I've been an iYogi customer ever since Dell refused to extend services on my desktop computer nearly 10 years ago. I never regretted that decision. Throughout the years, iYogi support is always available every time I had a problem, whether it was a computer virus, or a Windows upgrade, or a disk crash. Moreover, I don't think any tech support service in the U.S. can and will ever match iYogi's pricing. The 24/7 service at iYogi is provided by college trained computer science majors, and software engineers. They are truly professionals. I hope iYogi will remain as a customer-oriented independent company, and not get swallowed up by a big company only interested in squeezing more money out of their customers and their own staff. Good job, iYogi, and good luck!
Between my husband and myself we spent 10 hours in front on the computer in one day. BEWARE! Don't waste your time. We went 5 full days without internet access or removal of our viruses. 3 return phone calls with an appointment also to no avail. This is a rip off. Also be informed that is you have Shield Deluxe, change your antivirus software. This is the company that recommends iyogi.
I had a contract with Iyogi for a couple years. Then a couple years ago they informed me they could no longer honor the contract. They did not, however, refund any money. I am now getting calls purporting to be Iyogi employees wanting access to my computer so they can refund my money. I do not believe they are Iyogi employees, but scammers taking advantage of the Iyogi lawsuit. I simply tell the scammers that if they are Iyogi employees then they know my address so just send me the money, and hang up.
Overall very positive. They always solve any problem. I will definitely continue to use them. One concern is they are always trying to sell something. Often I am tired after work and just want to get the problem fixed and move on. The selling conversations sometimes goo on and on.
It is nice to not have to take your computer to a shop to get it running well. IYogi is always willing to help. Sometimes the problem take quite awhile and they stay with it until the problem is solved. Overall I have been very happy.
This company said if I wasn't happy I could cancel at any time. I cancelled only an hour after signing up because I couldn't understand the rep. I was transferred to a supervisor who tried to tell me I couldn't get a refund to which I said "you are wrong my friend, read your statement". Angrily he hung and and I called my bank to retrieve the submitted payment. Two weeks later my bank notifies me of possible fraudulent charges that are trying to be made to the card. When I asked who it was they said a company names IYOGI. Stay away!
So my computer had a virus, so i been subscriber for years now, and guess what when subscriber expired the called obviously to renewed it!. So now my computer came down with another virus and i spend a hold half hour on hold just for a technician. He was so rude! And update my computer spend hours resolving god knows what, and until now it didnt even get resolve. Avoid iyogi they scams!
I had very good cosumer sevice. I am an old woman and I have very little computer knowledge. I was treated with respect even though I could not understand some of their instructions but they worked around it. The price seemed a little steep but if after the service I received, it was worth. I like that I have support at any time and they did resolve my issues and my computer is performing great! Thanks iyogi
I have had the opportunity to use Iyogi technical support on several occasions. Each time I contacted them I was met with a warm reception and treated with courtesy. Each time I contacted the problem was resolved. Over the time I have been with Iyogi they have gained my respect and trust. I feel good about Iyogi and have recommended them to some of my friends and relatives.
I just completed a long session with "Kewin" of your company and wanted to take the survey on his service.
I did not receive the survey, therefore I'm writing this review.
I was very pleased with his service and communication skills. Although I'm not
Finished installing all the software, I just wanted to show my appreciation for his
Professional service.
He was a pleasure to work with.
IYOGi is the best computer help you will ever find. They are reliable, easy to access from in front of your computer, Available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and never are shut down on holidays. I explain my problem In non computer language and they seem to know just exactly what I mean and how to fix it! I have been a customer for several years and never failed to have a problem fixed. GREAT COMPANY and affordable.
I ordered a PC in October 2015, never received it and was told in February it would arrive in 2 weeks. Still haven't received it and trying to get my credit card company to dispute the charge which may be over the time limit which IYogi counts on. BTW IYogi is still claiming a credit was issued and Chase bank said there has been no credit issued for $717.00 It is now May 29,2016
I keep receiving calls from iYogi every day saying they will refund my money, but I have to go www.teamviewer.com/en to get my money back. I refused to go to their site and I said to them if you are going to refund my money, just refund my money, you have my address and phone # and just do it, and they hung up the phone on me.
I have been using Iyogi support and security now for about 5 yrs. I like the idea that Iyogi is available 24/7. When i use "Live Help icon" I get instant help. If the tech is not able to help me, they will connect me with a higher level experience technician. I will continue with Iyogi. I like Iyogi so much that I have 3 computers covered by Iyogi. I also have ID protection from Iyogi. I feel SAFE with Iyogi!
Hi, I am an Ex-iYogi Employee, iyogi has not paid it's employees for last 6-7 Months and is under Millions of Debt. The company has now resorted to Fake/Unethical/Incorrect Sales. There are only couple of employees now who are left. The only person responsible for this is the CEO Mr. Uday Challu. They have brought us to such a state that quitting was the only option left. Nice tactics Mr Challu not to pay your employees and bring them to such a stage that they quit in pain, while you live your life lavishly. You are pathetic and dirty beyond words.
