure, it was.) I've been told FOUR times over nearly two months since then that my refund should show up in the next few days; three times that hasn't been the case. Ostensibly this tech support company can't solve its own technical issue. That's what I've been told. I suspect they're trying to test whether refund-seekers will give up. Is there a class-action lawyer anywhere working on this? It appears this is a common issue.
I have been using iYogi for tune-ups on a computer between quarterly and monthly depending on the need. Their tune-ups have resolved problems that I had.
The issue I have with iYogi is that most times when I have gotten a tune-up the iYogi technician has tried to sell me another product, in a quite persistent manner, which I have to say "no" to multiple times before he finally gives up. The most recent time was actually amusing: In mid July 2015 he tried so sell me on upgrading my System 7 to System 8; this was after it was widely known that Microsoft was about to offer System 10 for free. It has also been widely known for several years that System 8 is a dud. I pointed all this out to him but still had to say no many times before he gave up.
This is an update to a posting on 5/11/11. In the post I stated that IYOGI had not refunded my $170.00 I YOGI did indeed refund my money only to an unexpected account.
It took 8 phone calls until I found a Customer Care rep. Who finally got to the bottom of the problem in the finance department. Why it took 3 months to resolve the issue is a mystery; however, I YOGI did resolve the issue and did refund the money 3 months earlier.
It just took them 3 months to figure out where the money was sent. On the other hand their technical support service is definitely 5 stars.
Don't go anywhere near these cowboys... They don't know what they are doing, will try to get you to pay for services you do not require, then will continue to charge you annual subscription against your express wishes. BEWARE!

I purchased products and software from iyogi in June and September of 2015 and never received a thing. I called numerous times and was told I would have everything soon. After about 2 1/2 months I could no longer get calls through. The phone number has a recording directing me to a chat website that doesn't work. I gave several bad reviews about them and finally received a call about 3-4 weeks ago saying I would be getting refunds in the mail and asking me to take down or change my reviews afterwards. I requested the money go back on my card but he said he cant do it that way. I asked for a number to call in case I didn't get a refund. He said he would call me back to make sure I received my checks. None of that has happened. DO NOT DEAL WITH THESE SCAMMERS!