I had problems with my computer's anti virus from Total Defense. Total Defense referred me to iYogi where I was told I needed a one year service contract to fix my computer. I paid $169.99 for the one year and iYogi destroyed my computer. They locked me out of it & shut down my computer. I tossed the computer out & have been without one for over a year. This June iYogi automatically renewed my service of $169.99, without my authorization. I contacted them for a refund & was given a confirmation number & said 7-10 days the money would be back in my bank acct. No refund yet. Stay away from this company & believe all of the negative feedback from this site.
I was a customer for 8 years- everything was fine untill last August- Started upselling items i had no interest in- Unfortunately i bought into a 5 year plan. They owe me- So much for that Karma crap they used as a core principle for their team. Good Karma would put someone in jail.
I had good luch with them in the beginning but eventually I got a tecky who royally screwed up my computer, after 5 more calls and hours and hours on the phone my computer was dead and had to be replaced. Also, difficult to understand some fo the tecky english.
I have been a customer of IYOGI online computer repair since their start in 2007. IYOGI's expertly trained Microsoft certified technicians provide the expertise to fix all your computer problems. Once becoming a member, you have access to a computer expert 24/7, seven days a week. Without a doubt, IYOGI has saved me time and money by fixing my computer issues online. I can attest that IYOGI is by far the best online computer repair service on the market today. Become a member and when problems arise, call IYOGI and set back while they repair you computer. They are the best.
After numerous problems with their service including trying to sell me unnecessary software and hardware, I uninstalled their software. Since then I've received an increasing number of phone solicitations from a call center asking for access to my computer. Currently I receive 3-4 calls every day from unknown numbers, no caller ID, numbers missing a digit, and Dummy numbers from all over the United States. No matter how many times I ask them to stop, the calls only increase in frequency. Last week someone from iYogi gave me the email address *******@iyogi.com with instructions on how to cancel my membership. My email bounced back as undeliverable. Today, their representative asked me to pay them $100 to have my name removed from their systems. He said five of their technicians would be assigned to the task and it would take them less than eight hours. How do we stop this harassment?
At first I was a little skeptical of a company that I know is not in the United States, but I felt that I needed this service. When ever I have needed this company they have been just a phone call away. Even down to when I have had problems with a piece of software, they have been fully willing to help me. I am very pleased with iyogi service and I trust them with my computer and my identity.
IYogi tech support looks you right in the eye and lies to you. Their off shore tech support team doesnt address the question you ask, and push you into taking over your computer, then installing their scan software, and mislead with facts. I spoke on two successive times with their teams, and see they are well trained tactically to upsell their tools. Really they are a revenue center. It makes Norton, Apple, HP look like fools.
A few bigger questions though: Do big brands know/care what's going on when they out source security-intensive tech support offshore? Are offshore companies exploiting our underbellies, and ripping our passwords, account numbers, other data?

I dealt with iYogi 4 years... Last year they talked me into buying 5 years of service plus 3 years of their "Tech Genie application. They have received all my money (close to $1000 over the 4 year period)... Then, (after they had my money $539.98 (2015), they changed their available days and times of operation from 24/7 to Mon-thru-Fri, 6AM to 5PM which conflicts with my work times! They cannot contact me and I cannot contact them with these new times; I have asked for a pro-rated refund, however, they don't know me now! Advice: Do NOT buy or have anything to do with iYogi or any of their products and/or services or you will lose your $money and your temper! Please listen to this warning... Thank you, "iYogi taught me a lesson & I have finally learned it well!" NO STAR
I have had good and bad experience with Iyogi, I call up they fix my problem in one or two hours, I give a good review and a week later I have more problems. There techs are very friendly and even plesant to talk to, but at the end of the day I'm back with more problems. They contunally want to sell you more software. I finally had to cancel after a few hundred $$$$$.
When the so-called "gurus" at one of my ISPs (also my DSL provider) could not reslove my problem, they sent me to iYogi. Everybody there treated me with courtesy and resolved my problem with on call. For my hundred seventy simoleons, I get 24/7 assistance in removing software and other problems. Sure, they're in India, but so what? I get a year of polite and competent assistance. And my computer was full of junk files and long running programs that were slowing me down, and eating memory, and this was the best and easiest way. I'm as contented as an oyster under the dock of a cornmeal mill.
Last Oct. I paid for one year of tech service. In Nov. I was billed a second time for the same service. After several calls and they finally admitted the error. After no refund for the second billing, I disputed the charge on my AMX card. After no response from iYogi they reversed the charge.
Today iYogi called me for a check up on my computer. Then he told me that my service had been canceled because of a charge back that I requested. So I paid for one year and got one month of service.
I am to tired of fighting with them to try to reinstate the service.
Do not do business with these crooks.
I have called IYogi many times for problems with my current computer and they are always obliging and helpful in helping me repair my computer problems. I don't know what I would do if I didn't have their expertise whenever I call them.
